Zatanna Zatara has posed:
The weekend has come to an end, finally, without any major issues or crisis that required the League's assistance. One the one hand it was a welcome change. On the other? It feels a bit like a bunch of fire fighters standing around just waiting for the next call to come in. Sometimes it is easy to be on edge even when there is no logical reason to feel that way. Tonight, Zatanna emerges from the monitoring room, idly folding up a small bit of paper Origami style. It keeps her fingers busy.

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
    Strolling down the halls of the Watchtower, Hal Jordan looks distracted and pensive for a change. Something was on his mind, that was for sure. Walking briskly, but not too fast, he turns the corner and notes that there were several other Leaguers present. Noticing Zee, Hal moves towards her.

    "Um. Hi Zee. Looks like your mission monitor duty is getting over? Anything happening, or just a quiet night?" Hal's look quickluy changes from pensive and thoughtful, to warm and friendly.

Aquaman has posed:
Out of the Gymnasium comes the one and only, Arthur Curry, King of Atlantis, clad in surfer shorts and a tank top. He soon comes across where Zatanna and Hal both have met up in the hallway and offers a quick nod of his head towards the two. "Good to see both of you. Everything quiet still?"

Superman has posed:
No major issues. Just cats in trees. Superman floats in.

"Very quiet," Kal replies to Arthur as he too joins the hallway met up.

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Zatanna Zatara continues to fold the paper in her hands as she offers a smile to Hal, then to Arthur and, finally, Kal. "Hello to you all." She nods to Hal, "Finished up. Quiet as I've ever seen it. Not even any natural disasters at the moment. Seems almost like Mother Earth is napping herself. Guess we'll have to take it when we can get it, hmm?"

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
    "Arthur! Kal! Indeed. Been that way for a few days. Nothing major on the horizon that I can see. Strangely enough, now that the Brainiac situation is done, the Sector has been a little too "Q" word." Hal never tempted fate by saying "quiet". It was a cops bane, to say the least. As soon as someone says it, things tend to hit the fan.

    Turning back to Zatanna, Hal nods. "That is the truth. I get the feeling that something is coming, I just can't shake it. Been a few Lantern colors non-Green that I've encountered lately. I hope it isn't a form of foreboding. Hmmm." So that was on his mind.

Aquaman has posed:
"It does look peaceful down there from up here." Arthur agrees with a nod of his head towards Zatanna, "But I imagine there are a dozen banks being robbed at the moment, probably half in gotham, a fire based villain causing arson, and perhaps an evil plot to overthrow a city, all flying under the radar." He muses as he looks out one of the viewports.

Superman has posed:
Listening to the chatter, Kal tilts his head to try to catch some of the goings on on Earth's surface but from here and with all the watch tower noise, there's not much he can pick out. Well, he imagines Arthur's right about bank robberies in Gotham. He knows better than to even THINK about going there to 'work'.

"Agreed," is all the kryptonian says with faint nod.

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Zatanna Zatara listens and nods, finally finishing the origami she was creating. She comments to Arthur, "I'm sure. But you know He'll handle it. Even for those of us who have considered Gotham home before - He handles everything." Her tone wry as she draws her cupped hands up to her mouth to whisper a magical spell. Then she opens her palms to reveal a folded paper swan. As she blows gently on it, it begins to shiver and ruffle its wings as if there were features. Then, on a little trail of golden sparkles, the paper swan flaps and takes flight, soaring slowly upward in a lazy spiral around the gathered group. She smiles with self satisfation.

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
    Hal looks where Arthur was looking, and nods. "Yeah. It does. Strange, I don't even notice it anymore...imagine my first time!" Hal remembers his first trip to Oa, and the trip through space. Then, as Arthur continues, he chuckles. "Yep. Probably right. I'm sure Batman is in the middle of several of those. And Barry." Hal shakes his head and agrees with Zatanna's words.

    Looking over at Kal, Hal smiles, nods, "Ah. As succinct as always." Hal adds, "It is good to get up here, away from it all for a few moments, and compare notes." As Zee does her magic, Hal admires the work. "Amazing."

Aquaman has posed:
"You've quite a talent there, Zatanna." Arthur says, nodding his head at Hal's amdiration of the flying origami swan that Zee has produced. "So, has there been any further work on the avengers outreach that Diana was working on? I Had spoken with one of them, Captain America, briefly, gave him the tour of the Hall of Justice in Metropolis, but I haven't seen anything more on that front in some time."

Superman has posed:
Superman chuckles lightly at Hal's quip, blue eyes rolling just a bit. Just cause he's not feeling chatty today... Arms folding over his chest, Clark watches the magic trick with an appreciative smile, chlid-like wonder playing on his face for a few heartbeats.

"No, i haven't seen any of them actually," he says of the Avengers, lips pursing lightly, pondering if it's concerning or not.

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Zatanna Zatara just shrugs a little. "A girl has to keep practicing or she gets rusty. It's hard to make all those folds exact. If you don't? Well, the little thing flies lopsided. It's kind of embarrassing." She winks as she holds her hand up and the swan flits back to land in her palm. As soon as it does, it starts to unfold, returning to the flat piece of paper it began as. No creases or folds to be seen. She smiles just innocently. Magic isn't magic if she reveals how it's done, right? She looks to the men, " I've not heard about anything more with that. I recall Power Girl was interested? But then she got busy and... not sure after that."

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
    Hal nods, doesn't say anything as Arthur brings up the "outreach" program, and places his hands at his hips. "It has been a bit like pulling teeth if you ask me. I am unsure they really feel we need to be allies. I'm all for it." Hal nods. "After all, we need all the help we can get with the menaces that seem to be at our doorstep every day, but...well. There are other heroes out there willing to help out."

