Synopsis:	Tabby and Angelica have some girl time and talk about things over burgers.

Boom-Boom has posed:
The Xavier School is close enough to Harry's Hideaway that the walk while down a largely dark street can take a bit, it's not so bad as walking across Central Park. a text message had been sent to Angelica from Tabitha's phone inviting her to the Bar and Grill, mostly for a wellness check as much as a decent burger and beer.

Plus the walk gives Angelica time to fly in.

Tabby's arrival has her in a red denim miniskirt and black stockings with a black motorcycle jacket and a cropped hoodie underneath it. Blue sneakers match the top while spiky belt and collar cinch around hips and neck. Her hair down and draped down her back.

Getting a beer and sitting at a booth, the blonde kicks back and idly drums fingers in time with the classic rock on the jukebox.

Firestar has posed:
It doesn't take too long to fly in. It does take her a few minutes to get clothes settled again. She is getting to where she doesn't incinerate things just by flying. Landing a block or two away in an alley, she makes her way up the street and around.

Stepping into Harry's, she glances around to look for...there she is. Wearing a pair of hip hugging jeans, NYU sweatshirt, and black combat style boots she walks up to the table,"Hey cutes. You got room for one more at this table?" she asks in a voice a little deeper to mess with her approaching from behind.

Boom-Boom has posed:
The redhead's arrival gets a big grin and a nod of her head as she approaches. That tapping finger gesturing to sit. "Hon, I always got room for you!" she adds with a playful wink to match the tone.

There's a wave over at Harry and then a thumbs up to get a couple burgers frying up. There's already a plate of fries piled up in the middle by her pint, half drunk already.

"How ya holding up? Glad classes aren't bogging you down too badly. Worried it'd be spring break before we saw ya. May have to take the Blackbird somewhere for it. Pile everyone in and party!"

Firestar has posed:
A soft chuckle and Angelica takes a seat next to the blonde,"Good to know." she teases a little and nudges shoulders. She glances up as Harry gets summoned and then at the fries on the table. She swipes one and seems to enjoy it so very much.

"Oh I am doing pretty well." she replies,"Classes aren't too bad." She nudges with her elbow,"You know where the apartment is and you have a key for a reason." She pauses a sec and then adds,"Nobody living there except me anymore so just come by anytime. If I am not there call me and we'll see about me getting home."

Boom-Boom has posed:
With Angie sitting down Tabby twists at the waist so she can see the redhead, knees against knees as much as shoulders and they can both reach fries. "I'm thinking Mexico for Spring break. Probably east coast instead of the usual west coast stuff." she suggests as an idea.

"That's just been timing. Plus it feels like every time I head into the city I end up doing hero stuff. I may have used your can while I was in the neighborhood though. And you're still alive so League stuff hasn't been too harrowing I hope!?"

A nod and she admits,"Mexico could be fun. I have never been. Of course I've never had a jet to take me there either. You'd think I'd just fly down there myself some time."

"Timing sucks." she agrees and is thoughtful. She hmms and asks,"You wouldn't have left a pillow sideways on the bed with a handful of fresh picked flowers when you did that? No the League has been pretty easy over all. Mostly I go to a few of the places, see a few leaguers, and take my turn up on the Watchtower looking over the world. That can be quiet, but that's ok."

Boom-Boom has posed:
It's not that long before burgers get served. There's always a demand for them and patties are almost always already grilling and set up in their destined buns.

"Gotta be super zen like staring down a Earth from up there? Mexico is probably gonna have a few fights. But that's part of the fun." she considers possibilities. "I may leave a baggie of weed on your pillow. Easier to conceal in a pocket." she jokes.

Firestar has posed:
The burgers arrive and Angelica's eyes look at them like maybe it's been a while for a burger to cross her lips. She studies it like it might be something worth a great value. She inhales slowly and nods,"Then I know who left the flowers. There aren't many keys out there."

"Looking down at the Earth is pretty intoxicating." she agrees,"Some times I just stand up there and look down at the world even after my shift is over." A chuckle and she nods,"A scuffle might be fun too. If you leave me a baggie of weed you'd better come back and smoke it with me." She takes another fry and taps Tabitha's nose lightly, wrinkling her own when she does.

Boom-Boom has posed:
"If I've proven anything. I may be a romantic, but I'm terrible at romance. Plus I'm too poly to be a good girlfriend anyway!" Tabby points out as she eyeballs the burger the same way she might actually have eyeballed Angelica more than once.

