We Are Legion

Synopsis:	Sometimes even superheroes need to play.

Triplicate Girl has posed:
    Luornu had organized everything, even buying the group tickets.  And now, having descended onto the park, and handed everything in, the group is allocated some 'spending money' that Luornu has gotten her hands on has passed it around for things like games, or curious foods, and souvenirs.
    More importantly?  She's also brought a friend.  "So, everyone.  This is Atlee.  One of the best, and coolest heroes on the planet Earth right now.  She's from a secret land, hidden and walled off from the topside of Earth below ground, and sent here, by them, to be a liaison and try to get the people of Earth to be more—like us.  Her society is a lot like the United Planets.  She's really the best.  And, well, if we do end up doing tryouts?  I'm going to push for her to join us," she tells everyone.
    Yeah.  Lu's pretty fond of Atlee.
    "But!  Now that we're here?  What do we want to do first?  There are crazy rides, and games of throwing skill.  And all kinds of stuff."

Atlee (1034) has posed:
    The short, if muscular girl in uniform rubs her neck, looking a bit embarrassed by Luornu's effusive praise.  "Aww, well…" Atlee says sheepishly.  "You're all great heroes, from what I know; I really look up very much to people like you all, when I have more time to learn."
    She smiles cheerfully, then adds, a bit more excitedly as she looks over to Lu.  "But thank you for inviting me!  I've never been to an amusement park either, though they're supposed to be lots of fun!"  Her eyes turn speculative.  "And especially this one, it is very famous, apparently.  I know there is even a type of hot dog, which are very tasty, that are called Coney dogs after it."  She smiles.  "But yes.  So many things to do!"
    That said, she seems content letting the visitors to the planet choose what they do first, her hands clasping behind her back as she bounces on her toes a little bit.

Invisible Kid has posed:
    Lyle is ready for some genuinely active relaxation—bed rest drives him nuts, and he's had little but that for a week, and most of that was not even conscious.  "I'm just following your lead, Lu.  My idea of having fun is curling up with a technical manual.  I—"  He breaks off and watches with fascination as a roller coaster roars past, not far away.  "—have got to go on that," he finishes, mouth hanging open a little, watching it rattle up a hill.  "That can't be safe."  Funny, the way he says that, it's like he thinks that's a good thing.

Violet (1272) has posed:
    Violet has even dressed in an appropriate costume for the time period: a dark purple skirt that extends to her knee, a patchwork sweater of mostly purple and green.  She's put a few bracelets on, they jangle as she walks in her soft slippers.  "It is very nice to meet you, Atlee," the dark-haired girl greets.

Brainiac 5 has posed:
    Brainy is wearing his image inducer—he tends to draw stares without it.  All it does is hide his skin tone and his cybernetic implants.  Aside from that, he's wearing a purple turtleneck and black slacks and he looks… dubious.  He looks dubious.  He's running a surreptitious scan on somebody's hot dog, and he says, "This place is filthy—"  He looks up at the roller coaster and says, dubiously, "It looks like a Bouncing Boy original."  Then he clears his throat, and says, to Lyle, "You look… very nice."  As for his grumpiness—he's here.  That, in and of itself, is an endorsement.

Triplicate Girl has posed:
    Luornu sighs some, but it's an affectionate sort of sigh at Brainiac.  She smiles at him with equal affection, leaning up to him to stage-whisper, "That's part of the point, Querl.  To let go of one's responsibilities for a short time.  And, explore your inhibitions somewhat."  She squeezes his arm, before taking Violet's hand in one of her hands and Atlee's in the other, looking behind her at Brainiac and Lyle each, "So, let's go to the… ride first."  She begins to tug the group to the roller coaster ride.
    "Then, we can try some of the food.  Like," and she lets go of the two girls' hands to point at a cotton candy vendor, "That.  What is that?  It smells amazing."

Atlee (1034) has posed:
    Atlee ooohs a bit, looking similarly fascinated as Lyle points out the roller coaster.  "Oh yes.  We must do that one!"  She squeezes Luornu's hand as hers is taken, giggling a bit.  "Yes, it's fun!  You shouldn't think too much about fun, as long as it isn't hurting anyone!" she suggests to Brainiac.
    As Lu points out the vendor, she looks curious.  "It looks like little colored clouds… shall we try it first?  People are carrying it around, we can have some while we're waiting to go on the roller coaster."

