Cast of Characters: Juggernaut, Molly Millions, Carmen Sandiego, 1048, Hellboy

Juggernaut has posed:
A special someone has tipped Cain Marko off to the very real possibility that something of personal interest to him is being kept in a secure bank vault just beyond the edges of Bryant Park. A certain crystal of a certain crimson hue that had fallen into the possession of one collector of the unusual and supernatural, without them even realizing what they may or may not have. It was just a rumor. A bit of gossip. A whisper about something of value in the hands of one who doesn't understand its vaule and at first Marko dismissed it off hand. But..what if--

Needless to say it's enough to eventually get him on the move. And so, today.

Seismiometers across the city begin going off. Heavy *TOOMS* resound through the area. People stumble. Cars screech to a halt, windows crack and then suddenly Juggernaut appears, charging across Bryant Park towards one of the modern buildings just beyond. A thundering, "Juggernaut coming through!!!" the only verbal warning he gives before he crashes through a set of trees and thunders past scattering park goers leaving growing chasms and massive footprints in his wake.

Molly Millions has posed:
It's the chaos that draws Molly. She'd been trying to retrace her steps... but one set of trees and grass looks much the same as another, to her. Her puzzled reverie broken by the reverbration of the ground, and noise.. that noise! She might be out of the way of being physically scattered, but she still can't help but stop and watch, dumbfounded, at the hurtling Juggernaut's passage.

Carmen Sandiego has posed:
Where In The World Is Carm--oh wait, there she is. At Starbucks.

Look, even a world-famous supercriminal sometimes needs a tall mocha with non-fat milk, okay? Not every moment is glamor and glitz.

She sits at one of the little tables, sipping her drink and watching the park. The pleasant bustle of the city, the fluffly clouds, the happy birds, the way the ground shakes as a giant man-meat-mountain goes thundering by.

A little bit of her coffee spills as everything shakes. Carmen frowns, though unlike most of the others nearby she fails to panic.

Chloe Taylor (1048) has posed:
"What the...." Gianna actually stops herself from cursing as Juggernaut barrels his way up the street. "And there is a red........yikes....running up the street." She seems to be talking to herself.

behind Juggernaut, however, another 'Gianna' appears, but blonde. "Yeesh. Talk about fat, he's leaving potholes in the street." She then yells. "DUDE! I THINK THE STREEET WOULD THANK YOU IF YOU MISSED A MEAL! OR FIVE!"

The original Gianna watches as Juggernaut barrels past. "Well. This is going to take a bit of ingenuity....."

Hellboy has posed:
It's getting close to the witching hour, something Hellboy knows without having to look at a watch. Here in Bryant Park, the supernatural agent is just keeping an appointment he always tries to, a chess match against one deceased Harold Klements. Sitting on a park bench with his massive right stone hand draped over the metal frame, his smaller left hand was holding a cigarette even as he stared intently at the board, watching closely to make sure the silver spectre across from him didn't try to cheat again. Of course, he wasn't truly concentrating because he was focused on the seismic quakes, his eyes narrowing more and more at every single one. When the impossible frame of the Juggernaut finally appeared, barreling along toward a destination only he knew about, that's when one of Hell's own royalty closed his eyes and shook his head in frustration.

"God...dammit. Harold, don't touch the board, I gotta go keep an eye on this. I took your queen, I'm gonna remember that!"

The see-through silver head of Harold, rested on that table, only gave a wry grin while greedily sucking in air he couldn't use, his best attempt at a laugh. HB didn't feel much like laughing though, as he rose to his feet and started jogging along behind the huge armored powerhouse. He wasn't exactly hiding, with his hooves loudly trotting along the pavement, the tools of his belt jostling with every clop.

"Hey, buddy. You tryna catch the bus or somethin'?"

Molly Millions has posed:
"That's the biggest damned joeboy I've seen in my life." Molly's words, and uttered quietly for herself. That people are running is of a concern and merits it's own due consideration as to self preservation but then there's... a guy. A red guy. With hooves. And a tail and a huge stone hand and not for the first time she gives her temple a couple of taps like that might somehow make the world make sense again, mouth opening and then closing before finally she grunts,"Okay... you got me." and starts to amble in the wake of the men without particular haste.

Juggernaut has posed:
Marble steps sunder under Juggernaut's weight and the pressure of his footfalls which continue setting car alarms off city blocks away from the seismic disturbances. He looms just infront of the the private bank/safehouse of peculiar items and weird wealth and reaches out infront of him..diggings his massive hands into the front of the building.