    As Zatanna speaks, Hal listens and says, "True. Practice makes perfect." A smile, then a frown. "Yeah, I haven't seen PG around. Is she okay?"

Aquaman has posed:
"Well, if I hear anything more about the program I'll pass the word along, maybe I'll try to visit Diana and see where we're at on that." Arthur says with a slight chuckle, "I met a Pink Lantern that was operating here on earth, which ones were they again?" he asks with a glance over towards Hal, "She showed up when a giant monster was woken from the depths by careless human explorations."

Superman has posed:
"As far as I know. She hasn't really spokken to me either. But if I hear from her, I'll ask," Kal says, not letting on that he's already planning a family get together at the Kent farm. Which is going to be very interesting because Lois.

It's either going to be BRILLIANT or a disaster. Batman is on speed-dial to save his cape.

"Pink? Lantern?" Kal asks, looking crious. "I met a blue one a while ago...."

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Zatanna Zatara shakes her head, "I haven't seen Peej in a few weeks. I figured she was busy with her own duties and things. Maybe we should check up on her soon?" She looks to Kal. Because family. She looks to Arthur, "Pink? Blue? Are those the original gender specific colors, Hal?" She looks at him curiously. "If so.. what's green supposed to mean....?"

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
    Looking at Arthur, Hal says, "Star Sapphires. Dangerous. They use the Violet power of the spectrum, which is love. I'd watch them if I were you." Hal smiles and nods to Kal. "Blue Lantern. There are two I know of. It was probably one I met recently that helped us against Brainiac. I'll make sure the League computers are up to date so everyone can be briefed."

    "Oh, and PG. Thanks Kal. I'm sure she's fine. It has been a hectic couple of weeks. We should have another League meeting soon, don't you think?" As the Deputy Chair, Hal gave Kal a little push. The Chair had a ton of responsibility, and Hal was trying to absorb as much as he could.

    Looking back at Zee, Hal says, "Long story short. Green is the power of Will. Each of the seven main emotional spectrum of colors can be formed into a ring and a lantern. ROYGBIV. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet. All the details are in the main computer, and if you have any questions, please let me know and I'll fill you in."

Aquaman has posed:
"Dangerous, really?" Arthur asks curiously, hmmning softly, "I suppose love isn't always a positive emotion, isnt it, especially if it's not reciprocated or wanted.." He says with a little consideration. When the subject of a meeting is broached he nods his head, "It is not a terrible idea, I know there was some discussion about recruits in the past, it may not be a bad idea to revisit some of these prospects."

Superman has posed:
Attention shifting to Hal, Clark gives the Lantern a nod of thanks. Things do get hectic some days.

"We really should. Later this week, you think?" he asks his deputy, because really how else would he have gotten this to work so well without the other man. Zatanna's look is noted and Superman gives the wizardress a nod, arms unfolding finally.

"Yes, of course," he agrees, head tilting in a manner that says: talk more later? Especially since the conversation is returning to recruits.

"Indeed. There are a few new names to consider and older names to finalize. When is everyone free then?"

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Zatanna Zatara listens to the explanation. She laughs, "In the computer? Why would I look there when I can ask you directly?" She winks at Hal but with the sense she will in fact go and read up soon enough. She nods in agreement on th emeeting. "I can be here anytime." She pauses, "But not the thirteenth. And not the 31st. And I'm booked on Labor Day. So. Otherwise. yeah." She grins at Kal.

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
    Hal nods towards Arthur, and says, "Very apt description Arthur. I've known first hand what that kind of raw emotion can do to someone." Hal doesn't need to mention Carol Ferris. It is implied by his frown and distance that it still affects him.

    "Yeah Kal. Good idea. This week is fine with me." Nodding, Hal agrees with Kal. "Shouldn't be too hard. We can all get on the same page about what is going on in our spheres. And the new recruits." Hal nods to Zatanna, and makes a note of that with his ring and a touch of willpower. "Excellent."

Aquaman has posed:
"It's good to have that information, incase an, I dunno, Orange Lantern comes creating giant anvil constructs to drop upon our cities, we may have some idea what is going on incase Hal is off in space, and isn't available to answer the questions right away." Arthur says in response towards Zatanna with a chuckle, "I can make time whenever you need it, Kal." He says to Superman, "I can shift meetings, and such."

Superman has posed:
"Alright then. First ones of us to get a hold of Batman, Flash, J'onn, and Diana, see when they're free and let me or Hal know. See if Wednesday or Friday is good. I don't htink I have anything those days," at least not yet. Of Orange Lanterns and anvils, Kal can't help but picture ACME style shenanigans, and it has him shaking his head with a soft chuckle.

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Zatanna Zatara nods. "Got it." She looks to the others. "I'm going to head out for tonight. If something comes up and you need origami swans to beat it, you know how to reach me!" She winks. "Have a good evening guys."

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
    "Sounds good Arthur." Hal nods. "And you are right. Orange Lantern would probably steal the city though, before dropping an anvil on it." Hal grins. "Sounds good Kal. We'll set it up. I am free both days. The rest, we'll put feelers out." Turning to Zee, Hall waves and says, "Night! Be safe! See you later!"

Aquaman has posed:
"Have a good night, Zatanna." Arthur says to the token sorceress of the league, giving her a little nod of his head before turning back towards Superman and Hal, "I should be able to do either of those, I'll check my schedule to verify and if anything comes up I'll put out the word."