Mon-El has posed:
    With a flash, and a swish, Mon-El lands nearby, and spots his teammates.  Looking a tad sheepish, he strolls up to the group while still ignoring the stares around him.  He is wearing a collared striped black shirt and a pair of jeans.  After all, Lar had been in the past before, and knew how to fit in… several years ago.
    "Hi guys!  I'm sorry I'm late!  I was trying to decide what to wear.  Is everything ready?"  Mon-El looks at the others.  "Great idea by the way.  Any chance to get away is fine by me!"

Violet (1272) has posed:
    Violet lets herself be led, though she looks a bit dubious at the roller coaster.  "Is it safe?" she wonders, but then she's distracted by the candy floss vendor.  "Smells sweet."  And she looks back to Lu herself.  "Sugary animals?  It looks like an animal fiber."
    Lar lands and joins the group.  As Vi notices him she puts Luornu between herself and Mon-el, tossing her head to drop her bangs in her face… it's harder to see the blushing that way.

Invisible Kid has posed:
    Lyle gives Atlee a thumb's-up, then turns a grin to Brainy.  "You too.  And I always thought Chuck had a great sense of fun, so I'll count that as an endorsement of the idea!"
    He follows along to the vendor and sniffs the air.  "Finely spun sucrose.  Maybe a sucrose-glucose mix.  Probably flavorants.  Sounds like a winner," he says, queuing up to get some.

Brainiac 5 has posed:
    Brainy says, "It's a pleasure to meet you," demurring politely.  He gives the cotton candy, again, a dubious look.  But then he espies a candy apple stand nearby, and after a moment's thought, he queues up to get one of those.

Triplicate Girl has posed:
    "C'mon, Violet."  And of course, anyone else.  Since Brainy is grabbing food before the 'coaster ride, she is going to get the more intriguing of the food fair stuffs—that being a pink fluffy ball of cotton candy.  Because it really does smell just absolutely amazing.  "Glad you could join us, Lar.  Really glad.  We need to do more things like this," she continues.  "And this is one of my best friends I've made on Earth, Atlee.  She's really cool."

Atlee (1034) has posed:
    Atlee grins and waves to Lar, still flushing a bit.  She's not used to being cool!  "Um, hi!  Welcome along!" she says cheerfully to the newcomer, joining the others in the cotton candy line… because of course she'd go for the pure sugar.  Though she does definitely give the candy apple stand a look too when Brainy heads for it.  Mmm, maybe on the way back!
    "I think that means it's flavored sugar?" she says curiously to Lyle.  "Did you know it comes from little cane reeds?  You can even suck it right out when it's like that!  And there's all kinds of it… white and brown and golden…."

Mon-El has posed:
    Mon-El doesn't notice the reactions he brings to others, usually, especially not to his teammates.  Nodding to each in turn, from Violet (even hiding behind her bangs), to Lu, Brainy, and Lyle, he also smiles, and nods to Atlee.
    "I think I heard correctly. Atlee.  It is nice to meet you.  Thank you for being our "tour guide", so to speak.  The team needs a chance to get out and get acclimated to this time and you are a big help.  Oh, and have a little fun."
    Looking over at Lyle, Mon-El chuckles, and says, "It's called "cotton candy", Lyle.  It's a delicacy from this form of entertainment.  Like nothing else."
    Mon-EL then watches Brainy get in line to get a candy apple.  Nodding, he follows suit.  "Good choice, Brainy.  I'm there with you.  Crunch candy coated apple for me too."
    As Lu tries to drag them away, Mon-El nods, and says, "Exactly Lu.  Great idea."  Lar bows towards Atlee and nods at her description of the sugar.  "Lu's friends are our friends.  Thanks again."

Invisible Kid has posed:
    Lyle grins at Atlee.  "Yup, that's exactly what I said, though you said it more succinctly."  He collects his and… well, yeah, he's enough of a lab nerd to study it a few seconds before pinching off a bit and popping it in his mouth and… "Ooo.  I am so going to reverse engineer this."

Violet (1272) has posed:
    Violet has some cotton candy too, when it's her turn at the stand.  She fumbles with the money part of the equation, but soon it's sorted out.  She shrinks a bit when she thinks no one's looking, still keeping out of Lar's view.  "Mmm," she says, eating a bit of the sugary floss.  "Amazing."  She winces.  "I think it's biting my teeth."

