The hunt for a Battery
Date of Scene: 27 November 2018
Location: Gotham City
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Star Shimmer, Ultragirl, Robin (Wayne), Amarok

Star Shimmer has posed:
The trip to Gotham with Breath went well enough. Sadly, the simple knock and visit her old apartment did not go as well. Either no one was there or no one was answering. So plan B. Autumn, or Nightingale as she is right now, Decided on a rather different plan. She would come back at night and take a page out of the Bat Family's book.

Tonight is the night. Across the roof tops the dark violet armored woman races. She's much more used to flying but, She knows to at least respect Batman's territory by not going full bore Star Sapphire in Gotham. So, Nightingale it is. Finally she makes it to the old apartment. Silently she drops on the fire escape and just watches inside, giving her own creepy vibe.

Ultragirl has posed:
It was an odd route and really she had no idea where she was going. Suzy, aka Ultragirl, was not from around this neck of the woods. And while 300 mph was not that fast by some heroes standards, it was damned fast if you were flying. Now, she was looking down and blinking and scratching her head, "That does not look like New York City." SHe sighs as she floats there, considering and hten blinks.

Her eyes, as they are, don't see the same way other people's do. She sees spectrums that are many times greater than others and so when she spots a warm spot moving in a pattern that isn't normal, she begins to fly down. No way anyone would be running the streets like that, it had to be higher up. So she goes in to investigate this odd warm spot moving across buildings and finally coming to a stop.

Behind Autumn, she might hear the noise of wind before a voice calls out, "Hi there!" She declares and waves a hand, "You really supposed to be up here, this time of night, peeking into windows?"

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Clandestine operations were Damian's speciality. Though a Robin doesn't need to hide in Gotham unless he wants to.

Gotham has been a bit more unruly as of late. More activity with the mob bosses and their underlings fighting each other. But petty crime? Peeping toms? Not so much. Which is why Robin seeing such a thing was...out of the norm. But then...someone else shows up. From a rooftop across the street Robin sets up a perch, listening in on the conversation going on. Mainly trying to figure out if he is going to have to catch two people in this crime or only one.

The Boy Wonder himself, doesn't make any attempt to conceal his outline, or the bright colors of his uniform.

Star Shimmer has posed:
No one's home. Go figure. Well, No harm in going in and exploring right. Still, Its not like her key is going to work anymore. They most likely changed the locks. So, why not test her skills. Taking a deep breath, Nightingale begins focusing on her love. On manipulating her the light and the way it affects her body. Her whole body glows violet, albeit dimly. Then... She moves forward.

**THUD!!!**

Just as she was about to pass through the window... quite literally. She was called out by a female voices. Rubbing her head she turns to look at the source of the voice. Immediately she recognizes the girl. "Owww! I need to get in there quick. There is something really important of mine that if I don't get I'm going to have a serious problem!"

She turns back around. Her body dimly lights again and she moves right through the window. The window was not opened or anything. She phased through it.

Inside, Nightingale quickly looks around. She knew the apartment and when suddenly she gets a very clear image of what is going on here. Some people broke in. Were using her home to sell drugs out of. She will deal with this later. For now, she moves to a very secret area. A hidden cubby in a wall. She looks in and finds a note where her battery is supposed to be. "Oh no. Great." Quickly she takes the note and makes her exit. She'll read it on the roof. Within a moment she is on the roof tops. Her attention goes to the paper.

Ultragirl has posed:
Rushing forward, Suzy moves much faster than any person could, especially while flying. However, she ends up just pushing a hand to the glass and peering inside, "How the..." She mutters and looks around the window before considering just lifting it open. Sure, she'd break the frame a little but the potential crime...

She then frowns when she looks in to see the figure moving and then up and out. She follows and ends up landing on the roof with a noise, "Excuse me." She states, "Whether or not there is something important in there to you, breaking and enter...well, entering or uh trespassing is against the law." She nods her head and crosses her arms.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Phasing through glass...interesting. Then the second female starts intervening. An excuse to take it easy and allow someone else to fight crime in Gotham? Hell no.

