Synopsis:	Finally time for Splatercon	!

Faith Lehane has posed:\<br\>It's early evening, and really that's the best time to enjoy a little spooky horror movie expo, right when the sun is about to go down. The venue is a large convention center with an outdoor courtyard for extra spooky fun. Given that it's close to halloween, it's extra incentive for those who are too old to trick or treat, but still want to dress up in scary spooky costumes.\<br\>\<br\>Faith arrives early to take in all the glamour and spookiness of this place. and wow, aren't there a lot of people dresed like vampires, maybe a few dressed like slayers too. For herself, she is dressed like a sexy vampire complete with the black leather mini dress, heavy pasty makeup and thigh high boots and a red cloak. Yeah, like vamps really dress so obviously. Oh well.

Hawkeye (Bishop) has posed:\<br\>Kate does like her horror movies and tis the season and everything. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of famous archers in the horror canon, generally speaking, but she does her best Final Girl impression, with some fake blood spatter on a tank-top. She even watched a make-up tutorial and gave herself a fake slashing wound along her throat and made herself a bit pale. She has a napsack slung over her shoulder with her bow and quiver, which she managed to smuggle in past security cause she's good like that. She looks around casually and pauses at a counter and kneels down to look at little replica Phantasm murder balls. "Groovy."

Thomas Raith has posed:\<br\>Thomas Raith for his part has gone the other direction. Instead of his usual getup which has him looking like a too good to be real male model that just stepped off the cover of a fantasy romance novel, he's traded it in for a long black leather duster and wide brimmed hat which has him looking like a too good to be real male model that just stepped off the cover of a Vampire horror romance novel. He smirks a little glancing at Faith, his bright green wristband indicating that they've paid for extra VIP access. "I'll go get us some programs, see if we can't find when Madrigal is supposed to be speaking. He certainly won't try anything before his panel." He says glancing around at the merch. "Keep an eye out for me will you? I also need to get my brother something for his birthday. Not sure the strippergram will work this year.

Faith Lehane has posed:\<br\>Faith Lehane grins and nods, peering around the courtyard. So much to see, so much to do. Where to head first? She nods and grins to Thomas, the Vampire slayer, or whatever the heck he's supposed to be. "Sure, take your time, I'm gonna wander around a bit and have some fun." she grins and winks at him, giving a little wave as he heads off.\<br\>\<br\>For the most part, Faith is happy to wander through the crowds and admire all the lovely costumes. But she's also keeping an eye out for real vampires and other things that go bump in the night, because given everything they know about this place, it's always possible they might find the real thing..\<br\>\<br\>The sun is still in the sky but descending rapidly and she peers at it thoughtfully, making some mental calculations and not really watching where she's going as she ends up backing up, stumbling into the 'Final Girl' cosplayer.

Hawkeye (Bishop) has posed:\<br\>Kate Bishop gets bumped into but shows impeccable balance or, at the very least, she doesn't fall right onto her rump. "Whoa, careful there," Kate says, grinning a bit as she regards the statuesque 'vampire' woman. "Didn't mean to get in your way. Just got sucked in by the replicas. Kind of makes me wonder if I could find some of the original stuff online," she says. Being a multimillionairess does have its benefits, after all.\<br\>\<br\>Still, she can sense there's something off about the way the woman is looking around. Like she's expecting something. "Flash mob about to start?"

Thomas Raith has posed:\<br\>Thomas Raith nods to Faith as she heads off. Maybe not the most reliable backup, but for now he trusts her and better an unreliable Faith then a non existant knight of the Cross. At least getting a program is easy enough, offering a wicked smile to the poor girl handing them out he turns to look around quickly for his partner. He pauses at a vender selling a virtually pornographic collection of art called 'Scream Queens.' and buys it... Christmas for Bob handled.. then moves up behind Faith. "I leave you alone for five seconds and you are already moving on to someone else? I'm not sure my over inflated ego can handle this slight."

Faith Lehane has posed:\<br\>Faith Lehane blinks and darts to the side, catching her balance as easily and flawlessly as the woman she bumped into..Proving to be certainly more agile than your average girl..Hey, maybe she really *is* a vamp, you never know.\<br\>\<br\>She smirks, "Heh, not exactly..Just realized tonight it supposed to be a full moon.." she nods to her. "Nice costume, at least you're not as clumsy as most." she shrugs, looking back to Thomas and rolls her eyes. "What the hell, do you think you're my keeper or something?" she shrugs and smirks, a bit of a musement in her eyes.\<br\>\<br\>"I was just noticing that the sun's about to go down and that it's a full moon tonight..And you know what that means.." she wriggles her brows playfully at the two of them, and when she grins she shows those fake fangs. Although she did a damn good job of making them look really real..