Brainiac 5 has posed:
    "It's powdered sucrose that's melted and spun into fibers," Querl says, before he holds up his finger, and then uses his money to buy two candy apples, one of which he hands to Mon-El.  He takes his own in his hand, and takes a crunchy bite out of it, his cheek puffed out, before he says, "Pleasant.  The cinnamon candy and the apple compliment one another nicely It's tolerable."  He takes another bite, and then… offers it to Invisible Kid.

Atlee (1034) has posed:
    Atlee's eyes twinkle a bit at Mon-El.  "Oh, no, I only know a little more than you though!  Maybe less.  I'm still fairly new to the surface world, maybe a year nearly.  And there's so much to see!  So many different cultures and peoples and animals and plants…."  She grins.  "It's wonderful really!  There's so much variety up here, even more than at home.  And I've met many wonderful people, like yourselves too, up here."  She smiles easily.  "But if I know something I will try to tell you what it is, if you wouldn't find that rude?"  Not wanting to be a know-it-all.  That may be other people's jobs who are present.
    She does, since she's standing closer to her, notice the way Violet starts hiding behind Lu a little, watching her a little curiously now.  Mostly because she's not sure exactly what she's hiding from.  But she doesn't want to draw attention to her if she is trying to avoid it, so she simply beams at Lyle.  "Well, yes… ooh, can you do that?  Are you a chemist?" she says curiously.  "I was never very good at that sort of thing, I know geology and geothermics much better."  No surprise.  "Oh, and now should go get in line for the… um…."  She raises a hand over her eyes, shading them as she peers at the distant sign.  "The… Cyclone?"

Triplicate Girl has posed:
    Luornu buys one of the pink spools of cotton candy, tastes it and her eyes go wide.  "It melts in your mouth.  Oh.  Wow.  It's soooooooooo good."  She seems entirely too pleased with the taste of it, and will likely be devouring all of it herself.
    But, for now?  There is just the one of her.  And that's likely because this is a team event, and she's not going to be wandering off by herself, either.  "Okay, guys.  Let's go ride the thing that Lyle wants to ride.  And then we can pick the next thing to do after that."
    A pause, and she adds after a second look at the old wooden coaster, "It does look dangerous.  But if people are riding it and they can't fly, it will be safe enough."

Mon-El has posed:
    Mon-El takes the offered candy apple from Brainy and takes a bite.  "Mmm.  Not bad.  Sweet and tart.  Thanks Brainy.  You are, of course, right."  Mon-El grins and looks at his teammates with a warm smile.  "This is nice," he says after a moment of recollection.
    Looking over at Atlee, Mon-El nods, smiles, and adds, "We would never find that rude, Atlee.  Thank you, we would love to hear your thoughts and perspectives, and we are all here to learn!"
    Mon-El looks to Lu, and Vi, and nods.  Then he says, "Great call Lu.  Let's try it out.  Not sure the affect it will have on us since we have rings that can take us to safety, for those of us who can't fly, but why not?"

Invisible Kid has posed:
    Lyle exchanges his stick of cotton candy (he got yellow) for Querl's candy apple, and takes a bite.  "Ooo. I might want one of these later," he says appreciatively.  "Unless you're already calculating my calorie intake and how that's going to change what I'm allowed to have tomorrow."  Grin.
    Another grin for Atlee.  "Yeah, you might say I dabble in chemistry," he says, unable to repress a snicker.

Brainiac 5 has posed:
    Brainy takes a tuft of cotton candy and puts it in his mouth.  It disintegrates almost immediately, of course, but he seems to appreciate it.  "That is not structurally sound," Querl says, eyeing the roller coaster.  "It must require weekly maintenance… is that built from wood and nails?"  He gives it a suspicious look.  "I suppose you won't take no for an answer?"

Triplicate Girl has posed:
    "You."  Luornu moves forward, to grab Brainy's hand just as she'd previously taken Violet's and Atlee's, "are coming with us," she says, entirely too happy to be dragging Querl towards the wooden 'deathtrap'.  And, expecting by the backwards glance that everyone else will be following them.
    The line isn't too long, and when they all get on, she sits in the car with Brainy, leaving everyone else to their own devices.  "Sometimes," she tells Querl, still utterly too cheerful, after another bite, "you just have to give in."