"So are the flowers a good thing if you know where they came from? Vanessa?" she guesses and then lifts the burger to take a huge and very unladylike bite of the bun and it's beefy salady goodness.

Firestar has posed:
Taking up the burger, Angelica ties into hers and her eyes close slowly. She chews like each might well be the greatest thing she's ever done. After she swallows the first bite she shakes her head,"Not a bad thing so long as you set it up going in." she tells Tabby about the poly.

So they were both eyballing each other before the burgers. Now the hamburgers are the prettiest belles at the ball. Shaking her head she tells Tabby,"No. Wasn't Vanessa. She fell of the Earth recently and we were pretty shaky even before that. I guess we lost each other. So..." She shurgs,"...so God help everyone, I am on the market again and have no idea what to do with it."

Boom-Boom has posed:
"I haven't seen Vanessa myself in a while. The kitchen duties take care of themselves since we've got a bunch of smart kids volunteering and a few that were volunteered." because some times chores are still used as punishment.

"You're gonna cause a sales boom on aloe vera and flame proof lingerie!" she encourages between bites. The burgers are at least the third tastiest buns in the building depending on who you ask. "Still, stay safe, and incinerating any creeps is perfectly fine in my eyes!"

Firestar has posed:
Taking another bite, Angelica doesn't seem as broken up about things as maybe she should be. She chews the burger, forgetting other woes with the taste of the burger. A soft mmmm sound escapes her.

She chases the burger with a drink and smirks,"I don't see too many people tripping over themselves yet, but we'll see." Everyone knows she has all the curves that appeal except her. She nods as she adds,"All creeps must fry." she teases. She's a little less gunshy about joking about things anymore or maybe it's just the company.

Boom-Boom has posed:
"Extra crispy. Just like the best bacon!" Tabby agrees and raises her burger like it was a drink in toast. Then take another bite, making sure to hold it steady so she doesn't up end the contents.

"Give it some time, a few nights out in little dresses. And the phone numbers are totally gonna start coming in. You may need to hire someone to curate your DMs too!" she adds and chuckles. Tabby spends half the time on her phone just deleting most of hers.

Firestar has posed:
"No half way." she agrees,"Make sure they don't make the same mistake twice." Another bite of the burger and after she swallows it she sighs,"This is going to take a month to get off my hips. I'm going to have to start working it off fast."

She smiles and nods,"A friend of mine found a way where I can get out without a full suit under now. The suit is safer, but at least with what he gave me I can go out for while. I met someone that could change the frequency of the waves, but it only lasts about a week and I haven't seen her for a while. Sooner or later she'll want something in return I am sure."

Boom-Boom has posed:
When it comes to burning off carbs, Tabby is no slouch. She might not have Dazzler's legendary cake but she's no slouch. "Every day is Leg Day, Angie! Squats!" she encourages.

"You know the Shi'ar replicators we have don't just make unstable molecule uniforms, you can make just about any clothes you can come up with. And if the League has a decent paycheck, you can always save and splurge on retail with the added Molecule treatment!" she explains. She's had to take kids with clothes unfriendly powers shopping a few times. "But if you're getting better at control that's great! But yeah, if she's a quid pro quo type, hopefully she's not gonna expect... ya know."

Firestar has posed:
"Everyday is leg day." she agrees and nudges Tabitha's knee with her own. She picks up a few fries to gnaw on.

"I had heard there is some pretty impressive things you guys get. I am just always paranoid whatever I am wearing with fail or something and I'll give all the city a cheap thrill flying home." She shakes her head and admits,"Probably I won't have her do it again. It was nice for a week. Met an old friend for an unrequited tryst. Won't happen again because said friend doesn't heal fast and I worry about him. He makes dangerous choices anyway, I don't want to be the next one."

Boom-Boom has posed:
"Believe it or not I've had to train myself so I don't hurt anyone when I'm intimate. So I know the worry. So who helped you anyway?" Tabby is curious as she works through her burger. The occasional sip of beer washing it down.

"You know you can always swing by for new uniforms and stuff. It's like shopping at home and you get to try stuff on. And for free! God I love Alien technology!" her clothes currently aren't made with unstable molecules. But Tabitha always did have almost unfairly fine control of her powers compared to her pyrokinetic peers.

Firestar has posed:
"I believe your power could be dangerous, but I always assumed you just had a better handle on yours than I can get on the radiation connected to mine." She takes a drink and chuckles,"Her name is Starfire. She's an alien of some sort. She was able to change the radiation at a molecular level that made it not harmful."