The grapnel gun launches and lifts Robin into the air, allowing Damian to make the cape rigid and glide in for a landing on the roof. "What did you take?" No accusations, but the tone is certainly damning.

Amarok has posed:
The paper reads, in classic newspaper cutout font, "LOokeD exPenSiVe, OuRS noW." with an address written below in the same manner. It's not far, just a few blocks away. It /IS/ however a notorious gang spot, with some of the meanest pimps, dealers, and crazies this side of the mask. How delightful.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Nightingale sighs and reads the paper. "Dammit." She looks at Ultragirl and with a slightly annoyed look in her eyes, she focuses. Violet light ignites at her feet and quickly envelopes her, changing her clothes from her Nightingale Armor to her Star Sapphire attire. "I used to live there. I needed my battery. Its not there. Someone stole it. I need it or I'm going to have a very bad evening."

Thats when Robin shows up. She nods to him, "Hello Robin. Here." She hands over the paper. "Hows the Bat?" She asks curiously. "Don't think I've met you before. I met Nightwing a few times though that was months ago. Will be happy to catch up more after I get my battery back." She sighs. "If I don't get that back, I will lose my powers." She sighs.

"Okay Its not far. What can you tell me about that area? Anything crazy going on there these days?" She asks Robin. Her attention then goes to Ultra Girl, "Sorry I didn't say anything. You caught me while I was getting ready to phase. Its a very difficult technique. If I don't focus on all the love within me, I will wind up either smacking into the window... Or half phasing through it and winding up in a very messy situation."

Ultragirl has posed:
A squint at that last bit and she tilts her head, "That's...a potential issue?" She then shakes her head, "Hardly seems worth it." She shudderes. SHe's never tried to regrow a limb, let alone half of herself. She doesn't wish to try. Either way, Ultragirl simply looks over at the note but doesn't read it as it wasn't given to her. She eyes Damian a moment before looking then back to Autumn, "You need a battery?" She asks and then blinks, "Are you...uh, are you a robot?" She asks and then considers Autumn more carefully.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Robin reaches for the note, reading it. "Your Power battery was stolen. The question isn't why was it stolen, but why didn't you take it with you." His comments are pointed, yet delivered mostly without emotion, save for the slightest bit of anger.

Autumn's explainatipn of her technique only garners a scoff from Damian. Then in response to Ultragirl, a <tt> is given, the tsk sound of frustration. "It is a power battery. The source of a lantern's power. Without it, they will eventually fade and lose their commission in their corps." He had read much information on the Green Lanterns from the Batcomputer, only he didn't know what a Star Sapphire was, but connects that their emotion is love, instead of will.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn sighs, "Yeah, Well. I didn't exactly have a choice in the matter. I was ordered by Queen Aga'po to go to Zameron. When the Queen makes a demand you do not argue." She shakes her head and looks in the direction of her battery. "I'm a Star Sapphire. Not a Green Lantern. I'm not Military in nature. I had it stashed somewhere I didn't think anyone would find it. Hell I didn't think there would be drug dealers living in my apartment! I fully intend to solve that problem in the near future."

She looks at Ultra Girl, "I'm a Star Sapphire. I use a violet power ring to spread the light of love to the galaxy. I Spent several months on the Star Sapphire base planet. The Main battery's location. Not a robot in the least."

Her body lights and lifts up, "I'm going to get my battery back. If you want to come help, I welcome it. If not... Well. Not going to push anyone."

Ultragirl has posed:
A blink as she hears that and then she nods to Damian, "I uh, see." She looks then to Autumn, "So, like a space hippy?" She then blinks, "No offense. I mean it sounds ultra cool. I just, well..." She stands up straight and nods her head, "I will be glad to help. Though, I hardly think that drug dealers would be much of a big deal." She looks to Damian and then at Autumn, "I mean, if you want I can just go...take it back from them. Is it breakable?" She asks, "I mean, what are they gonna do? Shoot at me?"

