Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie is in the kitchen working on breakfast.. He got home from the party a bit earlier than expecting the night before but he had fun. The smell of bacon cooking is wafting through the ait.

Rage has posed:
Making her way into the kitchen is Andrea. She stayed in last night, handing out candy to students and mostly keeping to herself. She turned down several events in NYC. Usually Halloween is a fun time for her, but this year she just wasn't feeling it. She 'was' dressed as Little Red Riding Hood though last night. This morning? She's in her sleep pants and a night-shirt. She gives a sniff of the air as she wanders in bare footed. "Morning." She says as she beelines for the coffee machine.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Hey how you doing, was sorta surprised not to see ya at Wasp's part last night. Took me to last minute but found a costume, and even was able t get Alexis to go with me to it. You want some food?

Rage has posed:
"I was invited, just didn't want to go." Andrea says as she pours a large mug of coffee, then goes about fishing out some Halloween creamer from the fridge. "How did it go? You took Alexis to a big time party. Wow. That's awesome." She says happily for him.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "Yes, Ah ran into her while Ah was out and about looking for costumes. The only real issue, she may have a bit of a hint I do the whole hero thing not." He starts cooking some scrambled eggs and toast."

Rage has posed:
"She dosen't know you're a superhero?" Andrea says with a coy grin on her face. "You took her to a huge superhero and celebrity event and she didn't catch on you maaaaay not be a country bumpkin?" She stirs some creamer into her coffee, then takes a small sip to test the temperature. "Dazzler is here by the way. She walked right through the door with her bags. I fan girled out. Like.. I had a total mental breakdown and just.. fan girled.. and she had no clue who I was."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Well was counting on the whole club owner, and friend of someone who worked for Kitty to get in, but I let it slip a bit knew thor and cap. Prob was trying to look good specially in the costume. You sure, she was not just a bit wore out and vegging some?

Rage has posed:
"I don't know. I came on over the top strong. I was babbling about how I have her wiki memorized and how I've seen like .. all her concerts. I prepared for this for three years and totally shit the bed. It was like I was a crazy fan girl, just blubbering." Andrea says as she wrinkles her nose. "She was probably tired though. Maybe she was traveling a bit to get here. But she said she wants to get lunch with me later. So that's cool. I just wish I wasn't an idiot in front of her."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie offers her a smile and says "Actually might be a bit of a good thing believe it or not. Now when the girls come up to you and and go full fan girl you can relate a bit more, and maybe will be able to put them at ease a bit more now?" He asks, starting making his breakfast sandwich.

Rage has posed:
"I love it when kids fan girl around me. It means they care. I will hug the crap out of them." Andrea grins at him. "I don't know what I was expecting though when I would meet her. Maybe I was hoping she'd be like.. oh, wow! It's Andrea Jackson! I'm a huge fan of yours too! Way to really represent the mutants." She says with a dramatic snap of her fingers. "I was also wearing a costume so maybe that's why she didn't recognize me. Usually I'm on stage with half the clothes on shaking it to dance music. Which I'm not going to be doing on my third album. No more of that Britney stuff."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Maybe also she had not thought to actually run into someone else famous here, or even thought you were someone dressed like you from that one video?

Rage has posed:
"It's not a big deal. Really though." Andrea assures as she takes another sip. "She just got here and was probably all over the place and was excited to be home. I just don't think she recognized me. Maybe we can meet up later and talk." She rocks some on her feet, swirling her coffee about in her mug. "So, did you and Alexis get to first base yet?"

Samuel Guthrie chuckles a bit and says "Now, your wanting me to start kissing and telling?" He will ask her and says "I think I maybe a bit more interested in my sandwich than talking about that." He teases a bit.

Rage has posed:
Taking another sip of her coffee, Andrea eyes him over the rim of it with an amused smirk upon her face. She ponders something, then shrugs and grins. "I'm glad you're having fun with her and I hope it works out. She is really cool. Seems normal and down to Earth." She takes a seat at a table, sipping away and puts her phone out in front of her. "Can I tell you something, Sam?"