Atlee (1034) has posed:
    Atlee lets out a little giggle as Querl is snagged, saying as she walks along in pursuit, "Don't worry!  I think they check it every week?  Or maybe month," she says thoughtfully.  "I mean, they care a lot about safety in these places.  I'm sure it's mostly safe!"
    When they reach the front of the line, she slides into the seat behind Lu and Brainy, scooting over to the other side to make room for those behind her, a wide grin of anticipation on her lips.

Mon-El has posed:
    Mon-El watches the interchange between Brainy and Lyle, and shakes his head with a grin.  "Like an old married couple…" Mon says under his breath.  Between the investigation of the sugary treats, and the analysis of the ride, the two were always a handful, like two seven year olds.
    Watching as Lu drags Brainy towards the ride, Lar just follows, chuckling.  He waits until Atlee is seated, and relaxes.  Sitting behind everyone, Lar takes a quick peek at the ride with his x-ray vision, just to make sure.  Satisfied, he sits back to enjoy the ride while still watching to ensure his teammates are safe.

Invisible Kid has posed:
    Lyle climbs into the car behind Brainy and Lu.  "Yeah, I'm sure they wouldn't still have it running if it was genuinely dangerous to operate.  This is an amusement park, not a training simulator!"  He gives Brainy's shoulder a squeeze, then leans back to be properly clamped into place for the ride.
    Somewhere in the back of his head he notes that he would not consider this adequately secure for anything he would've built… but that seems to be part of the fun.

Violet (1272) has posed:
    Violet eats her cotton candy while waiting for the ride.  She finishes just in time, moving to have a seat as well.  "It doesn't much matter if it is safe, Brainy.  We can fly, remember?  Besides, you have a force field."

Brainiac 5 has posed:
    "I'm not afraid for ME," Brainy says.  "My personal force-field will protect me from any accident."  That does not stop him from reaching up and pulling down the security bar, and making darn sure that it's secure, though.  "So this is essentially… being run at high speed along a wooden track, experiencing changes in g-forces and the pull of acceleration at the same time?"

Triplicate Girl has posed:
    "Shhhhh, Querl," Luornu says, as the ride suddenly lurches forward, like a poorly run spaceship hitting atmosphere, jolting and then begins the slow 'click-click-click-click' at the highly inverted angle as the coaster moves up the first hill.  "You know, part of the fun is not analyzing everything, and just enjoying it for how it is."  Still, she knows that's how Brainy's brain works, so she's not blaming him for it.  She kisses him on the cheek.  "Just have fun."
    Then she looks over her shoulder.  "This is going to be like going down into your tunnel, to the hot springs, Atlee.  Only crazier!"  There's a little gleam in Luornu's eye—love of life, for the complete abandonment of the moment.
    And then, the coaster pitches.  And there's that moment when you get to see the angle you're going to drop down, before the coaster suddenly takes off and your stomach is left at the top of the hill.
    The ride is on, and as other people in the coaster scream, Luornu joins in.

Atlee (1034) has posed:
    Atlee hangs on as the car rattles and shakes its way up, allll the way up to the top of the long rise, then giggles at Lu.  "Think so?  But this time I don't know what's going to happen, so it's better!" the petite girl says excitedly.
    And as the car crests the hill, and she sees that fall… she inhales sharply, grabbing onto the bar, then letting out a shriek of delight as the car goes over, roaring down the incline!

Violet (1272) has posed:
    Violet puts her hands up, feeling brave for once.  Might be the sugar rush. "Wheee!!" she shrieks as well.  "This is…" and she smiles at Lar, next to her.  "Isn't this fantastic?" she shouts.  Probably no one else can hear her past the din, but likely Mon-el can.

Mon-El has posed:
    As Violet settles in beside him, Mon-El smiles warmly at her, and pushes the metal bar down over them so they are safely held in place.  "No worries Vi.  I double checked…" Lar taps his temple near his eyes, "…looks safe to me."  With that he regards the others in front and adds, "It will be fun everyone!  No worries Brainy, you can take care of yourself, and I'll take care of everyone else."  Lar winks at Vi.  "Here we go!"  As the click click clicks follows them up the hill, Lar grins, and watches as they crest the hill… and down!

Brainiac 5 has posed:
    This is interesting.  The car is rattling as if it's going to go flying off the track and hurtling forward at an accelerated rate of speed; Brainy silently notes that humans seem to do many things that ought to make them want to puke.  Still, it has an… interesting science to it.  He notes his increased heart rate, the euphoria from difficult respiration, the sudden sensation of the rapidly approaching ground… is that a camera?  Of course it is.  …He thumbs his nose at it.