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Robin gives a scoff. "You get recalled to some planet and you still don't take your power battery?" Thoroughly unamused, Robin envelopes himself in his cape, the scalloped edge reminiscent of Batman's dangle off his body and conceal his utility belt and arms.

Damian readies his grapnel to follow. "By all means...'Space Hippy'." He says, a small smug smirk on his face. Which in of itself spoke highly of what he thought of the joke.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Well. Thats one way to annoy the hell out of her, "If you want space hippies, Find an Indigo. They have a commune somewhere." Autumn lifts off and starts flying in the direction of her battery. "Why the hell would anyone want to steal a Lantern battery? The funny thing is, I had another thing hidden right beside it that was far more valuable. My Original Nightingale suit that Batwoman gave me." With that she moves to the Address on the note.

"It would take a lot to actually break my battery. Those things are tough. Wish I knew when I left what I know now. I'd have stowed it in a small pocket dimension. I know the greens do that with theirs."

Ultragirl has posed:
A blink and she stares for a moment, "Indigo? I meant no offense but..." She then stops a moment, "How many colors are there?! Honestly, Indigo? Isn't that the same as...nevermind." Ultragirl sighs and shakes her head as she flies after and then looks over at Robin a moment before looking forward, "If it is tough to break and such, I really could just crash their party and take it fairly fast. It'd be no trouble."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian swings with the grapnel, keeping up with the rest. "Whatever an indigo is, can't be more hippy than 'love'."

"If there were crackheads in your apartment, then they probably tipped someone off on it. Substance addiction will make desperate people even more desperate for a fix." Ultragirl seems to garner a more positive response from Robin, maybe. "By all means then smash away."

Amarok has posed:
The gang's den of choice is a seedy, rundown, POS of an appartment building, the sign missing almost all of the letters, and only one of the three outside lights working. The GCPD must really REALLY suck if they haven't been able to get a warrant for this place yet. Through the upper floor windows, graffiti and addicts can clearly be seen, and with a few more creative angles, some of the walls have been knocked down to merge rooms. Any further analysis will require actually breaching, or having some form of X-Ray vision, you radiation happy weirdoes.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn looks at Damian and then Ultragirl, "I thought casing the place would be a good first step but, you're Batman's protoge. you got this. Lead the way, I will follow in and show em just how unhippy-like the violet light of love is." She smirks.

"Also, Robin, weren't you listening. The Indigos have a COMMUNE! They don't leave. Their fuel is compassion but they never go out and do anything. They hang out in their little commune singing kumbaya."

Ultragirl has posed:
A glance over at Damian and she shrugs before she looks then to Autumn and then says, "Well. There's always the front door?" She asks and then looks over at the place and winces, "Though even in my situation I'm not sure touching anything of this building is a good idea..." She shakes her head a ltitle before clearing her throat, "Anyway I..." She blinks, "A commune? Compassion? Now, what is the difference between...wait, Compassion? Really?" She sighs and shakes her head, "Anyway, I don't know. I hit this place too hard and it might collapse. Easiest way is kind of this." She just floats up and notes the people through the windows, "Hi." She calls out and then she just idly pushes a hand out and taps the glass. The tap though, is...well, it's an Ultragirl tap and the glass basically shatters inward close to where she tapped it and she floats through, "One of you stole something that belongs to someone I know and it'd be ultra cool if you gave it back." She then chooses someone at random and with a blur of movement she is in front of one of them smiling wide, "You think you can help with that?"

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
"And a corps that 'spreads love throughout the galaxy' isn't just as bad? Love didn't do anything for me on the summit of K2."

Damian cases the joint, again landing on an adjacent building. "Five stories. The piss-ons wouldn't have the battery, it would be on the top, or if the leadership is smart, the fourth floor."

Ultragirl's show of power causes Robin's eyebrows to raise, that was a doozy. Soon enough Damian swings through another window, catching another off guard. "Get the purple lantern or we start breaking bones...one by one until you're going to need a fuckin' full body cast."

