Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz has heard about the most wild bar in all the galaxy. The BUrnout Pub of the disembodied giant robot head known as Knowhere. She arrived there a few hours ago. Deciding that what amounts to a galactic police uniform was in bad taste, she turns off her Lantern costume before anyone sees in a dark alley and walks out in street clothes. A gray blouse and blue jeans - with leather gloves on to hide her ring. It still works like this of course. She just looks like another normal woman in a bar - except a human such a long LONG way from home might catch some attention as she sits down and peruses the menu.

Adam Warlock has posed:
Inside the bar, is one Adam Warlock. Golden skinned, red-eyed, but beautiful as the sun. He wears black and dark red robes that cover the entirety of his body. a staff in hand and a hood over his head, he smiles softly when he sees Jessica Cruz. the curious creation deciding to come over and greet her. "Excuse me, miss...?" he asks curiously, looking her in the eyes if she looks at him. He lowers his hood to reveal his face.

"I have not seen too many of your kind around these parts...are you Xandarian? COuld you tell me more about your culture?" he asks then, looking so excited to just -know- more. Alas, he's not creepy in how he asks. His voice is serene...beautiful, could calm a raging sea kind of calm. He speaks with a heavy curiosity.

Nonetheless, he was excited, and whoa, she was pretty. STAHP ADAM. you need to learn.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz raises an eyebrow. "I would be surprised if you ever saw one of my kind around here. Very surprised..." She hmmmms softly. "My race is called human. I'm from Sector 2814." She smiles faintly. "And... my world has many cultures." She ponders. "I just arrived here. Can you recommend a good drink?" She glances at you. "My name is Jessica Cruz. Who are you? And... what race?" She told Anillo not to speak here - she doesn't want to give away her status as a Lantern unless she must though feels Anillo vibrate, wanting to tell the answer.

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam Warlock, looking to Jessica then with a tilt of his head. "Oh? are you not Xandarian? very curious." then she says that she's human. "huue..man?" he says then. "Human. What a wonderful name for a race of beings. So many? hundreds of cultures? tens?" he asks then, trying to get as much information as possible. "I apologize, I must be asking a great many questions.

He extends a hand then, because that's how lifeforms greet each other! "I am Adam Warlock. It is a pleasure...and I...don't know what I am, really. Oly that I was created." he smiles softly to her then. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Jessica Cruz."

Jessica Cruz smiles as she extends her hand - she is wearing a leather glove. "An artificial life-form. Splendid." She gestures to the stool next to her and places an order for something she hopes is total rotgut. The barkeep slides one her way and she takes a swig and chokes. "Whoa... that's... some good stuff. Wish I could bring this other Jessica here..." she mumbles. "Though not sure she's survive.."

Adam gives Jessica's hand a nice shake, before his eyes look at her. "ah yes, artificial life form..but that is a generalization, no I wish...to know what I -really- am, if I can. Alas, my creator is evil." he says then without regard, his eyes shifting to see Jessica choke on that hard liquor, patting her shoulder and upper back softly before his hand goes back to his side. "Oh? There is another named Jessica? is this a surname perhaps?" He lets that pause.

"In human culture, would Cruz be, in technicality, your first name? or would it be your surname? Or....is Jessica simply a common name from which biological parents name their progeny?"

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz pulls her gloves off. And a simple green ring is visible. "I might be able to help with that..." she murmurs softly. "Do you know what this is?" she asks, gesturing to the ring visible, with a lantern logo. She smiles faintly as she takes another sip - getting more used to the stuff now.

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam looks at the Green Lantern Ring and -now- things make sense! "Oh! so you are of the Lanterns? Very impressive. Ii hear many things about them." he's soft spoken about it, soft enough for only them to hear, but waht the ring picks up?

Adam is a very.....genetically weird being. He's not quite like anything else in the universe. The only one of his kind. His genetics are everywhere....but he -does- have a small fraction of human in him. But in terms of belonging to an actual species? Artifical creation is probably the best way to describe him.

Jessica Cruz just smiles as she gently touches the ring against you. She listens quietly to the result that's piped into her ear. "Hmmmmm... you're organic... even have a bit of human in you - but as far as I can tell - with the entire galactic encyclopedia available to me - that you are unique... and probably genetically engineered." She smiles faintly. "So you'er right about that. But they did a good job - you'er very handsome."

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam Warlock seems to 'ahh' a moment, looking directly at Jessica as she explains what he was. "So...my suspicions were true. I belong to nothing." he sighs am oment, before he smiles. "Oh well. I believe the term is, such is life?" He sees her as being so beautifully curious, the way she compliments his appearance causes him to blush faintly...he's not used to it. "Oh..why thank you, this is one of the only times someone has referred to me as such. I think you are rather beautiful yourself, my lady." he says in a humble manner, but hw as truly being honest about her appearance.

She was the most beautiful thing he's ever seen thus far, and that's saying something. He was just too nervous to say it.

"If you like, I'd like to spend time with you. I've never met a human before."

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz hmmmmmmms softly as she gazes at you, as she knocks back the entire drink of... whatever it was. Something.... green. "Yeah - Sector 2814's a long way from here. But for some reason, there's a lot of us, relatively speaking, in the Corps. I think six. Some entire sectors only have a single Lantern but there's so many of us... we might be special." She smiles faintly. "And I've never met a genetically-engineered Adonis before either." (The word 'Adonis' might not have any meaning to someone not from Earth.)

