Now What
Date of Scene: 21 June 2020
Location: Meadow Outside the City
Synopsis: The team gets together and meets their next member. Or ally. Well he'll help in some way hopefully! They still have to find a clubhouse. Notes are compared.
Cast of Characters: Supergirl, Willow Rosenberg, SpyderByte, Zach Daniels, Red Robin

Supergirl has posed:
The call went out. The Young Junior Titanic League of Justice were to meet. Or whatever they were going to call themselves. It was still up in the air.

Supergirl had sent out message to them all she wanted to have a big meet and greet. There were two potential members that were given an invite as well. Hopefully they would show.

The location was a nice wooded area outside the city limits but close enough to the various cities. Anyone that didn't have a ride, Supergirl-Taxi was available for transport!

The area was a lovely field with trees surrounding. The air was comfortable without being too hot or too cold. There were several blankets with baskets setup near the treeline, allowing for people to be in the shade or out. Inside the baskets were picnic fixing. There were also a variety of bags from fast food options. Taco Bell seemed to have a high level of reprentation as did Chinese food going by the sheer number of potstickers. There were even some pizzas. Way more food and beverage than the number of people attending might ever eat.

She'd over planned.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow had brought chocolate chips cookies. She was quite proud of them. The only things she baked without charring! She put the tin for everyone to help themselves, stealing one for herself. "Hi! Who are we looking at today?"

SpyderByte has posed:
Having hitched a ride with Super Girl is Jeremy. No one has seen him before until now. He's a lanky teenager in a large, overly sized black hoodie with the hood pulled up over his head. The rest of his clothing is black as well. Long chains hang off his jeans and he is wearing a dog collar around his throat.

He is settled against a tree, his shoulder rubbed up against it and a large, level three backpack at his feet with several padlocks to keep it secure. He is holding a phone in his hand. At times, he glances about, though he rarely peeks out from under his hood. He hopes there are no wolves out here. For... reasons.

At the sound of Willow's voice, he peeks out towards her.

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach's brought....not much, mostly just store bought chocolate which he sets down too, wings under his jacket that's zipped up as he gives Willow a smile, then settles back on the grass. See he's calm, and relaxed.

Just couldn't afford much more than store bought chocolate bars mind, though with his baseball cap off, he shakes out his hair and smiles more.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake brought one of the old school motorcycles, and a version of his outfit with little tech and what is there is currently off with no power going to it. He wanted to get a look at things without a specific techno path letting others know he was here.
He learned to sit and watch from the Big Bad Batman, and today he uses those skills on possible new allies, yea he learned that from Bruce too. He will watch them for a moment, seeing who all is here and if Supergirl seems to be legit from previous meetings and reports. Upon seeing Willow a brow will raise, he has met the young witch briefly in the past.
He will drop down silent to al but maybe Kara, and walk out from the shadowed tree line "Beacon had some things she had to attend to, she will try to make it, if not I can take word back to her."

Supergirl has posed:
"Thanks, everyone. I appreciate you showing up. Hopefully two potential recruits for our group will show up and join us." She settles down on one of the blankets, legs tucked to the side a bit under her. Got to be discreet when wearing a skirt after all.

There is that bit of sound that Supergirl can pick up when Tim lands on the ground. She doesn't panic, freak out, anything. Instead, she finishes digging through and finds one of those little white folded boxes filled with potstickers. Another little cup is pulled out with sauce, lid set asid.

As Tim approaches, she glances his way and lifts a potstickers with her chopsticks in a sort of wave. "Thanks for coming. We have food. Lots of food! Relax, as much as you can. I know that isn't really a thing for you Bat types. Everyone, this is Red Robin. One of the protectors of Gotham. I'll let you all introduce yourselves if you want."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow smiles at Jeremy. She knows Zach, and the other one is way too confident . Which means Jeremy. "Hi. We meet." Zach also earns himself a smile, "Chocolate! Oooh. May I?" She sits and behaves, which isn't hard. Yet.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake will take the food and nod his head. He is silent now, watching waiting for the others to introduce themselves.

