Green Ranger has posed:
After some intensive training at the Angel Grove Youth Centre, Tommy Oliver had hit the shower, changing into a white crew neck t-shirt, green jacket, kind of like a rain jacket, made from a nylon that wicked moisture away, but without being heavy. As this was the Pacific West Coast of Canada, snow wasn't an issue, by periodic rain was. He also wore blue jeans, almost black, and forest green sneakers.

He collected up his workout clothes into a duffel bag, tied his hair in a ponytail, and headed out. He had plans to meet Kimberly at the Big Belly Burger for lunch, and he didn't want to be late. But of course, he would miss his bus, running after it as it drove away. Leaning his head up to the sky, he said, "oh, come on!" And with a shake of his head, he let out a mighty sigh.

And he began to run. Like Forrest Gump. He ran. Kimberly was going to kill him if he was late.
Pink Ranger has posed:
Tommy Oliver was many things: a talented martial artist, an excellent ranger and a caring boyfriend...but punctual? Well, that wasn't always the case. She had grown accustomed to it...and he really did try, but that didn't mean there weren't slips now and then and Kimberly wasn't above some light-hearted picking at him for it.

Especially when it left her leaning outside the fast food restaurant, tapping away at her phone and sending a little mesage to him that she was here and...well, standing around to wait.

Dressed in her jacket and a pair of jeans pulled over the yoga gear she'd been wearing for her own excercise nearby there was a moment where the brunette had to give an eyeroll to someone looking a little -too- long her way and zip up her jacket before she exhaled a breath.

"Maybe he'd beat me here if I offered to pay for his post-workout burger..." she mused aloud in self-amusement.
Green Ranger has posed:
Tommy came running, by this point having established quite the rhythm, even with the duffel bag strapped around his back making it a little awkward. His mobile phone had periodically beeped with regular messages from the other Rangers, nothing on his morpher, so it wasn't vital, from Kimberly, or things like, someone had commented on a YouTube video he had replied to.

But in his mind, he was hearing that song from Chariots of Fire. He was spending almost as much time in the air as he was touching the pavement. And when he turned the corner, he grabbed a metal pole, to help control him so he didn't go careeming into the road. A few more paces, and yes, he reached the promise land. Big Belly Burger? Okay, so it wasn't really the promised land, but Kimberly was there.

He began to talk, except, he was out of breathe, and he bent over, gasping for air, catching it. Athlete or not, he had managed to... "wait, is that my bus?" It was just pulling in. He had beat the bus. That'd serve him right for mistiming things. Even if he had caught it, he'd have still been late. And to think, he just had a shower, and now he was all sweaty again!
Pink Ranger has posed:
Go Green Ranger....truely he had defeated a great foe; the public transport system. Yet here he was, here was Kim...and she was raising her eyebrows as he arrived breaking hard, a little sweaty and...

She sighs, giving him a little smile as the girl in pink moved closer, touching him on the shoulder. "Did you skip out on cardio or something?"
Green Ranger has posed:
Taking his time to catch his breath, and buoyed by the hand on his shoulder, he said, "Imissedmybuss." Okay, so he was still a little winded. Trying again, "I missed my bus. That bus," he gestured as people were filing out, and others getting on. "But, I may have double messed up the timing. Even if I had caught it, I'd have been late." Reaching up to his forehead, he wiped a little of the sweat away, so it wasn't glistening anymore. "So, shall we? I'll buy you a Strawberry Milkshake?"
Pink Ranger has posed:
"Well I'm suprised you didn't teleport," she teases before nodding, offering her hand out to him only to withdraw it at how sweaty he was. "Lets get you a napkin or two first, right?" Oh well, she'd deal, her hand does reach out again to try adn claim his.
Green Ranger has posed:
A quick glance around, to make sure that no one was listening, "I try to only use my powers for good. I'm not sure Zordon had that in mind to try and make a lunch date." He held her hand in his, only to see her abruptly pull it back. Though it was sweet for her to take his hand even with him being in this state. He'd hold hers for a moment, "uh, how about you order for us, while I try and clean up in the bathroom." He lifted his shoulder a bit, as he had a duffel bag with deodorant and other things.

Once inside, he'd break off, heading to the bathroom, which was one room that could be locked, so he was in luck. He would take off his shirt, run water, use the paper towel, deodorant, and what he could to give himself at least an upper body wash, to be somewhat presentable. A few moments later, top replaced, he'd re-emerge, heading over to where Kimberly was and give her a quick kiss on her hair.
Pink Ranger has posed:
"Fair," Kimberly offers before they break away, making to do her part and place the orders for the food. She might not have added the high-intensity run like he had, but she had worked up an appetite too. With their usual choices made there's a grin at the kiss and a little lazy leaning of her shorter form against him while they wait. "Do we find a booth?"
Green Ranger has posed:
"Unless you want to get it to go? Nice, leisurely walk, grab the next bus, a taxi, eat on a park bench, or you know, abuse our power, like you had suggested I do earlier." He wasn't exactly 'tall', just among the tallest of their own little social group. And he had a good bit of height on her. Gymnasts were often on the petite side. "What did you order?" He asked, "and how much do I owe you for my half?" Which was funny, as he probably ate more than she did.
Pink Ranger has posed:
"I suppose a park -is- better than just some booth in the place where...they probably need to wipe a table down again," Kimberly offers lightly before shrugging and gesturing for Tommy to move with her. "Shall we?"
