Date of Scene: 06 March 2023
Location: Brendan Cemetery, Sunnydale
Synopsis: Faith and Spike encounter an amnesiac vampire.
Cast of Characters: Faith Lehane, Spike

Faith Lehane has posed:
It's pretty late, and chilly out tonight in the graveyard. But that's just the way Faith likes it. She doesn't have a fancy slayer bag like Buffy does..Just a simple ornate dagger slipped into the belt of her worn black leather pants, her trusty denim jacket for armour draped over a too short, too tight white baby tee, probably dusty and a bit dirty from lurking around the graveyard.

One has to wonder why she even does these patrols. Likely more for the fun and the rush it gives her, moreso than the desire to actually help people. At any rate, she's sitting on a bench, legs crossed, arms stretched out as she chugs on one of a six pack of beer, casually sitting next to her on the bench. Surely a vamp will just coming running up to her any moment..
Spike has posed:
Spike does not run. He strides. He marches. He saunters. But he does not run. For Spike to run, he would need to be fearful of his light, in which case, he would steal a motorcycle, car, or if need be, truck. Or he would need to be motivated to be somewhere, to help someone he cared about. But right about now, there were precious few people he cared that much about.

Buffy, strangely enough, was one. The little bit was on that list, mostly because of her big sister. Drusilla, after everything they went through, also made the list, so long as she wasn't out to get the other two. Joyce was of course on the list. That lady deserved everything he could do to help her. But that was about it. Okay, maybe Faith, in a pinch. She might be fun to drink with. So long as she wasn't trying to kill him.

So when Spike saunters up to her and the bench, he took a seat, uninvited, plopping down next to her, he said, "hi honey, how're the kids?"
Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith Lehane arches a brow as she senses the vampire before she sees him..But it's 'just Spike', not a 'real threat'. Kinda boring really, since she can beat him up and he can't even fight back. "Wassup, Spike, fantasizing with Buffy again, are you?" she smirks, utterly bemused by his and everyone else's obsession with the other Slayer.

Annnd of course he invites himself down and she rolls her eyes, "Sure, take a seat, feel free to join, May as well drink my beer too while you're at it." Well, she's got too many beers anyway, probably won't be able to drink them all tonight before she has to go pee or something. And there are vamps around here, always are. Why look at all those empty beer cans tossed around... What a mess.
Spike has posed:
"What makes you think I'm not fantasizing about you?" He asked with a smirk. Faith was just as hot, though in a different way. He took one of the beers that was sarcastically offered, "don't mind if I do." They both had great constitutions, but they didn't get superhuman bladders. Drink enough liquid, and they would have to discharge it somehow. Guys could do it a bit easier in a setting like this, but all life had to eventually do it. "How've you been, number two?" Oh, those were fighting words.
Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith Lehane laughs and rolls her eyes, snorting on her beer at that one. "Ugh, please, I'm not Buffy, not into the vamp thing beyond using and dumping. She gets way too emotionally attached to people, especially vampires. I ain't like that so don't think you'd get lucky with me anytime soon..Unless I wanted something from you."

She takes another long sip of her beer, leaning back and enjoying the lightly falling snow. Not cold enough to grab a thick parka or anything..Not yet.."Number two huh? You shitting me? Everyone knows I'm the better freaking Slayer. Cuz I'm not held up by silly rules like she is."

Faith is about to say something else, when a petite blonde girl in a tattered pink prom dress stumbles into the graveyard. Her dress has some blood on it. She looks scared. "Umm...Hello? Someone..Please help me.." scared eyes dart around nervously.
Spike has posed:
He should have laughed, but there was something telling in her reaction. He cocked an eye, reading through her body language, her word choice, her tone of voice. He had caught something in there. It made him pause, contemplatively. But it was ultimately brief. She may have caught it, may not have. He then took a swig of his beer, laughing afterwards, in an attempt to cover what he had seen.

"Oh, you don't like number two. Is it more like she's 1, and you're A?" The competitiveness of these two. It was just a way of denoting that of the current slayers, she was the second one activated. It was unique in all of slayer history. There were no established methods for it.

Spike watched the wannabe prom queen, sizing her up with his eyes, taking note of the blood, where it was, the state of her prom dress, her tone of voice, her scent, so many details he could pick up on, before acting. He wanted to know what he was getting into.
Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith Lehane laughs, tossing her head back, chugging down her beer more quickly as she senses someone approaching, "Yeah, something like that. Guess you're smarter than you look!" she winks at him, jumping to her feet, eyeing the girl warily.

"Please...Help me.." the girl pleads..She seems lost, scared..But the blood on her is not her's. Is she even human? She's got the scent of human on her but hard to tell with all that blood. And she's crying, "I don't know how I got here..lMy boyfriend..Someone hurt him..Please..Help him! H-he's over there.." she shivers, pointing to a large tree not far off.
Spike has posed:
Spike wasn't insulted by that. He was often the smartest person in the room, at least socially. Trouble was, he didn't always put his emotional intelligence to the best use. He got bored. He looked to Faith, already getting up and discarding the remaining beers. He could have absconded with them while she was distracted by the prom queen, but for now, he remained seated. He glanced in the direction of the alleged boyfriend, and got up, senses on alert as he kept looking, smelling, listening, trying to discern the problems. But he made his way into the bushes, heading in the direction she had asked... That way Faith could console the poor girl.
Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith Lehane isn't really one for consoling..Well anyone. She just snorts at her, pulling off her scarf and tossing it to her. "You're a mess, take this." the girl blinks, wiping blood off her face and nods, leading the way back to the site. Oh..It looks like it must have happened maybe an hour ago. Far enough off that neither of them would have noticed til now.

Its a dead body, his blood drained. His blood smells the same as the blood on the girl, who stares down at him, sobbing uncontrollably..Oh yes, of course..There are the telltale fang marks, and...Is that blood trickling down the corner of her mouth? Well there was..Until she hastily wipes it away..
Spike has posed:
If it were Xander, or Riley, or Wesley, the reaction would have been quite different. But from Spike, he studied the corpse, looked back to the girl, and his lips curled into a wide smile, "you offed your boyfriend, and then tried to lure us into a trap so you could suck on us too?" He laughed a bit, then sounded serious, "that's devious, I like you." He did not seem the least be worried about facing a vampire, and no doubt Faith felt the same way.
Faith Lehane has posed:
Faith Lehane frowns, shaking her head, clearly co ing to the same conclusion. "Well shit, that's messed up. What the hell were you thinking, that you could fool us so easily?" she laughs, terribly amused, wondering just how stupid this girl is. Probably a newly minted vamp. She doesn't even bother pulling out her dagger, letting Spike deal with this.

At this point, one would think that the girl would reveal her true colors, but instead she looks shocked, scared..Moreso now than before. "Huh..What are you talking about? I just...I just found him here! Someone killed him, and it wasn't me! I swear! Please! They might be around! I'm sooo scared!" she collapses to her knees, sobbing like crazy now as she hugs Faith's warm flannel scarf for comfort. Well this is different.
Spike has posed:
Spike blinked several times, then looked around, wondering if this was a feint, some kind of a double scam. "Why don't you babysit Barbie," he said, disappearing into the bushes, to look for anyway to spring a potential trap. Either that, or he was going to double back to the bench, take all of Faith's beer, and head back to his crypt. One of those two, definitely.
