Friends have dinner

Synopsis:	Friends talk about whats been going on and plans.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie called Angelica, and asked her if she would like to grab something to eat. Knowing she does not come to the mansion much any more, he suggests Harry's Hideaway. That way if she wants to visit the mansion she is in the area, and has an excuse to go if she wants to. It also is a place to eat she might have missed since moving.

Firestar has posed:
She hasn't been near the school since everything fell out, so she opts to take a dry run that way and have dinner with an old friend as a bonus. She agrees and sets a time.

She arrives a little early because...well that's just what she does. Taking a moment to look over the place she nods in approval and looks to see if Sam is here yet.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie is here being nearby and a person not liking to make someone wait he made sure to be there early. He has picked a table a bit near the back, and when she walks in, he stands and waves her over "Hey Angelica. how are you doing?" He opens his arms for a hug when she is near.

Firestar has posed:
When she spots him, she smirks a little and heads to meet with him. She hugs him back and kisses his cheek,"I am all right Sam, how have you been?" Once they separate, she takes a seat across from him.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie does help her with her seat. "I am doing ok, been working a lot, figured we should catch up a bit." He offers with a smile and has a seat. "The apartment still working out well?"

Firestar has posed:
She settles and nods to him,"It's been too long." she tells him. A smile touches her features,"The apartment is great yes. It's nice to not be stepping on people every time I turn around, but lonely some nights too."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "Yea, when Alexis and Ah were together not having another dozen folks around seemed odd. But then again, Ah was used to that before Ah came up here too. You and Vanessa doing ok?"

Firestar has posed:
"We are doing well yes." she replies,"She still stays at the school part of the time, so those nights get...well not cold obviously, but you know." she explains,"She has a job to do and sometimes I am not home anyway, looking down on the planet from above."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods and says "Still need to come for a visit up there some time." He says with a smile. When the waitress comes over, he lets Angelica order first. "Well it is good to hear things are going well."

Firestar has posed:
She smiles,"I need to talk to Diana and see if it's OK." she agrees,"It's something else and there are a lot of people that come and go up there." She makes her order and then lets him make his,"It's good to see you Sam. You know you can come by the apartment whenever."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods and orders a decent amount of food. "Ah need to stop in more, least we have our flying, aint making Vanessa jealous or anything us going out flying are we?"

Firestar has posed:
Shaking her head, Angelica replies,"Not that she's mentioned." She considers for a long moment and she asks,"Your kinds still having trouble working in concert? I was thinking there might be a way I could help."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie says, "Well they are getting a little better, but Ah am always up to listening to your ideas, the more Ah know and all."

Firestar has posed:
She hmms and shrugs,"We could set up a cat and mouse in thd Danger Room. Chase me through a wooded area or something. Maybe set up some Lazer Tag receivers and projectors. Let them try to find me or touch me before I can tag them. Set of projectors on my wrists."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit to this and says "See if, they can work together to try to herd you in a way instead of just all Ah got it, Ah got it." He nods a bit and says "Could work." He also sees this as Angelica maybe wanting to come feel things out "You busy this weekend?"

Firestar has posed:
She is thoughtful, checking her schedule on her phone,"I think I could pencil you in Saturday afternoon." she suggests,"Most of my finals are a lock, but one I am still trying to dial in because....well it's open to interpretation and I need things to be facts.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "Ok, how about we do it Saturday, and then Ah will take ya out to dinner as a thanks for helping? That or ah could make some Chicken, but if we do that might need to make a few batches before ya get there so we get some.

Firestar has posed:
She chuckles softly and nods to him,"Just make sure you or Logan or someone among the X-Men is there to meet me and escort me to the Danger Room. I wasn't allowed down there on my own when I was living there. I don't think that will have changed with my sudden exedous."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "Sure just give me a hollar when you get to Westchester and Ah will head down to the gate to meet you. Pretty sure you could come on to the mansion alone but if ya prefer Ah can be there.

Firestar has posed:
"As long as someone meets me at the door I will be fine." she replies with a shrug,"I think if my red headed temper has cooled Jean's will have too. If not, it'll be a short training session."

She smirks a little so he knows she is most teasing him.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Red headed temper, that might explain why Jay gets aggrivated at me so easily. Ah think Ah was spoiled a bit by being around Rahne.

Firestar has posed:
She winks,"Ginger's are soul less monsters Sam. You know that." she teases and thanks the waitress for brining the orders to them,"I haven't seen or heard out of her since we were kids. Rahne I mean."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "She has been helping Moria out recently." He explains why the young werewolf has not been around much. "And us hillbillies only have three teeth and sleep with the cows, till we find oil and move to Beverly."

Firestar has posed:
In the midst of a drink, Angelica nods at first. When he makes the Beverly Hillbillies comment she snorts and has a sexy line of ice tea rolling out of her nostrils." She coughs a couple times and fans her face, tearing up a little,"You suck Guthrie." she coughs out a few moments later, then is laughing again.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie grins at her, and holds up his tea in a salute, and says "Hey my plan worked." He chuckles a bit and says "You can come to the cement pond sometime so Ah can make up for it?" He grins still and thanks the waitess as their food arrives.

