Cast of Characters: Greenjack, Insight

Greenjack has posed:
You went to Club Lux when you wanted to dip your toes into the nightclub scene without falling too far down the rabbit hole. It flirted just enough with the scene to be exciting without it going too far. The harcore partying crowd knew where to go to get that type of experience.

Danny Wilde is just coming off the dance floor- he hadn't been dancing with anyone in particular and everybody in general, it had been once of those pieces. The young man attracts the attention of many eyes just by virtue of his skin being bright green and his hair a soft blue, with two small horn nubs poking out through his hair. The youngest member of the Wilde Family is all grown up and enjoying what the college life has to offer. Clad in a sleeveless fitted dark red button-up silk shirt and close-fitting black jeans, it's clear that he is aware of how exotic he looks and he's reveling in it.

"A coke, please," he says as he comes up to the bar. He leans on the counter and waits for his drink, taking in the scenery. Yes, this was nice. This beat going on patrol and getting up to your knees in grime and crime. He liked this.

Insight has posed:
Georgie truly needed to get out of the apartment today. Healing is all well and good, but sometimes emotions need fed too... especially if you're this particular empath. He doesn't have his full wardrobe, but what he does have isn't so bad. His charcoal pullover is absolute 'touch me' material and his designer jeans make him worth a second look from the front or the rear. It all stretches just right over his frame which is absurdly fit.

The doctor moved among the crowd, smiling and flirting now and then, trying to make his way to the bar. He makes it eventually, sliding into line behind Greenjack. Georgie looks around, but his eyes keep dropping to the greenskinned, blue-haired fellow. He's saved by a second bartender, so he steps up beside Greenjack and orders. "Mudslide, on the rocks, not blended if you please."

Drink on the way, he offers his fellow customer a smile and nod before he has a look around with a similar sort of thought. This was his weakness. Clubs had a high tendency to win out over patrols. Of course, he's on the mend, so that makes it okay. Right?

He's without the sling, but he moves carefully. The bruising still is rather ugly, but it's certainly better after his University friends tested out a bone mender on him for a few treatments.

Greenjack has posed:
Danny returns the smile and then takes a second to examine the other patron. The older man was clearly built- probably a career in athletics. Or maybe he was a health nut, a very dedicated health nut. "Inert cliche comment- you come around here often?" the teen asks with a smile, swirling his coke around. Around his right wrist Georgie can see the wristband that tags someone as being under the age of 21 and thus not allowed alcohol. "I'm Danny, by the way. I'm new to the city."

He tilts his head in a gesture that invites conversation.

Insight has posed:
Georgie turns his attention back to Danny. He gives a light laugh, more of a few hitches of the chest given the din of the crowd. His eyes fall to his drink that's delivered. He raises it to his lips, giving it an uplift in toast, before sipping at it. "Mmm." He sighs and smiles brighter. "I don't. Visiting a friend in the area and... well... needed to get out for a while." He winks and offers his hand. "I'm Georgie. Good to meetcha, Danny."

He takes another sip of his drink and asks, "What brings you to Manhattan? Something amazing, I hope." He crosses his fingers and smiles, eyes twinkling as he meets Danny's gaze, honestly interested to the point where his eyes don't even roam... all that much. Good physique is good physique after all.

Greenjack has posed:
"Let's just say I decided to leave the family business behind. Came over to study at the university and see about striking my own way." The young green man takes a sip from his drink. Depending on how knowledgeable Georgie is of the international hero sccene, there may be something familiar about him.

"Just moved in this summer ahead of time so I could get ready for the Fall semester and all. So... if you're visiting, where are you originally from?"

He brushes back his hair, as it was falling on his face. It's a little long now, he really should cut it. "Let's walk a bit," he says suddenly and begins to walk away from the bar and towards one of the large windows.

