Profile
The Silver Surfer was once a Herald of Galactus. He served his master well, scouring the universe for planets that the World Devourer could consume. Until that fateful day when the Surfer found himself upon a pale blue dot and met four heroes of Earth. In that moment, he rebelled against his master and his life was forever changed. In the aftermath, the Earth was spared from the hunger of Galactus. However, the Surfer was trapped on the planet and forced to spend nearly two years devoid of his one true love, the expanse of the universe and all that it holds secret. He would discover his means of escape and, escaped he did. Leaving the Earth behind to explore the universe, free of his former master's will and able to pursue his own life.

Skin of reflective silver, this monolith of a man (alien) presents with no facial, head, or body hair. His features appear as if he is completely nude, however no boy bits are showing. Fingers are fingered, toes seem to be covered. There are no garmet lines or affectations upon his form. Way easier to look at the picture or search the web for the character image.
History

50 Million years ago, Norrin Radd lived on a peaceful planet named Zenn-La that was focused on science and scientific values. However, due to this, many of its occupants were always hungry for advancement. Norrin grew up to be a scientist. Norrin also fell in love with a woman named Shala-Bal.
One day his planet was discovered by Galactus (the devourer of worlds). Threatening to consume the planet, Norrin took it upon himself to board a rocket and approach Galactus. Impressed by the strength of character and influenced by the Watcher (of Zenn-La), Galactus listened to the offer of Norrin. To become a herald of the world devourer and search the stars for consumable planets that Galactus himself would not have to. Galactus then imbued Norrin with the Power Cosmic and named him the Silver Surfer. Leaving Zenn-La behind, the Surfer would serve his master by searching out planets with life to sustain the needs of Galactus. Countless civilizations were consumed and or displaced. This wore on the Surfer's conscience. He felt guilt and would search for planets that were less populated. Over time, the Surfer would realize that the planets did not have to have thriving life. Instead, planets that had the potential for life would suffice. This would become the Surfer's method for many years to come. Galactus discovered the ploy and confronted the Surfer on the topic. Seeing that his herald had developed a conscience, Galactus rearranged the Surfer's engrams to make the herald less compassionate. This would then lead to the Surfer seeking out planets with large biological quantities, regardless of civilizations or not. This would continue for many more countless years.
One day, the Surfer discovered a thriving planet several light years away. He sensed the life it offered and decided to approach. As he entered the solar system, he visually sensed the planet was ablaze and inhospitable. But still sensed life within it. This was a ploy by the Watcher (of Earth) to try and dissuade the Surfer from summoning Galactus. Confused, the Surfer descended into the atmosphere and discovered that the flame was an illusion. He continued surveying the planet and decided to summon Galactus for dinner.
While flying around the planet, the Surfer was confronted by a walking orange rock. And a fight broke out. Joining the fight, an invisible girl, a guy that was covered in flame, and some stretchy super-brain of a man. During the fight, the Surfer was handling all of them until he came across a blind woman whom seemed to get into his head. She cleared out all the cobwebs and conscience blocking aspects of his personality. This stopped the fight and brought the Surfer to realize he wasn't the monster that Galactus had made him into. But it was seemingly too late.
The Devourer of Worlds had arrived during the fight and was preparing to consume Earth. Joining up with the four heroes, the Surfer faced his master and with the help of the Watcher (of Earth), they were able to convince Galactus not to eat the planet (!nom,!nom,!nom). Galactus was however quite upset and he would punish his herald. Binding the Surfer to the Earth, of which he so loved, and through the use of the power cosmic, prevented the Surfer from ever flying in space again.
Trapped on Earth, the Surfer would face many challenges, even join a hero team to help fight evil and stuff. His biggest opposition was Dr Doom who was able to steal the Power Cosmic from the Surfer. In the end, the heroes would prevail, and the Surfer would gain his power back. Through an accident, the Surfer found that he could leave the shield around the Earth if he traveled without his board. This allowed him to move into space and escape his prison. He then created another board and fled into the vastness of space where he would have many more adventures.

The Surfer is a fair and noble being; One who would give up his own life to save his planet. He respects and takes compassion with all life and would rather not kill, or even feels horrid if something is accidently killed directly or indirectly by his hand. In this, he has significant guilt for all the life that was lost during his time with Galactus. The Surfer is brilliant and quite inquisitive, always wishing to learn and discover new things. This propels him through the universe seeking out new adventures and new opportunities.

