Gorilla Grodd has posed:
Gorilla Grodd has been waiting to check up on his criminal assets in the United States for some time but laying low so as to avoid conflicts that might upset the balance of power for his UN bid. Finally he can wait no longer though and has arranged a meeting with Maya.

Echo has posed:
Echo walks quietly into the room and toward Grodd, "You wanted to see me?" she asks him and puts a hand on her hip. "You've been laying low," she assumes.

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
Gorilla Grodd says, "I have been. I do not want to risk our UN bid with my intelligence operations. But obviously I want to check up on my off the grid assets. Have you been inspecting the list of properties Ia sked oyu to examine?"

Echo has posed:
Maya Lopez shrugs a little and doesn't seem phased by the answer and then says, "List of properties? No," she answers, "If you left me a message you'll have to be more explicit."

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek is sitting nearby in a booth, he's staring at the empty seat across from him... to everyone else they see just a blank stare, for him. He's currently watching a particular radio transmission he found interesting. o O (*radio noise* Lucy.. You got some explaining to do.)

Echo has posed:
Maya gives a nod to what Grodd says, "Shut up for a second," she says and leans out of the booth so she can glance back and forth at the people in the restaurant. She then looks back at Grodd, "Make sure you keep your disguise up. I was investigating Lady Contessa's property and I think she spotted me," she explains.

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
Gorilla Grodd checks the holoemitter and puts up a psychic illusion just in case. He doesn't like underlings telling him to shut up but he doesn't reject good advice either. He looks around, looking carefully mentally checking his dosier on the Contessa. There isn't much there but some.

Ekaterina Vespucci has posed:
Into the fine dining establishment comes a small woman who stands at around 5"2. She is cute as a button with large cornflower blue eyes and a innocent nigh angelic face. Under her arm she carries two large cardboard cylinders that are a little too much for her to handle. She smells of dust and paint and small flecks of it cover her. She looks to be in her late teens to easrly twenties. Her attire is female winterwear casual with jeans and a beanie for her head. She explodes clumsily into the room and walks over to Maya and Grodd. This apparently is the Contessa? This is what passes for a crimelord in the 21st century. "Sorry I'm late - I had to finish up teaching my class at the Community college," she says beaming at them both.

Echo has posed:
Maya frowns confusedly and mutters annoyedly, "I think she followed me," she explains to Grodd. She leans back in the booth and drapes her arm over the top of the seat, wondering what passes for a powerful crimelord at the moment.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek blinks and changes radio spectrum he's watching. o O (*inspector gadget theme song*). A waitress comes over, "You going to order something?" Alek deadpans over to her, "Huh? Ooh, Burger.. with Cheese.... Lettuce... Ketchup..." each word said little too long of a pause between them, She nods, "That all?" Alek nods, "That's all."

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
Gorilla Grodd laughs, "I think Beanies are coming back into style. I made one for a friend of mine recently. I love it. Please, sit, join us." He is completely relaxed, "That's fine. I find I like her style. Call me Grodd." Sensing the latent presence, "And I think you know what I am yes?" He has a small orange light dot his 'cufflink' and he looks at it and then Alek.

Ekaterina Vespucci has posed:
"Oh thankyou," the small woman says effusively. Before she sits she introduces herself with a small curtsey, "Sono la Contessa Ekaterina Vespucci. But everyone calls me Kat believe it or not so you may as well call me that. I may smell a bit of paint sorry about that. My Art Hisdtory class that I teach was doing a practical."

Echo has posed:
Maya leans forward and frowns, "There's an idiot at the other booth, so watch what you say," she tells him. She looks back up at Contessa and frowns, not understanding her.

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
Gorilla Grodd says, "Oh he is most definitely listening in on us. And apparently is capable of more than that, arent you?" He looks right at Alek. "Go ahead, don't be shy, come on over." He nods to Ekaterina, "Lovely. I have never taken or taught the arts but back home we appreciate it and fund it greatly. Did you recreate something from the past or make something original?"

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek comes back into this reality for the moment to take a few deep breathes. o o ( Remember to breathe Alek.. you go away too far bad things like suffocation could be bad. ) Gorilla Grodd references him. "What? I.. not doing anything wrong." He looks a bit scared.

Ekaterina Vespucci has posed:
"I don't think we're accusing you of anything hun - just offering you some company." Kat was very good at being reassuring since she was terribly unthreatening. As for her art class, "Oh we were doing something original in a classic style," Kat says. "I prefer renaissance art."

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
Gorilla Grodd is completely relaxed himself. It's not like they sat around talking about crime, but he winks to Maya as Kat extends the invitation, "Order anything you like from the menu, my treat. Original in a classic style. My favorite kind. I don't own art myself but a lot of it is like that.

Echo has posed:
Maya is looking up at The Contessa as she talks to Alek at the next booth. She then glances back at at Alek, "Yeah, come join us. Reveal your inner most secrets," she says and smirks.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek starts to look at his feet and do a little bit of a bowing motion, "I... okay." he gets up and heads over, "Umm, not much to tell.. I didn't mean to be listening, I was watching I love Lucy and Inspector Gadget.."

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
Gorilla Grodd grins, "Really? Is that what you were really doing Alek?" He knows better since his detection gear is rather good but lets Alek answer how he will. "We're all just talking about realestate...and art of course

Ekaterina Vespucci has posed:
"Ah the classics," Kat says, "I was always more a fan of Our Star Blazers than Gadget. The original movie that sparked off I Love Lucy was a riot too. The one where her and her husband drove around in a massive mobile home. Seen that one?"

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek shakes his head a bit, "no one watches stuff that old on netflix much.." he comments, "You invite random people over to your booth much.. I.. guess I don't mind it, just... different." He looks visiblely nervous still, his eyes never really connect with people's eyes for long, it looks terriblely painful when he does, as if he feels like he could be tossing the wrong body language out.

Echo has posed:
Maya Lopez scoots over at the booth and motions Alek to the seat next to her.

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
Gorilla Grodd says, "I do all kinds of interesting things where humans are concerned." He grins a rather monkey like grin. "Starblazers are great. Gadget, not so much. I find Doctor Klaw hilarious." He cracks his knuckles and orders a sandwhich."

Ekaterina Vespucci has posed:
"Interesting how Penny being so bright with her computer book and all always ends the episode trying to get her uncle to apprehend the bad guys. Somehow she is unaware that he is extremely foolish. Still - better than the live action movies." Kat of course still talking about cartoons. She orders the cheese chowder and slurps messily. "So we were here to discuss real estate?"

Echo has posed:
Maya Lopez glances back at The Contessa and asks, "How much property do you own?" she asks her.

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
Gorilla Grodd says, "Matthew Broderic is the human I'd eat last, and yet I find those movies....proof humans should be eaten sometimes." Is he joking? He nods to Maya, "Much better question"

Ekaterina Vespucci has posed:
"That's a bit direct..." Kat says frowning. "But I own commercial galleries in every major city. A number of warehouses one which I repurposed into a secured compound, studio and living area. I own one club in New York City. I also own a property that I run a soup kitchen for the homles out of. Presently I am also repurposing a warehouse in New York to act as a venue for a charity Art Auction. You should come to that. I'll send you the details," she says to Grodd and Maya. Not clear whether the invitation extends to Alek.

Gorilla Grodd has posed:
Gorilla Grodd nods, "I see. That could be very useful to invest in." He hands her a card. All perfectly legitimate here. He relaxes, "The club in particular looks interesting.
