Profile
Melwyn is a Light Elf from the realm of Alfheim, land of the Light Elves. She is a pacifist and a healer, she does not believe in meeting conflict with conflict. She will not save the life of an unrepentant villain, but neither will she attempt to kill them, she leaves that to those more inclined towards violence. She roams the stars in a small ship, seeking out those who require healing. Where she will end up next she never knows, but it's the journey that matters most to her, not where it leads.

History
History:
Melwyn has always been interested in Midgard and the universe beyond Alfheim. This inquisitive nature was expected by her teachers, but it did make a few of her kin nervous. However she was not discouraged, after all she was born to be a scholar. After her initial training was complete, Melwyn was gifted a small ship designed to travel through space quickly. It has no weapons, the extra energy reserves being diverted to shields and stealth instead. Melwyn graciously accepted this gift and uses it to travel between Alfheim and Midgard, and of course to other planets if she desires. She has spent the past several centuries healing and exploring. Over time she developed a code of ethics regarding her healing. She will not heal those inclined to do evil and she will not heal someone who has recently died unless it is clear that they still have a part to play in the grand scheme of the universe's fate.
Melwyn has never taken a lover nor has she born offspring. She is dedicated to healing the sick and wounded. Her true friends are few as she has tried her best to remain neutral while off-world unless it is clear that there is a good and evil force contesting their strength against each other. She will always choose good. Otherwise she has stayed out of politics, leaving that to the councilors of her kind.
Recently Melwyn has been visiting other planets more often, spending longer periods of time away from Alfheim. And that is where he present adventures begin, her ship will take her across the galaxy in search of those who need her help!

Personality:
While she can be deceived by an evil person into healing them, she will not heal someone who refuses to change their ways. Melwyn has a pure soul and wants to see universal peace, even if such a vision is naive.
Abilities
All-Speak:
Melwyn is able to speak and understand any language of the Nine Realms and be understood by anyone she is speaking with.
Light Elf Physiology:
Melwyn's physiology is similar to dark elves and Asardians. She does not age, and as such cannot die of old age. She will look young forever. She is immune to disease, infection, and environmental extremes. Her senses are much more enhanced than the average mortal.
Light Elf Physique:
As a Light Elf, Melwyn possesses superhuman strength, speed, agility, resilience, and stamina. She is able to lift up to 6 tons, run faster than the human eye can follow, dodge bullets, and execute feats of athletics and parkour that even the most in shape human could never dream of achieving. She is capable of running for hours at a time before needing rest and is able to survive wounds and attacks that would easily kill a human, even firearms, although heavy artillery will obviously hurt her.
Magic:
Melwyn is also able to teleport anywhere on a given planet, she cannot teleport outside of whatever planet she is on.
Melwyn is also able to manipulate energy in various ways, such as telekinetically lifting/moving objects or beings up to 10 tons in weight (Her ability to manipulate energy exceeds her physical abilities), or conjuring elements such as fire, water, air, or manipulating existing elements into moving, or changing form to an extent, such as freezing or melting ice, or causing lava to harden into stone.
She is also able to shield herself with energy, able to protect herself from powerful energy blasts or powerful strikes. Because she does not use her magic to attack, she has spent a great deal of time strengthening her shielding technique. However an attack from someone as powerful as Thor or Hulk would no doubt break her shield and cause her to go flying backwards. Sustained attacks on her shield, even if they are not powerful enough to break her shield in one hit, will eventually wear her down, and she will no longer be able to keep her shield up.
Melwyn can also produce and manipulate light, allowing her to light up rooms that are completely dark, or create a bright light to temporarily blind an enemy so she can escape. Melwyn is also capable of flight and her supernatural speed is possible while flying, however this would unfortunately tire her out faster.
Melwyn can also utilize telepathy if she is communicating with someone who is open to receiving a telepathic message. She refuses to invade another's mind and has never trained to do so. She can of course readily receive telepathic messages.
Skills
Dodging:
Melwyn has never trained in offensive martial arts, however she is very skilled at dodging, using her supernatural agility and speed to avoid attacks and flee.
Herbalism:
Melwyn is skilled at herbalism and creating medicines or tonics from the plants around her. She is most familiar with the plants in Alfheim, however with research she can figure out what to use on most worlds she visits.
Knowledge:
Melwyn is well travelled and well read. She is well versed in the occult and can identify different types of magic being used. She knows about various species, especially those in the Milky Way galaxy and can usually identify them when she sees them. She is not a genius, however her intellect is above average, and she is an experienced traveler. As such she can solve many puzzles or problems with ease simply because she has encountered similar things in the past. This does not make her omniscient however, and she still comes across new experiences and challenges.

Melwyn possesses a vast library of books and she can access a database using her ships' computer if she needs to access her library while away from home.
Ship:
Melwyn owns a small ship that fits one person. It is light in design with hyperspace travel capability, and heavily shielded so that she can avoid attacks from other ships, however it possesses no weaponry. The ship is also designed to move very quickly even if not in hyperspace. It is capable of traveling throughout the galaxy but cannot travel to other galaxies due to resource requirements. She can travel back to Alfheim or to Midgard respectively depending on if she is in Midgard or Alfheim, which is the ship's only interdimensional capability. She cannot travel to any of the other nine worlds with her ship. If she somehow finds herself in one of the other nine worlds, obviously her ship can travel to Midgard or Alfheim still. She simply cannot travel to Asgard for instance or Jotunheim.

Burn Out:
Magic always has a price, even light magic. Melwyn casts magic utilizes her own life force. If she spends too much energy she will collapse into sleep before she could ever tax herself enough to the point of death. Most of her spells can be cast many times before it gets to this point, however the most powerful of her abilities, especially healing, can tax her greatly due to the amount of power required to heal limbs, cure terminal illness or mental illness, and certainly bringing someone back from the dead. Indeed bringing a single person back from the dead will cause Melwyn to pass out from exhaustion as her body is forced into recovery mode. In the case of limbs, deadly disease, or mental illness, she can usually heal multiple people before she passes out. The point is that her energy reserves are not infinite. She must eventually, or instantly, rest depending on the energy spent.
Cold Iron:
As one of the Fae, Melwyn has a weakness to cold iron. Her magic is weakened against cold iron, so she could not affect it in any way, nor can her magic heal any wound caused by cold iron, even if it is another person who has been wounded by it. If she is touched or struck with it, the metal will cause her extreme pain to the point of her doubling over. Her supernatural resilience cannot save her from a weapon created from cold iron, it would be like stabbing a mortal with a blade. No other substance affects her this way. This metal is the doom of any Fae.
Morality:
Melwyn is a pacifist and refuses to attack or kill anyone. This limits her in conflict as she will avoid damage if possible and escape at the first opportunity. This also means that threatening to harm another being will force her to surrender immediately, even if it means her own death or capture.