Amarok has posed:
None of the addicts have pretty much any noteworthy response to Tsu's arrival. Hell, a couple of them have needles still sticking out of their arms, and on in the corner is very obviously dead. I wont go into details for the sake of those with weak stomachs. The addict that Tsu blurs into the face of stops, gets a confused look on his face, and then reaches out, trying pathetically to pat at her face, like he isn't sure if it's real or not. If she makes no attempts to stop him, he will continue fondling her face like a ball of clay for at least fifteen seconds, before just kind of losing interest and resuming his torporic trip. Damian is not so lucky, bursting in and getting right into the face of a guy just in time for him to cough up smoke right in Damian's face....How charming. Those with super senses, or in Autumn's case, a universal scanner/encylopedia, will be able to easily detect several different drug labs on the floors above, including meth, crack, heroin, ect. The fire marshal would curl into a weeping mass if he saw this place.

Star Shimmer has posed:
"Nightingale, There are a number of toxic substances in this building. Advise remaining shielded." The voice comes from Autumn's ring.

"Thanks Libby. What can you tell me about the substances. Use local names please." Autumn responds.

"Crystal Meth, Crack Cocaine, Heroin: Black Tar variant..." She would continue listing the substances until...

"Okay got it. Great. Crack house.Just what the doctor ordered." She looks at the crackhead who happens to be smoking like a chimney, "Okay time to get some information from this guy." She points her ring and a beam of violet light covers him. They guy may find he's not exactly feeling so high anymore..."Now then, where is my item that you all helped yourself to?"

Ultragirl has posed:
A blink as she is accosted by the guy and she swats his hands away before backing up. She quickly steps back and looks over at Damian and then Autumn. She blinks at her methods before shaking her head a little and looking up. She looks this way and that before saying, "There's a lot of weirdness going on above. I really can't pick people out from all the various instruments giving off heat. It's...odd." She states and nods her head, "Whole place is really." She frowns, "Why...why do people do this to themselves?"S he looks back at some of the people and frowns, "And that one is dead."

She floats up off the floor and idly floats around back toward the window, "I can check the floor above easy enough...just don't want to go through the floor. Afraid the whole building will come down."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Instincts kick in as Damian stops breathing for a moment to keep secondhand at a minimum, crack smoke was not a pleasant experience. He stands, staggering a moment before he notices the crackhead is zonked. "Goddamn it all." It was enough for him feel elated for a short amount of time.

He remains quiet, as much as he can for the moment. Nightingale was already working on a more reliable source of info.

Amarok has posed:
The poor, dumb, ugly, stupid, crackhead looks confused and starts hyperventilating as his buzz is suddenly gone. What a bummer. He takes several more HARD drags off his crack pipe, looking more and more panicked, and then drops it with a surprised scream when he noticed Robin recovering from his facefull of crack smoke. As one might expect from seeing one half of the most terrifying duo in Gotham, the man immediately starts screaming in horror at the top of his crack addled lungs....which means basicly a bunch of yelps and wheezing choked coughs, as he attempts to run for the door.

Meanwhile, when Tsu decides she doesn't like having a creepy junky playing with her face, he makes the tiniest sound of disappointed confusion, before just resuming his torpid trip. Because drugs are depressing.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn rolls her eyes, "This is getting us nowhere. I doubt these guys are gonna do squat unless we deal with the drugs here. Libby whats the charge at."

"The Star Sapphire Power Ring is at 25% charge."

She sighs, "Lovely. Okay Plan B. Libby Scan for the Battery." Immediately the ring begins scanning the building.

Ultragirl has posed:
A blink as the man starts screaming and she watche shim a moment before she suddenly is moving at high speed again. She's not the fastest thing by any stretch but she can out run a porche so she ends up at the door long before the man and puts on that smile again, "Hey, can you perhaps stop and hold up." She gestures out with a hand, "We have some questions and I'm sure you can help. How about it?" She asks and tilts her head, even going so far as to catch him with a hand if he keeps trying the situation.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
"Obviously this isn't going anywhere. Your battery is going to be where the suppliers are." Robin looks at each of the users here. "And I doubt they are coherent enough to tell you where they are."