Invisible Kid has posed:
    Lyle lets out a whoop of his own as the car crests the hill, fists in the air.  "THIS!  IS!  GREAT!" he exults.
    He also notices the camera… and makes his head invisible until safely past it, a scant second later.  That should give 'em something to think about.

Triplicate Girl has posed:
    The ride goes up, it goes down.  It goes sideways.  The only consistent thing about the coaster is how rickety the wooden coaster is, how much the cars shake and shimmy against each turn, or hill, and as the huge support beams clash with the weight and force of the cars, until, finally, the last hill is driven over, and the cars slow back down to the ride.
    "That," breathes Lu, "was really terrific.  We're going to have to ride that again, before we leave."  Somehow, she's managed to still hold onto her cotton candy.  And, she points out Brainy's picture of him thumbing his nose at the camera as they went down the second big hill.  Her own picture has her holding both hands up and laughing.  She buys a copy—not of hers, but of Brainy's.
    And then she laughs out loud as Lyle's picture comes up, sans head.

Brainiac 5 has posed:
    Brainiac 5 buys a copy of Lyle's photo, and hangs onto it, before he raises an eyebrow, and then says, to Luornu, "I agree.  The scientific experience was surprisingly pleasant, an interesting reminder about the thrilling power of physics, when one renders oneself powerless to do any maneuvering."  He looks around, and then immediately wanders off to investigate a gallery of carnival games.  A moment later, he comes back.  "The firearms lack the power to knock down the targets in the shooting gallery, the basketball hoops are all stretched into oval shapes that are almost impossible to get an object the circumference of the ball through, and the necks of the milk containers are too large for the hoops you're supposed to toss over them."

Atlee (1034) has posed:
    Atlee lets out a laugh at the pictures, grinning wildly all the way through the ride, until it finally has to end, a bit breathless from all the shrieking and screaming through the ride.  "That.  Was.  AWESOME!" she gushes, giggling as she hops up as the car restrains open, then offers Mon-El a hand up and out.  "Yes!  Definitely.  We should do that again before we leave!  Maybe when it's dark and they have all the lights on!"

Mon-El has posed:
    As they settle back to Earth, and the ride is over, Mon-El takes Atlee's hand and gets out of the cart, and then helps Vi out as well.  Looking over at all of the team, Mon grins and chuckles as he sees the shots Lu was also looking at.  "Nice shots!"  His laugh is warm and easy as he sees Brainy and Lyle's pictures.  With a shake of his head, he crosses his arms, and says, "No that fits, somehow."

Violet (1272) has posed:
    Violet is still flushed from the ride… or maybe who her car-partner was on the ride?  Both, maybe.  "Oh, Querl.  The fun is playing the game, not winning.  People haven't come here to make a profit on prizes."  Atlee takes Lar's hand and maybe Violet frowns a bit.  But, she shrugs and returns to Luornu's side.  "Thank you for bringing is, Lu.  This is a great deal of fun."

Brainiac 5 has posed:
    Brainy seems very perplexed by that idea.  "Why would I want to play a game and not win?  The goal would be to win and obtain the most lucrative prize available—"  He rubs the back of his neck, and says, "There were some stuffed monkeys that had a certain aesthetic appeal at the shooting gallery, though they would need to be carefully cleaned to rid them of any parasites or contaminants—"

Invisible Kid has posed:
    Lyle grins.  "I had to do something, I hate having my picture taken.  Not bad for an ad hoc solution, I think!"
    He peers past Querl towards the games.  "I betcha Lar could knock the targets down with a surreptitious puff of air.  Or I could… arrange something.  I mean, if they're going to cheat, maybe we could bend the rules a little in return."

Violet (1272) has posed:
    Violet shakes her head.  "We cannot cheat just to win a prize," she chides.  "It would not be right.  Even if the game-runners are cheating, are we not better than that?  Let's just play the games and enjoy the fun."

Triplicate Girl has posed:
    Luornu looks elated that everyone is having such a good time.  Even Brainy… well, for Brainy.  She then half grins, shaking her head, "You're terrible," she tells Lyle, good-naturedly.  However, she's having far too good a time to nip Lyle's idea in the bud.
    She tells Lar and Violet, showing them the picture of Brainy, thumbing his nose at the camera, "I'm totally putting this up in the control room.  Dead center of the main wall."
    Oh, yes.  She has plans.

