Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Black Cat, Phage

Black Cat has posed:
Felicia Hardy isn't exactly a woman to keep a schedule. But when the United States Justice Department calls, a girl answers. Seems -someone- got wind of a handful of scumbags who laid hands on some defunct high-powered weaponry, inserted tab A into slot F, crosswired, and were selling them on the black market. It isn't the first time she's been called in to find out where weapons are coming from, or where they've gone. But it's certainly the first time she's been called in to find some that probably don't even work, which poses a threat to anyone who buys them, as well as the public at large. And so, assignment successfully memorized, she emerges from the double glass doors, having been ushered around the metal detectors both on the way in, and on the way out. A silvery grey business suit accentuates her curves. Her hair, a pale blonde the colour of summer straw, is pulled into a professional updo, and she's wearing black-rimmed glasses. Very professional. Especially for the inventor of mischief beyond the imagination.

Phage has posed:
Carl Mach is many things depending of who's asking, why or if he can be bothered. Especially the latter. Many services, favors and finances were misappropriated to mean he's standing outside those doors when the world lights up. With a sure stride he walks up to Felicia Hardy and says, "Hi there. I'm Carl Mach. Officially... we've not met. I wondered if you would like to spend some time with me in a profitless and non practical way?" Absolutely no pretense. Others can manage stealth. Subtlety. When you can do without any of those, overplaying your hand and caring not as you fall over the edge... one of two things happen. Either someone responds to it and you're rewarded or your gonna fall flat on your face at terminal velocity. But, if the rest of your life's only gonna be three seconds... who cares. Better to ask. So, he offers his arm to her and sees which way this'll go.

Black Cat has posed:
Somewhat dazed, Felicia furrows her brow, if very briefly. "I-I'm Feli--" Has she given him her name? No...not that name. NEVER that name. But clearly, he knows. How else did he find her? How...DID he find her? Trailing off her introduction, she switches gears. "Some very stupid people must owe you some very BIG favours, Mr. Mach." Her blue eyes sparkling with a hint of green, she takes his arm with a a lighthearted smile. "I was hoping to spend some time today in a profitless and nonpractical manner. I'd love the company. Where shall we squander our existence for awhile, that won't get us killed?"

Phage has posed:
"My success rate is directly proportional to how interested I am at the time Felicia, did you say? A pleasure to meet you." She didn't shoot him... or, worse, blow him off... so it's a good start. "Well... it took the devils own work to find the little details that'd let me make such a smart-ass introduction. So, I hoped to fall back on my luck letting us go where the wind took us and, in a city so known for doing anything but, take a walk to start with." He returns her smile with one of his own. It has been tipped heavily to clear this years awards ceremonies. "As for your life... I can promise while I'm around you are quite safe. People seem to like to shoot at me. A lot. Can't imagine why. So, you will be quite safe... me maybe less so. Shall we?" He asks before gently starting and setting a pace. It might be a different time but the city used to never sleep because no one was waiting on windows to update. So he starts to walk with her hoping the rest of the city hasn't passed by without him.

Black Cat has posed:
Felicia laughs. She can't help it. She's heard a million come-on lines in her day, but this... "Felicia. Yes." Her cheeks colour just a touch. He's gone to a great deal of effort, and done his homework to find a woman he met once, on a rooftop. "Do you regularly stalk women in such an unorthodox manner? Or shall I consider myself divinely lucky to find you outside a top secret meeting in a government building?" Walking? In four inch heels? No problem. She can fight crime in six. "And I believe you can rest assured that, in my company, anyone who'd challenge you will find themselves wrestling a rotten bit of luck." She half-smiles and actually pulls closer to his arm as they walk.

Phage has posed:
"Stalking kinda involves hiding and lots of creepy criminal activity. I walked up to you and said hi." Mach starts softly. "Any information to get me to that point was recieved from independant sources that chose to remain anonymous. It may also have been several times the fortune, favor, and markers handed out than I thought it'd be."He admits, "Easily worth it a thousand times over." He chuckles happilt and softly, "Well I feel even more fortunate again for having you here to protect me." There's random streets and other things passing. At least he guesses so. However his attention is more focussed on her pulling closer. There's a little more brightness to his smile from that alone.

Black Cat has posed:
Looking up at Carl, Felicia can't help wondering softly, but aloud. "You felt it too, then. That night. I didn't think I'd ever see you again. As long as I've been in this city, and everywhere nearby, I'd never seen you before." She watches him curiously for a moment, then looks back down at the concrete passing beneath their feet. "I'm not one given to 'butterflies,' Mr. Mach. Nor have I ever been. People....Men. Are just a means to an end. I'm not an angel on my knees. ESPECIALLY on my knees." She laughs, and shakes her head. "I don't believe in a lot of things. But I now believe in butterflies."

Phage has posed:
Taking a turn into one of those stranger parts of the city the scenery changes. At one time it was all grass. Or sand. Or something. But, out of reasoning that tried to accomodate everyone and, therefore, made noone happy... they move into the greens and unfamiliar natural colours of a park. He'll notice later. "I did... not personally... move quite considerable mountains just to see you again. I could have been wrong but then you stepped through the doors and the world lit up. It'd would have been bad of me to follow up and be sure after a chance meeting with a not so chance one. In fact... I had a question." He doesn't say what it is. More waiting to see if she wants to know what it is. As that makes more sense. Honest.
