Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Sunday evenings are typically not the busiest time for university campuses. While Hot Joe's Coffee Shop is not on the campus directly, a sizable chunk of their clientelle come from there leading to there actually being tables available this evening.

With the lighting that focuses more on the tables than the chairs, it does allow for a bit of privacy, in a way. But regardless the New York factor of the meet up have shown up early, securing a corner table which cuts down on the foot traffic considerably.

Nick is already seated, having traded away his Sunday attire for his knit capped usual and his morning coffee is now substituted out with an evening tea. However the tags hanging out from under the lid indicates that the tea is still seeping and not quite ready yet.

Duncan MacLeod has posed:
     Duncan arrives not long after Nick. He walks into the cafe and gives it a once over. It's not that he's paranoid or anything, but a few hundred years will do that to people.

     When he notes Nick's presence he moves towards where he is and offers,"Sorry. I had a last minute purchase that took longer than planned." He really does look like he hates to be late.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers has maybe visited this coffee shop a couple of times, and while she's still out on spring break, she does enjoy this little corner. She also invited Willow to join her as they haven't spent enough quality time together lately. She smiles as she pulls open the door for her BFF, peering around, "Mmm, I haven't had a good cup of coffee in a while, although I could go fir something a bit cold with all this hot weather rolling in..."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow grins, "How do you go all day without any caffeine? Oooh! I bet they get good donuts." And being that is so late, they are half-price! "Come on, my treat."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Nick glances up as Duncan apologizes, "No worries. I'm just very early. I tend to overestimate travel time to offset unforseen delays. It works...well, some of the time."

The motion coming from the main door to the coffee house draws his attention, causing for him to glance over to see both Buffy and Willow. "Looks like we won't have to wait long." He waves an arm in greeting to the female duo.

Duncan MacLeod has posed:
     There is a nod, then he starts to take a seat. When notes the arrival of the others he looks back towards the door. Seeing the two young ladies he pauses and doesn't sit just yet. Sometimes his old fashioned shows through and tonight seems to be one of those times.

     Since he isn't sitting just yet he tells Nick,"I have met one of them before. Granted it was briefly and we were waiting to get a coffee order." The universe really does move in a circle it seems.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers smirks and shrugs, "Figured I'd try not to get so wired while not studying. I'm pretty scary when I'm hyper at the best of times!" she grins and she steps up to the desk and orders an iced Frappuccino. "Hmmm, so, I guess Nick and Duncan should be here soon.."or are they here now? she does spy two familiar faces and smiles and waves to Nick and Duncan, whom she met once briefly before. "Hey you two, what's up?" she quips, coming over once their orders are ready.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow sees Nick, and waves. "Hi! Can I sit with youuuuu.. oh. Hello." Ah yes, Duncan. Only, Buffy knows, leaving Willow out in the cold. "I'll get the coffee. Anyone else want a donut?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Nick, who was here to begin with and already seated, remains seated. Not as old fashioned. Also, standing up when already seated in a college coffee shop is kind of weird.

"Doing good." He answers the blonde, not sure which one is the one the other guy met so, he introduces both.

"Duncan, meet Buffy and Willow" Nick states, indicating to the highlander which is which with an open hand, "Buffy would be the one I think you could talk shop with. Willow is a friend of ours and is talented in other subjects."

"Buffy and Willow, meet Duncan. He helped me out when I ran into some old acquaintances as well as giving me a few lessons."

He waves to the available seats, "Come sit!"

Duncan MacLeod has posed:
     He looks between to two of them and Duncan nods polite,"Nice to see you again." he tells Buffy first. His attention moves to Willow and offers a smile and a polite nod,"A pleasure to meet you Willow." He indicates the chairs as well, waiting for the ladies to have a seat first.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers smirks at Duncan and nods, "Likewise. So you two have been training together? That's cool. And looks like you've already met Willow." she grins, pulling out a chair for Willow before settling in herself. "So you guys come here often? I'm not a big coffee drinker but I couldn't resist."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow blinks. "Uhh.. You know I met Nick?" Duncan, well, he's polite, but a stranger. "You do mean Nick, don't you?" She takes across from Nick so that Buffy can check Duncan out.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Not often being I live in New York." Nick admits, tugging a couple napkins from the dispenser and setting it on the table, "But I do have some ties to the Gotham area so its not the first time I've been here. But it seemed like a good spot to meet. Halfway between your area and mine."

Dtermining that the tea has seeped long enough, he lifts off the lid, allowing for a plume of steam to escape while he sets the lid upon the napkin, leaving enough space available for the tea bag. Grabbing the string he tugs it out, allowing for water to drip from the filtered bag back into the cup before he relocates the stringed vessel to rest upon paper.

He glances up, watching as Buffy excuses herself while grabbing her phone. Well, this isn't quite what he expected.

He looks over to Willow, "Looks like I'll be walking you home tonight." He pauses for a moment, "Oh, Duncan also deals in antiques and is a bit of a history buff too." He THINKS Willow's more of the STEM type, but hey, maybe History was in there as well.

Duncan MacLeod has posed:
     A nod to Buffy as she departs and once Willow is stead Duncan takes a seat finally. He hot tea Nick ordered for him earlier finally gets his attention for a moment,"Antiques and collectables." he agrees,"There have been a few new pieces I have here." He laughs softly,"And yes, I know a little about history too."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Well, actually, I don't know much about history. " Willow gives a sheepish nod. "Stuff that we need for Buffy, or, you know.. Sorry."