She considers the idea of going to the mansion again. She is quiet for a moment and admits,"Sam brought me to the mansion last week. Made me dinner and I crashed in his room." she tells her,"She slept on the couch because..well a lot of reasons. I am sure someone is talking just because I slept there."

Boom-Boom has posed:
There's a nod of her head. "The first time my powers went off, it was when I first felt that tingle downstairs. It still bubbles up on me now and then if I'm nor careful." she explains. "And I was thirteen, so yeah, after a decade. Not only can I dial it in. I can also change a blasts direction mid flight." it took a lot of work for all that telekinetic control.

"Starfire, the Titan? I heard she's a frisky type. But also like super cool with it. So if other shoes drop, you shouldn't hopefully worry about hurting her." she sounds hopeful. And maybe a little jealous. She's seen Koriand'r on TV.

Firestar has posed:
She smiles a little, cringing a little after,"That would have been something." she admits. She bumps shoulders again and leans a little while she takes up her burger again,"I thought my first time was scary, that would have scared an average person half to death. I always knew you were tougher than most.

Chewing on the burger she nods. Once it is down she replies,"That's the one. She is beautiful I just don't know. I mean it probably would be fun, but I am getting to where I want to keep relations closer to home. It doesn't have to be anything exclusive, just keeping thing withing the club as it were. My friend I told you about, he's not a mutant, but we used to work together a long time ago." If Tabby knows her history, Firestar has only once worked with one non mutant. The amazing and spectacular friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

Boom-Boom has posed:
"I was at school, in the cafeteria. I got tackled like an active shooter. It was a bad time for me then. I was bullied a lot even before I had powers. That just made it worse." Tabby explains how discovery is not always fun, in fact the opposite for most mutants.

"Well Sam and I did try dating when we were kids. But I still leaned towards girls more even then. At least Titan's Tower is about another hour upstate from here. If you gun it, you could probably make the trip in no time. That place is like wall to wall eye candy like Westchester from what I seen." she encourages.

Firestar has posed:
A sadness touches Angelica's eyes as she listens to Tabitha talk about the tackle and wrangle,"I had my bully too. A rich girl, well richer than me by a lot. Her name was Bonnie and she was...unpleasant. Nothing like that." She couldn't look more empathic if she tried.

"Sam is a sweet heart. I think the world of him." she admits,"I am about 50/50 anymore. No real preference." She smirks a little,"I have made the trip a time or two, not for meeting her. I know a few of them now so I drop by occasionally,"There is a lot of eye candy for sure."

Boom-Boom has posed:
"It was everyone back then. The school, the town, my dad and step mom. It was my dad hitting me that was the last straw. So I ran, lived on the streets, not fun for a teenage girl. Got swept up in Xavier's school. And then here I am." she goes on and all but says yada yadda.

"Sam's a sweet guy. But every guy has his moments. Just hint an Tabby retribution if he does play up. I always wanted to see if I could generate a bomb inside his blast field." she says in a playfully evil tone.

Firestar has posed:
A soft sigh and she one arm hugs her friend. A gently kiss on the temple if allowed,"It's always a joy when the family turns on you. My father sent me to Ms. Frost and then on to Alpha Flight's school up in Canada. I suppose he still loves me, but we don't talk anymore and it was tense before that."

She smirks a little and adds,"Sam is good people for sure. I will tell him that I'll set Tabby on him if he crosses me." A friendly chuckle, but she waggles her brows at the playful evil tone.

Boom-Boom has posed:
The hug is accepted along with the temple kiss. One hand between the women reach up to squeeze that hand curling around her welcomingly. "Emma's come a long way too I think. But she still has her moments. But it's weirdly hot for me." Tabby admits with a giggle and snags a fry and dunks it in some ketchup before it's fate is sealed.

"You know we should totally head back to the school. We can show you how to use the Shi'ar replicators. Between it and the Danger Room holodeck, it's straight up Star Trek in there!" she suggests and grins.

Firestar has posed:
A smile touches Angelica's features when Tabby takes her hand. She nods and admits,"I have...let's say buried the hatchet with her. Still not my favorite person in the world and she knows what gravity feels like for sure, but buried." That is vague and potentially something to cause questions.

Taking another bite of the burger, Angelica finishes her off. She chases it with a drink and considers for a long moment,"If I go you'll have to be with me all the time. I'm not an X-Man and wasn't allowed in the Danger Room alone even when I lived there." She thinks it over and finally says,"All right. I was there once recently and nobody ran me out on a rail."

She eats a few fries and once the duo is done, she lets Tabitha take her to the mansion to see the tech. Baby steps.
