A night at Club Evolution

Location:	Club Evolution, Mutant Town
Synopsis:	Sam meets Kori, and things get interesting.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie is sitting at the bar. He has his normal place at the end of the bar, with a glass of tea in front of him. He watches the club as it is decently crowded, not full, but enough to have folks to dance with. A live band is playing music on stage lead singer a young man with Red wings.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r floats past the burly mutant bouncers who move aside for her, down the hallway and into Club Evolution a half-foot off the ground, her hairtips brightly glowing with fiery contrails that leak no heat and cause no damage. She's in her typical costume, purple barely-there swimsuit with boots and bracers. She scans the crowd, not seeing anyone she recognizes. It is certainly a colorful mix of types and shapes of people, she should fit right in.

As much as a 6 and a half foot alien princess sexbomb flying superheroine with literally blazing long hair and wearing the skimpiest one-piece ever invented can fit in, anyway.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie 's brow raises a bit as he does spot Kori. There maybe other flyers about and even a route to the roof, but she does stand out a bit and she is famous. He is wearing dark dress slacks and a purple button up shirt with the clubs logo above the pocket area. He will motion towards the bartender speaking to him a moment letting him know the lovely orange lady will drink for free tonight.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r bobs her head to the music the band is playing as she floats to the bar and orders a Banana Daquiri. She knows that she has an addiction tendency and hates the withdrawals so she tends to pass up the hard stuff.

Unless she had a rough day. Or is feeling adventurous. Or naughty.

Yeah, that's almost always.

But in this case she just sips the fruity drink, pleasantly surprised when told that all her drinks are on the house courtesy of the man at the bar. She glides over to sit her pert derriere on the barstool next to him.

"What did I do to earn such a treat? Thank you by the way."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks to the woman and says "Well, any one of the times the Titans have saved the world should count." He offers with a smile, but adds "Those who do the good work to help folks should get some reward. Might not be much, but figure it is at least something that can be done here and now."

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r laughs and smiles at him, which is a true thing of beauty. She extends a graceful hand.

"Princess Koriand'r of Tamaran, also Starfire of the Titans. But any man who buys me drinks can call me Kory. Or Star, your choice." She gives him a wink.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will take the hand and will lean down to lightly kiss it, in a gentlemanly manor "Well a pleasure to meet you Miss Kory, Ah'm Sam Guthrie, Ah manage the place here, and maybe Ah can get a photo with you later, would drive my best friend crazy Ah met you and he missed you.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r practically purrs when her fingers are kissed "It's very much my pleasure Sam. So you are the manager? It is a very unique club, I am pleased to have discovered it. Certainly we can take a picture together. Always happy to help a friend tease his friends.... Should we blow his mind? I would be happy to pose for a shot of you kissing me." She waited to say that until he was just taking a sip of his drink, hoping for a hilarious moment.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will barely not do a spit take, coughing a bit at this but getting the drink down and not choking to much. "Well, Ah can't say Ah would turn it down, but don't want to take advantage of you ma'am. Heck, might even make my brother on stage there miss a beat."

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r giggles at his choked swallow, not quite the spray of liquid she was aiming for but she has to admit he manfully worked past it.

She arches an eyebrow, holds up a pair of fingers against her thumb, and a swirling bright green energy appears circling her fingertips "Truthfully Sam. Look at me. Don't you think that if anyone took advantage of me... it would be entirely because I wanted them to? Lets give your friend and your brother a show they won't soon forget."

A pause as her energy emission winks out like it was never there, and the hand lightly touches his shoulder "Nor you I hope."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will wipe his mouth to make sure no excess wetness from the cough and will stand up. He calls the bartender over, and gives him the phone and says "Take a pic of me and the lady for me Joe." The bartender raises a brow, but it is the boss after all.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r hops off the barstool and steps slowly up to him, hips swaying. It is unusual of her to walk rather than fly, and she's doing it *just* to be a tease.

Already some eyes turned their way as the bartender lines up the camera of the cellphone. Koriand'r towers a full 7 inches taller than him and that's not counting that glorious mane of red hair.

One hand on a bent hip. A grin and a nibble of her lower lip. "Don't leave a lady in suspense, Mr. Guthrie."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie would have not had the nerve to do this when he was younger, but he has dated a couple girls who were out there, one being a rock star, so he is not totally unused to being stared at. He will step forward placing one hand on her hip and the other moving to the small of her back, as he leans in to kiss her, the height being a bit of an issue, so he will dip her backwards a bit if she allows to put them on more equal height.

Starfire has posed:
It turns out that Koriand'r has literally superhuman flexibility and agility on top of precise flight control. She accomodates his bending her over with an arch of her back you'd be hard pressed to find a cat doing, let alone a human.

A press of their lips together, as jaws drop and whoops holler. The bartender nearly fumbles the phone but manages to get several frantic snapshots off as the kiss lasts. Kory's eyes are bright with some amusement and lots of pleasure. She adds a swirl of her green energy in an aura around them as additional proof for the picture that it is really her.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will kiss her for a moment, but not overly long, he does not want to be that guy, but will bring her back to a standing position as he breaks the kiss. It has been a few months since he broke up with his fiancee, and Kori is his first kiss since then. He looks to her and offers her a smile "Worth remembering for sure." He smiles and his brother does miss a beat during the kiss and gives a wooo, but is back to his song pretty quickly.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r giggles again as she is lifted back up. "I agree. I will keep this in my memory. Thank you for the kiss, good sir. I hope you are able to, what is the phrase, drive many miles with the joke on your friend?"

She reaches upwards to stretch both arms, also a move that captures appreciative looks. "I think it's about time I danced. Would you care to join me?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit to this and says "Well, how about Ah give you a bit of something to remember with it." He offers and steps in to take her in his arms and with a bit of concentration the two are surrounded by a orange glow and lifting in the air, it takes some concentration from the young man, but they hover and he dulls down the normal roar of his blastfield to a muted buzz.

Starfire has posed:
Koriand'r's solid green eyes light up with interest "Why Sam, it seems you are a man of many hidden talents. I wonder what else you're hiding." Her lips quirking in a teasing half-smile.

And they begin an aerial dance. She lets him lead, assisting him on rapid turns and dips with momentary flares of her hair ends indicating when her flight engages. Starfire thoroughly enjoys her night out as she lives completely in the now and loses herself in the music with her new friend.
