Making sure things are settled.
Date of Scene:	14 September 2023
Location:	Angelica Jones' Apartment, Morrisania
Synopsis:	Sam came by to make sure things were getting settled in the new place.

Firestar has posed:
A text, an invite, a greeting, and a motion to have a seat on the couch. Angelica's place isn't overly complicated, but it is functional. She motions Sam to a seat on the couch and offers,"I have water, maybe a Corona or two, and a partial bottle of Evan Williams...that's about it."

She will hug him if he is inclined, but since she isn't wearing the suit that protects other from radiation she keeps her distance. Currently just wearing some cut off jeans and a black t-shirt with an American flag being held by Wonder Woman. She always was a fan girl.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie has brought a basket with a few things as a house warming gift, fruits, meats, and a bottle of wine. He does give her a hug, not seeming to worry much about the radiation. He does let her keep the distance she is comfortable with afterwards "So, nice place." He offers.

Firestar has posed:
She returns the hug of course and shakes her head at his lack of concern,"You like living dangerously." she tells him softly and takes the basket,"Thank you for the gift and the visit."

She looks around the room and smiles a little,"It's getting there. The rent was paid up by who the landlord said was Santa Claus. I suspect there are only one or two Santa's in this world and the description they gave me put it on the nose."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "Well I know my Santa usually has a Brazilian accent." He jokes a bit at this and says "Well, if you need anything from me to help out with it when ya get past let me know. Can either get ya some work at the club or might be able to help with a loan if ya need it."

Firestar has posed:
Angelica and Sam are talking near the living area. She has a basket of goodies that likely came from him. The two of them are talking easy like old friends.

"I suspect mine is Canadian. Whether a tall benefactor with a wife who acts as his conscience or a shorter, stockier, take no prisoners type that likes whiskey and cigars." she explains to him about her theories.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "Well, Ah know an old song about wearing bandages because of Santa's Claws, but that might be a bit different." He jokes with a smile and says "Most people talk about me trying to watch after folks but there are a few other who do it if not more, just keep a bit low profile with it.

Copycat has posed:
there is a click at the door and it slowly opens , in comes in copy cat though she's got her human looks going on as she drags a rather small suitcase with her.. She looks around spotting firestar and sam she lifts an eyebrow but smiles " Honey I'm home "

Firestar has posed:
She laughs and shakes her head,"That paints a picture Sam. You're killing me." A sigh and she goes to get two glasses,"Pick your poison Guthrie. I know the selection is slim and the picking few..."

She pauses when she hears the key hit the lock. There aren't too many with a key, but when she sees Vanessa enter she smiles broadly and moves to intercept her,"Hello beautiful. I've missed you." she offers and kisses the woman with a quick brush of the lips,"Want to join in the drink? I don't know what it is yet, but Corona, Evan Williams, or water are the options."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smiles a bit and says "I knew I should have brought you a jar of Uncle Luke's shine." He jokes but he does stand to get his drink as Angelica greets Vanessa ""I will go with a Corona for now." He offers with a smile.

Copycat has posed:
Copycat Giggles and smiles she seems to reconize the other fellow but she smiles " I brought some wine if you like too .. I brought it to celebrate at least till my kitchen stuff gets here "

Firestar has posed:
Reaching into the refrigerator, Angelica gets a bottle of Corona for Sam and even a nice wedge of lime too. She opens the bottle and places the wedge. She sets the bottle on the counter near Sam.

She glances to Vanessa and then gets down to long stem, but plastic glasses for the wine. Fancy...sort of,"I like the way you are thinking love." she tells her with a wink and goes looking for a cork screw. It takes a minute, then she finds one,"Need to get those her soon. This place is pretty desperate."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Well if you end up having a house warming let me know what you need, and Ah will try to make sure to bring something you actually need not a 5th blender or something.

Copycat has posed:
Copycat Chuckles and ndos her head " yeah I ordred a bunch of tools they show arrive tomorrow or something "s he beams " So that way we'll ahve all the cooking stuff " She smiles

Firestar has posed:
Angelica takes the cork screw and looks at the bottle,"Uh...reality. Probably one of you will have to open that. Afraid I might damage the wine fighting the cork." She hands it over to Vanessa.

She looks at Sam and winks,"If we have a get together I will send out the message. We have a blender already, microwave too." She winks playfully and she adds,"Cash is always good." Of course she is teasing.

Her attentoin moves back to Vanessa,"I will try to be here tomorrow. I have classes at NYU until 11:30, but I will get back here after that."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "When Ah moved out, had to about threaten Berto to not hire me a interior decorator, Ah think if Ah got my own place again, he would hire one without telling me."

Copycat has posed:
Copycat Grins as she smiles " She picked this place.. I just got here " She says to sam before she starts to work on the wine bottle with a chuckle.. making sure not to ruin the corck so it can be put back into the bottle.

Firestar has posed:
"I wish I could say there was some grand plan, but honestly I wanted out and I needed a place quick. Red heads butting heads wasn't going to end well or likely end without a little space." she tells them.

She waves around the room,"There is a lot of space. Some wasted, but there's nothing for it. It's not like I want to start putting in bunk beds unless it becomes a necessity. For now, it's ours for a year, paid in full. Just a matter of using it."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "Well, Ah will suggest a good slow cooker, a great thing to throw something in and have something to eat when your getting home a couple hours after you had planned on being home.

Copycat has posed:
Copycat Nods her head " i don't need much other than a nice kitchen " she says with a smile " The advantage I have is I don't need alot of clothes " she chuckles " So it's mostly just tooth brush and the like "

Firestar has posed:
"I don't think we have a slow cooker yet. You're right about them though. It should be on the list for sure." Angelica agrees with Sam,"The one we had when I was growing up saved a lot of pb and j nights afte grandma passed."

She looks towards Vanessa and snorts,"Show off. Wish you could teach me that one. My power can cost a fortune in clothes when I have to shift to Firestar out of the blue. Spidey owes me two dresses of late."
