Cast of Characters: Faith Lehane, Gambit

Faith Lehane has posed:
Rogue and Remy had gone out dancing Saturday night, but since they didn't want to deal with sneaking into a place, they ended up at The Bronze in Bludhaven, Rogue had heard about it from other kids at tahe school. It was diesnged FOR highschool aged kids, which sounds dumb... but it had a lot of indie bands play live there, which made Rogue more interested in going to see.

Faith... as she was most nights, was there as well. But, Faith was in the alley outback. The sounds of combat could be heard as trashcans were being toppled and bodies were being flung about, there was a real brew-ha-ha going on in the dark alleyway behind The Bronze!

Gambit has posed:
Remy had told Rogue that he was going to the bathroom, despite her goofy reaction nasty face, Remy rolled his eyes, told her if they're getting married she'll have to accept his good and bad habits. All with a teasing wink before he walked over to the bathroom and then, slipped out back for a smoke instead.

Stepping up to the sound of people falling over, Remy isn't sure if he wants to deal with more drunks after last night, but pulling out a cigarette and lighting up as he realizes there's a fight going on, Remy stays just out of the circle and watches, observing for a bit.

Faith Lehane has posed:
"We told you, Slayer..." A male's voice could be heard, exhausted and taunting. "We were gonna find you, and rip you to shreds!" It was a lone man standing in front of two others that had a teenage girl (who looked quite a lot like Rogue, minus the white hair streaks) held between them, grasping her by the arms as she pulled and shook from them.

"Maybe we'll just enjoy you a bit before hand though..." He said further at her with a lecherous laugh and then stalked forward with his fists held up high, in a fighting stance.

Faith's feet came up, using the men holding arms to allow her to KICK at the man coming for her. Sticking out of her boot, a wooden dagger plunged itself into the man's chest... and he BURST into a cloud of smoke and ash!

The other two men saw this, and then both sent punches hard into Faith's stomach, causing her to fall backward into the trash filled alley.

Gambit has posed:
Remy starts to step forward, hand behind his unzipped black hoodie and grabing a hold of his collapsed staff, but just holding it there in the shadows, not drawing it forth when Faith causes a dude to burst into ash just from kicking him. Whoa. "That was." He doesn't say anything else as he steps forward to help the girl, a single playing card flying from his hand and exploding in a smallish purple blast at one man's feet, trying to knock him off balance as Remy steps up to punch the other one while unsheathing his staff.

Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith took advantage of the timely arrival of the man who just threw some kind of firecracker... She leapt up to her feet, her black trenchcoat flowing around her body... She rushed toward the man on the ground, ripped a WOODEN STAKE out of her jacket and JAMMED IT into the man's chest!

With a satisfied grunt, Faith watched the man also burst into dust and ash beneath her. She stood up and turn to face Remy and the other.

The last Vampire took Remy's punch pretty good and he went to deliver a hard upper-cut at Remy's face! But when he saw his last buddy get dusted, he snarled at Faith.... his Face Shifted into the hideous Vampire Mode and he snarled at the Slayer.

"You got lucky... We're coming for you." And he started to run for the other end of the alley!

Gambit has posed:
Remy was starting to step back to avoid the punch but he realized at that moment he was way too slow, this man was fast. FAST. But the hit never came. The man stopped.

Remy looked over to Faith and was trying to catch not only his breath but his mind as it was racing. "Who are you?" He asks, his accent thick, moving some what closer to Faith, putting his still collapsed staff back against his back and looking at the twin piles of ash around the alley. "Where t'ose what I t'ink t'ey were?" The man doesn't want to admit it, but there was always that idea in the back of his head.

Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith watched the Vampire disappear behind a spout of steam rising up at the end of the alleway out of the sewers below. She then exhaled and stuffed the stake back into her coat, then adjusted the lapel so her coat would settle more comfortably upon her body.

