Synopsis: Ceremonial measurements and macabre deliveries end in a black yuletide tree an decorating it. How anthithetic!
Cast of Characters: Sinister, Lucifer

Sinister has posed:
A christmas tree arrived earlier in the day, black as pitch. It came with a box of simplistic baubles in silver and red. A bundle of holly leaves was also brought, apparently glass holly ornaments were difficult to find. Unassembled they sit in a corner, ready to go up. There's a lean gentleman sitting on the couch with Nathaniel, however -- middle-aged but at the high end of it, perhaps fifty five or sixty, with salt and pepper grey hair and a lean frame. He wears half-moon spectacles and has a tablet open and what amounts to a tailor's measuring kit, swatch of fabrics and the like on the coffee table nearby. "You did not give me much to work with, Nosferatu," the man has a very faint german accent and a tracery of yiddish to his accent. "So, I? I bring all sorts. Your partner, he is coming soon, yes?"

"I assume so," Sinister replies, looking over the fabrics one by one, turning them and feeling qualities, weights and wefts.

Lucifer has posed:
Lucifer had left to go 'run errands'..or so that was what he told Nathaniel when he left earlier. And of course, it wasn't a lie, as going to obtain a required thing requested by your lover is just as important as getting groceries or the dry cleaning. It just means that when you come back to the house, not expecting there to be company, you come via portal. A rip that opens splitting time and space itself, fiery and shimmering until the Devil comes through. Screaming heard on the other side of the void, but the Devil wears a smile - a particular smile. One that speaks of satisfaction in so many ways. Though when he notices company, he's quick to palm the treasure he has and walks further into the living room.

"Oh my, the tree is absolutely gorgeous! I can't wait to decorate it...and...whomst do we have here, my love?"

Sinister has posed:
The elder tailor looks up, eyes round at the manifestation of a portal, dropping his chalk in the carpet as the screams of the damned briefly are heard and Lucifer Morningstar steps through. "Unglaublich!" wide-eyed still, he looks to Sinister and over at Lucifer, his eyes taking on an odd silvery sheen "Uh..."

"Samuel Rosen, this is Lucifer Morningstar. I think you know him by a different name."

"Ja, Samael of the flaming blade. There's something you don't see. Ever."

Sinister chuckles, levitating the chalk and looking over to the unassembled christmas tree. "I refused to put it up without you being around. But I think it shall look quite special when finished. Samuel sees the shape of things. Their patterns. It does make him an excellent tailor. It has also made him quite good at staying alive beyond his years. I saved him, when he was a small child." A holocaust survivor, then. "He's brought fabrics."

Lucifer has posed:
The rift closes almost as soon as Lucifer is on the other side and he smiles as he is introduced. A hand goes to his chest and he bows minimalistically. "Frieden, mein Freund. Ich meine, es schadet dir nicht." (Peace, friend. I mean you no harm.) Is offered and then that smile broadens. "I had no idea we were having company, my love. It is a pleasure to meet you Heir Rosen."

In regards to the tree, Lucifer nods and chuckles. "I am glad you waited. We will spend time putting the tree together and making it nice and pretty. As for Samuel, a tailor you say? Well I am now piqued with curiosity... what plans have you made dear Nathaniel?"

Sinister has posed:
The old tailor waggles his glasses, takes them off, cleans them and puts them back on his nose, smiling in that way one does when one is ever so slightly trying to fend off being stunned. Luckily, having something to explain has him turning his iPad around, showing the paint program he was working on where upon a few tunic designs can be seen. He doesn't say anything though, merely sits humbly with a nod of the head.

"Potential designs for our ceremonial attire. I thought I'd float the idea out there, see what could be come up with, have a look over fabrics and see what the Pattern Samuel sees, can provide." Nathaniel replies, gesturing to the pile of swatches. "I wasn't sure if your tailor was in the know. It's impossible to hide anything from Samuel, so he's been in the know about a great deal of things, for a very long time. Very perspicatious child he was, then quite an adventurer post war."