"Cute insult. Get your eyes checked lady, I'm all muscle." He responds, finally, to Gianna and then just flexes his arms and back, said muscles bulking out in monolithic proportions as he spreads his arms wide, literally parting the entire front of the structure with the same ease someone else might open a curtain. Stone and glass rain down as the building shudders and is sunders in twain - opened like the proverbial can to the crimson goliath almost shrug like effort.

He then turns, looking over Hellboy as well. "What is this? You the local good guys or something?"

Carmen Sandiego has posed:
Hm. Interesting. Carmen calmly finishes off her mocha, leaving the empty cup on the table.

While all eyes are probably on The Juggernaut and his literal ripping of a building open like it was a Cracker Jack box, Carmen's certainly not subtle either. Of course, a woman in bright red who's not running away in this madness is probably notable. Even if all she's doing at the moment is watching - and meandering out of the Starbucks and vaguely towards the brewing conflict.

She's in no rush, after all. Though she IS curious about just what's got the Juggernaut out here today. He might just be robbing a random bank, but maybe there's something more interesting going on behind things?

Of course, it's also always worthwhile to take in the sights of the local heroic population too. You never know when you're going to need to know things.

Hellboy has posed:
This looked like it might become 'Big Red Guy versus Big Red Guy', though HB already has a feeling that this might be a bit beyond his usual scope. Briefly his left hand slipped to a pouch on his belt, finding a small wireless device and pressing a button. He had no idea if anyone at SHIELD or the Bureau would get get the alarm immediately, but at the very least they were contacted, and would get here in time to scrape his carcass off the sidewalk. Or the crater of a sidewalk, judging by the Cainprints Marko left in his wake.

But until and unless help arrived, HB was going to act alone and act immediately. As Juggernaut causes a shower of broken glass and debris, the demon clops forward even as he moved his head down to avoid any of that shower getting in his eyes. Reaching up that massive stone hand, he reached it forward to try and place it on the avatar of Cyttorak's shoulder even as he spoke. He knew he was going to regret this, he knew what came next would most likely hurt bad. But he couldn't not do it.

"Hey, come on. It's a nice night, everyone's dressed up all pretty, do you really wanna ruin it by smashing up everyone's architecture like that?"

Chloe Taylor (1048) has posed:
And Gianna somehow steps into view from.....behind Hellboy. "Yeah, Listen tot he big red guy, butterball." She then blinks as the shower of glass and morter starts. "Well then." And *VORP* and she's out of the way of the shower of glass and morter, with two more of her.....stepping up next to each other.

"That doesn't look like a fair match-up." Red says. "Yeah, the bigger guy can sit on the smaller guy." Says blonde.

Molly Millions has posed:
Something must be off in the system, because Molly can't... track, where the blond... brunette... that one, there is moving... and it bugs her. She can't help the frown as she slides past someone sensibly running in the other direction and prowls closer towards the chaos as she tries to gauge just what's going on and whether or not she should get involved.

Juggernaut has posed:
At close to ten feet tall, Juggernaut's shoulder isn't easy to reach, but Hellboy's not exactly lacking in the arm size department. Juggernaut eyes that huge stone hand and then blinks as he sees Gianna step into view, seemingly out of nowhere, just behind Hellboy. "Oi.." he rumbles deeply. As of yet Carmen and Molly do not have his attention and as instead he focuses on the two right before him. He then grins, full toothed. I's not a friendly looking one.

"You guys are nice! But I got places to go and things to do and don't plan to be around here that long.." As he speaks his massive right fist clenches and he raises his arm overhead casting Hellboy in deep shadow. His bicep flexes,, bulking up to the size of a small car as he rumbles, " So Imma just hit you here as hard as the weight of a falling oil tanker and be on my way.."

And with that his massive fist drops down, barreling towards Hellboy with such force that the very air pressure of his movement rocks the area.

Carmen Sandiego has posed:
"Quite the brute, isn't he."

The Lady in Red slides up alongside Molly as both watch from a bit back. Carmen fails to note if she's talking about the Juggernaut or Hellboy, of course. "Going to step in there, hm?"

She pauses momentarily, grabbing hold to make sure the wind of that swing doesn't remove her wide hat. "If you're going to, this would probably be the time. While he's otherwise occupied."

