Smart Alek has posed:
Alek is staring into the window of a internet cafe, he's not looking at anything in particular, just a sort of blank stare... his fingers seem to be pressing random buttons and waving things away with slight movements. some people actively avoid him on the sidewalk and some of the internet cafe inhabitants have already rearranged themselves to not have to see the odd fellow.

Lucky Day has posed:
Tom walks in and is quite relaxed, glad he got away from the two he had cursed earlier. As he moves he is curious and sees things that most don't. He looks at Alek trying to determine if he is having a seizure or something.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek may look like he does have some sort of brain issue, though he doesn't seem like he's unsteady.. He mutter's, "Telemarketer..." A person walking by cellphone rings and he answers it and quickly hangs up, "Damn those robo calls." They continue their way down the sidewalk.

Lucky Day has posed:
Tom is curious a moment and then turns his head to the side trying to figure it out and then gets it, "ARe you a technomancer?" He asks Alek politely, extending his senses to find magic but getting none.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek seems to not hear or even notice Tom talking to him... he's more audible since your closer, "not gonna catch me there.. behind you.. ha gotcha." he grins a bit, if your familiar it sounds and looks like he's playing a video game, though he's staring at the glass of that internet cafe.

Lucky Day has posed:
Tom doesn't wanna interupt the guy or wake him from sleep walking but he is getting a little annoyed. This in turn is helping Alek's game in a major way as he starts to KILL IT in his performance. He moves a bit closer, "Hello, you OK son?

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek grumbles as he looks over to Tom, though the eyes only connect with his for a briefly moment, "Hey.. umm, Hi. I let me pause." he blinks deliberately, "I'm okay just was middle of a little capture the flag. Need anything?"

Lucky Day has posed:
Tom says, "Yes. You dont appear to be magical but you're clearly interfacing with the net. Mutant?" He is curious. Someone with Alek's skillset is a very useful type to know for a border line legal type like Tom....if Tom is guessing right."

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek says, "Mutant.. Gifted... Genetically Unique.. Oddball.. Evolved. All acceptable." he nods, he bobs a bit, his eyes seem to almost deliberately avoid yours, "And yes, I do have some Autist tendacies.""

Tom says, "I wasn't going to say but interesting information. I find Autists among the most honest people I deal with frankly. I can't get angry at them easily or like you as easily either which makes my curse more blunt. I'm a luck mage. Are you a super hero or do you use your gift for..." he lingers, "other ...things."

Alek says, "I'd love to be a hero, but.. Gamer, Adventurer, Observer, Hacker, Explorer all fit what I do at the moment. Do you consider yourself a hero?""

Tom says, "Ah. Sometimes I do things that are less than ethical but usually for the greater good. I am a luck mage who specializes in bad luck. I trade favors for favors. Do you have a contact? And a hero...in another life, maybe. Now I just try to do as less harm as possible."

Alek says, "Contact, You mean like Email or Phone Number..." he pauses a moment, "I put it in your phone under Alek. Easier to just do it then go through the slowness of typing it in and such." he nods, "What's your name again?""

Tom says, "Yes, preferably a phone number. Email only works for me sometimes. This is not my phone but I can memorize it. If I don't I dont get to keep it really. Tom Night. Pleased to meet you. Purely in a professional capacity. People I like get hurt."

Tom says, "All the time. Just being around someone too long is a bad thing. If I like them, they have terrible luck, if I dislike them they have good luck. It never ever stops."

Tom says, "I am still trying to figure that out. That's why someone with your skill set might come in very handy for reversing the curse. I trade favors for favors. Need someone or something to have bad luck? I show up at the right place and time."

Tom says, "I will contact you later with what clues I have. And that would be quite a favor, I'd have to kick up some powerful reasons to hate you to increase your luck but I am good at lying to myself"

Alek ponders, "No need for luck I make my own...Well, you better be getting along so you don't become a hazard... Does it work long distance or you need to be close by?"
