Profile

A half-Czarnian bastich adopted by a loving pair of hippies, Crush developed a serious temper problem after the deaths of her adopted parents. She's on a bit of a rampage, looking for purpose, passing the time by cracking skulls and picking fights.

Description:

6'3" and ready to kick ass, the girl called Crush doesn't exactly blend. Her skin's chalk-white, eyes marked with black around the eyes with sleshes of black that look to be tattooed on. Speaking of eyes, Crush's are red and without pupil, giving her a rather intimidating and bloody stare. Her hair is shaved on the sides, spiked at the top and grown a bit long down over her shoulders in the back, a sort of mohawk-mullet combo. Her canines are sharp and her black lips spread easily in a wicked grin.

She wears a leather vest over a Mushroomhead t-shirt, both sleeveless to show off the heavy musculature of her arms and shoulders. Black leather bracers, studded with spikes, run from wrist to elbow, along with fingerless gloves. Her abdomen is left a bit exposed, also rippling with obvious muscle, leading down to leather pants and treaded biker boots. A thick length of chain wraps around her body, occasionally moving of its own accord.

History:

Whatever the mysteries of Crush's conception, she arrived on Earth as a toddler, swaddled in the living chain, Obelus, who was her protector and pet. She crashed near a music festival and ended up being picked up by the Rojas, a pair of drug dealers and throwback hippies who felt like the universe had given them a child. Recognizing her as something different, they homeschooled her and tried to shelter her from the world, with limited success. She figured out she was different soon enough and got into a few scraps in the neighborhood, forcing them to move a few times when she went too far.

When she was a teenager, Xiomara (as they'd named her) confronted them about her parentage and left home to seek her place in the world. A teenage runaway, she made her way into underground and illegal superhuman cagefights, growing in skill and breaking plenty of faces along the way. She discovered she liked violence, loved it, actually. When she tried to return home to make peace with her parents, however, she discovered they had been murdered as a result of a drug deal gone wrong. Angered beyond belief, she went on a rampage, bringing justice to those who had harmed her family and finding herself an unlikely crimefighter.

Personality:

Crush maintains an aggressive, foul-tempered, fun-loving personality. She enjoys tormenting and teasing others, can generally be a bully and revels in her physical power and intimidation. She's crass and rude in every imaginable way. All of which is, of course, partly a defense mechanism, as she's been alienated her whole life from the whole world and the only people who did care about her got burned alive. She doesn't trust easily and tends to regard the world through a cynical eye. That said, if someone does earn her regard or affection, she'll be a loyal and ferocious friend.

Abilities

Enhanced Senses:
Crush has sight and scent abilities approximately ten times that of a normal human. She can scent-track individuals and recognize people through disguises by the way they smell.

Regeneration:
Above and beyond her invulnerability, Crush possesses a healing factor that helps her recover rapidly from any injuries or wounds she might sustain. Broken bones will heal in about an hour, surface cuts or wounds in a similar amount of time depending on severity. She could in theory regenerate limbs, but it would take a significant period of time, possibly weeks, depending on the size and severity of the amputation, and she would likely enter a state of suspended animation as she healed. She's immune to conventional disease and her body eliminates body toxins rapidly to give her incredible physical stamina.

Super Strength:
Crush possesses a significant degree of superhuman strength. She can cause shockwaves by punching the ground, leap up to a story in the air and knock her way through brick walls with a shoulder block. At her limits, she can lift/press about sixty tons, with the promise of getting stronger as she ages.

Toughness:

Crush has hyperdense physical tissues and resistance to injury, especially blunt force trauma. Her resistance to force attack is commensurate to her superhuman strength, around sixty tons. She can take being hit by a car or have bullets bounce off of her harmlessly. Energy or piercing attacks have a greater chance of doing her harm, but she's still pretty tough regardless.

Bilingual:
Crush can speak both English and Spanish fluently, having grown up in a Latin household.

Fighting:
Crush has made her living since leaving home on the superhuman MMA and cage fighting circuit. While she was kind of thrown in head first, she's received training in the various gyms along the way and has put together a pretty solid skill set of striking and grappling. She's not a world-class fighter, but she's strong and tough enough that it doesn't usually matter.

Intimidation:
Crush is a 6'3" albino red-eyed alien chick with lots of muscles. She's really good at scaring people and she enjoys doing it probably more than she should. She's quite adept at finding those prone to being afraid of her and using it to her advantage, like a predator finding the lame antelope in the herd.

Scrounging:

While she's doing a bit better now, Crush spent a bit of time as a homeless kid out on the road by herself. She learned how to get by, how to find sustenance and shelter, how to live on the streets. Of course, being a superhuman monster alien girl probably helped her from being victimized, but still, she learned a few tricks of the trade while she was sleeping under bridges.

Income:
Crush's income is relatively modest, a combination of fighting purses from when she's engaged in underground superhuman cagefights and some work doing bouncing and modelling now and then thanks to her unique look. None of it's too steady, but it's enough to keep her afloat for now, at least.

Obelus:

Crush arrived on Earth swaddled in fifteen feet of sentient alien chain. She calls it Obelus. While it does not speak, it will respond to her commands, acting as a protective pet. Obelus can move independently, wrapping up opponents, using its length as a whip or providing a helpful way out of a hole. The being itself is made of a techno-organic metal of extraterrestrial origin, stronger than titanium steel and extremely resistant to damage. If hurt, it could, in theory, heal over time, but it would be a slow process. If it whips or strikes, it can inflict a maximum damage of around 2 tons of damage.

Czarnian:
To those familiar with alien species, Crush is obviously a Czarnian. Czarnians have a fairly bad reputation and it may generally make other interstellar individuals react to her in a negative fashion. Given her bad attitude, she's usually not much for making peace.

Magick and Psychic:
For all her physical toughness, Crush has no training in protecting her mind or resisting magickal attacks. She's quite vulnerable to psionic attack and manipulation, as well as being enchanted or controlled by magic.

Obvious:
Crush has white skin, red eyes, black markings around those eyes and prominent canines, all in the 6'3" musclebound frame of a teenaged girl with a mohawk. She does not blend. She is obviously not human and has gotten harassed for it her whole life.

Temper:

As a Czarnian, Crush's temperament is naturally turned to being ferocious, vicious and more than a bit evil. Her upbringing taught her to be a nice person, but her anger and rage tend to override that at times. She can sometimes lose control of herself and will lash out violently if even mildly provoked. She is not good at (or even capable of) keeping her cool.
