Location:	Angelica Jones' Apartment, Morrisania
Synopsis:	Sam came by to visit with Angelica and they got caught up.

Firestar has posed:
Angelica is at home. She told Sam he was welcome whenever so she isn't expecting company, but not against said company. Right now she is sitting on her couch in a loose t-shirt and a pair of shorts, scowling at her Philosophy book and contemplating making it all smokey and stuff.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie had to come into town to handle a few things, and ended up not to far from Angelica's place. So with a quick stop at one of the local delis and a bodaga, he finds himself knocking on her door, with a couple bags in hand.

Firestar has posed:
Getting up from the couch, Angelica pads over to the door and peeks out before opening it. She has a smile on her face when she does,"Hey stranger. It's been a minute."

She looks at the bags in askance and then motions,"Would you like to come in?" She takes a step back and to the side to allow entrance,"You should be careful out there. Halloween is coming and the weirdos are starting to come out of an evening."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie grins and says "Well this weirdo brings food for three." He offers showing the deli bag. "Ah was having to come into town to talk to a distributor, and realized Ah was close by, thought Ah would grab some food and come by and catch up, if your not busy."

Firestar has posed:
She chuckles softly and waves him towards the kitchenette. Closing the door behind him, she walks towards the bedroom area to grab a pair of sweat pants so she is a little more fit for company.

"You know the way to my heart Sam. Food is never a bad choice and I don't always stop to eat." She pauses and laughs at herself finally,"So I always harp on one of my friends about him not eating. It's a maddening circle I think."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie chuckles a bit and says "Well, Ma, taught me not to go visiting without bringing something, and when folks are still new in their house food can be something that they aint up to. Ah know ya got a chef living with ya, but figured she might want a night off from the stove." He says as he moves to the kitchen pulling stuff from bags and sitting it on the table.

Firestar has posed:
Sitting on the edge of the bed, Angelica pulls the sweats on and heads towards where he is in the kitchen area,"I always wanted to meet your ma, but I figured that would send the wrong signals." she admits when she is in the kitchen area again,"As for my chef. She only lives here part time. She has some things too do this weekend so I am not even sure she will make it in this weekend." She looks at the things he starts unpacking curiously.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and got a couple classic deli sandwiches and fries as well as her favorite soda from the bodaga. He looks over and says "Well if ma knows ya coming as a friend it aint no thing. When Ah take a girl to meet ma for the more awkward meetings, she knows it is coming and so does the girl.

Firestar has posed:
She chuckles softly and takes the soda that he brings for her. She studies the food and tells him,"Sometimes I just miss my mom and listening to you talk about yours helps me remember that there was time when I had a good parent that loved me for me." She winks and leans on the counter to talk for now,"No awkward would be good though."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Well, if ya ever need a mom to talk to, Ah am sure we could sneak ya in and she might not even notice there is an extra head about." He jokes

Firestar has posed:
A soft chuckle and Angelica nods,"It's a deal. As long as she doesn't catch the shock of red hair I think I will be in." Crossing her arms she sighs and asks,"You ever miss the old days? Before things got so complicated? When the worst issue we had was school rivalry and how to make sure we didn't destroy the house around us?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie will remind her "Josh.. err Jay has red hair and red wings, so you might still be good there." He smirks a bit and says "Well we were always the best school, so still got that." He teases a bit to her, and says "Ah don't know still sorta the same for me, Ah mean Ah worry more about the current students, but Ah was always a bit worried about Rhane, or Berto, so still there."

Firestar has posed:
"Then I'm in." Angelica says about the red headed sibling,"Be like one of the family." She smiles a little and sips her drink,"No arguement there. Your school is better than mine was by a long shot. Convenient it burned to the ground leaving the superior one without competition for a while."

She considers for a long moment and nods,"I worry about the young ones too. I know I need to be helping, but things are...complicated. Never say never." She smiles at the mention of Phane and Berto,"I haven't seen either of them in a while. I saw Lorna around the mansion when I was there, but that's about it. I see you here and there."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "Yea, with things Ah see some folks more than others. Ah run into Rogue on a pretty regular bases." He admits a bit "You heard anything from your side of things?"