Brainiac 5 has posed:
    Well, of course, the picture of Brainy has flesh-tone skin and no visible cranial implants, thanks to the image inducer; but Brainy merely says, loftily, "I rather like it.  I think it says something about me and the way I choose to live my life."

Atlee (1034) has posed:
    Atlee nods firmly in agreement with Violet!  "Yes!  It is a game of change and skill, it would be wrong to cheat."  Of course, she doesn't realize that carnival games are often deliberately rigged to make it harder to win, of course.  She giggles as the picture is shown off, then points at a nearby ring toss.  "Oh!  Let's try that one!

Invisible Kid has posed:
    "I'll behave, Vi, I promise!" Lyle declares, hands raised.  "Even if it would be funny.  Can I do it if I see a little kid going up to try?"

Mon-El has posed:
    Stepping towards the games, Mon-El nods, and grins.  "Why did I not know stuffed monkeys would come into this."  Lar shakes his head at Lyle's comments.  "Of course I could… but where is the fun in that?"  Lar shakes his head.  "Bending the rules leads down a rabbit hole."  Was that almost a lecture?  One given with a very large smile.
    "Violet is right.  It is all about the fun.  I, of course, cannot play, because of my… abilities.  I will have fun watching you all do it though!  There is more fun in enjoying you all have fun."
    Mon-El laughs as Lu tells them where the picture is going.  "I support that, 100 percent Lu.  Everyone should see Brainy in perfect control of himself."  Sarcasm, but fun sarcasm.  Lar stands back in the background and watches his friends have fun with a smile, a nod and another candy coated apple.  CRUNCH!

Brainiac 5 has posed:
    After a moment, Brainy espies something else, and he returns… intrigued.  "Lyle," He says, "Could I borrow you for a moment?"  He seems genuinely amused and pleased about something.

Triplicate Girl has posed:
    "C'mon, Violet.  Let's see if we can do this, despite what Brainy says.  We've beat the odds before, right?"  Luornu is nothing if not optimistic.  She follows Atlee towards the ring toss, and she buys herself, Atlee, Violet, and if Lyle and Brainy want—all of them a turn at the rings.
    She tries.  She really does.  But, despite a couple close tosses, she's still not getting any prizes.

Invisible Kid has posed:
    "Borrow me for what?" Lyle asks—as if it would make any difference.  Brainy amused and pleased is going to be entertaining.  "What'cha got in mind?"  He lags back with Querl, watching Lu give it her best shot.

Atlee (1034) has posed:
    Atlee is a bit too enthusiastic for her first couple throws, but look like she's really trying to concentrate for the last.  Her violet eyes calculating, her tongue poking out between her lips slightly as she practices with that last ring… then carefully lofts it… annnd it bounce right off.  "Awwww," she says, sighing.  "It's up to you Violet!  You can do it!" she says encouragingly to the third girl up.

Violet (1272) has posed:
    Violet smiles to Lu as she's handed her rings.  She gives it her own shot and though she also gets close.  No (proverbial) cigar either.  "Oh!  So close!"  This is probably about as vivacious as even her friend have seen her in a long time, if ever.  "No plush animals for us, today."

Brainiac 5 has posed:
    Brainy and Invisible Kid disappear, for a time.  While the others are playing.  When they come back, Brainy is carrying a plain manila envelope, and looking… tolerably pleased.  There's a little bit of a smile on his face, at least!  And he's got another candy apple, and he's loosely clutching a cardboard envelope in his other hand, stamped with the logo of a photo booth the group passed by earlier.  He looks at the others, and then hands his apple and his envelope to Invisible Kid.  He walks up to a booth where you pitch a ball at the milk bottles, which are weighted so you can't ever knock them all down; he mentally calculates the physics, the weight and unevenness of the ball—and then he throws, knocking them all down with a clatter.  And then he moves on to the next.  And the next.  The attendant is flabbergasted; Brainy just points to an enormous stuffed gorilla, and later he walks back, carrying it in both hands.  He hands it to Triplicate Girl.

Triplicate Girl has posed:
    Luornu, of course, is more than absolutely delighted to get the huge, overstuffed gorilla.  So much so, she even squeals a little bit, and hugs the huge thing muchly.
    Of course, now?  Now she has to triplicate herself.  Because, she's going to have to carry the thing around.  Which means one of her is going to have to take turns holding the precious gorilla, who will no doubt get a very fun name in the next day or so.  "You are.  The.  Best," she tells Querl, cheerfully.