Insight has posed:
Georgie laughs a little, understanding wanting to find your own way with a little distance from family. "I feel you there. My parents are hippies, so going to college was sort of my bit of rebellion too." He keeps fairly good tabs on superheroes in general. He's always been something of a fanboy, hoping a real hero would think he's worth joining a team or becoming a protégé. None have, but he's managed to make a small name for himself up in Boston as Insight. He has a somewhat larger following for his MMA fights though. There he's something of a showman that never loses even against obvious metas and mutants.

"Gotham," he offers easily enough. "It isn't much of a vacation really. Just a ferry ride truth be told." He picks up his stride and follows Danny towards the window. He gives Danny a surprised smile. "Getting to school early? Damn dude." He thinks a moment and shrugs. "But... there are clubs and stuff I guess." His gold rimmed blue eyes flick to Danny and he asks, "What are you planning to major in?"

Greenjack has posed:
"Oh, I know all about that. My mom's, like, the ultimate hippie. Back to earth, all of that. I mean..." he taps his horns and smirks "Sort of runs in the family, but I draw the line at patchouli as an acceptable perfume, if you know what I mean."

The Wilde Family didn't operate in the US as much, they were more continental, but nevertheless they were pretty famous. He's grown up some from when Georgie might have last seen him on television, but he might be able to recognize 'Wild Child.' Though he still was with the family as of last year, his television apperances had dwindled over the past four years.

"Gotham. I passed by there, once. It's.... pretty... um. Foggy. Yes, it was pretty foggy." That's the best compliment he can give to the city.

"Oh, not to SCHOOL early. Just moved into the apartment and started scoping out the city. You know- the place, the restaurants." He takes a sip from his coke. "The guys."

"I don't really have a plan to declare a major just yet. Thought I'd look into a few fields first. I was thinking of botany, but to be honest I have more than enough of an advantage there, it'd be unfair." He grins.

Insight has posed:
The comment on his mother sort of makes it all come together for Georgie. His mutant mind doesn't forget much and works somewhere approaching warp speed. It's truly the only way he keeps from going mad in a place like this club with the roiling tsunami of strong (drunken) emotions. "Psalacantha does have my mom beat, but only just barely." He offers a wink and leans in, "My parents are named Sunshine and River. No patchouli though! Just... all the incense. Like all of it. Always." He leans back and rolls a thick shoulder in a shrug. "I mean, love em, but I wasn't really willing to change my name to Moonbreeze, yaknow?" Another shrug and he laughs, young enough to still have a hint of giggle to it.

He laughs a little at the other man's take on Gotham. "If I hadn't grown up there, I'm sure I wouldn't want to be there. My folks left after I did."

He laughs and leans against the window lightly. He leans his head against the glass too, eyes all on Danny, the rest of the club be damned. "What do you think so far. Any good restaurants I should check out? Or guys?" The last gets the hint of a wink, but he moves on fairly fast, offering, "If botany is too easy, add something else. Psychology was too easy for me, so I did Math." He wrinkles his nose and then smiles. "Can't get much un-hippy than Abstract Algebra after all."

Greenjack has posed:
"I think I'm following up on a promising lead," Daniel says concerning the line about guys, and takes a sip from his drink while returning the wink. "So I am found out. I guess it's always a matter of time before people realize I'm *not* Beast Boy," he chuckles.

"Moonbreeze isn't that bad of a name. My mom wanted to call me Aenesidemos, for crying out loud. My dad intervened."

He laughs and shakes his head, "I don't know if math is my thing. My mind takes more towards my great-aunts. You know, the muses. I'm definitely more of a humanities guy." He looks at Georgie out of the corner of his eye and grins, "I like studying humanity. I think I might do some in-depth individual studies while I'm here."

Insight has posed:
Georgie laughs a little and blushes. "Well, I think that lead just might try and coax you to the dance floor once we finish our drinks. Every good lead has a way of making you work up a proper sweat after all." He offers a little wink and swallows the last of his alcoholic chocolate milk. He laughs and confides, "Moonbreeze or Starchild. I mean, both would be okay, but I think there are superheroes that have those trademarked."