Samuel Guthrie will put the extra food where folks can get it, gets his juice and joins her to have a seat, and says "What's on your mind?" he will ask her, as he sips his OJ

Rage has posed:
Shifting her jaw in thought, Andrea drums her fingers on the top of the table a few times with a thumpity-thump. She takes a couple seconds of thought, then takes her phone and pulls up some pictures to show him. They're of her. She's in several different outfits. Typical selfies a teenager makes. She looks happy. Big smiles. Bright eyes. Perfect make up and hair. Every shot had the best angle. "When you see me in these pictures, do I look okay?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie hmmms and says "Well you look like your trying to take pics where your happy, but to be honest looks a little forced to me, not the real you in them, a bit staged if that makes sense.

Rage has posed:
Furrowing her brows, Andrea uses her fingers to pinch and zoom in so that she can inspect them. "Okay." She says as she starts deleting them with a tap-tap-tap of her finger along the glass.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "You did not have to delete "Whats on your mind Andrea?"

Rage has posed:
"It's nothing. I didn't like them either." Andrea says as she runs a hand through her hair, tucking it back behind her ear. "I just didn't upload them yet so I wanted an opinion. I try and put some stuff out there on social media pretty often to let my fans know I'm still alive and everything is okay and I'm happy."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks to her, and says "Maybe try something a bit more real, you know a selfie that your happy to take, those looked more like photo shoot pics." He will tell her as he eats a bit,

Rage has posed:
"It's what the kids want to see. They want to see me all glamorized and put together. It's hard to do something without getting shots of the school in it. I kinda have to do it in the bathroom, or my bedroom away from a window." Andrea scrunches her face up. "I dunno." She trails off, clicking her tongue against her teeth. "Maybe I'm just feeling jitters."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie hmmms and says "You could probably be ok with some of the school in it long as it aint parts that would be specific, maybe something near the lake?

Rage has posed:
"I don't want anything that could show up on a Google Map." Andrea says as she shrugs her shoulders. "You'll be surprised what people can do these days when it comes to tracking us down. Maybe I'll just go home for a few days and spend some time taking some pictures there. I kinda miss my bed."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "Well if there is anything I can do to help ya let me know. Maybe a few pics at the club?"

Rage has posed:
"Sure, that could work. I plan on getting some shots done during my show there." Andrea says as she gives a few tugs of the ends of her hair. "Is your family excited about coming to New York to see you and Jay? You told them?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "Well, told Ma, got it all set up, she is planning on it being a surprise for them. Talking to Paige hoping she will be able t make it also."

Rage has posed:
"That's cool. How did she take it?" Andrea asks curiously as she blows her hair away from her face. "Was she happy? Surprised? She didn't freak out when you told her that I was the one hooking her up?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "Happy yea, a bit surprised, but also wondering a bit about you and Jay. Ah had to fill her in a bit on how you two were doing."

Rage has posed:
"I mean, there is nothing going on between me and Jay. He's a friend. That's it. There's literally nothing to talk about." Andrea says as she takes another sip of her coffee, a longer one as if to burn her mouth. "And that's cool. I'm not upset by the situation. I had a small crush on him for a moment, and then after I heard what happened, I squashed it real fast."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "Well at first you seemed a bit more than a small one, and honestly you seemed to bring him out of his shell somewhat as well. Oh speaking of which, I was able to let him know about Chester without him knowing you came to me."

