Cast of Characters: Arnim Zola, Albert Wesker

Arnim Zola has posed:
Arnim Zola had many things on his mind but one of those things was Hydra's failure to secure the research of one Doctor Albert Wesker. A talented student of the bio-engineering discipline that Arnim himself had once pioneered who's research pushed limits to achieve unheard of results. Naturally, Strucker and the others bungled the whole business, attempting to take by force what Zola would prefer to have freely given. The trick was all in the presentation.

Zola knew much about presentation now. When he was alive, he was unimpressive and timid, now that he was dead, he could pick the right face for the right occasion and could conjure the right personality to match. In this case he chose the LMD he'd named Hans, after a particularly handsome but oafish man he'd known in the service of Hydra and so, Hans' fair haired good looks, coupled with Zola's mind made an impressive envoy.

Dressed in a grey suit, Hans sits at the bar sipping whiskey, and waiting for his contact to arrive.

Albert Wesker has posed:
Many things happened since Raccoon. Including the attempt to recruit Wesker himself, the video footage from the base showed the creations he had brought with him, when the base commander had sent word of their desire to obtain the T-virus, G-virus. Wesker had played the part of a perfect gentleman, listening to their offer, and then waited for the confirmation of that it was Hydra who had accidentally caused the city wide infection.

Then Wesker revealed his own super human abilities. Speed, strength, agility, supreme hand eye cordination all surpassing Captian America. And unlike Captain America wielded with lethal efficancy. His displeasure at the Fiasco they caused also made him unleash the Nemesis he had brought with him, armed with gattling guns cut down everyone in their path, while relitively slow they were neigh unstopible, going down, picking them selves up and continuing the assault. In the end Wesker killed the base personel, took the files from their computers and captured the commander promising they would beg for death long before they were granted it.

Considering his responce to Hydra, meeting Wesker in any capacity is dangerous for any hydra offical even a messenger. Still, while it was a Hydra messenger, Wesker has not killed him. Maybe he got his message across? Still the messenger returned with word Wesker was on his way. And as typical Wesker is tendering the high class location, a wise choice considering Wesker seemed less than pleased with HYDRA approaching him and he wasn't. Dressed in his trade mark black outfit Wesker enters the blocation eyes surveying the are and either waiting for someone approach him ot spot the most likely person he is supposed to meet. He knows starting trouble here would be bad, so he will wait for trouble to be started.

Arnim Zola has posed:
Zola's people advise him of Wesker's arrival, and Zola rises from the bar after finishing the whiskey he'd ordered for himself. The sensory preceptors of the LMD he wore was not quite the same as human ones, more accurate, yes, but not quite the same, or at least so Zola thought. It had been fifty-three years since he'd had something else to compare it to.

Zola moves across the bar and coming to stand before Wesker, offers his hand. "Doctor Wesker, a pleasure to meet you at last," in this body Zola could have any voice he wished, but he kept the faint touch of a German accent in his words out of a sense of nostalgia. "Shall we sit and have something to drink?" he asks. "You may call me, Hans."

Now wasn't time for names, this was the time of pleasant smiles and kind words and if that went well, then, truths could follow.

Albert Wesker has posed:
Wesker will spy the man who raises his arm and slowly begins to approach. Every movement carefully measured, and precised. His body language tells of a man who desires to be in absolute control. As he says, "No thank you Hans. I never drink on the job. I must say I was rather unpleasantly surprised to find the messenger on my door step." Still Wesker observes plesantries as he makes sure that his seat is safe to sit in, and then Joins his Hans looking him over eyes glowing bright red under his sunglasss a sign that preceeded his previous attack. But no attack comes.

"To what do I owe the displeasure of this meeting?"

Wesker's enhanced senses already hard at work inspecting the man before him, his area, what is going on around him. Something is off.

Arnim Zola has posed:
Hans's face smiles at Zola's command. The expression looks off, like the memory of a smile, removed from the true article. "Understandable, Doctor, then let us sit, talk and expedite the end of your displeasure."

Zola sits. "I am taking it that my messenger was alive to return your agreement that we might be able to look past our previous disagreements and find some new type of accord, beneficial to us both?"

Albert Wesker has posed:
As he sits down and listens. "Even I am not one to simply kill a messenger. While I have no objection to such, I only kill when it serves my purposes." His head turns left and right. The place is well guarded, mutants can find emply in Madripoor easilly. The super strong, durible, and fast serving as body guards, bouncers. A few here he knows are strong and durible. Still the one rule of this place is very simple, start no trouble period.

Wesker's body has little skin exposed but is in his lightly armored outfit and carrying his weapons and thinks. "I am listening."