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach waves a wing and is focused on a new, exciting food. It's not pizza, pastries or berries so....he's ddeliberately careful with chopsticks too and taking it slwly and careful before introducing himself. Chopsticks in his lap, Zach smiles, "Hey, I'm Zach, you're Red Robin" he says. he learned that from what Supergirl just told them all.

SpyderByte has posed:
The Goth looking kid lets out a soft breath at the sight of Red Robin. Of course, Tim wouldn't recognize him, seeing how he was just a small, digital message the first couple of times.

"H.. H.. ell.. o. I-I-I. A-Aaaahm...S-S-Spu-Spuh..d-derrrr...Bite."

His voice has a monotone stutter to it as if he was having a difficult time forming the words. He leans in against the tree a bit closer, as if trying to tuck his way into its shadow.

Red Robin has posed:
Tim Drake nods to the group and starts to eat a bit, taking the first bite and not tasting any of the poisons he has been trained to recognize."I am willing to listen but I will warn you my time is split already between a few places, but if your needing help I am willing to try to help and listen to you. Beacon maybe more avaliable regularly than I." And with that he will sit back and listen and observe them, nodding to each as they introduce themselves.

Supergirl has posed:
"Alright. This is Willow," Supergirl waves a hand over to the redhead. "And I'm Supergirl. Though I figure the outfit probably gives that way. Or maybe I could just be someone dressed up but I did fly SpyderByte out here so he can vouch I'm the real thing!" She puts down the container with the potstickers to continue.

Her attention goes to Red Robin since he's the newcomer. "We're putting together a team. To train to someday be ready for the big teams like the Justice League or Avengers and stuff. Not that we aren't already powerful and heroes, in our own right and ways, but we are kind of teaming up because we feel we need to learn more. To train more. Just to better ourselves. That's what it is all about."

She looks back to the others. "We still have a lot to figure out. We are getting more people but we need to find someplace for a base of operations. Start getting stuff so we can work out, train. Probably a big warehouse or something but, I don't know about anyone here, not sure I can afford to buy one. Anyone got ideas? I mean there are abandoned places. We could maybe use them but that's kind of trespassing right?"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Hey, anyone mind if he writes it out? You got speakers or something, right?" No biggie, right? Then she frowns. "Gee, I don't have a super name. Drat. I just I'm just Willow." Pout.

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach raises a hand, "I've seen several empty ones while flying, but I've also seen abandoned apartments, businessses, you name it, abandoned" he offers. "Any one of those could work. I found an old factory that has a roof, busted windows and a lot of space inside peering through the windows" he nods and loos to them all. "I'm all ears for finding us a place mind"

SpyderByte has posed:
"It's n-nnn-ot sss-t-eeaaling if y-y-oou.. n-eeeeed it." Jeremy says in his stammering type of way. Obviously, the computer pirate would think that way.

"I-I-I.. d-don't n-n-eeeed..a..buh-baaase.. of op-p-p-errr-a-a-aaa.." There is frustration upon his voice as he tries to speak. "Operations!" The last word is yelled out, sliding his hands up into his hood to clutch at the side of his heads.

"I-I-I..wuh..rrrrk .. reee-reeee-" He sighs out. "Reee.. mote."

Supergirl has posed:
"It's trespassing at least. Or something." Supergirl bites her bottom lip a moment then shrugs. First to Willow. "You don't have to have a superhero name. There are plenty of heroes that don't have dual identities. it isn't a requirement. I mean Zach is Zach." She waves a hand to the angel then glances over at Jeremy.

She has met him in person several times so she is used to how he speaks. It's just part of who he is. "You will be the one helping us eith tech. Although we probably won't need tech at the base of operations since you can use other computers and things. So it needs to be a location that is easy to get to. Not a lot of people around to be peeking in the windows. Workout stuff for those that want it. I guess magic stuff for Willow to have there. What else?"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
If he doesn't, Willow will give him her cellphone, "Just for now." She shrugs. "Everybody has something. My friend is trapped into the body of a rat. My fault." Willow makes a face. "That didn't make sense. I just meant we all have things. That's all." She shuts up.