Lucifer has posed:
"Oh. Right." Lucifer offers and then looks himself over. Somehow he manages to further wrap the item in his hand and offers that to Nathaniel. "I'd open that a bit later if I were you." Saying this and then he looks at the iPad but doesn't readily take it, just skims what's there for the moment.

His attention then turns to the fabrics that have been brought and he reaches to touch a few of them. See how they feel in his fingers and against his skin as a whole. "Marvelous indeed. This is such a wonderful idea. I do like those tunic styles... though maybe I should wear something a bit more...pirate-y?"

Sinister has posed:
"Pirate-y? Hmm. In honour of our first date?" Sinister grins, glances at Samuel who blinks a time or two then 'aahs' and begins a'scribbling. Knowing the pattern of things and having had probably quite a number of years of practice, he swiftly executes something very Corsair like, offering a look at it to Lucifer. "He was going to measure me with wings out, so that he can tailor things appropriately." Sin offers that, but runs his hand over the finer velvets. He taps one that is midnight blue, another that is the dark of Starry night. "I quite like those. Still. Sourcing proper fabrics does take time, so..."

The tailor carries on sketching, doodling the deck of a ship beneath a stylized version of a fellow in said corsair tunic and trim pants, even as the doctor takes the palmed object, feels it for what it is and nods, keeping it tighly obfuscated as he floats it out of the room. "I take it that didn't take you -too- much trouble to acquire?"

Lucifer has posed:
"Indeed. Though you never know, I might go full debonair..." Lucifer offers with a grin, watching as the tailor begins to scribble at his tablet again. When he shows that design, Lucifer tries to imagine it on himself and then looks over to the fabrics again. "I really am liking that dark blue..." He offers. "Could fit very well... what were you thinking for yourself? And sizing for wingspan might be a good idea."

"Not terribly much. No. I'll tell you all about it later." He promises, tucking such a promise inside the words he speaks without actually saying the word itself.

Sinister has posed:
Sinister oh's pausing a moment as he looks at the swatches then up at Lucifer with one eye narrowing a little so he can imagine. "Actually yes, better on you. Accents in silver and cerulean?" **scribble, scribble** He considers himself, placing his hand beside the fabric shades and flipping a few over, until there's a moonsilver hue on display. That kind of pale almost duckshell colour that's just a few shades bluer than silver itself. "This perhaps," he moves over toward a cream colour, a sort of pale aureate. "Or that. Given how our colours differ, dark to light and light to dark, that would highlight the compliments and contrasts. I think I like the moonshadow shade better than the golden. It makes me look less washed out."

Sinister rises then, removing his shirt so that he's dressed in only a wife-beater beneath, exhales long an **FWOOSH** allows the red-fringed black to unfurl.

Samuel is quick to get up and take specific measurements then, of the wing base, the length of tertiaries an the space needed for optimum movement, so that they can be easily free of any design he makes. He's adept with the tapemeasure.

There is a smile for the promise that is never actually spoken. "I'm glad of that. I would not have wished that to have been troublesome on you, at any point. I was worried it was going to be hard for alternative reasons."

Lucifer has posed:
"Oh that moonsilver is absolutely divine..." Lucifer offers as he moves to shuffle it and lays it over the blue. "I think they compliment each other exquisitely...and given I am known to be a creature of the dark..." He says this and then tilts his head. "And you could be the opposite. Your main color the moonsilver, accented in this midnight blue..." This and then he watches as Nathaniel steps out and flares his wings for measurements to be taken. A thought and then he steps just aside and does the same for the same purpose.

So their measurements are taken. Colors are chosen. And then Samuel is thanked for his time. How the man will leave is anyone's guess, but surely Nathaniel has a way. Once they are alone, Lucifer will regale him with the tale of the severed finger, and perhaps a few other stories while attention is turned to the black tree and decorating it.