Rage has posed:
"I was flirting, Sam. You just don't know what that looks like because girls don't flirt with you." Andrea says with her tongue sticking out at him. "Anyways, he told me I was being too over the top with it and he wasn't comfortable. So, I backed off. No more flirting or teasing. I'm just going to do my thing. I don't want to upset him when he's here for other reasons. So, I'm going to go hard to end the school year, graduate and go to college. I have stuff coming down the pipe that won't really allow time for a boyfriend."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks to her, and says "You do know I was dating a rock star while you were still working for the mouse right?" He does not seem upset though offering her a wmile

Rage has posed:
"Yes, I know you used to date a rock star. What's up with Lila Cheney anyways?" Andrea asks as she finishes her coffe, then hops up to go refill it. "Is she still making music? I haven't had a chance to look into it."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods and says "Yea, she has been doing a bit of touring on the other side of the galaxy lately, is planning on another album for earth soon.

Rage has posed:
"Well, long as her new album doesn't come out the same time mine does. I kinda wanna hit that number one spot again." Andrea says with a smirk on her face. "It's supposed to be a real banger. Going to put a lot of my emotions into it. Really dig deep into the core. Lot of it is going to be pretty painful. It's my most meaningful music yet."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "We going to get a taste of anything new while your doing your set at the club?

Rage has posed:
Nodding her head, Andrea says, "Yeah. You'll get a taste of it. I have a few songs that I will do at the start of the show, then one near the end. I have one called I'm Still Here, which is .. a song about a journey I've been on." She shifts her jaw a bit as her fingers drum along the top of the table. "I can sing a bit of it for you if you want."

Samuel Guthrie nods and finishes his sandwich and takes a sip of his juice before sitting back to listen and says "Sure, I would love to hear it."

Rage has posed:
Twirling her phone about in her hands, Andrea gives a lick of her lips, then launches her music app. As the music plays, it's a simple guitar to start with her voice, up until the chorus where the rest of the band picks up. The lyrics are deep, emotional and a bit painful as well. It's a song about recovery, building confidence, teetering on a dangerous edge.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head and lightly taps his foot with the beat, and listens "Sounds good, may I ask, how long you been working on that one?" He will ask when she is finished taking a sip of his juice.

Rage has posed:
"I wrote it when I was in Europe after Mason and I broke up again." Andrea says softly as she drums her fingers on the table a bit harder. "I was just having a bad time of it. I was missing him. I was blaming myself. I was just screaming at the shower wall with the lights off and I was losing control of my emotions." Her nose scrunches up. "And then I don't know.. I just cried all my tears out and I woke up numb and shifted. For two days I refused to shift back. I ran about the woods as a wolf. I hunted. I howled. I chased the wind. I told myself that my life was over, that I was going to just live it out as a wolf. Let 'her' have her way. So I ran and ran and ran until I was exhausted. Then, I don't know.. I was at a lake and I was staring at my reflection and .. then I just felt better. I wasn't dead. I was still here. I kept telling myself that over and over again. That I'm still here. I forced myself to shift back, took a bath and got my journal out and started writing. Rest of the album tumbled in afterwards."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks to her and listens to what is said. He will hmms and says "Interesting sounds like you and your other side were doing pretty good about being one then, you remember running and all that for those couple days?

Rage has posed:
"We were doing fine because I shut myself off and I let her have her way. I let her be free. It wasn't until she looked in the water that I saw myself looking back at me. My eyes. It woke me up." Andrea says softly as she wrings her hands together. "She was so mad at me. She's still mad at me. She screams at me all the time that I'm weak." She chews on her bottom lip. "And maybe she's right. Certain parts of my life have made me weak. Kelly Clarkson once said you have to cut the weeds to save the flowers and that is the only way that you can get sober."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks to her and hmms a bit to this and says "What all does she consider strong Andrea?" He asks as he thinks a bit on this for a moment.

Rage has posed:
"Violence." Andrea says softly into her coffee cup as she stares into it.

Samuel Guthrie hmms a bit to this and says "We need to figure out a way to convince your wild side that the thinking side is a strong side as well." He hmmms a bit in thought more.

