Power Girl needs magic!

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl Sighs and rubs her hair, kinda looking at this item.. Nothing in here works. She's a super genius that can give lex trouble, but she has NO idea what this thing is!.. Worse, it looks like a jack in the box, but even her power can't open it! Thankfully she called for help! she sent a robot with a super sonic Kryptonian ship to go get the help too!

Luckily for Power Girl, Zatanna was free to help out. No show, no crisis, just a nice evening at home curled up on the couch with a book and a mug of nice, strong tea.

The robot ... kinda fouls that up.

Thusly, not too long after, Zee strolls in, lead by the robot. She's dressed in a fuzzy white sweater, leggings and black ballet flats. Comfy and casual. She approaches the frustrated looking Kryptonian and tilts her head. "What's up, Peeg? What's got you looking so ... stumped?"

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl Points and pouts crossing her arms under the pendulous girls before she huffs " that thing.. I got it off a bad guy that could throw fireballs that hurt," she says softly " But I can't open it " she points, " the machine says it's a normal jack in the box, but I can't open it or break it " She frowns .. " Clark said if I find something that makes no science sense to call you " She says and blushes a bit when she spots the woman. "Wow pretty "

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Zee comes closer and peers at the box, extending a hand and her senses at it. She frowns in thought as magic thrums through her. Her head tilts, black hair spilling to one side, then the other as she gets a read on it.

"Well, I'm not sure what's going on, but let's try this." She clears her throat and points at the box. "Nepo!"

The spell is released. Maybe something happens?

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl Boom it opens. Of course, it does because at the end of the spring is not a normal Jack.. but a very familiar figure somebody has carved and inscribed it with magical patterns.. and the item is something that zee would recognize, thankfully its a low-level Fire demon, but it will still corrupt and slowly demonize a human that calls on its powers.. Eventually, that person will become the host for the demon on earth, unleashing it onto the world.

     for her part, Power girl blinks " wooooah " she says, surprised, and eye's full of stars " It worked.. and ewww, it's ugly " she curls her nose. "Wait, you say open backward, and it works " She looks shocked " is that how magic works? " clearly curious!

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Well. That's not what she expected, but she sighs at it. "Typical." She shakes her head at the box. "I'll send this home to deal with later. It won't be your problem anymore, Peeg."

Once more she focuses on the box, and once more she speaks. "Og ot Tsercwodahs." The box shimmers and glitters and then winks out. Gone to be filed away in the vaults of the manor.

"There. And not everybody does magic like this. It's how I was taught. It's ... focusing on the power and the incantation. That's all."

Power Girl Blinks and beams one of those pure sunny smiles " Oh wow, that was so neat," She says " You just," she waves her hands rather excited " And boom it disappeared " She grins " That's neat " She says, " Can I learn? " She asks, then frowns " crap, this is the ant artic. You must be cold.. you wanna come to the warm room? " she asks, suddenly concerned " .

"It's not -quite- something everyone can learn. You have to have the power in you for most of it. You could learn some spells, but there's sacrifice, blood and sweat and tears. It'd take years, and even then the price might not be worth it."

It's like she suddenly realizes where she is and how cold it is. "Yeah, actually. That'd be great. If I tried to warm myself up with magic, I'd set myself on fire."

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl Beams and grabs the other girl lifting her up total princess carrry as she floats right up and flies towards the warm room.. it's cloder to fly but thanfully your soon in a nice room that seems to be bathed in the sun.. nice and perfect in here.. " Thier we go i'm sorry Kal said .. I have to be carful if I invite people not everybody can take the cold here " She smiles

Zee yelps as she's scooped up suddenly and caryed off. You know, she's had worse than this. Especially when they reach a room that is normal temperature for comfort. She smiles slightly, letting the heat do her wonders. "Much better. Thank you, Peeg."