Devil's advocate? Instigator? Not as such - but what better way for Carmen to figure out who's on who's side here? She, meanwhile, makes no move to help or hinder any of the three already in the scrum.

Hellboy has posed:
It all seemed to happen in slow motion, as Juggernaut raised his fist, HB stepped backwards instinctively even as his mouth gaped open in disbelief. The lit cig in his mouth fell out and fluttered to the concrete below even as Hellboy raised his own massive stone hand in defense. As he turned his head away, he spotted Gianna behind him and instantly reached out with his left hand, trying to push her away suddenly and violently even as he yelled out.

"Get outta here, GET OUTA-"

He was interrupted from this heroic act by a massive fist causing the air around the demon to suddenly violently expand outward, the only warning to the impact that followed. Juggernaut might find that the right hand of a dead god is made of toughter stuff than most, and as such was probably nigh unbreakable, but that didn't mean much for the rest of the body it was attached to. HB was sideways in a huge crater in the ground, though tellingly, he would attempt to claw and crawl his way back to his feet, toward the armored man. HB tried to ignore the birdies flying around his head, even as he instinctively spat out the blood that was filling up in his mouth.

This was not a good night for Hellboy.

Molly Millions has posed:
Molly Millions's silver lenses cant towards Carmen,"If you've got the yuen, anything's possible I guess." she grunts nonchalantly to the woman in red. There's a slow and toothy smile in response to the question,"What, are you the money, then? Right now, no-one's paying me to put my neck on the line.. but if you want to change that..." the sentence goes unfinished because, well, yes, crater, and the woman in black has the sense to recognize she doesn't want to wind up on the wrong side of that fist. She wets her lips and eyes Juggernaut,"Impressive... not going to lie. But, well, yeh." she's keeping an eye on Hellboy, not that it's easy to tell with the silver lenses covering her eyes, concerned, perhaps... even if she seems content to try and haggle with Carmen.

Chloe Taylor (1048) has posed:
The blast of air makes Gianna slide backwards.....thankfully she was out of range of the actual blow. And two more appear next to Gianna.

It's like she's multiplying on thoughts of what to do. Until the strawberry blonde one snaps her fingers. "I've got it!" *VORP* "Ah crap." The red head one says and four start to run to find cover.

The Strawberry blonde appears right behind Juggernaut. "Time to be -REALLY ANNOYING-." She then grabs Juggernaut's helmet, still attached to him, and teleports him away from the building.

And about 100 yards into the air, upside down, over a nearby intersection. "Yup, this'll do." *VORP*

The only problem is....now Juggernaut's in freefall.

Annoyance HO!

Juggernaut has posed:
"Hey! Not bad!" rumbles Juggernaut in surprise as he considers the feeling of slaming his fist against The Hand of Doom and also see's Hellboy still quite capable of moving around. "That would have flattened most tough guys. I'll have to hit you harder this time..." He starts striding forward. Ground violently rocking and shadow ominously spreading over Hellboy. And then, there's Gianna. "What.." he manages to say before he suddenly finds himself in the sky above the streets of Manhattan. "The hell!!?"

A free falling Juggernaut might -look- comical from a distance but the reality is that it's also quite dangerous fpr ..well..everyone else. A guy that causes seismic readings to go off across the city when he wlks is going to impact like a meteor..and that's exactly what happens. A loud *KTOOOM* occurs.

Cars flip and go flying, windows burst. Buildings sway and Juggernaut forms a huge widening crater in the middle of the road after having fallen into and through through the trailer of a massive semi truck.

Carmen Sandiego has posed:
Carmen actually laughs at Molly's pitch. "Mercenary, I see. Well. Always a need for those." A gloved hand reaches into her coat - and then produces a business card. It's a nice glossy black with red lettering, happily declaring:

CARMEN SANDIEGO
CEO, Villian's International League of Evil

And under that several forms of contact.

"I may have use for your services some time. Do drop a resume and your HENCH user name with my assistant." Carmen adjusts her hat, watching Juggernaut get teleported away. And into the air. She braces for the impact - and certainly feels it! "I would not be with him, for reference. Merely the competition."

And now that Juggernaut's away from the entrance of the building and everyone's paying attention to him? Carmen makes a brisk jog for the now quite wide-open bank. She might as well investigate and see if whatever Juggernaut's after is worth her time.

