Pop/rock, CMA award for best collaboration (With the Crazy Aces), and a Grammy nomination for Best Pop album. Unbeknownst to most, he is a mutant with the ability to control sound waves.

The young man's hair is a light brown, touched with blond highlights. It's disheveled, but artfully so, a style that either took him close to an hour, or took a strong wind 15 seconds. His eyes are the rich blue green of a shallow ocean. His skin is pale, as though he spends almost no time in natural light. He has just a hint of stubble, just slightly more then would be called a 5 o'clock shadow. His lips are full, pink, almost feminine. He has a lantern like square jaw, and when he smiles or laughs deep dimples form in his cheeks.

He is skinny and narrow, stretched to perfection. He's wearing a layered look. A black t-shirt so tight it is almost painted on him. Over that a gray fleece hoodie is unzipped. Finally an olive drab army style jacket. The jacket reads ?Valentine? over the breast pocket and has a heart where the chevrons would be. Around his neck is a set of interconnecting silver and gold chains as well as a pair of dog-tags.

A pair of black cargo pants, cinched tight with a double loop belt hug his waist. They are loose enough to not be constricting, regardless of how the young man moves. On his feet are a pair of sneakers, done in a camo pattern.

History

Alex has been in the spotlight since he was very young. Appearing on the ?All New Mickey Mouse Club? on the Disney Channel at age 11, he was a crowd favorite. At age 14 he was given the staring role in the ?Be my Valentine? which ran for four seasons on the show as well, with the last episode ?One more time,? having him actually kiss his on screen girlfriend Chris for the first time. In between those two events, being part of the cult of the mouse, Alex's life was regulated and he had to maintain a squeaky clean image. For the most part, that was an easy job for the executives in the halls of Walt. Alex was a good boy. The only problem was, he was also a mutant. His power first manifested one day when his parents were fighting. About money. Again. They were screaming, calling each other names. Alex just couldn't take it any more... He yelled at them to shut up... and then silence. Silence all around them. Not just silence from his parents but silence from the street. From the tv. From the grandfather clock in the hall. Everything was suddenly just quiet.

It took a bit of trial and error to repeat the 'accident'. As he practiced he was able to alter sound in many ways. Volume was actually one of the more difficult tricks to master. He was able to alter his tone and pitch easier. It was like being able to Auto-tune himself, and frankly this made his rise to fame meteoric by any measure. He finished out his time with the House of Mouse, and almost immediately was selling Platinum albums. He's granted /allot/ of Make-a-Wish wishes since then. He's appeared on late night talk shows, and done guest appearances on sitcoms. Finally, it's rumored he will to appear as Westley in the remake of the Princess Bride, though this may just be some fangirl wish fulfilment.

Alex is an extrovert. From a very young age he was always willing to put himself out and be the center of attention, but also to shine a light on other people and make them shine as well. He is the type to pull random girls on stage and sing them love ballads. He's also granted over 100 wishes for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

PERFECT MIMIC
Part of his sonokinesis, but worthy of it's own entry, Alex can copy the voice of anyone he hears so close that the two samples are nearly identical.

PITRCH PERFECT
Alex has a natural singing voice that has nothing to do with his powers, that said due to his power he has an unnaturally large tonal range.

SONOKINESIS

Alex can manipulate sound waves, this can allow him to silence a crowd, or amplify a whisper into a ear bleeding roar. He can also turn a sound into an almost concussive force. After the sound has been manipulated by Alex, it is largely out of his control. The Same force that would allow him to flip a car at five feet would barely allow him to turn over a trash can at twenty. This is due to sounds natural desire to spread out and disperse. Similarly, Alex's powers can be affected by other powers, objects, nd effects that would hamper the movement of soundwaves.

Alex has been in front of the camera and people most of his life. Even before ALMMC he was in a TV commercial for Honey Nut Cheerios.

SINGING

Alex is, even without his powers, a gifted singer of professional quality.

ATTRACTIVE
Put simply, Alex is an extremely good looking young man. This alone has it's benefits, but more so when coupled with his celebrity status.

CARS
His first big purchase after leaving Disney, Alex drives an Aston Martin Vanquish. It's purple with metal flake paint.

FAME
While maybe not instantly recognizable to everyone, almost every person in the English speaking world has at least /heard/ of Alex Valentine.

MONEY

While still prone to outlandish purchases on occasion (like any teen with seemingly limitless cash), one of the first people Alex hired was Johnson Financial Consultation Services. It is Kimberly Johnson's job to swat his proverbial fingers and say ?No! Think about the future.?

FAME
Alex has to be extremely careful when using his gifts. He is well known to literally millions of people and a shot of him using his powers would make a paparazzi's career.

HERO COMPLEX
Alex is the type to act without much thought to his own life or personal safety to help and protect others. He once dived into a freezing river to rescue a sack of kittens someone threw over a bridge.

NOT IMMUNE

It should be noted that when Alex weaponizes his power, he himself is a vulnerable to it's effects. If he suppresses sounds he is completely devoid of audio cues. If he amplifies it to ear bleeding levels his ears still bleed.
