Cast of Characters: Shredder, Kit Killovarras

'Shredder has posed:
St. Margarets is most certainly a strongly established location in the community of Mutant Town. Plenty of mutants are there on Sundays, but it's a little quieter on Wednesday afternoon. However, Rocky, a rather well natured individual who stands at an impressive 6'8" and has spikes coming out of his shoulders is just heading into the church. He's a coordinator. He works at the Mutant Cultural Museum about a block away, and works in Construction. He's also known to be the guy that unemployed mutants go to if they need connections with Oroku Industries.
'Kit Killovarras has posed:
The church has always been a place for those who truly need it to find help. So it's no coincidence - or perhaps it is - that shortly after Rocky comes in, another fairly tall figure walks in, a box in tow and two more levitating off to either side of him.

Kit has been well known around this area for the better half of a year by some communities. Specifically, the homeless population both in and beneath Bushwick. His trips to this place are almost always planned in advance with those who offer assistance here. The boxes are packed with supplies, from general daily needed items, to creature comfort items and comfort snacks, a lot of which would have been requested by people who have come here when he's around.

He's not shy about himself here either. He's not hiding his height, his body, his stance or anything about himself in this part of town and when first opens the doors? It's heralded by an almost angelic voice, chiming out,

"Let's take a moment and look deep in-side.
"And say we're willin', to give love a try!"
"We're not as different, as we seem to be!"
"There's so much more to me than what you, see."

His voice practically fills the church in that moment, threatening to bring a smile to even some of the least fortunate with the cheerful melody behind the words. The fact that he's got the demeanor of a giant dog with his tail wagging behind him probably wouldn't help either, if someone were truly inclined to try to remain grumpled.
'Shredder has posed:
Rocky glances over his shoulder as he hears Kit's voice, and is one of the many who would crack a smile. "Man, sing like that you should go be on one of those talent shows. "Rocky," he offers, a big strong hand. "Looks like you got some work you're doin' there, need a hand?" he asks, nodding at the boxes of supplies.
'Kit Killovarras has posed:
Kit gives a little chuckle as Rocky introduces himself and nods slightly. "I mean, I could use a hand, yeah." he says, motioning with his head back behind him as he chimes, "There's like, seven more boxes out in the truck and another pair of hands would make things a lot quicker." Then the two levitating boxes come to rest in front of him as he sets the third on top of them, then rolls his shoulders a little and adds. "Kit," as he takes the offered hand.

By his grip, it almost feels like he's both remarkably strong - by human standards at least - but remarkably delicate too in a way. He looks nearly malnourished and his grip is intentionally gentle. It's almost like he's afraid of hurting someone, even if the man offering the handshake is taller than him at even his natural height.
'Shredder has posed:
Rocky's grip is strong, but not one of those guys that seeks to crush other people's hand to prove his strength in a hand shake. "Cool cool. Just came over to fix a pipe for Sister Nancy," he comments. "I can spare a few minutes." He turns back to the door. "So what's all these goods for?" he asks. "Food drive or somethin'?"
'Kit Killovarras has posed:
"Nah," Kit says with a chuckle as the top box opens itself up. "Just the monthly donation." There are blankets on the top of the boxes, but beneath the first two or three? They're packed half-way with supplies. None of them are name brand but rather, practically selected generics and some of the items are even bundled together with named labels.

The mention of the pipe needing fixed gets another little smile out of the yeen as he tilts his head and asks, "The one downstairs leaking again or is it a different one?" Well, apparently he's somewhat familiar with the place.
'Shredder has posed:
"Ahh, nice," Rocky nods. "Winter's comin', lotsa folks gonna need that," he says as an agreement. He heads down toward the truck. "Not sure, but my guess is that it's the same one," he says. "Gotta find a mutant with the power to make pipes work without breakin'. Now THAT would be a useful power," he says. "So who donated these? You?"
'Kit Killovarras has posed:
"Actually, it's me, my folks and a couple friends who decided to set these up." Kit says with a smile, his voice more than able to carry out to the street. "I'm just the one bringing it in most of the time on account of--"

As he lets those words trail off, two more of the boxes from the truck start to drift out of the truck, levitating their way towards the doors of the church. He also wasn't exaggerating, there are ten boxes of supplies in total and all except one of them are packed roughly the same way. One in particular though is filled with tins of food! This could easily be a couple hundred dollars worth of supplies.

"Thanks for helping out by the way. If the pipe's damaged, let me see it? I'll patch it up good as new."