Hawkeye (Bishop) has posed:\<br\>Kate Bishop regards Thomas calmly, nodding to the handsome stranger as she takes a moment to pull her hair back into a proper ponytail, twisting the tie into place. "Thanks, I made it myself," she says, then she hears the stuff about the full moon and grins. "Oh yeah. Time to howl. Is there like...a nightlife thing here? Like a dance club after hours or something? Cause that might be cool. I could get my dance on," she says, then raises a hand to Thomas, "Hello. I'm Kate," she says, introducing herself to both of them.

Thomas Raith has posed:\<br\>Thomas Raith grins a bit holding up the program, "As it happens there is. Apparently it's supposed to be Prom themed because Slasher but still." He says mildly amused, still apparently looking for someone and seeming a bit concerned he doesn't yet see him. Still he offers the young heir4ess a heart melting smile. "Thomas Raith, a pleasure to meet you."

Faith Lehane has posed:\<br\>Faith Lehane grins and nods appraisingly to Kate. "Cool, gotta say, home made costumes are far better than store bought..I mean, to be fair, I just grabbed some of my usual street clothes and tossed something together that fit." Why yes, she does normally wear lots of black and leather and revealing goth clothing. Although the makeup and the red spiderweb cape are a nice touch.\<br\>\<br\>As for a nightlife, she shrugs and chuckles, "What he said, Splatterconn!!! I guess is what they call it, and yeah, I think there's a dance going on tonight, isn't that so, Thomas?" she nods to Kate again, "Oh yeah, my name is Faith."\<br\>\<br\>Her gaze returns to the sky as it is darkening rapidly now..Not a cloud in sight and it's gonna be a clear night, but the moment the sun peeks below the horizon, it's getting more crowded out here..\<br\>\<br\>"Hmmm, interesting.." she mutters, her hawkish gaze following a group of teens who seem oddly dressed, kind of archaic, but not in your typical over the top melodramatic 'dracula' type outfits. "Hey Thomas, do you see what I see?"

Hawkeye (Bishop) has posed:\<br\>Kate Bishop grins, "Yeah, I thought it'd be more fun to costume this way. Plus the Mrs. Voorhees costume I bought online smelled funny. I think it had been worn before," she says, crinkling her nose. "Sick."\<br\>\<br\>She shakes Thomas' hand and there's almost a faint flush to her cheeks. Which makes her irritated. What the hell, Bishop? Then she follows Faith's gaze over to that crowd and sees the other people walking along, 'I don't see it. What?" she asks.

Thomas Raith has posed:\<br\>Shaking hands with Thomas is... different. That's kinda an understatement. It's almost electric. Frankly, most guys can't /kiss/ as well as Thomas shakes hands. He grins a little bit and looks around. "I think we might be good tonight. He's not arriving till after nine and then only doing the VIP autograph sessions." He says to Faith, though offering a slight grin at Kate's flush.

Faith Lehane has posed:\<br\>Faith Lehane chuckles at Kate. "Oh, nothing. I was just admiring their...Costumes.." Really, she's not good at the subtle, and usually she could care less but. "What who, you mean your..Cousin?" she narrows her eyes at him, "I'm kinda thinking he might have brought his friends along for the ride, for an advance screening..How's about we say hello?" hopefully he gets the hint.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:\<br\>As with it being day one, there are still persons arriving to the scene. And with the rise of certain murmurs, it becomes apparent that a couple of persons arriving at the entrance to the courtyard would be part of the featured guests that were brought about during the advertising of Splattercon!!! \<br\>\<br\>"Ohmigod. Amber and Vincent, here?"\<br\>\<br\>"...they look older."\<br\>\<br\>"Duh. Actors. Not real vampires."\<br\>\<br\>Despite the effects of time, the movie couple still manage to get a few nods as they are shown through the crowd by one of the handlers.\<br\>\<br\>While those two draw attention, a younger looking, familiar figure follows, seemingly making a turn at the entry way to take another route away from the prying eyes. \<br\>\<br\>"...Ok that guy looks a LOT like Dominic but he's too young."

Thomas Raith has posed:\<br\>The name catches Thomas ear and he blinks, checks his program, then looks up scanning the crowd. Being tall, dark and handsom has many perks... the tall part means it's easier to find folks in a crowded area. He offers Faith a grin and a wicked smile to Kate and offers, "I'll be right back, I think I see a friend.

Hawkeye (Bishop) has posed:\<br\>Kate Bishop definitely has that classic private investigator instinct that there's something afoot. She just doesn't know what. Or why. But there's something conspiratorial about the glancing. Which is good, focus your mind on that instead of the weird tingles she got from that handshake.\<br\>\<br\>"They are pretty good," she says. She never saw Nick's movie unfortunately - she just never really cared for vampire stuff. She was more of a slasher girl.

Faith Lehane has posed:\<br\>Faith Lehane smirks a bit at Thomas, "You know, you really have to stop flirting with every pretty girl you see. Not like I care or anything." she rolls her eyes, glancing towards the cheering crowds. "Oh yay, it's that soap opera vamp guy. I mean, who watches this stuff, seriously?"\<br\>\<br\>And now her attention is split between the trio of movie stars, and the real vampires, deciding to keep a wait and see stance for now. Glancing at Kate she just shrugs, "So much to see at these things, honestly. It's actually kind of fun. So much..Eye candy.." she licks her lips, watching Thomas go to meet his friend.