Hellboy has posed:
Finally, the red demon managed to pull himself out of the makeshift pit Juggernaut smacked him into, a little woozy on his hooves but remarkably healthy considering what he just went through. All around them were the sounds of pandamonium, sirens wailing and people running for their lives. Though Hellboy wasn't aware of it, perched atop a building was a black bird with a half-dead frog in its beak, both of them watching the bringer of the end as they spoke in a silent tongue that transcended communication.

Meanwhile, HB looked over at Gianna(one of them, anyway) even as his left hand reached down to pull that oversized revolver out of its holster, cocking back the hammer even as he staggered closer toward the spot Juggernaut last landed.

"Listen, that guy ain't gonna stop. He gets any closer, you should get outta here, try and get some of these people away from this psycho while you're at it."

He didn't volunteer to leave himself, did he somehow think he could survive the armored man's rampage any more than any of the pedestrians here? That he couldn't be beaten into a coma or worse, even considering his supernatural gifts? Or did he just have a serious martyrdom fetish? It was difficult to say.

Molly Millions has posed:
Molly Millions gives a slight shrug of her shoulders, a spade's a spade in her book. The concept of a business card, however... that's puzzling. She accepts the square of cardboard from the other woman and looks down at it with a furrow of her brows. Surely someone's pulling her leg. The consequence is she misses the teleport, not looking until Carmen draws her attention back and can only manage a,"What the f..." before the impact jostles the ground she's on. She's got the reflexes to pull her head out of the way of some of the concrete shrapnel but still can only blink as Carmen goes trotting off, opening and closing her mouth as she pockets the card,"This has got to be a simstim... some lunatics crazy idea of a joke. A three meter tall guy and some Japanese oni and the League of International Evil? I'm in a sim." with this resolved in her mind, a scowl writ on her lips she actually decides to stalk in the direction of Hellboy.

Chloe Taylor (1048) has posed:
"I know." Gianna Red says. "he seems like someone that is used to getting his way. And I'd rather keep you in one piece too, but it looks like you're going to have to fend him off while I evacuate the area. Or, at least...make sure people are moving away." She then blinks once and nods. "Yup. They're on their way out of here. Hmmmm......If you could distract him, I could find a good place to drop him in the ocean."

Juggernaut has posed:
So the place Juggernaut was after appears to be some sort of private safe deposit firm. One with considerable security and likely who knows what held within its vaults as to look at the place it probably caters to a particular breed of clientele in terms of finances and holdings. The main vault door itself is particularly massive as it dominates the far wall behind the main counters but by and large the whole place has been evacuated of what civilians were present when Juggernaut began his approach. Police are probably well enroute at this point but private security types are likely lurking about and doing whatever procedures are common to lock the place down in this sort of event..

"Now you've gone and made me mad.." rumbles Juggernaut as he slowly rises from the rubble strewn crater and begins to ascend its slopes to pull himself back up to the streets. "I just wanted what was mine and you all just -had- to get in my way.." He is not amused...

He may be some ways away from the bank but it is not out of his reach. A loud groan of metal occurs as he reaches under the semi truck he crashed into. "Beat it." He rumbles to the driver who had exited the truck and was thankfully allright. The driver..wisely does so as Juggernaut hauls the remains of the vehicle overhead. Forty or so tons haul up into the air as Juggernaut twists at the waist..and then literally shot puts it into the air in a wide arc towards the building, going for splash damage now.

Carmen Sandiego has posed:
At a brisk trot, Carmen turns around and jogs in reverse for a moment. "Villian's International League of Evil," she loudly corrects Molly. Darn it, she's got a good acronym, she's gonna use it! This probably does not help her stealth, of course.

She actually makes it most of the way to the building when... oh dear. That's a truck. Even with her background, giant supermen hurling trucks in your general direction is the sort of thing that makes you pause. Carmen's eyes momentarily widen under her hat before she wisely goes full evasion.

Going for cover would be too easy, though. (And perhaps a bit dicey, because who knows what that truck's carrying!) Instead she uses one of the tricks literally up her sleeve and quickly fires a grappling hook to an adjacent building. A moment later, and as the truck lands? Carmen Sandiego has the opportunity to do the Batman, silhouetted like a bright red gargoyle on the side of a tall New York City building.

