Cyberdragon has posed:
There are many in all sorts of places that need help, some times it is a hand, other times. It is a simple hot meal, and for some food kitchens, it is both. Right now having managed to get a good deal of money saved up. John Coltan has chosen to come to the Homeless Shelter in Suicide Slum with a small cab and in the trunk has bought several hundred dollards worth of food, canned food mostly as the young man dressed in sweats with a large canine next to him, a Tibetan mastif the pair are getting help from some of the Workers in the kitchen as they all start to carry in loads of bags filled with food, mostly none parishibles.

Coming to the cab driver he is offering him his fair and a tip, only to be surprised when he says, it is on the company. and a merry christmas is wished as John Coltan and his dog Ceaser finish helping unload the trunk of the cab.

Mon-El has posed:
Lar finds himself exploring some of the Metrpolis' less well-off areas. After all, if this is the world he's going to be living in for a while yet, he might as well get more familiar with it.

He approaches the homeless shelter, at first working to acertain its purpose. Oh, right...there were -some- places like these on Daxam too. Granted, they were a lot worse than this one. But--that's irrelevant now, right? Lar notices a cab pulling up and a bunch of people working on unloading food to take inside. So he walks up to the trunk and just picks up the entire rest of the food load at once, then starts to follow the workers inside.

Superman has posed:
Clark is already inside. The big, awkward man is smiling and helping out as best he can. He slouches a bit, and tends to be awkward as heck, but it's clear he's built quite well...even if it comes off as midwestern huskiness and not the real build of him, though ditching the shirt would change that, of course!

Today he is here for the children, really, and the families with them. There are a sad number of homeless families. Clark is dressed as Santa Claus, with a nice red suit, fake belly and beard. It's a -good- costume, to be completely honest. He is kneeling at one side of the shelter, smiling and laughing, and hauling small, but nice presents out of a bag as he hands them to the kids and chats with the families.

Cyberdragon has posed:
as The stranger comes over to simply lift the food out the young man in sweats and his chajet will be surprised but happy thanking him for lending him his strength and aid as the items are all brought inside and the Dog follows obediantly without a leash. AS the food is brought in John firmly tells the dog to "Lay down!" And he moves over into a corner where he can of course do as commanded. Children of course some of them admiring such a large canine ask if they can play with him and John looks over to ceaser and says, "Alright, but if he growls you need to leave him alone." he warns. But the children are extatic as the large Tibetain mastiff seems to just soak up and enjoy the attention playing, and pawing at. He doesn't bark, or growl, but pants out.

For those with enhanced senses, the scent of the dog is off. He doesn't truely smell like a canine

John on the other hand is heading into the kitchen area where he can hang up his coat and get to work at cooking food.

Mon-El has posed:
Once inside, Lar puts the food down wherever everyone else is putting it, since he has no idea where it's supposed to go otherwise. Taking in the sights and sounds, he finds that this is actually a fairly happy place it seems. At least for a place like this, anyway. The ones back home...were definitely not happy at all. Which was probably the fault of his own family. He sighs and shrugs the thought off.

The dog is regarded as a pet of some kind, and he's probably seen others like it around. He also takes note of the interesting costume Clark is wearing. It looks familiar because he's certainly noticed that style of outfit seems to be displayed in a lot of imagery around here right now. And those colors also seem to be pretty popular, too. There is also something oddly familiar about that man who is dressed in the colors as well, but he just...can't quite place it. It's kind of frustrating, and he finds himself staring.

Superman has posed:
Santaman finishes handing out the presents, and he rises to his feet with a deep and cheerful 'Ho ho ho!' He then turns and makes his way over to the food area, in hopes of snagging some water. He flashes a smile at the sight of the dog, even as he notes it doesn't feel quite right. He adjusts his glasses and peers curiously before glancing away.

He adjusts the big fake belly and clears his throat, glancing over in the direction Lar and John are putting things away. "Hey! Hate to be a bother, but could I get something to drink, please?" His accent is pure midwest.

Cyberdragon has posed:
as John was about to start doing some direction he smiles at Santaman as he says, "Of course Santa, anything for you." and he offers a wink coming to the back and says, Gatorade water, tea, soda?" he asks as the smmell of cooking fills the air as John looks to the other (Mon-El) "You are welcome to stay, and have dinner with us." he says and of coruse what ever Santa wants he gets. As John comes out and asks, "So santa what brings you here from the North Pole? Simply spreading holiday cheer?" he asks

Mon-El has posed:
Lar just keeps staring at the man dressed in red and white, trying to figure out where in the galaxy he has seen this guy before. Not just a passing glimpse, either. As if he knows him personally from somewhere. But no matter how hard he thinks about it, he just can't remember.

Finally, John addresses him, lurching him from his reverie. "O-oh--uhm...well, thank you." he says, smiling awkwardly.

Cyberdragon has posed:
Still as John hands off Santa his drink of choice he will start on the cooking as his dog and the children play. The large animal is large enough to give some of the smaller children pony rides as the Dog takes it in stride.

John asks, "So what Brings you to the area today looking for a meal or just to spend time with someone?" he asks as Mon will find, someone asking him if he wants some hot chocolate or egg nog to drink.

Mon-El has posed:
Lar shrugs at the question. "Well, I saw you and some other people working on hauling some food in here, so I thought I'd help out so you wouldn't have to make any more trips to your vehicle."

When someone asks him if he wants hot chocolate or eggnog, he just kind of looks confused. "Um, how about you pick something?" he responds finally. "I'm sure they're both good."

Cyberdragon has posed:
Getting the impression he is not from around here offers him some Egg Nog as it might be something new as it is non alcoholic as he says. "And for that I thank you. It helps keep the chances of trouble starting outside low." and he starts to pull up some dinner pots which can be used for baking and roasting the food, such as turkey, ham, and of course chicken and duck.

Mon-El has posed:
Lar nods and takes the eggnog. "Not a problem." He tries the drink. "Hmm. That's...interesting. Well thank you for your hospitality!" he says with a smile. "It's a good thing you're doing here. Keep it up. But I'd best be going." It doesn't really feel right eating food that was meant for people who actually can't always afford it.
