Out to sea in the sky.
Date of Scene:	26 September 2023
Location:	Out over the Atlantic Ocean.
Synopsis:	Sam and Angelica took a flight together over the ocean. Among other things they got shot at by a whale's blow hole.

Firestar has posed:
Flying over the ocean, Angelica glances to her side, touching an ear piece and offering,"These aren't near as good as the ones at the mansion, but at least I can hear you over your blast field." Clearly a tease in her tone.

She looks up ahead and motions towards a boat, angling off to the north to avoid passing over the boat and getting people worked up.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie comes up beside her, and says over his com "Well Ah can do this." He concentrates a bit and the roar of his blast field dulls quite a bit. He is not going flat out speed, but still covering ground quite quickly. "Can you hear me a bit better now?" He asks. He looks over to her for a moment with a smile, but she can tell it is taking a bit of concentration for him to go quieter.

Firestar has posed:
"Five by five." she replies and returns the smile. Looking back ahead of them again, she notes another boat and alters course,"Maybe we weren't the only ones that wanted to be out over the ocean." she comments and checks over head as well,"Seems like every time I fly out here I meet someone new. Angel, Mary Marvel, and Power Girl just to name a few."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie hmms and nods his head a bit to this and will bank to follow her, and says "Hey, Ah first met Spider-man when Ah was out shopping for a Christmas present for my Ma, and some giant electrical being was having a rampage." He looks about to see what the boat seems to be up to.

Firestar has posed:
A smile touches her features and Angelica nods,"In all the world you get one best friend. The one guy or gal you can turn to no matter what. As my life goes, he's been mine for a long time. He has a girlfriend that is almost as cool as him." she admits.

She rolls to her side, still flying forward, but facing Sam. Side flying. Some people need a hobby,"How is your family? I need to hear good things about family. I don't get to tell those tales myself."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Pretty good, at least you have not had your best friend dating your sister." He offers her a bit of info she might have missed. "Paige and Jay are both doing pretty good out on their own and helping out where they can. Jay's band is doing really well." He offers to her. Melody is coming up to the school soon and Jeb will probably be sometime soon.

Firestar has posed:
The smile is a little more wistful as he talkes about the family. A sigh and she admits,"I might evny you just a little Sam. Siblings, mom, dad...I hope you know how good you have it. Crazy as they might make you." She chuckles a little and goes back to flying normally,"Shall we take Berto out and threaten him within an inch of his life?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smirks a bit and says "Already did that, but then again, as much as he talks, Ah do trust him, he would not do anything to hurt her. He might sound like a loud mouth at times, but he actually treats a lady with respect." He admits, and then follows her flight path "Yea, they may have drove me crazy at time, but yea, Ah don't know what Ah would do without them to be honest."

Firestar has posed:
"Well, if he ever shades the line let me know. I'm more objective. Take the crazy my friend. Take it and run." she muses and angles them away from something else. A shadow under the water. She doesn't realize it at first, but then slows and pulls up short,"What the heck is that?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will do a circle to come back, before he starts to hover over the area looking down. The southern gentleman maybe looking a bit like a giant firefly possibly to what ever is below them.

Firestar has posed:
Angelica stays a little wide of it so she isn't over it. Her head cocks to one side and she frowns. Then a spray of water comes up and a whale breaks the surface. She waves her hands infront of her face and floats up,"Wow. That's a smell." she mutters, thankful she wasn't over it.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will get splashed, but is able to jet up before he does a Jonas impression. The young man looks down at the whale, but his eyes move towards the boat that was about to make sure it is ok still "OK I am not supposed to be bait." He says.

Firestar has posed:
She flies around the whale and starts out towards the ocean more,"I don't know. You might be a cute piece of bait. Maybe a bikini top and Daisy Dukes." Sometimes she is ruthless when she teases and this would be one of those times.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Your just wanting me to wear that so you can follow me around Ah know how it is." He jokes back, not quite as easy to make blush as he used to be "He continues along and will fly out in front of her a moment, and goes side to side for a bit to jokingly give her a view.

Firestar has posed:
Angelica laughs, shaking her head at the antics,"Nice ass Sam. I will have to make sure to tell someone." Clearly teasing. Tempting as it might be, she doesn't send a little burst of fire to the backside. Instead she flies a little quicker and evens up again,"If it's reciprication you are looking for handsome, keep looking." She winks and settles to a flying course again,"Maybe later." Clearly teasing.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie chuckles a bit back at her, and says "Well when it comes to flying aint a lot of folks, who get to fly in front of me." He teases back, but then that is his thing fast and through things. "So, how is the new place and living arrangements going?"

