Black Cat has posed:
Bored. Bored, bored, bored. The Black Cat has been crouching in the dark and dusty loft of a warehouse in Hell's Kitchen for longer than she cares to admit. She's so out of her mind bored that she's batting a dustbunny around on the floor in the draft that skids across from the ventilation windows on one side of the warehouse to those on the other.

Did that just move by itself? Yes....yes, it must have.

Batbatbat....POUNCE.

Daken has posed:
Daken had been wandering through Hell's Kitchen, but since he was so far from home and he actually felt like sitting for a moment, he figured the dark scary warehouse would work just fine. He has a beer in his hand. Whiskey, specifically. He moves through the area, looking around...until he sees a pouncing Black Cat! "Whoa!" and he stumbles back a little bit, bumping his head against a column. "Ow..." he says with a strong shake of his head.

"....another cat lady?" he asks curiously. Unlike Black Cat, he wasn't wearing sexy tights. He was just in a longcoat, black pants, a red shirt, and fingerless goves.

He was just trying to chill.

Black Cat has posed:
Frozen in the darkness, the leather-clad kitten pauses, pupils dilated, staring at drunk hobo. A soft hiss escapes her lips, but she doesn't move as she watches the guy reel from a conk on the noggin. Guess that'll teach him not to sneak up on a Black Cat.

Daken has posed:
Oh no, he's not tired, he's just vaguely curious. He ends up yawning a moment before he cracks his neck, which strangely cracks -really loudly-. "Oh, a black cat. Arn't you bad luck or something?" he smiles then, tossing the bottle aside as he kneels down as if to look her right in the eyes.

He was -definitely- not drunk.

"So...whatcha doin'?" he asks her curiously.

Black Cat has posed:
"I was looking...at something...." Cat rises then to her feet, tilting her head and looking down at the stranger. "And I guess I could be -very- bad luck, if the wrong person crosses my path." She looks around the warehouse, but there is still no sign of tonight's shipment. "And what are YOU doing? You don't work here."

Daken has posed:
Daken tilts his head at her then. "Ah huh...I'm lookin' at something too. Ya wanna get specific?" he teases her softly. "Well...I thought I smelled a cat burglar, so I thought I'd come check it out. Though...to be fair, you don't exactly work here, but you are doing some kind of work here, so I'll give ya that."

a smile.

"The name's Daken. What's yours?"

Black Cat has posed:
"You already said my name," Cat retorts with a smirk. "The Black Cat. And I -am- working here, yes." Her eyes flit down to the dustbunny that she's CERTAIN moved on its own this time. Pupils dilate, nostrils delicately flare. Must...not...tackle it.

"I just didn't expect someone like you to show up here tonight. There are gonna be about 28 guys show up in the next thirty minutes with fourteen wooden crates. The less people they encounter here, the better."

Daken has posed:
Daken looks at her. "Huh...I dunno how you match The Black Cat with Cat Buglar, as one is three words nad one is two words, but hey, it is what it will be." he stands up to his full height and he cracks his neck a little bit ash e looks at her. "Well....I wasn't expecting to find anyone either. Just followed a hunch. But here we are."

"man...30 minutes huh? So...what exactly do you plan on stealing? Doesn't look like a place where you'd find diamonds, mind you."

Caim Kataras has posed:
"Hell's Kitchen isnt the best pickings when it comes to things to steal." A greek accent comes as Caim approaches, leaning heavily on a cane as he makes his way over. "Still, Diamonds have been known to appear in the rough." Caim says calmly as he watches the two. His posture seems to be someone ready for combat.

Black Cat has posed:
And then there were two. Black Cat shifts her gaze between possibly not drunk homeless guy and this new fellow with a cane. "Who said anything about STEALING anything? You assume just because I'm wearing a mask and hiding in a--Ok yeah I can see where ya got that. But that's a dangerous assumption...Wait, are we fighting? I didn't wear my fighting bra..."

