Profile

The supposed daughter of Belasco, a one time ruler of Limbo. She has lost her memory of the time when she acted as a demon with the power to challenge Goddess and attacked her team. As long as her memories are lost to her she is merely a powerful sorcerer, her true demonic nature locked away.

Description:

Standing at five foot two, this woman promises to be fiery. Red hair hangs around her shoulders, a length braided and worn across the top of her head. Two small horns could be visible should her braid be moved. White eyes sit in a heart shaped face with an upturned nose and full lips. Her figure is curvy, a fact she accentuates with her clothes. A corset exaggerates her hourglass shape over a deep red, low cut dress that slits up the leg. Knee high boots and a belt slings across her hips likely to hold her wands. Over all this is a dark red coat with bell sleeves and a deep hood.

History

History:

Ananym is the daughter of Belasco. Her father is an evil sorcerer who formally ruled Limbo, and currently she has no memory of him or that place. She was recruited to Gamma Flight during the absence of Alpha Flight and served Canada on itâs national team. When Alpha Flight returned the two teams allied against an enemy and Gamma Flight was disbanded. She stayed with Alpha Flight following the end of Gamma Flight.
Witchfire was assigned to both Alpha Flight's trainee program and their Gamma Flight supernatural support. She trained in different forms of magic and meditation to suppress her inner demon. Over the course of her work with the team sustained several serious brain injuries, one even culminating in brain surgery.
When her father sought to use her to oppose the Goddess her ultimate form was released. She began spying on her former teammates in Alpha Flight under control of the Goddess, sometimes teleporting across the solar system. She nearly killed Alpha Flight several times and eventually was restored to her human form with no memory of her demonic acts. Alpha, Beta, and Gamma Flight were disbanded and Ananym left to find her place in the world.

Personality:

Ananym is someone who strives for calm. There is a rage deep in her soul, a fire that can bubble to the surface and drive her to do harsh things. She is inquisitive and cautious, her memories missing means she is never quite sure where she's been or who she's met.

Abilities

Agamotto's Light:
A soothing light to the victim of physical control, those controlling the target of the spell suffer great pain until they release the target.

Concussive Blasts:
With her wand she can generate powerful concussive blasts. She can also send blasts that enter a persons mouth frying their brain by merely using her hand.

Demon Army:
In her ultimate form, she can all forth an army of demons to follow her commands. (Plot Approval power)

Electrical Blasts:
In her ultimate form, Witchfire can generate an electric field.(Plot Approval Power)

Healing Factor:
Ananym heals a little faster. In her ultimate form her healing is accelerated to almost instantaneous levels.

Magical Constructs:
Witchfire can call forth magical constructs that can be used for variety of uses including light monsters, a giant hand to immobilize things, or shields for physical and magical damage.

Magical Prisons:
In her ultimate form she can create a magical prison and kill itâs occupants with minimal effort.(Plot Approval Power)

Magical Senses:
Witchfire innate senses allow her to detect and identify all forms of mystical energy near her, at quieter moments she can attune these to sense non-mystical forces such as emotions or life energies. She has been shown to understand how these energies are being used and for what purpose and can track spells or objects back to it's source. With her senses she can scan for life as well.

Magical Telekinesis:
In her ultimate form, Witchfire has a high level of telekinesis.(Plot Approval Power)

Pyrokinesis:
Witchfire has the natural affinity for flame control, but generally avoids using these spells as they may awake uncomfortable elements of her lost past.

Telepathy:
Witchfire has a high level of telepathy. She unconsciously shielded herself and her teammates from the Skaâr. In her ultimate form, her telepathy is amplified.

Teleportation:
Witchfire can cast teleportation spells in her true form she manifests incredible abilities. The full extent of this power has yet to be revealed, but she's managed to teleport across the solar system from Earth to Paradise Omega with startling ease.(Plot Approval Power)

Transformation:
If Witchfire remembers her dark heritage, such as knowing her father is Belasco and following the Dark Ones she transforms into her ultimate form granting her unreal level of magic. In this form Witchfire believed she could even defeat the Goddess. Her father wanted to use her so he could become the supreme being in the multiverse.(Plot Approval Power)

Water Summon:

She can perform a spell that creates a large wall of water, what other purposes it can also be used for is not yet known.

Witchfire has a collection of magic wands she uses to amplify or give more control over her casting.

Magical Training:

Witchfire uses various magics, beyond her own innate abilities and has been trained by Shaman in sympathetic magic and in magics drawing on extradimensional beings such as Agamotto and Hezaba.

Amnesia:
If Ananym remember who she truly is, the magic suppressing her demon form lifts. Recalling her past is a hazard to her and others.

Everyone Gets An Evil Dad:
Whether he truly is or not, Belasco claims to be her father and has manipulated that tie in the past to his advantage-unleashing her demonic form.

Public Enemy:

Having formally done some wicked deeds there may be heroes in the business who are slow to trust Witchfire, or harbor dislike for the deeds sheâs done.