Firestar has posed:
"Well I will stay out from infront of you then." she teases and hmms softly,"It gets a little lonely on the nights Vanessa isn't there, but over all it's good. It's the first time I have ever really been on my own. Well, mostly. They said Santa Clause paid my first year like I told you, but once in a while the night gets lonely. A little easier when you don't worry as much about the neighbors like most single girls have to."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "Well if you ever need someone to talk to you can call me, or come out to the club or something. Ah can pretty much head up to the office to talk and keep an eye on things."

Firestar has posed:
"I appreciate offer." she tells him,"You know you're always welcome too." They are getting pretty far out over the ocean so Angelica slows and floats over the water. She takes a deep breath of the air,"I will come to the club sometime. I need to get out more."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie well come up to hover again and says "I will put ya on the email chain if you want, lets you know when we are having special nights and such. Been a while, but a while back Lila and Allison both played in one week down there."

Firestar has posed:
"I make no promises, but put me on the list, especially is Allison is playing." she replies,"Maybe I can drag Vanessa out with me and see what sort of trouble we can get into. Need to have fun some. Classes in sesssion now are mostly review, but still have to do it."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "Yea, Ah got a few classes as well, Aint been doing it full time, but working on a business degree, figure if Ah am going to run things Ah should know what Ah am doing, you know?"

Firestar has posed:
"Guthrie..." she sighs softly,"...I don't know that either one of us will ever know who we are until we are pushing up daisies." She winks and starts back towards the shore,"I suspect it's going to be interesting finding out though."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie chuckles a bit and says "Ah think we both know what we are us. It is just going to take others a while to figure which box to put us in, and then someone else to figure out how to keep us in those boxes."

Firestar has posed:
"I like messing with the boxes she admits and flies almost close enough to bump him, but she knows that with his blast shield in place she'd get bounced she he just has to assume she's bumping him and flying on,"I'm for wasting people's time."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will swirve as if bumped but continue on after her, and says "Been doing it for years, don't see it changing anytime soon. Heck, Ah think that might be most of our generation

Firestar has posed:
A soft breath and she tells him,"We need to make a habit of this I think. Just getting away from the land and seeing the water." She looks over at him and asks,"You think you're up for that. Maybe a regular Monday night thing of flying? Maybe better to make it a rotating night rather than being predictable."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "Yea, we could maybe call each other on monday and then roll a dice or something to keep it random. That way we don't let anyone get us aware. Ah mean how embaressing would it be to be taken by a flying garbage truck going farump."

Firestar has posed:
A smirk and she continues towards the land again,"It's a date, so to speak." she agrees,"Maybe on the weekend we can drag Vanessa up with us or we can just keep it between the old school." she offers,"Sometimes we need to keep it to the old days..." She pauses in that thought and her eyes close a moment. She shakes it off and admits,"...sometimes different is better."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over to her, and says "And sometimes, we can make new with old school roots, to find the best of both ways." He tells her as he cuts his blast field just before dropping to the ground.

Firestar has posed:
Angelica lands as well and agrees,"Make new friends, but keep the old." she recites,"One's is silver and the other gold." Once the blast field is down she does walk over to give him a hug,"I'd tell you I missed you while I was in Canada, but I know that would go right to your head." she teases and rests her head on his shoulder a moment. Just an old friend embrace.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie rubs her back and says "Hey just remember, be it across the street, or across the galaxy we are always in one another's heart, and will move heaven and earth to help one another."

Firestar has posed:
She turns her head and kisses his cheek lightly,"My heart thinks of you regularly Sam Guthrie. Never forget that." She sighs and rests her head on his shoulder once more,"You call and I'm there. Every time."

After a moment she pulls back from him and looks towards the sky again,"I should probably find my way home to make sure everything is ready for tomorrow."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and hugs her for a long moment, giving her the support he can and says "Well let me know when ya get home." He offers her much like a big brother would. No matter she can fry most anyone who messes with her. "Ah think Ah am going to go by the Dinner, and grab something to eat."

Firestar has posed:
"I'll call." she tells him playfully,"Good to know someone is looking out for me." she teases and rises into the air,"I'd consider the diner, but I have some left over pizza and a date with at least one book. Good night Sam. Talk to you Monday if not before." She flies off into the night towards home and he hears her voice tease on the com before she passes out of range,"No watching my tail flying away."