Invisible Kid has posed:
    Lyle returns smiling too, with a little spring in his step.  He peers into the envelope as Brainy collects the baseballs, and gives a cheer each time the milk bottles are knocked down.
    After Brainy delivers the plush simian to Lu, he leans in close and whispers, "And here I thought you were going to use that as a new outfit for KOKO."

Brainiac 5 has posed:
    Querl gives a lofty smirk.  "Thank you, Lu.  I AM the best, aren't I?  This is proving to be surprisingly enjoyable…."  He looks around, and puts his hands on his hips.

Atlee (1034) has posed:
    Atlee grins a bit as she folds her arms, looking happy for Lu.  "Wow, it's as big as you nearly!" she says cheerfully.  "That was great, Querl!"

Violet (1272) has posed:
    "Will there be room on your bunk for you AND the gorilla?" Violet asks.  "If not, it could come sleep with me once in a while," she says, looking a little sheepish after she make her offer.

Invisible Kid has posed:
    "Well, I won't fight you for it, Shadow qould probably sharpen her claws on it and that would be no good for anyone," Lyle remarks, grinning.  Then he leans back and whispers to Querl, "You softie you," and gives his shoulder a squeeze.

Triplicate Girl has posed:
    "He can most definitely sleep with you sometimes," Lu assures Violet, soberly.  And, one of herselves stares back at her other self, holding the Gorilla.  "He needs a name, though.  Hrm."  She seems to contemplate this, while her third self looks over at Lyle, and Querl.  "I'm really glad everyone is having a good time."  Because, really, that was the goal.

Atlee (1034) has posed:
    Atlee hmms, hands on her hips.  "He does!  Um… what is a good gorilla name…."  She frowns thoughtfully. "Um, well, gorilla's climb, maybe he's, um… no, that's silly… oh!  Banana Bandit!"  She grins.  "You can give him a bandanna and everything!"

Violet (1272) has posed:
    Violet sniles at that.  "He looks soft."  And she actually giggles, though she covers her lips with her fingers to stifle it a bit.  No, no one's hallucinating.  "I suppose I could shrink and he could be a whole bed for me."

Brainiac 5 has posed:
    "Shhhh," Brainy asides to Lyle, "I don't want everyone to know!"  Then he sighs, and strokes his chin, before he goes back to the booth, where the guy holds his hands up.  "Just take them!"  When he comes back, he has a giant stuffed ape tucked under each arm.  "That was easy, if not quite as satisfying.  Well, maybe I enjoyed the terror in his eyes just a little bit."

Triplicate Girl has posed:
    "It appears," says one of the Lu's who is presently not holding the giant gorilla, "That Brainy is… winning.  A lot."  The black dress Lu, however, is only grinning.  She's not disapproving.  The girl in gray is pointing to Violet, when Violet isn't looking at Brainy, while the one in white looks suspiciously at Lyle, crosses her arms, grins, and doesn't say anything.
    Aside, and loud enough he can hear, the Lu in black stage-whispers to Atlee, "Now Querl is having fun."

Invisible Kid has posed:
    Lyle snickers.  "And so began the legend of the Dox, bane of carnival and midway games all over the galaxy.  Are we going to have to change your dossier in the main computer when we get back?"

Brainiac 5 has posed:
    "Do you want your stuffed apes or not" Querl asks.  "I can give them back…."  He affects a mock-ferocious scowl, which is pretty realistic, considering.

Atlee (1034) has posed:
    "Yes, he is…" Atlee murmurs back softly, her eyes flicking as they… well, just relax and have fun.  "This was such a good idea you had."  She turns towards the black-clad Lu and slides her arm around her, giving her a firm hug.  "You are a smartie, yes you are!"  She grins up at her.

Violet (1272) has posed:
    Violet is quiet and thoughtful for a while, watching the others enjoy the games and the rides.  She's clearly having a good time, but she perhaps spent all her extrovert capital laughing a bit earlier.  She keeps a careful eye on Atlee, but doing her best to not be seen doing so.

Invisible Kid has posed:
    Lyle seems to be having as much fun watching Brainy loosen up as anything else.  Also, his nose catches a scent, and he lopes off to a nearby food booth with a "Be right back!"
    Which he is.  With a funnel cake.  "Who knew the food of this era was so good?"
    And yes, he shares.