Amarok has posed:
The ring scans and easily finds the battery. It's almost as the exact center of the building, right here on the third floor, indeed, it's just a few rooms away. And that's when the door is opened, "Franky, if this is nothin again, I swear t-" And then the goon walking in notices he's staring at superheroes. Insert a few panicked explitives of your choice here, and he immediately starts unloading on the doorblocker that is Tsu-Zana with an AK. How quaint. Needless to say, the sobered up crackhead is still screaming, and pathetically failing at running away from the heroes and their DYNAMIC ENTRY! style of incursion.

Star Shimmer has posed:
"Battery Located!" Immediately the ring projects the location of the battery.

"Got it. So... In there." Autumn gestures to closed off rooms. "I would suggest not breaking down walls. This place seems pretty unstable." With that the Star Sapphire is on the move. Just in time for someone to pop out with a freaking Kalashnakov.

Autumn winces. She doesn't know just how bullet proof Ultragirl is, Or how much protection Robin's suit gives him. With little warning her ring ignites and both Ultragirl and Robin would find themselves wrapped in Violet light. First, It would feel kinda nice. Like a loving embrace. Second, any bullets that hit it bounce off. "He's all yours!"

Ultragirl has posed:
Blinking, Ultragirl whips both her arms up in a X before her only to be surrounded by some kind of light. She blinks and states, "Well, thanks. Not necessary but they still hurt so I appreciate it." She then looks forward, "As for you." She whips her hand out and basically just tries to grab the gun away and then she snaps it in half. She idly shakes her head, "Gonna suggest you give up." She nods her head and smiles a little, "It'd be in your best interest." She then doesn't really give him much of an option beyond that she snags him by the shirt, pulls him close for a second and then tosses him to teh side and back, "Might want to tie him up. Now, where is that battery?" She starts forward, "Hello, ultra quick second of your time needed. You guys stole something and we want it back. I can't say you aren't going to jail but I'll be glad to put in a good word for you if you surrender so we can get this done fast."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Robin shudders some at the light now enveloping him. This kind of thing was foreign to him.

Damian slaps a set of zip ties on the gunner. "I suggest you shut the hell up or I'll stomp a new hole in your sternum." He says, looking down at the thug. Stepping forward to behind Ultragirl, Robin clasps his fist in his hand, just showing how much they mean business, even if Ultragirl doesn't threaten, he does as much as he can to impose.

Amarok has posed:
The goon completely unloads his entire clip in a random spray, shooting Mr. Screamy six seperate times in the process, who just drops like a sack in corner, shudder and wheezing, with the bullets richocheting every which way. When the AK starts to click and is wrenched out of his hands, the sounds beyond the room start up, lots of yelling and running. The guy struggles against Tsu's grip, but is a generic thug, so he doesn't exactly pose her...well...ANY challange, and when he lands on his face, it takes him a second before he can struggle to look up at Robin, "Uhhh....I surrender?" Luckily for him, Damian is apparently in a merciful mood and simply cuffs him, rather than cuffing AND beating him. Batman's really been a positive influence on him! As Tsu goes into the hall, to her left, a bunch of guys are stomping down the stares, lots more guns ready, and all in obvious chemical work attire. When they see her, they all start shouting various things that get immediately lost in the shuffle, and start firing. Good thing drug dealer guns aren't particularly potent.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn keeps her fields up around both Ultragirl and Damian. She follows along keeping a close watch on everything. "Okay Battery is located just in this general area! One of the rooms on this floor." Quietly she continues along just keeping a close watch out.

"20% Charge remaining, Nightingale."

Ultragirl has posed:
A smile back and Ultragirl nods to Autumn, "I got it but really don't waste any more power that you might need." She nods her head and then looks up the stairs as she raises a hand, "Gentlemen...well, men anyway." She winces at the guns, "Really?" She asks and then she rushes up the stairs at them. Each man has his gun yanked and crushed one after the other before she'll say, "I'm really quite new to all this so I don't want to hurt you guys too much." She nods her head, "So how about I let him handle it?" She points back toward Damian once she's disarmed the men.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian approaches slowly, a menacing grin on his face. A grab at his utility belt takes out two red Birdarangs, their edges sharpened to a keen blade and tucked into his fist like claws. He points to the closest one. "You." He says, still approaching. "I think I'll start with your teeth, then if you're still feeling shy...your eye."