BIOPHYSICAL CONTROL
Akin to regeneration, the Surfer has the ability to manipulate organic life. In this he can speed up the evolution and diversification of a species, he can rearrange the genetic makeup to control the evolutionary traits. He cannot raise the dead, however, he can heal critical wounds while the organism still lives.
BLAST POWER
The Surfer can absorb and tap into ambient cosmic energy within his body (and without) at will. Thus allowing him to utilize these energies at different levels and qualities. Through this, the Surfer can channel any of these energies (including the raw Power Cosmic) through his hands to create energy beams which can destroy vast amounts of matter. (kept vague for game sake, no one wants to read that he can destroy cities, continents, moons, or planets)
ENERGY ABSORPTION
The Surfer's skin is designed to absorb various forms of energy - from beta particles, to light, and other energies within the EM spectrum (, cosmic rays, stellar energy, etc). He is constantly being charged from nearby stars and energies of distant galaxies. He can alter this absorption into reflection if he so chooses. He can also absorb energy attacks from like energies, reflect them, redirect them and rearrange them. He has absorbed so much energy from the sun, he turned into a living bomb. This is not advised.
ENERGY MANIPULATION
The server can use energy (EM spectrum) to create force fields, force walls, and shields. He can solidify energy to entangle or imprison enemies. He can manipulate those energies around him to facilitate space travel for beings around him that cannot survive in space and he can also control gravity.
FLIGHT
The Surfer travels through a planet's atmosphere as easily as he does through space. He can maneuver at extremely high speeds. He has also demonstrated the ability to fly without his board. Just not as fast. Gravity does not seem to have an effect on him when he does not will it to be so.
IMMORTALITY
The Surfer is essentially immortal in that he will not die of old age. His regenerative qualities coupled with the nourishment of energy from the universe, prevents him from suffering aging effects. However, when the last star has burned out and the universe has entered its cold death, he too will die.
INVULNERABILITY
The Surfer's silver skin is nearly impossible to penetrate, capable of withstanding extreme pressures and temperatures. He can travel through the core of a star and even through black holes without injury or disorientation. He has also been able to withstand punches from She-Hulk without any damage or pain as well as punches from the likes of the Hulk or Thor moderately well. The skin is less likely to be damage through blunt or edged trauma. What is more vulnerable is solid strikes to the head like that of Mjolnir or punches from that of the Super-Family. MATTER CONTROL
The Surfer can rearrange matter to create objects by rarranging molecules. He can also change the state of matter (solid to liquid, liquid to gas, gast to solid, etc). This power allows him to escape solid bounds, walls, or even render other objects (weapons, vehicles, armor) inoperable. Turning weapons into flowers.
PHASING
The Surfer has the ability to phase through soid objects though not turn completely intangible. This is done through his use of matter manipulation on solid walls or traveling through portals. Essentially, rearranging the matter of the target to allow the molecules to pass between his own or even open a hole in the object and pass through ony to close the hole behind him.
REGENERATION
The Surfer can regrow/regenerate parts of himself and his board with the Power Cosmic, at will. This also applies to healing/regenerating other being's tissues. He cannot restore endurance through this in others and only a percentage of his own endurance when tapping into the power cosmic.
STAMINA
The Surfer does not eat, breathe, excrete, or drink. He can survive in any natural condition or environment. He rarely needs rest when operating normally and can go on for years without tiring. In super battles or utilizing his powers at exceptional levels, he will need to spend time to recover the energy he expended.
SUPER SENSES
The Surfer has incredible hearing. He is totally aware of his entire surroundings down to the molecule. He has a cosmic awareness to a certain level, knowing a person's location when nearby or able to detect weakness in targets. He is also able to sense life hundreds of light years away. This allowed him to locate planets for Galactus to consume. The sense life power does not allow him to target single forms, it's more galactic in nature.
SUPER SIGHT
The Surfer is able to see for hundreds of light years and down to the molecular level. This makes him one of the best trackers in the universe and able to trace a grain of sand in a quasar to picking up any type of energy signature and following it for countless light years. This assisted him in finding viable planets for his former master to consume.
SUPER SPEED
The Surfer's board allows him to move at unimaginable speeds. In this, he is able to exceed light speed (see flight) or enter hyperspace/subspace. He can also move as fast as a normal superhuman, but not like a speedster on his own accord. His reflexes are also super fast, based on being on his board vs off and scaled respectively.
SUPER STRENGTH
Normally the Surfer operates at and around the ability to lift 50 tons. However, if he wills it through the focus of the Power Cosmic, he is able to match the strength of Thor, Thanos, and even Beta Ray Bill or that of the normal operating strength of the Hulk. However, enraged Hulk is still far stronger than the Surfer.
TELEKINESIS
The Surfer has the ability to move objects with the power of his mind utilizing the Power Cosmic. Normally he does this with his surf board. But on occasion, done so on other objects. He can lift around 50 tons with this ability. Brainwaves!
TELEPATHY
The Surfer has shown the ability to read minds and often needs to make a conscious effort not to. He prefers to speak rather than read thoughts. He is also resistant to highly powerful telepaths.