Daken has posed:
Daken then looks to Black Cat with a little grin on his face, before he turns around to see Caim coming around and looking for a fight. Daken narrows his eyes at the man, clenching his fists but no adamantium claws come out quite yet. "Another one?" though he looks to Black Cat, giving her a little wink at her bra comment. Conversation for later, got it.

"Relax pal, we don't need to fight." Daken was attempting to turn over a new leaf...be a good guy. or at least a neutral guy.

Caim Kataras has posed:
"So you must be the legendary Black Cat. I am honored to be in the presence of such a great thief. The FBI and New York City police departments would love to speak with you, Miss." Caim says as he walks closer, leaning on his cane and he watches the two of them. "I may have use of some of your talents, Black Cat. Best of all I can provide you a haven against law enforcement." He says calmly. "I am Recruiting special individuals of skill and powers to my cause. Nothing flashy, just some loyalty and a hefty portion of my wealth will be used to back you up." He explains as he looks to Daken. "You look fairly familiar. Who are your parents?" He asks curiously of the man, studying him now. He then chuckles. "As much as I love a good fight, I am here to recruit her." He says softly.

Black Cat has posed:
The Black Cat blinks and looks between the two. "Now I feel all left out. You two seem to know me, and possibly each other. But I haven't the faintest clue who either of you are. And I even wore a mask! How could you possibly recognize me?" The logic is clearly baffling and not even....logical. But she's sticking to it. "The government knows how to reach me. But another contact -might- be useful. At least we're not fightin' because I didn't wear my fightin' lipstick, either." She pouts.

Daken has posed:
Daken looks at the fellow then with the cain, though he doesn't seem to let down his guard. "Your stance says otherwise." he looks at the way his feet are planted. He was expecting some retaliation most likely in the physical sense. "Already told you my name, Cat." he says then. "All you need to know." He says then. "Though if I were you, I wouldn't." he mentions about the offer.

"Backroom deals like this always have a cost. Doesn't matter if they want you to steal something or skin someone alive." two very different things, he knows, but his point is that you're at the mercy of the employer. He looks at her then. "Strange place to meet a lady. Wasn't even gonna take her out to dinner first?"

Caim Kataras has posed:
"Well lets put it logically. How many beautiful women have white hair, wear a mask and leather with a cat theme? Gotham has the catwoman but you...you are in a league of your own. A shame I do not know your identity." Caim says softly as he watches the woman with a grin before turning his attention back to Daken. "I wasnt sure she would accept. After all, I could be a cop trying to make a name having caught her." He says calmly as he shrugs looking to Black Cat. "If you wish to have dinner though, I wouldnt turn down the company of a beautiful woman." He says with a smile.

Black Cat has posed:
"Well, someone's logic is at least more logical than mine." The Black Cat smiles briefly before there's a clatter outside an overhead door that begins to rise. In the gap beneath the door, the feet of twenty men or more await entrance while the door rises slowly up to admit them into the warehouse. They are carrying heavy wooden crates, two men to a box.

"Lift with yer legs, Boys," Cat whispers in their direction, as she reaches for a device on her belt and crouches low.

Daken has posed:
Daken watches Caim then, looking him in the eyes. "Wow...you are -really- fishing." He tells Caim then, before he watches the doors open. He simply turns to walk behind one of the boxes, and if Black Cat or Caim were to follow him? once they went around that corner, he was gone.

He knows his stuff.

Though if BC is smart, she'd probably pick the high ground to hideout too if she was attempting to avoid a fight.

Who knows what Caim can do?

Caim Kataras has posed:
"Just testing to see just how controlled you are." Caim says with a smirk to Daken. He then turns to Cat and reaches into his coat to reveal a grappling gun and a rounded amount of cable. He fires it into the roof and begins to climb it, carrying his cane in his mouth as he climbs to the top and onto the roof of the building, watching the others to see if they make it up there,

Black Cat has posed:
Cat exhales a sigh of relief. With the other two disappearing, it's time to go to work. She drops the device at her feet, which silently begins to build a smoke screen. Then, she too disappears. But in the direction of the incoming boxes, and the goons who carry them.
