Synopsis: Megan finds out how her audition went
Cast of Characters: Phantasm (Drago), Pixie

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
As with most attempts to get a job interview, there are some hurdles to jump through. For Megan, who wanted something to do with music, that was a series of audtions and interview questions and a period of waiting in the lounge area while those listening in on the audition talked. Now, she's invited up to the office.

The office itself is pretty simple. While the furniture is of good quality, the pieces appear to be chosen based off of need. There is a desk, some chairs, and a rather comfy looking futon set up against the wall. It seems that the session musicians are not the only ones who have crashed in the building overnight. The desk is also pretty sparse. A laptop locked to the desk, a notepad, a pen cup, a newspaper and a single framed photo showing Wade and Nick with two men of similar age smiling with an older looking man backstage somewhere. The members of Silver Round, and a manager.

A blonde man, in his early 30s sporting a square jaw line steps into the office, leaving the door open as he walks behind the desk. His attire is far from formal as he's wearing a pair a of nice jeans and a designer tee. Definitely of higher quality than Nick purchases, but also very much casual.

He turns, still standing behind the desk as he awaits Megan to follow in, gesturing over to the futon on the other side of the office. He drops a folder onto his desk. "Please come in, make yourelf comfortable."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn is pretty anxious during this whole interview process, and it doesn't help that they is more than one person in the interview panel, but clearly that means they only choose the best quality contenders...That should be a good thing, right?

She bites her lip, settling in front of the desk as she patiently follows them in. At least Megan knows Nick and that makes things a bit easier. She smiles and nods to him, and the others as they arrive, straightening in her chair.

"Thanks! Sooo...Where do we start?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
The others swing by, dropping off their folders and leaving the office with quiet nods. Soon it's just Wade and Megan.

Wade sits down behind the desk. Leaving plenty of space between the two before opening up the folders to look to the contents inside. He glances up. "Would you like something to drink? Maybe a water?"

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn bites her lip. Ahhh it's just this Wade guy, but..That should be better than four people Right? And at least the worst is over..Hopefully no more surprises! "Right! A glass of water would be nice, thanks! Soo uh..How'd I do?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
At the confirmation, Wade gives a nod, pushing back on his chair to spin around to pull out a bottle of water before rolling back. Shifting to his feet to lean forward, extending the bottle neck first towards Megan. "There you go."

He descends back into the chair. looking back to the papers before him, lining them up. "So, Megan. First off, thank you for coming to audition with us. Those listenining in have provided some feedback on their notes and we'll be giving you a copy of the notes for you to look through if you desire."

He glances down to the paperwork. "I understand that you're just starting college?"

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn nodnods, smiling and taking the bottle. All the singing has made her quite thirsty and thus water tastes sooo good. "Thanks!" she settles down in her chair, nodding again, "Yes, that's right, but I'm currently studying part time because I needed to earn a living as I've left home, so to speak. But I'm an extra hard worker and very dedicated to my music!"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Mmmhmm." Wade nods, folding his hands on his desk as he gives the younger musician a smile. "What are you majoring in?"

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn bites her lip, "Ummmm well...I took a lot of music courses in highschool, but my college doesn't teach music performance." she shrugs, "Its still first year so I'm deciding on a major, but I'm taking mostly courses in music history and kinesiology and dance, since dancing is my second great love and seems to go well with a career in music, naturally!"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Mmmhmm." He lifts up a hand, tapping upon his chin in thought for a few moments before he turns, pulling open a drawer, tugging out a small grouping of business cards clipped together. Tugging off one, he sets it down upon the written assessments. "Megan, you do have a good voice. There's no question of that. But, even good voices can be even better." He taps the card. "This person has worked with a few of our clients to help increase their potential in range and technique. She does private lessons at ESU. I would recommend her."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn nods slowly. "Huh...I suppose that's right.." she sighs, "Well it's definitely been hard to find a good music tutor after having finished highschool, but..Thanks! I'll check this out! I know I'm not like, Andrea Jackson or Dazzler level, but I think I have a lot of potential. Just need to find a good starting ground, you know?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Wade's brows rise before he shakes his head, giving a chuckle. "Oh don't get me wrong. We're not turning you down. You do have a lot of potential. We're working on giving you a leg up." He holds the card up. "Also, If you do end up using her, you might bump into a few familiar looking faces."

He sets the card back down before grabbing a paperclip and the pink layers on the back of the written assessments. "Now for the boring stuff."

He turns once more, reaching into another drawer to pull out a stapled together questionaire. "This assessment will give us an idea to the types of gigs you'd be interested in working or are best suited for as well as your general availability."

He pulls out another stack, "And this is the basics..."

There's a lot of paperwork.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn breathes a sigh of relief. Well that's good..Right? She smiles faintly and nods, looking through all the paperwork. "Oh. Wow..You want me to fill it all out here, or brung it back anither time?" she nods again, "Well, thanks for considering me, I promise I won't let you down!"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"You can bringing back at a later point." Wade replies, "You can have someone else look it over if you want. Make sure it works for you. Mind you. How much you make depends on how many gigs you take and there will be slow months. We won't force you to take a gig. So, plan accordingly."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn nods, "Right! Of course. I mean..These things aren't built overnight, and I do have backup plans, like, I'm still working very part time at a little coffee shop too..I actually won a scholarship fir college because I dud so well in music so that helps too!" she beams as she collects the paperwork, "Soo, how long do I have to fill this all out and return it? Oh, and in the event that I do get my band back together, do they all need to go through the audition and paperwork too? I initially worked as a band but I work just as well as a soloist. I'm pretty flexible."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Four weeks." Wade replies matter of factly. "The audition you did was mainly so you could be on the call list we maintain here for our clients to use for things like last second stand-ins or staffing recording sessions. It's extra money and networking for solitary artists. For a full group, we'd probably have a rep or two come hear you guys play together in your element and make their assessment there."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn nods, "Okay cool, that should be enough time." she grins, "Sooo is there anything else you need from me? I can get this paperwork finished and sent back in no time. This is really exciting! I'm really looking forward to working for you, or through you or whatever."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Well, the only thing I'm going to ask is that when you start working on gigs you get through us, do your best. Because what you do will end up reflecting on us." Wade replies, "Quality is the selling point of the list and we take it seriously. So, we do occasionally send people to check to make sure the people on the list are keeping up with that."

Wade clips the pink sheets together along with the card before handing them over to Megan as well. "Any other questions?"

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn nods, frowning a bit. No more questions cracks from her. "Of course, I always do my best, it wouldn't count otherwise, right? I swear I'll always do my best no matter what!" wow she's really taking this seriously. "Hmm, I think that's it for now, though I have your number if I have questions later, right?" she smiles, slipping the business card in her pocket as she rises from her chair. "Thanks again for taking the time to see me today!"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"It's clipped onto the form." Wade answers, giving a nod, leaning back in his seat. He doesn't get up to open the door because it was never closed. Those who could be within hearing distance were already part of the audition process anyways. "Thank you for considering us. And, welcome to Shaw Studios, Megan."