He offers his hand then, ostensibly to lead him back down to the dancefloor. "I don't think Math is -really- anyone's thing. Except aliens maybe." He shrugs and laughs. "If you like studying humanity, maybe biology or anatomy might be up your alley. I can help with some physical anthropology tutoring if you need any of my... uhh... expertise."

Greenjack has posed:
"I know a good amount of the theory," Danny says and takes Georgie's hand, with an amused grin, "But I wouldn't say no to having my knowledge refreshed. I imagine you must be a very good instructor, with that psychology degree. You are a student of man, too."

The teen gets to the dance floor but doesn't start dancing just yet, he watches Georgie to see how he will start. He is clearly amused.

Insight has posed:
The closer the two get to the dance floor, the more charged Georgie seems to become. The wash of feeling is simply intense. His thumb brushes along Danny's hand as the approach. "Indeed," he agrees. "I care about humanity." He flashes a bright smile and whispers, "Vested interest and all, I suppose." He lifts Danny's hand and tries to brush a chaste kiss, just to show his appreciation for his companion. He lets go then and moves into position onto the floor. He leans his head back and lets the music and the wash of emotion fill him and literally move him. His eyes open and he sees him watching. He grins at the young man and starts by taking a few moments to dance with those around him. His empathic connection with each allows him to move with each like he was born to dance with just that person. It's remarkable as he lithely writhes and grinds, but no person gets more than seconds. Then, he's moving on Danny, swaying and gyrating to the music as he approaches. His head lowers, the dark hair covering part of his eyes as he gazes through the light fringe. His full lips glint in the flashing lights as he wets them. When he's close enough, he says above the music, "The human male starts by showing off, dancing with possible mates." He uses his best documentary voice, at odds with the movements of his body that seems to understand what Greenjack likes to see: what brings him joy, what turns him on, and what he craves.

"When his preferred mate shows interest, the male moves to dance with the object of his affections. He shows his strength and his grace. He shows his devoted attention, none of the rest getting so much as a glance now. It is said it may have been the precursor to religion, the feeling of awe, reverence and heart-breaking devotion first starting with this simple ritual of one male trying to find a suitable match." He smiles then and offers his hands to draw Danny back to dance with him properly, playful and simply joyful, with the hint of a promise out there, but by no means the primary goal.

Greenjack has posed:
Daniel laughs, watching Georgie move on him. He watches the doctor dancing with eyes that show a great deal of appreciation. When Georgie offers his hands, they are taken without hesitation. The godling moves with surprising fluidity, once he begins to dance. They have that certain effortless grace that wild creatures in play often display, and if some moves are more sensual than others, it can all be blamed on the fact that it's in his blood. He does not grow shy of reaching out and running a hand along Georgie's cheek in a light tease.

"You are very good at this, doctor. I rather fear I may be charmed off my feet or have my heart chewed and spat out."

He grins and dances a little further away, so he can show off his own grace. "I am rather intrigued by the challenge, to be honest."

Insight has posed:
Georgie isn't particularly shy when he is dancing with a willing partner. The hand on the cheek causes his eyes to flutter shut and the older man to gasp softly. The hippy doctor doesn't do so well without regular affection, so this, here with Daniel, is precisely just what the doctor... another doctor even... has ordered. His own hands smooth across Danny's chest, shivering a little as the hard muscle moves under the red silk.

His broad smile seems permanent as some distance is given, moving with the Godling with a similar, if not divine, animal grace. He's a creature of feeling far more than a creature of logic. Leave that to the telepaths. "Only as good as my partner," he offers with a smile. "I'm not one to chew or spit, so we'll have to settle for charmed, I guess." He makes a sad little look, before laughing. The laugh falls off soon enough, however, as he becomes captivated by the green godling's grace. Each ripple of muscle attracting his gaze, devouring the sheer vitality and glory of his dance partner's movements.