It wasn't until she heard Remy's voice that she looked over at him, her big brown eyes looking him over head to toe... "One of the Chosen Two, yo." She said at him in her husky voice before turning away from him and walking back over to the dumpster where her dinner was sitting in a restaurant basket with greasy white paper. She picked up one of the chicken strips and tore it in half. "What the hell kind of accent is that?" She asked Remy now, eyeballing him again as she went about eating her dinner off the top of that dumpster beside her.

Gambit has posed:
"Cajun. French Quarter, New Orleans." The cajun notes as he walks over to Faith and turns his nose up to the smell of that chicken. He blinks at her though, his mind chewing on her initial answer as he tries to think what she could pissibly mean by that. Leaning against the wall near Fairth, her crosses his arms, pulls out a deck of cards and starts to shuffle them in the air. "Now, by one o' t'e chosen two, what exactly do ya mean?" He asks, looking like there's a solid table beneath him as he shuffles the deck like any dealer would.

Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith was enjoying her dinner while he spoke to her. She pulled a beer out of her coat pocket and popped it open then took a big drink of it. "New Orleans, huh." She said. "Never been down there. Sounds like a fun place though." She said in a disinterested voice, her eyes then going to eye him as he did that little flourish with the cards. "I'm a Vampire Slayer." She just threw it out there. "Part of an ancient legacy, or some bullshit." She glanced down at her chest and wiped some chicken finger crumbs off her her tanktop that were collecting up on her bustline, some had already fallen down her shirt, but... those were free to have their own fun night.

"When one slayer dies, a new one is born." She continued. "One died, I was called in... that one came back to life though, so now there's two of us..." She looked back up at him then. "Thus, Chosen Two. Not that complicated, was it?" She said at him with a smirk, then went to grab a couple of french fries from the food basket.

Gambit has posed:
Remy shuffles the deck once more, one single eyebrow of his slowly climbs up the face of his forehead like a cliff. "That's a bizarre story Slayer." The cajuns says, faning the cards out once and then slams his hands together to push the cards back to form the deck. He's just keeping his hands busy. "Guess I have t' buy it." He says with a soft smirk towards the rather messy girl.

Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith's shoulders shrugged then. "Well, I ain't really selling it. So buy it or don't, I don't give a damn either way." She said, taking another drink of her beer. A moment later and she nodded toward him. "You're kinda cute though, what are you doing for the rest of the night?" She asked him. "I got a place, not too far from here..." She glanced down the alleyway. "Fights always kinda get me worked up, ya know?" She said, looking back at him and grinning.

Gambit has posed:
Remy shakes his head at the offer. "I don' even know your name." He says with a shrug declining the offer, not giving any other reason to turn her down. "Not t'at t'at's ev'r stopped me before, but you seem quite dangerous." Remy says with a subtle nod.

Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith showed a big grin at him then, her perfectly white teeth were contrasted against the dark berry-whine colored lipstick she was wearing. "I am dangerous." She told him. "But... in a good way." She added then, glancing back toward the door that had the only light in the alley above it. "You're here with someone, huh?" She asked him then, looking back at him. "No guy's gonna turn me down, unless he's here with a sweetie of his own." She gently shook her head. "Invite her along. I don't mind." She said then with a shrug to her shoulders. "And my name's Faith... ya know... ya gotta have Faith."

Gambit has posed:
"Sorry t' crush y'r ego gorgeous, but I ain't t'at big o' a believer." The man says, starting to turn around and walk back towards the door with his sly grin painted on his face, leaving a single card on the ground though, as if on accident, but who knows.

Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith would shrug her shoulders and reach for another chicken strip. "Whatever, Sally." She said to him as he started walking back inside. "Thanks for the assist though. That was some fancy fireworks trick you did back there." She then pulled one of the wooden stakes out of her jacket again, polished shiney wood. "Looks like its just you and me tonight again, Keanu." She said to the stake with a sigh as she leaned back against the brick building.