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach returns the wave, "Roof access for me to take off and land if we need to get in or outta there quickly" he offers. "Somewhere to call home, I think. yeah I got my dirt cheap apartment but it's not exactly a home. More somewhere I just happen to sleep. Oh I got a phone, at least soo" he adds going back to using the chopsticks. Why waste good food after all?
F"I mean, when I think a base for us I think we've got somewhere the bad guys won't see us coming" Zach adds. "Well, besides me, since people don't like looking up. I've a few very dead vampires to prove that point" he shrugs.

SpyderByte has posed:
When he is handed the phone, the body of Jeremy slumps a bit. Embarrassed. "Ss.. Ssooorrry..." He stammers out as he shrinks a bit more into his large hoodie.

He holds up his own phone, his hands now a bit nervously trembling as he slides the ringer to on. He focuses for a few moments on the device before his text to voice comes out in a British Woman's voice. He may have liked her voice better than Siri.

"I hope that this is better. Perhaps you can contact the city of Metropolis and see if the city is willing to donate a warehouse location on behalf of the local government. In return, we can aid the local law enforcement as a sign of good faith."

Supergirl has posed:
"That might be an idea but then they might think they have the right to tell us what to do," Supergirl muses as she digs back into the potstickers. She frowns a little as the phone is being used instead of Jeremy talking.

"You don't have to use that if you don't want to, Spyder. Just sayin'."

Then back to the conversation at hand. "I'll touch base with some heroes I know though Alpha Flight. Some of them might be able to help donate a building for us to use. Or the Justice League. Rather than owing a government. We'll still help the police but they can't say we owe them that way."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Don't worry about it. You should here me go out on a tangent for magic. Everyone gets this look. Or math, or computer science.." Willow shrugs. "Would you be embarrassed if you were blind and or in a wheelchair? You're different. Big deal." But she listens to others. "What? Something we can use?" Jeremy has a good point. "That might work!"

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach ruffles his wings and nods. "You're you, we all got our quirks though" he nods and looks quietly over them all again, chopsticks pauused in mid air. "We all got our quirks but, we all accept each other" Zach adds, stretching his legs out with a nod. "Don't worry about being different with us, we're all not the same" Zach adds. Words spoken he goes back to eating food and the clack of chopsticks is again heard as Zach's cautiously getting the hang of said chopsticks.

SpyderByte has posed:
The form of Jeremy continues to melt into his hoodie the more everyone talks about his impairment. So much for trying to feel normal and fitting in. The phone's British female's voice continues to speak for him.

"It's fine. If this makes everyone more comfortable, I will use it."

His brows furrow at the current topic as he tries to figure out what may be their best path to obtaining a base of operations. "I will be in school most of the day, so I will be able to assist from there. I have access to a lot of technology there, so I won't necessarily need to be with the rest of you. As long as you have a mobile device, I can contact you and vice versa. Maybe speak to Superman to see if he will allow the team to utilize his resources with the Justice League."

Supergirl has posed:
For her part, Supergirl just continues on as though the conversation didn't get distracted. "Figured you would have the tech available to you there. You have everything at your fingertips all the time anyway," she says with a grin to Jeremy.

Then back to the others. "Might be a way to go. I don't know that they'll want us traipsing in and out of the Watchtower though. We'll see."

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow frowns. "This isn't what makes us feel better. Give me the phone." She holds her hand out. "I thought it would help *you* feel better. Not the other way around. Fine, you need time, you get time. I'm sorry. I mistook the answer. Never be afraid afraid of telling me no, after all, we're on the same team." She smiles.

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach grins and sets chopsticks down. "I've got tech and wings, so" he asks, watching them with a quiet smile as he's listening quietly, he's pointedly not paying attention to Jeremy, not out of being rude but, but....he's not wanting to step into that one.

SpyderByte has posed:
Handing her phone back to Willow, Jeremy continues to hold on to his own. It's an updated model. Sleek, made of glass and metal. The British voice continues to speak for him.

"It's fine. Really. Let's move on from this."

Giving a glance over to Kara, Jeremy tugs his hood a bit tighter over his head, hiding his eyes with only a shock of black hair peeking out from it.

Supergirl has posed:
"Well, everyone eat up then. I don't want this food to go to waste. I'll get with Superman and Alpha Flight. See what they might want to do to help us. Once I get some info, I'll reach out to all of you and we'll go to phase two. Whatever that is."

She picks up her potstickers again and grins. "And keep thinking on a good name."