He tears his eyes free and confesses with just a touch of awe, "I think you're the most beautiful person I've ever seen." His smile flashes again as he turns and dances back on Danny, needing to regroup just a moment.

Greenjack has posed:
Danny approaches Georgie as well and settles into a closer dance by encircling the other's waist with his arms, a wry expression on his face. "Tut-tut, doctor, don't say such things. Don't you know Aphrodite will be jealous and turn you into stone?" He lets out a chuckle and moves in rhythm with Georgie, close. "But it's sweet and I find you equally handsome." He uncouples one arm around Georgie to hold up a hand close to Georgie's face. The cupped palm suddenly sprouts a beautiful purple Heliotrope bunch. "For you. The sungazer heliotrope, sacred to Helios."

Should Georgie pluck the flower from his palm, the roots will disappear and give no evidence that anything sprouted there. The hand would immediately return to the other's hip.

Insight has posed:
The doctor laughs, letting his arms wrap loosely around Danny's neck. He leans in and murmurs, "She'll understand. I'm certain she's the most gorgeous being I would ever chance to meet should I ever have such an honor." He laughs and jokes, "Should I not be turning to stone. I get prickly about being cursed and such." The flower gets a joyful smile and Georgie doesn't hesitate. He plucks the flower and tucks it in his hair along his ear. He leans in and tries to give a light kiss, aiming just shy of the corner of Danny's mouth.

"Thank you," he murmurs as they're face to face and easier to hear. "We could use a little more sun over in Gotham. Taking some back will make me a hero." He laughs softly and goes back to dancing. The closer he gets, the more his desire rises, likely fairly obvious to the godling. When it threatens his control, he finally demurs, "Can I buy you another Coke? I think I might need a water or something." His body is close enough that not going for that drink might make the dancing far more dirty than either of them might truly intend for the evening.

Greenjack has posed:
Danny is, after all, a satyr. Perhaps not a full one, but he is not oblivious to desire. He lets Danny kiss the corner of his mouth, and he reciprocates by kissing his cheek. He takes advantage of that to dance even closer and whisper into his ear.

"I'm afraid I am enjoying this too much and I may be tempted." He pulls back slowly, without letting go of Georgie.

"You intrigue me, doctor, and you charm me. But I will not make it so easy." He smiles and pulls Georgie in at the same time that he turns him around, so that his arms are wrapped around the front of his waist and Georgie's back is resting against Danny's chest, as they dance. It's a perfect position to whisper, "Tomorrow is a sunny day. Meet me at the beach at the Rockaways by four and we'll have a picnic."

He lets go of Georgie and dances back a couple of steps, his face beaming with mischief, awaiting Georgie's answer.

Insight has posed:
Georgie can't help but nod at the thought on temptation. Nod vigorously. When he's spun, he takes the opportunity to push his bottom back, chest to back simply not quite enough for the critical mass empath. He shivers at the whisper, the breath against his neck and ear making him gasp. His hands find Danny's, laying them on top. He doesn't try to move them or guide them, simply desire the hand-on-hand comfort.

It takes him a moment when he feels Danny draw away. It takes a moment more before the words translate into something that demands a response. He turns, stopping his dancing and pants softly, chest heaving. He bobs his head and tugs a burner phone out, tapping at the screen. "Four. Rockaways Beach." He smiles at Danny and says, "Let them try to stop me from being there. Shall I bring anything?" He offers his hand and offers further, "May I walk you out?"

Greenjack has posed:
Daniel takes Georgie's hand, but only gives it a kiss before letting it go. "I think you'd better get a glass of water for yourself. Four. Bring anything you like to eat."

And with that the green teen grins and steps away, moving quickly between the dancing couples with the grace of a forest creature being hunted.

The next time he's visible is when he is by the door to the elevator. He looks back at Georgie, gives a wave and slips into the elevator before the door close, and he is gone fromm sight.