Firestar has posed:
"Jimmy went home to take care of life. I haven't talked to Jenny, Catseye, or any of the others since that night." Angelica admits,"I don't really harbor bad intent towards the other Hellions, I just...when I went to Alpha Flight I lost track of them all and never bothered to look. You and Tabitha are the only ones from the New Mutants I have much interaction with so I guess I should be more mindful of the past."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie shrugs a bit and says "Ah aint heard anything much either, last Ah heard Mara and Manuel had spent some time together, but Ah don't know what either of them are up to to be honest." He will look to her and says "Want a specific sandwich or we split them up?"

Firestar has posed:
She hmms thoughfully and reaches into a drawer. She comes back with a knife and slides away from the counter. She turns towards the sandwiches. Absently she rolls the knife hilt through her fingers in an easy, lazy rotation of the blade and back to the top. She cuts the sandwiches in half and tells him,"Share is good. Gives you the chance to experience more things."

Wiping the blade off, she sets it in the sink and wipes her hands on a small towel. In a cabinet above, she takes down a large plate, almost a platter, and sets it down to collect the sandwiches on,"You want to eat at the table or over on the couch?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie hmmms and says "We can hit the couch, a bit more comfortable to sit on and if we are both eating off the platter we can sit it on the coffee table. Then you can fill me in on how it is to be in the big leagues."

Firestar has posed:
Angelica takes the platter and grabs two more plates as well. She wealks over to the couch and sets the plates down before sitting as well,"THe big leagues? It is...intense and even a little scary. I have met some fantastic people and some intense people. Well, one insanely intense person. Not a bad man, just very intense."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie 's brow raises as he walks over to sit down with her and says "Scott intense, or Eric intense." He hmmms and says "Still feels a bit odd calling him Eric, Headmaster or Magneto both come more natural."

Firestar has posed:
She chuckles softly and hmms thoughtfully,"Would you believe something all together different and in a lot of ways, worse?" she asks playfully,"He is this dark and brooding warrior with a level of intellect that would rival Xavier or Eric. I don't know what his power is for sure, but scaring the Hell out of people seems to be high on the list of potentials."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "Ah think Ah know who your talking to, met him once, when we had an accident with a trip to the moon."

Firestar has posed:
"Batman." she says with a little reverence in her voice,"The man is beyond words." She smiles then and adds,"Diana. Wonder Woman. She is beyond amazing." She sounds like there is a little fangirl in there for Wonder Woman,"Power Girl is a sweet heart. Superman is awesome, but I am still trying to figure him out some. He's been nothing except nice though."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Everything Ah have heard he is a decent fellow, but aint met him." He says of Superman. "Sometimes Ah am surprised we did not end up running into the titans more often when we were younger."

Firestar has posed:
"I know right?" Angelica agrees,"The Titans should have been on all of our radars, but I didn't meet any to my knowledge. Never in costume anyway." she admits,"Superman seems a decent sort yes. Nobility sort of radiates off of him in a strange way. He really does seem to be a boy scout."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "Well that is good to hear from someone who has actually spent some time around him behind the scenes, Ah will admit.

Firestar has posed:
"Don't tell him I said that. He just...seems that way." Angelica comments and takes one of the sandwiches,"I haven't spent as much time with him as the others, but I have spent a little time. The Watchtower, that place is amazing."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods and takes one of the sandwiches and says "Well when you get visitor passes remember me." He jokes

Firestar has posed:
"Top of the list." she assures him and takes a drink after a bite of her sandwich,"Not sure such a thing exists, but if I find one you're in." she tells him confident like. She considers and asks him,"Are you still having trouble with the fliers? Still struggling to get them working together in training?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie shakes his head a bit and says "They are getting better, did a few drills with them where they were only half of them allowed to fly and get everyone across some obstacles and had it switch who could fly to another one, to make them work together more.

Firestar has posed:
"Maybe we will find a way that I can help you sometime." she offers with a shrug,"Some time we might be able to take them out to the woods or something and teach them to play sky tag or something."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Well you were a hit last time you were there, so ah am sure they would be glad to see you again." He tells her, as he eats a bit more, and says "So what have you been doing lately?"

Firestar has posed:
"Getting settled into college and getting known to the League." she replies,"That's pretty much my life. Fortunately this place is paid up for a year so I don't have to worry a lot about rent and such things. I make a little moeny tutoring so I have food and lights."
