Profile

One of (at least) five teenaged victims of either a rogue intelligence agency or group of bored plutocrats, Roxie Spaulding has gone from being a trailer trash petty criminal to...a superpowered trailer trash fugitive from a shadow agency. The more things change, the more they stay the same. She's staying with her friends and doing her best to support them with her criminal know-how, which unfortunately amounts to stealing snack-sized bags of chips from convenience stores. But hey, at least someone is bringing in some food!

GRAVITIKINETICS

Roxie's gen-active ability is to manipulate gravity. Project Genesis was terrified of the depth of her powers, theorizing she could compress gravity to the point of creating singularities, but Roxie has no idea her powers are so impressive. They take intense concentration if she wants to use them for long or for a large area; making her own tiny body fly is about the limits of what she can do comfortably for any extended period of time.

SMALL=TIME CRIMINAL Roxie's been a snatch-and-grab artist all her life. Before Project Genesis, it was for pleasure, to get nice clothes she couldn't afford and cigarettes to smoke; and she got caught a lot. Now that she's on the run, it's become a survival skill, and she's getting better at it. She'll never be a Black Cat, but she does her best to make money off the books for her friends.

She's also a much better liar than you'd expect from someone who wears her heart on her sleeve as Roxie does.

GEN13 Roxie can call on her fellow escapees from Project Genesis, with whom she lives in a crappy hotel in a crappy part of New York. They're her friends, maybe her first real ones, and she's fiercely devoted to them, even if she acts aloof sometimes.

QEELOCKE

Qeelocke is tiny, three-pound animal that looks like a cross between a cat and a monkey with green fur. Roxie discovered it clinging to her in a nightclub one evening, before she was attacked by some mutated freaks looking for it. It is also a refugee from far beyond Earth, a member of a powerful alien species that can teleport across vast distances and even across dimensions, but she doesn't know a bit of that. She just knows hims is her buddy-ful li'l friendpal, yes hims is! Oh, who's a cutie li'l Qeelocke, huh? Does hims wanna onnomnom a peanutter while Mama tickles hims's belly?

FLAT BROKE Roxie has no money. None of her team does. They scrounge a lot to get by, and don't dare look to do much better than subsist because jobs that keep records of paying their employees are a danger to people hiding from shadow government factions who have unknown resources. Roxie really does need to find someone who can make fake IDs, one of these days.

MAJOR INVESTMENT

Roxie and her friends are the product of countless years and billions of dollars of research and highly illegal experimentation by elements within the intelligence community. Not the kind of thing that just gets away without ever hearing from them again.

Roxy VS. Part Time Jobs Pt 2.	November 15th, 2019	In a second shift at Halo Burger, space-based villain Grail barges into Roxy's workplace because she is hungry. Roxanne takes advantage of Grail's intimidating looks and drags the space-babe into an impromptu smoke break. They bond, Grail encounters an impenetrable wall of slang, and Roxy attempts to teach Grail about subtlety and innuendo. It's extremely awkward, but it's a start.
ROXY VS. PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT: PART ONE	November 5th, 2019	Halo Burger is challenged by its worst employee yet! Continuity errors abound! Kitora eats the entire kitchen, Katsumi celebrities around, and Hogarth orders up some historical comfort food. Really though, Halo Burger is both bad for you and sort of offensive to a major religion. It's a miracle (ugh) that they're still in business.
