Back in the Blue

Location:	The Blue Lady, Fort Joseph
Synopsis:	Buffy meets Barbara again at the Blue Lady.

Buffy Summers has posed:
A couple days have passed since the last time Buffy had encountered the mysterious Batgirl outside the club. She's returned to the blue Lady again, mostly because this is where she works and (at least part time) lives. She's in uniform again as she does her usual rounds throughout the perimeter and checks on things in the club too, dressed in her dapper black suit and tie and crisp white shirt. Fortunately her shift is soon coming to an end, and it's been a fairly event-free night. Let's hope it stays that way!

Oracle has posed:
Babs is back in her dress and saunters in. Like...well...she fits in here. She does, oddly enough as Barbara slides into a chair looking for a certain blonde slayer. Buffy,. Where's she at anyway? Babs needs to catch up with her. Mostly since Barbara spent the time post-club researching. Nothing concretee, just rumors and whispers in the wind, really....Babs didn't get a whole lot of slid proof.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers passes through the crowds of people, keeping an eye on everything and nods into her receiver. "All clear here, I'm gonna take a 15." and with that, she glances around the room again and spies a familiar redhead. With a smile, she strides towards her, nodding, "Hey there, Barbara, how's it going? Came back for more did you?" she grins.

Oracle has posed:
"Came back to talk to you" Babs says looking serious for a moment.

She's well aware of the fight in the alley, true...but she's not saying a word any. Nope. She is back for more.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers arches a brow, sliding into the seat across from her. "Oh yeah? What's up, how can I help you?" she smiles, not yet putting two and two together. As far as Buffy is concerned, Barbara is totally unrelated to Batgirl in the alley.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp comes walking into the club. He stubs out his cigar with a sigh as he comes walking in. He then heads towards the bar to get a drink climbing up on the stool.

Oracle has posed:
"Oh, I was gonna..." she starts and sniffs the cigar as it's stubbed out. "Okay okay. I was gonnna ask something, but..." Babs begins with a shrug. "I was wondering if you wanted any help with classes?" she assks. Acs icebreekers go? Average, Babs. Average...

Still though. Still....Babs falls quiet looking for the source of the cigar. Great. Sprinklers are in here right?

"At least you're not offering a screw against the wall" Babs quips. What was with that guy anyhow. C'mon, is he like that with everyone?"

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp looks over to the two women knowing at least one of them, he will offer a nod to them before ordering a higher class whiskey. He thanks the bartender and tips for the drink.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp sips his whiskey listening tot he music. The monkey will pay to have the drinks keep coming and turns to check out the musicians and their music.

Oracle has posed:
Monkeys. Whiskey. Jazz. Babs is pretty sure she's off in cuckoo land. Again. Not enough sleep for her evidently. Now if vampires hadn't crashed the party...

Babs would be well away. See. See. Babs sips her soda and looks over to the chimp. "So what's up?" she asks lazily.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp looks over and says "Not much, had to come in and have a chat with your dad, and thought have a drink after." The chimp knows her dad, and knows she is her dad's daughter, how is this is he a magic monkey?"

Oracle has posed:
Babs looks dubious. "Do I want to know what you two talked about?" she asks warily sipping her soda more looking over to Buffy then to Chimp. "So, what took you to my Dad's door huh?" she asks already knowing the answer. Score one for Oracle digging.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp looks to her, and says "Working on a case where someone is shipping in endangered animals for a food club. Looks like Penguin may have something to do with it, or at least some of his connections so figured go talk to the professionals and all." He says figuring the Commish's daughter is ok to talk to.

Oracle has posed:
That's all Babs needs to Oracle her way through this. "Ah, so...." Babs muses. "How can I help?" she adds and looks....a little worried and shakes her head. "So what's my Dad doing, getting GCPD on it?" she asks looking thoughtful. Oh there's a lot Babs can do as Oracle...there's so much she can do...

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp looks over to her, and says"Appreciate the offer but I think ya dad might be upset I get his little girl into something. If you know anything about any exotic vets or anything like that would appreciate the info

Oracle has posed:
Babs doesn't need to be asked twice. Not in the leasdt. Hey, if Chimp wants, expect info. Oracle does what Oracle does. For a very good reason.

"Uh....did you try the zoo?" Babs offers looking over them all. She could get going now and settle in finding things. Or....

Yeah, time to finish her soda and get home, and settle in to hr Internet alter ego.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp does not know she is the Oracle, to him she is just the kid he saw a pic of on Gordon's desk. " He nods, a bit and says "Yea, they gave me a few leads, seems with some of the villains who call Gotham home there are more back room vets than in most places.

Oracle has posed:
"Right" Babs nods and gets up. "I gotta get home though and rest up"

Nice lie, Babs. See. Babs really means go home, Oracle the hell out of Gotham, and send Chimp what she finds.