Hellboy has posed:
Trenchcoat dirty and torn in places, a bit of dust and smoot covering the crimson red form of the bulky do-gooder demon, Hellboy felt a lot better than he looked. Which was good, because soon there was a massive semi-missile launched into the air, and coming down for his general vicinity. Yellow glowing eyes widening in surprise for only a fraction of a second before HB sneered and quickly dodged the possible catastrophe by running forward and ducking his head. He didn't stop running even when he heard the impossibly loud crashing impact behind him, instead he just aimed that oversized weapon of his and squeezed off two shots, both of them aimed at the center mass of the avatar of a selfish god. The girl needed a distraction? Yeah, he could do that.

"Awright, that's it pal! I'm officially tired a'yer crap!"

As he spoke he was launching himself into the air, those two shots just practical distractions compared to the real attempt: A running, jumping superman punch, the Hand of Doom aimed right for the domed, helmeted face of the Juggernaut. Hellboy didn't have a lot of options here, and this was one of his few. He just hoped it did...anything.

Molly Millions has posed:
Molly's determined that it's all just some fakery. Stuff like this.. doesn't exist in her world, so she's most of the way towards the red guy with the tail with little more than a flick of her fingers for acknowledgment of Carmen's correction when the flying truck passes overhead and some lizard part of her hind brain starts shrieking that no, that's most definitely a truck, and it is most definitely going to hurt if it hits her. It's fortunate for her that she's a little more than human, because she decides that now would be a good time to sprint and find something concrete to dive behind, muttering to herself,"Sim. It's got to be a sim. Right? Right. Pull it together Molly. Either way seems like they're just going to up the stakes until the problems dealt with." she pulls her fletchette pistol out from its underarm holster, flicking it up to full and aiming from over the top of her chosen hiding place as she continues to mutter to herself under her breath.

Chloe Taylor (1048) has posed:
Gianna winced as the truck hit the building, but she was somewhat busy evacuating people.....not something you do every day. thankfully, Hellboy was up to the task.......she hoped.

Juggernaut has posed:
The earth shaes, metal screeches and compresses in ways I twas never meant to contort, and the truck goes flattening g into and through another pair of outer walls for the safe house. He didn't hit anyone - thankfully - but it's clear Juggernaut's getting destruction on the mind.

"I just want what's mine! Get out of my way or I'll flatten you!"

Powrful firearm fire causes him to turn in its direction and he frowns upon seeing the incoming Hellboy. "You aint learnt your lesson y et, shrimp?" he rumbles an instant before the Right Hand of Doom connects with a solid *KTAAAANG*. The loud impact clangs and echoes almost comically . Juggernaut..barely blinks, but yes his attention locks down onto Hellboy now.

Carmen Sandiego has posed:
Well now, that's quite a mess. Carmen's got a good overview of things now, thanks to her higher vantage point. That truck's done quite a number on the building. Fortunately, not the people. That would be a shame.

Hm. Carmen can't really be seen here associating with the likes of the Juggernaut. A mindless, graceless thug like him? He'd ruin her reputation! Obvously, steps must be taken. She could just walk away, but that wouldn't help her reputation along, now would it?

Still hanging to the side of the building, Carmen taps her phone to call one of her henchmen. "Eartha Brute. It's Carmen. Tell me what you know about the Juggernaut, he seems your type. Has he had something of his taken lately?"

One of Carmen Sandiego's greatest strengths now comes into play: the massive network of experts known as VILE. A vast array of niche sources that know all sorts of trivia from around the world. And a little smile crosses her lips.

From her perch above, Carmen's voice booms with the aid of a portable loudspeaker. (She really does have all the fun toys.) "Why thank you, you handsome devil. I always knew I could count on a fellow lover of red to be such a wonderful distraction." Carmen blows a kiss town at Hellboy. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have something to take to a buyer in Luxembourg."

Laughing, Carmen holds out her free hand - with a bright red crystal in it. Closer inspection would probably show the shape's not really right. Even more close inspection would likely reveal that it's a holographic projection from another of Carmen's many gadgets. But at this range, she holds up what appears to be a large bright red gem. And smiles as VILE's blimp arrives.

Hellboy has posed:
For his part, Hellboy didn't let up. The Right Hand of Doom was an ancient thing, older than the living creature currently using it. It felt no pain and suffered no stress from the task of bludgeoning this immovable, completely impervious thug and criminal. The same could not be said for Hellboy himself, starting to sweat and breathe a little heavier from the laborious task of throwing punch after punch after punch at the mass of the Juggernaut. Soon he stepped backward, swaying with his fists up like a boxer that's gone 12 rounds, his revoler long since reholstered. Idly he rolled the wrist of his right hand and stretched out the fingers a little, and a deep rumbling sound like the opening of a sarcophogus filled the air.

