Green Ranger has posed:
It was Sunday afternoon at Angel Grove Centre, and Tommy Oliver had come to the shopping mall with Kimberly Hart, before planning to hit up the travelling Fair Ground that had been set up in the parking lot. As part of the deal, the fair only opened while the mall was closed, so as not to have conflicts in terms of food and entertainment money. It was still a little under two hours before the fair would be open, with its ferris wheels, water rides, target games, and more.

He wore his black jeans, a forest green t-shirt, black hoodie, unzipped, which had green arms, and green trim around the neck, waist, and along the zipper. He loved to include green into his clothes, with usually white or black as another colour to help give him some variety. Every once in a while he might wear some other combination with green, but he was fairly set in his ways.

He was carrying some bags in one hand, items purchased earlier, some for himself, others for her, as he walked alongside Kimberly. "How many more stores did you want to hit up?"
Pink Ranger has posed:
A shopping mall with Kimberly was a dangerous place to be! Not in the monster sense, but in the 'I could use some new shoes' sense, and it showed. Herself wrapped in a black skirt, jacket over her shoulders matching and a bright pink undershirt. Under her hands, the girl grinned as they walked along, a little tilt of her head as she considered, the young woman looks up. "I mean, there -was- that new place that opened up...and there's a sale on some of the swimwear and...oh, we could try that frozen yogurt place..."
Green Ranger has posed:
Tommy was prepared. He had been training all his life for moments just like these. Fighting putties and Goldar was just practice, building muscle, so that he could support the weight of countless mall purchases. His zen training in martial arts was to give him the mental fortitude. He didn't complain, he didn't whine, and he didn't try to sneak out through any of the emergency exits that he totally didn't notice along this journey. "So, which one is closest, the new place, the swimwear one, or the yogurt place?"
Pink Ranger has posed:
"First one, then the other?" Kimberly offers lightly, tilting her head to the side and considering. "I mean, the last time I had something cute swimswear wise I ended up getting it half-smiled, half-melted when we were dealing with that weird toad thing that jumped Trini and I at the beach." A little shrug, she moves to tug him along with a grin. "Tell you what, you pick our next stop and -then- we can go."
Green Ranger has posed:
"Oh, the swimwear shop is the new one? I thought you meant it was a third place," Tommy said, getting a better understanding now. "Oh, then you're due for something new, and hopefully toad-proof too." He playfully fights the tug, for all of about half a second, before following along with her direction, "then I pick the mall as our next stop, and if you want to get new swimwear and yogurt at that next stop, so be it." He winks, giving her what he thought she wanted. Of course, he liked yogurt too, and he was hardly going to say no to going to a swimwear shop with Kimberly. Shoes maybe, but swimwear? No, not going to be an issue.
Pink Ranger has posed:
"One of," Kimberly offers lightly as they move along, giving a little laugh. "The other place was more general clothing." A little shift, she moves through the doorway and beckons them in. A little laugh, she considers. "So...I guess I get to see if they have anything fun in pink, black or...maybe you could help me pick something out for when the sunny seasons roll around again."
Green Ranger has posed:
"We can go there too if you want," he adds, feeling as though there is always one more store, just to keep him on his toes. But whether he's here, back at home, the Youth Centre, the Command Centre, places that aren't called Centre, he was happy, for he was with Kimberly. "Hey, sun or no sun, there's always the West Starling Aquatic Centre. I love the wave pool, and that water slide." He followed along, seeing the clothes on the racks, "oh, that's a nice one," and he gestured to a Waikiki pattern, mostly in pink, with a lighter shade of pink, almost pattern.
Pink Ranger has posed:
Cute, colorful and with a decent patterning too, Kimberly actually smiles as they walk in, giggling a little and then facing the man with a grin. "Look at you with the colorful and 'happy' choices," she teases lightly, grinning and reaching to look at the outfit. "But you're right, the pool is the right way to do the comfort and sun thing. We should make a plan like that and make a date out of it, or see if the others want to join us." she trails, reaching to a pair of dark green shorts with a simple trim. It -was- his color after all. "We -could- get something for you...but I figure pink isn't really something you're as keen to rock."
Green Ranger has posed:
"It seemed like the sort of thing you'd like, Kimberly," he said of his bright and cheerful suggestion. He was still carrying the bags, all in one hand, though he would switch which hand carried them from time to time as they were digging a little into his skin. "Absolutely, we'll make a day of it, with as many of our friends who want to come. We could even invite Bulk and Skull. I think they might feel left out a lot of the time." He wasn't too friendly with either, but they had known each other for long enough that they were kind of like extended family? the ones you don't like that much. As for the pink, "oh, I might surprise you. Just for that, if you can find some hot pink swim shorts in my size, I'll rock them." He laughed, and sounded serious.
Pink Ranger has posed:
"Challenge excepted," Kimberly grins, turning back to the shelves and then glancing over her shoulder. "Hell, I might have a pair of shorts you could squeeze into, I'd only show the pictures to Trini...okay, maybe the others..." she trails off before turning to hand the shorts to him...and another, and about three other pieces of beachwear for him...and she hand't even started on herself yet!