Firestar has posed:
Shaking her head she coughs a few more times and eyes him,"Well how can I turn down an invitation to the cement pond?" she quips,"I think I have a swim suit that fits. Might even have a bikini if you are well behaved." She is a lot more laid back that she used to be, but still most a tease, probably not coming with a two piece.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Hey least you won't be like Ah was when lock came about. Flying off into who knows what with just a towel on."

Firestar has posed:
Another soft snort and she shakes her head,"I'll bet that was a sight to see." she tells him,"It's good for you though, keeps you on your toes and maybe teaches someone else to mind their manners and their surroundings."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Just glad Doug let me in and borrow some pants before we headed back to check on things." He says "Ah think we were lucky having Illy about made getting out easier, and while it did not go the best all the time. Now that Doug is back Ah think we all ended up better for it.

Firestar has posed:
"He always was a soft touch." she teases lightly. She is thoughtful again and she admits,"I think it's been longer since I have seen Doug than Rahne. Too many years have gone by and I think we're all the better off, but time will tell."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Besides you and James, Ah think Sharron is the latest Ah have run into and that was a couple years back. Ah know how it is."

Firestar has posed:
"Maybe we should have some sort of reunion. The New Mutants and the Hellions, what's left of the Hellions that aren't too far off the res to be around in public. A few of them I don't know."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "Might best if you and James are the ones to talk to them and invite them, get a judge on where they are at and all."

Firestar has posed:
She nods and eats a few bites while she listens to him. When she answers she tells him,"I will have to see if Jimmy is of a mind to even talk to me first, but I will see about reaching out. Things got a little awkward when I got the offer to join the League."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit to this and says "Ah can understand that, sorry if Ah brought up a sore spot there." He offers.

Firestar has posed:
A hint of a smile and she shakes her head,"You're all right Sam. It is what it is. No different than the first few times we met after that night." She doesn't say it outloud, but he knows what she means,"I'll always have a place in my heart for the both of you and of course Spidey and Iceman."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "You know, Ah remember the first time, Ah met Spidey. It was about this time of year, a few years back. Ah was trying to get ma a hat. Then there was this electrical giant going on a rampage.

Firestar has posed:
"Spidey always has the fun ones." she admits,"When the three of us were together we never wanted for crazy bad guys to try to annoy us. Some far worse than other. Dr. Doom, Dr. Octopus, Kraven the Hunter...so many more."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit and says "We have had some wild and crazy adventures that for sure. " He agrees thinking of some of the New Mutants adventures as well. "So, how did you actually end up on the JL radar?"

Firestar has posed:
She shakes her head and admits,"I don't know really. How I got on their radar. I was approached by a reporter a while back and within a few days I was meeting Diana. A few days after I was meeting her with Superman and Batman."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods a bit to this and eats a bit and after finishing chewing he will say "Well with the things you have done over the years, you deserve the spot." He tells her.

Firestar has posed:
"It's a lot of pressure, wanting to live up to it. Never knowing if there is going to be a major disaster and we will have to rise up and face it." she admits,"You might be a little biased Sam, but thank you none the less."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Biased or someone who has seen and knows what you been through more than others?" He asks her. "If you ever need me let me know, but really don't see ya needing me. Pretty sure Superman can fly through things for you guys."

Firestar has posed:
She smiles and looks at the table for a second,"I know you always have my back Sam." she tells him seriously,"You know the same goes for me. Us young upstarts have to stick together." Not willing to let things be too serious, she winks and says,"Just so long as it is my back you're watching, not lower."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smirks a bit and says "Hey in a fight Ah will watch ya back, outside of a fight all bets are off." He teases back to her

Firestar has posed:
She smirks and reaches across the table to take his hand and squeeze it playfully. Taking it back she reaches into her bag and produces a picture of a blue and red outfit with a jacket,"I think I will be using this one while working with the League. The yellow outfit is for mutant based or solo adventures."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "So thats the one we will get the action figure of, have to make custom with you in the yellow suit, or maybe it will be the chase rare figure

Firestar has posed:
The mention of an action figure makes her face match her hair for a moment,"That's the sort of things Superman or Logan has. Diana sure. Pretty sure I will be safe from such things."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie shakes his head, and says "Na, working on the big team, major league attractive. Ah wager you will have one within six months."

Firestar has posed:
She laughs softly and her face settles down, not so red,"I guess time will tell. We'll see what we see." she offers,"I think I'll pass on the wager, there's no telling what you'd want to bet."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie chuckles a bit and says "Hey now, your making me sound like Berto." He jokes a bit, and then says "Seriously though you will do good there."

Firestar has posed:
"I am going to do my best to show up for the Hellions and the New Mutants too. Maybe put us on the map in a good way for a change." She yawns and smiles at him,"So what we are remembered for isn't burning the land."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "You need a ride back into town? You look like you getting a bit worn out." He offers noticing the yawn

Samuel Guthrie enjoys the food with Angelica, and makes sure she gets back home safe and sound.