CODE VS KILLING
The Surfer has a strong code vs killing. He will not kill. He abhors the taking of life and he will do all in his power to preserve life, even if it is an enemy. Life is precious to him and he will suffer great remorse and depression if he is responsible for its loss. (I hate to even list this trait since it's a very flakey player disadvantage.)
ENDURANCE
The Surfer has an unearthly endurance. That being said, he can still tire. If he utilizes his power at full strength for a week, he will need to rest and recover for another week after that. He can recover faster if he were within a star. When he is recovering, he cannot perform any great feats or power usage. Also at this time, he is more vulnerable to attacks, drains, entangles, and psychic stuff.
ENEMIES
The Surfer is feared and hated across the cosmos for what he did when he was a herald of Galactus and even now as one of the more powerful beings of the universe. The Surfer has also made enemies of people whom he has fought and defeated (IE: Thanos, The Skrulls, Supreme Intelligence/Kree, the Shi'ar Imperial Guard, etc...). Other races, other heralds, other entities. Countless in number. Even the Elders of the Universe wish to extinguish him and capture his power.
MAGIC
The Surfer is vulnerable to magical effects just like most anyone else. If the magic is elemental in nature, he will resist it just as if it were normal elemental attacks. However, dimensional and personal magic will have the same effect without his resistances as if he were any other normal target.
MAGNETISM
Magnetic controllers such as Magneto or Polaris will be able to use the metallic skin of the Surfer against him. He will be completely weak to attacks that exceed his strength. For example, if he is operating at normal strength of 50 ton lift, then any magnetic control below that would not be able to force his fist into his own face. Anything above that, would.
POWER COSMIC DRAIN
As with any being that requires power to sustain itself, the Surfer is vulnerable to power draining attacks that overcome his own power control. He's lost his powers due to a mechanism a really smart evolutionary sort of guy that was elevated or another villain of the original four once employed that specifically drained the Power Cosmic from his form. Another means to be effective would be to shield his ability from being able to absorb other energy by placing him into a negative force field preventing the energy from reaching him. This will gradually starve and weaken him until death.
SLEEP
The Surfer does not run out of energy when operating normally. However, like any living being, he requires sleep every so many days to maintain a stable mental state. If he is deprived of sleep over a 7 day period, he will become unable to focus. His power control will become erratic and likely fail.
ZENN-LA
When the Surfer turned on Galactus, the world eater took it upon himself to consume Zenn-La. Though it was millions of years ago (time is funky when traveling at faster than light speed) that Norrin Radd left his home planet, he still misses his people and his former love, Shalla-Bal. Many of those people were able to escape the nom-nom-nom, and they hold it against the Surfer for the act. That he betrayed his people. The Surfer has a strong code vs killing. He will not kill. He abhors the taking of life and he will do all in his power to preserve life, even if it is an enemy. Life is precious to him and he will suffer great remorse and depression if he is responsible for its loss. (I hate to even list this trait since it's a very flakey player disadvantage.)
ENDURANCE
The Surfer has an unearthly endurance. That being said, he can still tire. If he utilizes his power at full strength for a week, he will need to rest and recover for another week after that. He can recover faster if he were within a star. When he is recovering, he cannot perform any great feats or power usage. Also at this time, he is more vulnerable to attacks, drains, entangles, and psychic stuff.
ENEMIES
The Surfer is feared and hated across the cosmos for what he did when he was a herald of Galactus and even now as one of the more powerful beings of the universe. The Surfer has also made enemies of people whom he has fought and defeated (IE: Thanos, The Skrulls, Supreme Intelligence/Kree, the Shi'ar Imperial Guard, etc...). Other races, other heralds, other entities. Countless in number. Even the Elders of the Universe wish to extinguish him and capture his power.
MAGIC
The Surfer is vulnerable to magical effects just like most anyone else. If the magic is elemental in nature, he will resist it just as if it were normal elemental attacks. However, dimensional and personal magic will have the same effect without his resistances as if he were any other normal target.
MAGNETISM
Magnetic controllers such as Magneto or Polaris will be able to use the metallic skin of the Surfer against him. He will be completely weak to attacks that exceed his strength. For example, if he is operating at normal strength of 50 ton lift, then any magnetic control below that would not be able to force his fist into his own face. Anything above that, would.
POWER COSMIC DRAIN
As with any being that requires power to sustain itself, the Surfer is vulnerable to power draining attacks that overcome his own power control. He's lost his powers due to a mechanism a really smart evolutionary sort of guy that was elevated or another villain of the original four once employed that specifically drained the Power Cosmic from his form. Another means to be effective would be to shield his ability from being able to absorb other energy by placing him into a negative force field preventing the energy from reaching him. This will gradually starve and weaken him until death.
SLEEP
The Surfer does not run out of energy when operating normally. However, like any living being, he requires sleep every so many days to maintain a stable mental state. If he is deprived of sleep over a 7 day period, he will become unable to focus. His power control will become erratic and likely fail.
ZENN-LA
When the Surfer turned on Galactus, the world eater took it upon himself to consume Zenn-La. Though it was millions of years ago (time is funky when traveling at faster than light speed) that Norrin Radd left his home planet, he still misses his people and his former love, Shalla-Bal. Many of those people were able to escape the nom-nom-nom, and they hold it against the Surfer for the act. That he betrayed his people.