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam looks directly at you as you speak to him about the Green Lantern Corps, the way that there are apparently more in this sector 2814 than any other sector. Perhaps this place is quite special? Who knows! Either way, he smiles softly to you as you call him a gentically-engineered Adonis. "Ahhh I see. so you are unique in more than one manner of speaking?" he takes a single step towards her, leaning agains the bar with his staff in hand, looking directly at her with those crimson eyes, but there's a beauty to them.

"I know not what an Adonis is. Is he a famous figure on your world?" he asks you curiously, though it's clear he's very interested in you.

Jessica Cruz gazes back into those red eyes with her chocolate-brown eyes. "In Earth mythology, Adonis is the most handsome man ever created by the gods." She smiles faintly, then blinks. "An interesting name, 'Adam Warlock'. I have to ask - are you capable of magic? Your last name, 'warlock' would seem to indicate such..." She smiles faintly, her face a bit flushed as she orders another drink.

Adam smiles big and warm to you as you look right at him, his gaze never leaving those beautiful brown hues for even a single second. "Ah, I see...then I am deeply flattered by you referencing me to such a creature." his cheeks blush a little bit, not used to being complimented in such a manner, but he does inch just a little bit closer to you, almost shoulder to shoulder. At the question of his last name, he nods softly.

"I am. I am greatly skilled in the mystic arts, along with a host of knowledge in the field. It is one of my passions in life, for it is the energy of the universe itself. A true marvel to look upon. I would love to learn more than even my knowledge possesses, for certain." He smiles warmly to you then.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz smiles faintly. "Well - before I got my ring, I wrote fiction novels... and..." She frowns. "Does the name Volthoom mean anything to you? Before this Lantern ring, I was... possessed... by another." She sighs as she pulls up her right sleeve. Faint dark green scars mar the smooth flesh, like 'roots' originating on her ring finger. "It was... horrible. A sentient force inhabited it - forcing me to try to cause fear - what it fed upon... maybe... you've heard of it? It got fed up with me and left. It's still out here somewhere..."

Adam looks at you then with a smile to you as you start to say you were a writer! "Oh? How marvelous! I've met so very few writers. I'd like to read your works, if I may?" though he hears that she was possessed by Volthoom. "Oh yes...I know of this name. Ancient and powerful. A once great light, now foul darkness." he shakes his head sadly.

He reaches down as if to hold her hand with his. "I am sorry you had to suffer such a being. I pray that you recover well?" he asks her then curiously.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz blinks. "Since the ring left on its own will, mostly... those you can see the scars and..." She trails off. "I sometimes take sleeping pills so I don't remember my dreams..." She blinks. "I... I suppose my willpower to fight Volthoom to a standstill is what got me this ring..." She ponders. "I'll see if I can get one printed - I'm almost finished with the latest one - I wrote the last one under Volthoom's influence and it didn't do well." She ponders, swaying a bit. "I... ummmm..." She blinks. "I think I'm a bit hammered. Didn't think I'd get this shmashed so quickly... should... take nap before going back... not shure where..." She's starting to slur her words a bit.

Adam Warlock has posed:
Adam looks at her softly, looking at you as you speak of the scars that haunt her even to this day as she eventually became a green lantern for her courage and willpower against such a foe...but then he sees her sway a little bit, how she speaks that she's possibly a little bit too much on the drunk side. He does offer the woman his hand. "Shall I walk you toa residence, then, my dear?" he asks her then, though he was leaning towards her a little bit.... She could steal something if she wanted to.

Jessica Cruz blinks as she takes a brief kiss from the handsome man before you. "That would be lovely," she mumbles. "Though I don't have one planned... do you?" she asks in confusion. "You sheem like a nice man..." Anillo starts to talk and she slaps the ring. "Quiet, you. I'm off doody." She then rolls her eyes up and almost collapses.

Adam is kissed!

During the kiss, he feels agreat many things...teh way his heart beats about a thousand beats per second, the way he feels like this woman is the best thing that ever happened to him...the way his hands even briefly wrap around her during the kiss...but then it's over, and whiel Adam wants more, he smiles softly to her, blusing bright red.

"I-I u-uhm...I-Uh....have a place..yeah....y-you cna rest there.." poor sod just had his first kiss with this extremely beautiful woman. Though when you almost collapse, he wraps his arms around you, carrying you while his staff just attaches itself to his back. "I will take you to my home on Knowhere...there you will be able to rest peacefully."

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz nods slowly. "Thank you..." she mumbles, trying to get to her feet as she starts to follow you, leaning against you for support. "A good nap... sounds lovely..." she mumbles drunkenly as she finally collapses - she doesn't normally drink and she couldnt' hold her liquor.

Adam Warlock has posed:
Warlock catches Jessica as you follow him....then lean on him, which he rests his head on your own...until you end up passing out right next to him. Thankfully, he manages to catch Jessica pretty quickly before she can hit the ground, and porceeds to carry her the rest of the way to his chambers so she can rest peacefully. Note to self...she shouldn't drink.