Arnim Zola has posed:
"My colleagues underestimated you, and tried to take what you had developed by force. For that, you have my apologies. What I proposes instead is an arrangement of affiliation, so we might grow together. You see, Doctor, I am a man of science and admirer of your work. I see some of the genius of our late Doctor Zola in it," Zola says through Han's lips, he can't help but praise himself. "What I propose is mutual assistance, we will no longer try to steal your work, but purchase it, and in exchange Hydra will provide you with intelligence and support to ensure that your research may continue without too much interference from the authorities," Hans, slowly reaches into his suit jacket and produces a flash drive which he lays on the table. "Information on those who are currently investigating your work with an eye towards theft or exposure. A gift and a sign of our good will," Zola pauses there, letting it all sink in. "So, what do you say Doctor? Do you think such a thing could work?"

Albert Wesker has posed:
Wesker is listening to this man, as his senses tell him something is off. He's not sure what yet. But he will know sooner or later. The Flash Drive is taken hold of as he inspects it. before placing it in a small case. One that is lined with materials to block most advanced tracking devices. The information is a good start but he nods. "Yes and the base commander is still in the process of understanding my displeasure at her actions."

Still Wesker decides to aleviate himself to a drink ordering a double scottch. "My Products are indeed for sale to anyone who can meet my prices, even your particular group."

Of course Wekser knows that this man is lying about not stealing his work. Still tongue and cheek lies here. "The information is a start in theright direction. I am planning on an Expo of sorts for those interested in seeing my products. I would expect some groups would be very interested in making sure it fails." He says with a slight smile.

Arnim Zola has posed:
"Good to see you run a tight ship," Zola says about the base commander. "I assure you the ones who survived the failed raid on our side, suffer equally." Actually, Zola had no idea what those men were doing now, they weren't from his head of the Hydra so to speak, but it made a pretty story.

"Good to hear," he says Wesker's wares being for sale. "My colleagues will be happy to hear, it, you can expect word through appropriate channels, as you know, we've had losses lately, and need to fill some gaps."

The Expo earns a smile, "Ah an Expo like Stark?" he says with a chuckle, "Just a good deal more gruesome, ja?" the little bit of German slips out but it made him seem perhaps a touch more human. "We can provide protection for your event, keep it from the eyes of your enemies. The cost of this can be worked out in wares when my colleagues make contact."

Zola nods, fidgeting with his hands a little, missing having a drink in them, before he says. "And on a personal level Doctor, I hope we might exchange ideas separate from this arrangement, scientist to scientist? Some of my thoughts are on the drive as well."

Albert Wesker has posed:
With a nod Wesker says. "Attempting to Keep it from unwanted ears is a fuetile attempt. It is always best to plan for their involvement, and adjust accordingly. and attempting to stop such powerful Heroes is difficult at best, if not impossible." He says giving a slight smile and incite to his thinking. "I will consider what you have given me. But I do want to make something very clear. We represent groups of action. Lies... do not become us. If given the oppurtunity you would steal what is mine in a heartbeat. And you have seen the results of it's misshandling."

Wesker refering to Raccoon, "I am well aware of your groups multiple leaderships. Be assured I know better than to go after the head of a Hydra, I'll go for it's heart. And unlike SHIELD... my methods will be far more... effective."

Which is saying something considering Wesker's not bound to the same moral ethics SHIELD is. "As long as Hydra's heads understand this We can do business. But ifI catch wind of them researching or having obtained what is mine... the results will be. Unpleasant."

Arnim Zola has posed:
Zola nods, "Yes, your work can be dangerous in the wrong hands, so, consider it done, we will not attempt to duplicate your work. Though, you are correct, if it served Hydra's ends we would steal what we wanted from you, however you have shown yourself to be both strong and resourceful, which is why we deal now."

A look is given then, firm and not entirely human, "So, we have an understanding then? It is better to be friends than enemies?"

Albert Wesker has posed:
Wesker is observing Hans very details as he listens and nods. "Indeed we have an understanding. In our respective lines of works, the best we hope for is a Truce, until one perceives the ability to utterly dominate the other." Wesker understands the game and it plays to his hand to make sure part of it is shown. Oh he has already been making plans within plans. And once they are realized a group like HYDRA will be obsolete in the NEW World Order.

Arnim Zola has posed:
Zola too understands the ethereal nature of truces and offers his hand, "Then, allies, until such time as we are not."

Once the handshake is done, he rises. "I will leave you now Doctor, but the drive will give you means to get in touch. Enjoy your day."

And with that Zola leaves.

Albert Wesker has posed:
Polite Wesker takes Hans hand as he makes sure that he doesn't touch with skin to skin contact. You never truely know what these people have up their sleaves. In fact he is sure if they could they would clone him in a heart beat.

"Indeed I will make sure that Word is sent on the expo."
