Kit Killovarras has posed:
It's a cool night in central park and like many saturday nights for the last hundred years, the Naumburg Bandshell is lit up and there's a small crowd of people. It's an open mic night apparently, with a local DJ on site to allow for either karaoke style tunes or even custom music, if you've brought your own thumb drive that is.

There are several portable outdoor space heaters and plenty of seating, as well as several food carts and even a truck or two nearby, but the real allure of the night is the purpose: This is a charity event! Patrons are encouraged to leave donations with the DJ if they enjoy the music or if they want to make special requests or simply want to help out and it seems like the funds are destined for a shelter over in Bushwick.

Harley Quinn has posed:
Good, maybe not hard to say. Harley is out and about. She's not at the charity thing. The princess of crime is not into that kinda thing. BUUUUUUUT the babies need walkies, and that is important so she's walking her two massive hyenas, holding their leash as she skips along, humming a tune.. She's in a festive mood cause, wow her outfit can only be seen not described

Solaire has posed:
Solaire doesn't often fly around above the city and make a pit stop at a particular venue. Though with such a lively event going on, his curiosity gets the better of him as he descends with a flicker of starlight cushioning the drop. He's an outsider, for sure, and doesn't.. quite approach the deal yet.

Kit Killovarras has posed:
The venue is pretty well lit, though there aren't as many people as there could be due to the time of night. But there's music, theres laughter and? There's a bipedal 6'6" hyena with a microphone!

He's not hiding what he is and stranger still? No one is freaking out! A closer look at the people here might explain the reason though, since not everyone seems entirely... Normal.

"Hey, don't write yourself off yet,"

"Or looked down, on."

The voice that comes over the sound system along side an older melody might sound familiar to some, especially given the situation. Even to those who wouldn't recognize it though, the voice is practically divine. Every note is something that just seems to come naturally and in every moment of the vocals, he seems to be lost in the melody itself.

Harley Quinn has posed:
Harley Quinn Of course, the Hyena smells their own before they take off " BRUCE " shouts Harley as they yank her along and start to pull her towards the ground . Harley of course, blinks at all the lights and diffrent people and things she kinda fits in with her outfit!

Solaire has posed:
Solaire definitely does not fit in. He glows a little, and his suit is definitely.. informal. His eyes stand out even with the lights on and his interest in the group piques when he notes a familiar Hyena running in, and another hyenalike person on the stage. Interest garnered, having him watch the stage more focused now.

When the other Hyena starts into the venue, a few people initially tense and turn, but when the one on stage perks his ears and motions them in? Apparently the yeen knows something about improv. there's a slight crackle of violet energy along his main as an unseen Force just ever so gently tugs at Harley's shoulder, tugging her towards the stage as the yeen motions for them.

"everything, everything'll be alright."
"everything, everything'll be alright, alright!"

he doesn't miss a beat, or drop the melody. he seems genuinely comfortable performing this particular song and moreover, perfectly comfortable with the sudden appearance of another hyena.

meanwhile, solaire seems to be getting the attention of a few of the party-goers, a few of them even trying to get his attention to compliment him on the look.

Solaire has posed:
Solaire is not, at all, used to compliments like that. So he responds with a few curious blinks and a tilted head, replying with a generic, "Thank you." and a small smile, then attention back to the stage. "Is that someone notable up there?" he asks, brow raised to see how the crowd replies

Kit Killovarras has posed:
One of the crowd who get asked just shrugs and explains, "Just some local kid who helps out over in bushwick." with a smile in response. "Good kid. Little bit weird, but oh well."

Well that could explain the charity event going on, or the fact that the general audience are a general mix of locals and local mutants.

Solaire has posed:
Solaire's still not entirely sure the difference between humans and mutants, and just nods when informed about helping in bushwick. "Little weird?" he asks, "How do you mean? I'm still a touch new." trying to maintain a friendly, not merely polite, demeanour.

Kit Killovarras has posed:
One particular individual seems to have taken notice of Solaire at this point and offers a smile, "Welcome to the area." she says before relaxing back to watch the display of hyenas, one on stage and one particularly close to the crowd by now. "But I mean, looking like that? I wouldn't go out during the day."

It's worth noting that this particular member of the crowd looks a little off. Something about her skin looks a little less like human flesh and a little more like some bizarre sort of stone. "But, that's just me." she says in that strangely cheerful demeanor. "He's been doing it all the time though recently." she says with a tilt of her head. "So I mean, it's a little weird, but--"

and the thought gets ended with the faintest of shrugs.

Harley Quinn has posed:
Harley Quinn Loook like a mutant herself with her outfit with the horns on her head and the tial but hard to say if it's cosplay or real given the crowd.. but she looks around she spots the big hyeana " HI FLUFFY " She cals out loudly giving a huge smile and a wave " I brought the babbies " She says pointing to her hyenas!

Solaire has posed:
The din does make it hard for Solaire to pick out anything, really, so he focuses on the person close to him talking and raises a brow. "Thank you for your welcome, but. Are appearances like that not typical of other groups?" he asks. "People are far more diverse where I'm from, I assume." it's a thoughtful addition. "It seems to be working out for him, whatever weirdness is involved."