"Can't...can't let you do this. Can't let you...hurt these people. Can't let-...what?"

His last question aimed up at the heavens, as he turned around open-mouthed to stare at the red-coated woman, with what looked like a big giant ruby in her hand. His right 'brow' raising at the sight, the completely distracted bruiser slowly turned back to regard Cain Marko, his guard completely down at the most inopportune moment. This just wasn't his lucky night.

Molly Millions has posed:
Twenty fletchettes per second; in Molly's world the pepperbox muzzle of her pistol has saved her life more than once. But she's not in Chiba anymore, and it really hasn't sunk in to her that for a person of Juggernaut's density that they're liable to have about as much effect as a swarm of hornets... potentially not even. But she's got to try something, right?

Chloe Taylor (1048) has posed:
*VORP* "HIIIEEE!!!" *Vorp* That quick Gianna pops in, grabs Juggernaut and ports out with him in tow.

right over the ocean.

"Enjoy your bath?" *VORP* and she pops right back out......

Juggernaut has posed:
"You idiot!" snarls Juggernaut at Hellboy as he raises a huge fist overhead, knuckles popping and cracking with a sound like that of sequoia tree trunks splintering, "I just came here to collect something that's mine! I wasn't - going- to hurt anybody. You wanna be heroes pushed this fight this far and now I'm going to finish it! But because I'm so nice..I'll pull my punches"

*BOOOM!!!!* r
His massive fist hurtles down thundering into Hellboy with similar force as before. The entire area shakes violently. He follows that up with another thunderous strike, swinging his other fist upward. *KATOOOOOM* then *THOOOM* then *BOOOOM* again. The ground cracks beneath them both, sinking inward. This is Juggernaut pulling his punches.

Two distractions save the day. Molly's efforts ripple up and down his huge hairy arms and he blances at them and then up to track their origin. Then Carmen. Oh Carmen. Juggernaut's eyes widen.

"That's MINE! You don't know what you're dealing with!" The huge hand that had been holding Hellboy shoves him aside and Juggernaut thunders out of the crater and -leaps- right for the building Carmen is on.

Yes, even Juggernaut has some ups. He's no Hulk, but he's leapt at giants before. Carmen's not out of the woods yet.

Carmen Sandiego has posed:
....Oh dear. Okay, Carmen was not anticipating that much height. She has a brief moment of once more going wide-eyed as a Juggernaut missile comes flying right at her. She WAS going to just zipline up to the blimp and leave laughing, but now this is... not. Yeah, this is bad. She hadn't prepared for this.

'Pocketing' the stone, Carmen does the one thing she can think of in this situation - she drops. Letting go of the grappling line, she falls from the building, anticipating that Juggy can't change direction mid-air. Well, hoping that he can't. If he can, this is going to get exceptionally painful.

She falls - two stories from the ground, her billowing trenchcoat flies open. The hidden jetpack there deploys, wings snapping out and rockets roaring to change her trajectory. Now is no longer the time for witty banter. Now is the time for going very very fast. Because Carmen has realized just how much she's underestimated how much the Juggernaut wants that stone. Even if she doesn't really have it.

Hellboy has posed:
If one were to be a moron, and attempt to make orange juice by putting sapient oranges capable of making decisions in a bag and smashing that bag against a brick wall until both arms were completely numb, not a single one of those oranges would choose to trade places with Hellboy right now. The bright red crimson of his skin was mixed with the darker red of his blood, and the second Cain Marko let him go, he collapsed to the ground without a single word of complaint. Until today Hellboy would have never compared a asphalt and debris to a goosefeather pillow, but that was before he knew what Juggernaut's fists felt like.

Soon, pained eyelids droop like curtains falling, and Hellboy felt the Endless Sandman's calling. Fin.

Juggernaut has posed:
Juggernaut impacts into the building with his usual fanfare. Nope he cannot change trajectory. He was basically a freight train in the air with a rocket attached to it. He vanishes into the side of the building which itself shudders violently ..and then has the entire side come crashing down.

A plume of dust and debris billows up, obscuring the area..but no Juggernaut emerges. Surely this didn't take him down.

Indeed it didn't..Search and clean up will reveal a massive tunnel dug into the earth leading away from the area. He's a new quarry in mind now. Carmen Sandiego. To bad it'll be long before he realizes his item is still here, tucked away in the vault he never got to.