Thomas Raith has posed:\<br\>Thomas Raith grins at Faith, "I will do no such thing." He says with a smirk and adds "I actually know that guy, he plays at my club sometimes. Good guy to have on your side." He adds glancing to Faith to add a bit of meaning to his words. "Hang on I'll introduce you." Of course then he has to actually /get/ to Nick which involves him trying to work through the crowd while calling the other man's name.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:\<br\>Faith's question on who watches that type of stuff gets answered by the cries of the young, and most likely to be meals to the real vamps later. "Amber! Over here!" \<br\>\<br\>"Vincent! You look great not burnt to a crisp!"\<br\>\<br\>Nick, having altered his path to not be near the main couple of the movie manages to avoid most of the movie fanatics. And he would have gotten away to the adjacent building if it wasn't for Thomas calling his actual name. The lack of the 'Domi' to the called out name ends up doing the rest as a man who most likely hadn't seen 'Life Bites!' gives the musician another look. \<br\>\<br\>"...NO WAY! Silver Round! Drinks with the Devil! Y-"\<br\>\<br\>All of Nick's forward momentum is lost as he finds himself being part of a selfie with a guy throwing up the devil horns to the camera.

Hawkeye (Bishop) has posed:\<br\>Kate Bishop grins at Faith, "I'm not complaining," she says in agreement. "I think the ratio is about 7:1 boy to girl here, so we're probably getting stared at waaaaaaaaay more. Especially you. Like damn, girl," she says, gesturing up and down to Faith. "So, I take it Thom there isn't your boyfriend?" she says, ever the investigator.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:\<br\>By the time the music fan takes the second shot, Nick's giving a relaxed smile to the camera, acting as if the typical conversation leading up to the photo taking had occurred. 'Oh hi, do you mind if I take a picture with you' 'Oh sure.' 'Great thanks.' You know, THAT stuff. While he had not been expecting to run into this caliber of fan at a horror convention, it does end up being a proper distraction. And then the questions start.\<br\>\<br\>"Oh man, Nick Drago... With the way you disappeared I thought you were dead,in rehab, or something like that."\<br\>\<br\>Nick glances aside, not quite responding to that.

Faith Lehane has posed:\<br\>Faith Lehane arches a brow at Kate and just laughs, "My boyfriend!? Hah, hardly, I mean, sure we hang out.." more than they used to. "And we know each other.." more than she'd like to. "But y'know, definitely not my guy, I'm not one to settle down or fall in love or whatever." she shrugs. She peers at Nick, "Soo, do you know anything about these actors or the show they're in? Some vamp romance or something?"

Hawkeye (Bishop) has posed:\<br\>Kate Bishop raises her hands, "I'm not looking to hit on him or anything, I was just curious," she says. She peers at the gathering of groupies for a moment, "Yeah, I think...I vaguely remember something like that? Some of the girls at the academy I went to were into that, but it was just not for me. Guess they've got some pretty loyal fans, though, to be getting this much attention. Maybe that guy's a weird recluse or something."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:\<br\>Faith's posed question causes for Nick to look over to her. There's a hint of recognition to his features but with the craziness of the past year or so, one would have to forgive him for not having immediate recall to the name. Either way, the question is seized upon. An apologetic look is given to the rock fan as he steps towards Faith and Kate before looking over to the ones labeled Amber and Vincent by the crowd. "Oh yes. That's Sara Grendel and Marcus Vivalo. They played Amber and Vincent in Life Bites! a few years ago. It's a movie based off the novel."\<br\>\<br\>Nick looks over to Kate at her mention of the popularity, giving a nod. "Probably why the movie got greenlit so quick back when it was made."

Faith Lehane has posed:\<br\>Faith Lehane arches a brow at Kate. "Not interested huh. Everyone's interested in him. Why dont you run after him and give him your number or something." she chuckles, infinitely amused. "Geez, these sappy romance movies...Soo Thomas is buddies with a movie star? Of course he is.." and there he goes, and there she goes. Faith yawns, sliding a hand in her pocket, feeling the stake there. Yeah, she could really go for some action right about now..

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:\<br\>Nick gives a half smile, "More a musician who sometimes gets an acting role. Although, I've been taking time off from both of those recently. Trying to get back in the swing of things." \<br\>\<br\>"Mr. Drago?"\<br\>\<br\>Nick turns his head, looking over to a man wearing a staff badge looking over to them.\<br\>\<br\>"...Speaking of which," Nick gives Faith a nod, "I need to go. Enjoy the convention."\<br\>\<br\>Farewell given, Nick starts to head off, following after the staffer. \<br\>\<br\>"...Oh my god. That WAS Dominic."