"I hear that Bulk's club is actually doing pretty well, tropical theme and all."
Green Ranger has posed:
Tommy, like most of his friends, had dominant hues in his wardrobe. That was true even before they became Power Rangers, so it was fate, or just coincidence, but he almost always wore something green, just as Kimberly had pink, Trini yellow, and so on, when they went out. "Swim shorts? I doubt it," he laughed, "but maybe some of your gym ones, if they're stretchy enough. Do they stretch that much?" She was decidedly more slender than he was. And he blushed at the threat of sharing photos of him wearing it with Trini, "oh, I think she'd claim you photoshopped it, and demand proof." He accepted the handed swimwear, then another, and another, being piled on top of his free hand. "Oh yeah? What kind of club was this again?"
Pink Ranger has posed:
At least black was a nice pairing color, and sure enough Green and Pink actually complemented each other. In fact, Kimberly actually turns around with a pink two-piece with green piping and tiny-dot pattern to prove the point. She comes to hold it against her form and tilt her head questioningly for his opinion. "You're probably right, guess I'd have to go for video..."
Green Ranger has posed:
Tommy laughed and shook his head back and forth, "I'd rather Trini, or they, see in person. Once something is recorded, it can be put on the internet, and then it's there forever." He knew how often people would make something for one person, only for it to later, through accident or malice, find its way elsewhere. With his hands full, he could only communicate with his voice and facial expressions. The smile suggested he approved, "I think you should get them all, but that is a lot of money. So, whichever one or ones you like most. I just know you'll look great in them all."
Pink Ranger has posed:
"Halloween then maybe," she teases lightly before coming to lift a hand to his cheek and lean in for a little peck of thanks. His comment on the money? Well, she bites her bottom lip. "So...you know how I picked up the gold at the last contest?" she questions lightly, a little sing-song on her tones. "My treat...and now you know why I need to practice so much, feeding the habbit."
Green Ranger has posed:
"Halloween? Sure, though one of these years, we finally have got to dress up as Flynn Rider and Rapunzel." His cheek warmed and took on a rosy hue from her peck of thanks. "Yeah, I'm so proud of you. You did it Kimberly, I knew you could, I never stopped believing, but the medal isn't, or shouldn't be the main thing. You did your best. That's what really matters. Of course, you do look great with that medal around your neck too."
Pink Ranger has posed:
"And the prize money has been pretty good too," she tilts her head to the side, a smile coming from Kimberly as she leans in once more. "And you've always had my back too Tommy." A beat, she leans in to whisper, "Even if you were kinda kicking my butt the first time I met you...but I'm not gonna hold it against you. Since, y'know, you're a pretty good cuddler."
Green Ranger has posed:
He never asked her about the prize money, how much, but he did think about it, as she referenced it. "That too," was all he said, agreeing, and he tilted his head, mirroring her own, giving her back a similar smile. "And I always will, just like you've always had my back." They let that hang in the silence, just enjoying each other's company, before she leaned in to whisper, and he tilted his head so that it was easier for her to reach his ear. He frowned at first, memories to how he was put under Rita Repulsa's spell. "Even under her spell, I still held off against you." At least he wanted to think he did. It felt nice to think that. Though at the mention of his cuddling, he tried to wrap his arms around her to hug, except one hand had several swimsuits, and the other hand had bags, so it was awkward, but he tried.
Pink Ranger has posed:
It wasn't honestly something Kimberly was usually happy to talk about. A little strain echoed from the life of dealing with her family's nature as the wealthy sort. Hell, the first time she'd met Zack her father had got him fired over a salad order, so it was a miricle that she made the friends she did.

That catch of the tone has her considering, it wasn't exactly unknown to her that he had some hard feelings for the memories of his time controlled.

"C'mon, lets pay for these and head home. I can keep receipts and we can try them on later."
Green Ranger has posed:
Tommy bit his bottom lip in that oh so cute way, watching, eyes glued to Kimberly's. Were he a telepath, he'd have read her thoughts, but as he wasn't, he could only go on her body language. And she was so often perky, cheerful, a team player, just so bright and positive, that moments where she was regretful were hard to read. It was so unlike her. "Sure, the fair outside will be here tomorrow as well. I think it's here all week. So no rush on that." He lifted up the items in one hand that she had picked out, and then looked around the massive store, "um? where's the checkout counter?" All he could see was clothes as far as the eye could see, and a few supporting walls, change rooms, and the like.
Pink Ranger has posed:
And like that, back to smiles, a little nod to his words and a little 'oh!' of excitement. "Maybe I can win -you- a giant teddy bear this time!" she teases before turning. Baring any supernatural mischief? Kimberly could definately navigate the store. Even then, Rita would have to cast one heck of a spell to beat Kim's shopper senses! "C'mon you, lets go!"
