Cast of Characters: Indigo, Viridian

Indigo has posed:
    Indigo is back.
She's washed her hair, and brushed it back into her old, flippy bob. She's changed out of Peter's leftover Ravager clothes and back into the rubber battle bikini and flared boots she was originally dressed in. Her shoulders are squared and her jaw is set; anyone looking at her might think this is all about determination. Viridian, connected to Indigo's brain as she is, has the inside info: it's not determination, but deception. Indigo means to go help her (probable) great-grandfather, and she'll do it looking the way she looked when she was healthy inside, not wearing the new look that covers her in her own confusion to hide her shame at her appearance.
That's just the information Viridian might have picked up on her own. The information Indigo deliberately sent to her wife was, <<Viri, I have bad news. Brainiac 5 has been attacked, and probably shunted to another dimension by an alternate version of himself. The Legion of Superheroes needs my help getting him back, so I'm heading to Earth.>> She doesn't say that she won't go if Viridian commands her not to; she doesn't need to say that. <<Can you come with me? Should you?>>

Viridian has posed:
<<Of course I'm coming,>> Viridian responds briskly, shaking herh ead as she does. She moves through the ship easily, following the signal that Indigo shares with her to locate her wife in all of her usual, uniquely Indigo battle regalia. The petite blue-haired Xandarian girl has no troubel locating her lover and rather than speak further immediately she steps into place beside the gynoid and hugs her tightly.
<<Of course I am going to help you. Are they going to object to me being there?>> Viridian doesn't sound overly concerned with that propsect but she does quietly vocieh eri nsecrity nevertheless. If it will be a problem they need to face it head on, or so is the impression Indigo would get from errant thoughts.

Indigo has posed:
Indigo smiles quickly and kisses Viridian. "I don't care if they do," she replies aloud to the wireless question. "I care about how you feel about facing another Brainiac in your current health." She then presses into Viri's hand one of the Milano's miniature space suits: she already had a pretty good idea of how Viridian would respond. "I booked us passage to Earth (that's where this is happening) on a freighter, and we're going to need to jump ship soon to make the meeting point. You have time to collect what you think you'll need, though." And maybe a little more time than that, since she's still holding Viridian in a warm hug.

Viridian has posed:
Viridian lays into that hug for a time, her head agianst Indigo's chest. SHe nods ocne ubt is otherwise silent while she is being held, enjoying the closenss between herself and her wife. Finally Viri nods, albeinnt impercpetibly. "Well, then I guess that's that. I'm going twherever you do. And if it means facing another Brainiac... THen we'll do that too." She takes a ddeep breath and hols it for a couple of beats. "I'm ready, if I have to be. I'm glad you'l lbe with me this time, though." Viri gives more htei mpression of a smile than the physical motion. It isn't like Indigo could see one from her right now anyway.

Indigo has posed:
"You don't have to be ready yet. You have a whole day for that," Indigo deadpans (even without the technopathic link, it's not convincing; her smile is as audible as the electronic hum of her vocoders) as she squeezes Viridian a little closer. "And for what it's worth, this one is biological. Minimal cybernetic enhancement, to all current data." She steps back from Viridian then, hands on her wife's shoulders, gaze on her wife's eyes. "What can I do to help you?"

Viridian has posed:
"Well... That's a good start," Viridian replies judiciously "Rub my shoulders?" the small woman asks gently, her blue eyes widening slightly while she takes the opportunity to study her wife's features carefully. "The bots can get our things together. So we have the next day to ourselves, I guess."

Indigo has posed:
"A private honeymoon trip in a freighter's cargo hold," Indigo agrees, smiling. Her hurt is still there, always there, but Viridian's presence always makes her happy. She leads her wife over to one of the benches lining the mess table and sits her down on it, then takes a seat at Viridian's back, legs spread in a wide V to be able to sit close enough to massage Viridian slowly and carefully. She actually ignores the shoulders at first, instead pulling lightly up on the back of Viridian's neck, as if milking her.