Rage has posed:
"She is feral and untamed. That's all. She wants to rule and be Alpha. She wants to take what she wants by force if necessary. She hates being trapped in this fleshy shell." Andrea says with a sigh. "And I know she's not real, but she is just so loud in my head that it makes me feel crazy. It's why I don't like using my powers unless it's for field work. She and I are working on it though. We'll get there one day. Maybe I'll wake up and she won't be there."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie hmms and nods his head a bit to this and says "Ah was thinking if there was some way you could show you were the alpha and make her the beta in your mind then it might would fix your mind.

Rage has posed:
Letting out a loud laugh, Andrea slaps her hand on the table. "That's a good one. I would have to kick her ass or something and prove to her that I don't need to rely on her for confidence or combat. I think she has that in spades. I don't think anything short of blowing my own head off will shut her up."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks to her, and says "Well you to have combat training, think you might be able to do it we would have to train you specifically to fight yourself." He hmms and says "Wonder if we could do it in the danger room somehow.

Rage has posed:
"You saw what she did to the metal monster, right? That scares me, that I can do that to someone." Andrea says as she rubs at her elbow. "There was a point last year where I thought this was a good thing for me. Being a New Mutant. I even entertained for a bit that /maybe/ I can even be an X-Man one day, even though I kept saying I don't want to be one. I figured heroism rises to the top, right? I've been a hero. I've saved lives. But at what cost? My soul?" She squares her jaw in thought, then shakes her head. "She makes me into a monster, and if I have to be a monster to defeat her, then that's not who I want to be."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks to her and says "You can be a hero in many different ways Andrea, you do part of it with your money and resources, but also once you figure out how to merge the two parts of yourself, you can do anything you want.

Rage has posed:
"I don't even know what I'm doing anymore. I keep trying to come up with projects to help people, thinking if I can help.. " Andrea stammers out, then sucks in a deep breath as she squeezes her hands together. She takes a few seconds to compose herself as she closes her eyes. With a clear of her throat, she takes another sip of her coffee and shakes her head. "I just want to help those who can't help themselves. It's not fair that people get treated so badly."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will reach over to take her hand and squeeze it softly and says "Thats cause your a good person and want to make sure you help everyone you can.

Rage has posed:
Squeezing his hand back, he can probably feel Andrea's pulse racing beneath the surface despite her calm exterior. Her arms are goosebumped. "I'm trying my best. I really am." She says softly. ".. Do you think I'd make a good X-Man?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head and says "Yea, I think you could do a good job at anything you set your mind to. Your a strong smart person, and you care, what more could you need to excel at anything?

Rage has posed:
"I don't know what to do with my life." Andrea says with a soft sigh. "I'm graduating this year and then what? Do I float around the school? I got accepted to NYU and I'm excited by that, I think... I don't know how to be normal, Mister Guthrie. I've been under a spotlight since I was nine. Am I even supposed to go to college? How do I go to college and sit there in school learning math or something when all I can think about is /not/ sitting in a chair and learning math? I want to /do/ something. Something meaningful with my life. I don't care if I'm in the spotlight to do it, or if I'm here at the school doing it. But I just need to know that my life has some type of value and I'm not wasting it."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head, and says "Now here is the thing that is going to sound really weird, your being normal. Your at the age where you get to try things and figure out what is for you. Now I will admit you will have one hurtle a lot don't you have tons and tons of people watching you while you figure it out. Think thats the part that makes a lot of the young stars crack

Rage has posed:
"I think a lot of young stars crack because they do drugs and act like out of control morons with their money and then panic when suddenly the crowds move on to the next big thing." Andrea says as she lets out a sigh. "Because when they crack, it gives them /more/ attention, even if it's negative but at least they get to enjoy the attention more. So it becomes a cycle of toxic behavior." She rubs the back of her neck gently. "I'm not like that though. I just want to focus on maximizing my brand to the best of my ability so when that bubble pops, I won't be living a desperate life." She glances down at her phone as it dings. "Speaking of desperation, that's my agent who has been trying to get ahold of me all day. I need to go and talk to him."