Theatrics are a wonderful thing, with as much of a reputation as Batman and Robin have amongst the really true lowlifes of Gotham, peons usually hear a magnified version, full of telephoned details that never happened. Robin's ploy usually works on these sad saps.

Amarok has posed:
The goons react in the usual panic from being so hopelessly ineffective with a barrage of bullets. Several begin running back up stairs, almost all of them shout incoherently, and several more try the standard idiot goon strategy of 'git em' and start taking swings at Tsu, one pulling a knife out and looking just oh so pleased with himself for thinking of it.

Meanwhile, down the other side of the hall, a door opens, someone peeks out, screams, and quickly slams it shut. Unfortunately for them, that door is in the direction of the battery.

One of the goons sees Damian and shouts, "Batman's not here ta save ya this time, Robin!" And does what every dumb goon before him did after saying that, charging right at him for a tackle...Totally ignoring Tsu, who he has to run past to get to Damian....This is just sad.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn watches as the thugs change tactics. She lets her fields drop and then, oh look! The door opens and someone nopes the other way. "I'm going for my Battery." With that she points her ring at the door and with a flash of violet, blows the door clean off the hinges. "Where is the purple glowey lantern? I would really like that back."

!Quickly she gets ready to fight. She's getting closer and she can feel it now. The need to recharge is really starting to hit her.

Ultragirl has posed:
A blink and Suzy just stares, "Umm, are you really pulling a knife?" She asks and then she chuckles, "Allow me to help you with that." She actually more or less ignores the guy who swings at her. That poor man is probably gonna break his hand. She instead is reaching out with a blur of motion. To her, this is normal speed. To everyone else this is happening in a blur. She simply reaches out and wraps her hand around the sharp end of the knife and squeezes. She can feel the knife like silly putty in her hand simply squish. She releases it and then nods, "There, that should be far less dangerous now." She then considers, "Oh and in case you get any other ideas." She attempts to grab him by the shirt and toss him gently into the guy who tried to hit her, "You two should stay down."

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Since the guy thought he could really run through Robin, he jumps, high enough to kick the guy on the jaw, and flip backwards to land on his feet. "Hey, asshole. Batman doesn't save me, I hold my own. Now, just remember you could have surrendered and saved you from getting your jaw wired shut."

Amarok has posed:
The room Autumn bursts into is....not a pleasant sight. The one who doubtlessly screamed is already slamming the door at the other end of the room behind him, but that's not the most noteworthy thing. The noteworthy thing would be the cages. Cages all around the room, filled with naked women in various states of malnourishment, most of them visibly drug addled, and the ones that aren't, to weak to do much more than lift their heads to see who their presumed latest tormenter is....And now that you're nice and depressed/disgusted, MEANWHILE!

The guys punching at Tsu are...well, normal dudes, largely incapable of even basic annoyance to her, each one shaking their hands out after each hit and whining about life not being fair. The one who's knife has just been deflated looks at it, then up at Tsu, "...I hate dis city." he says before being turned into a human projectile, crashing through his esteemed collegue, meth cooker number three.

Meanwhiler, the guy who honestly thought trying to tackle one half of Gotham's Dynamic Duo was the SMRTest plan EVAR gets deservedly kicked in the face, being flipped back through the air, landing one his already broken face, and flopping the rest of him down into still and sweet unconciousness on the floor.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn gets a very clear sight of one of the worst possible sights to her. "Okay, Don't come in here without extra clothes! Robin that goes double for you!" She states and sighs. "Listen. I'm going to get you all out of here. We will get you taken care of. Just trust me for now.

The love in her heart for these poor women is overwhelming. Its pushing past her sense of self preservation. Her attention goes to the weasely guy who has vacated the area. "Dammit! We're going to need blankets ASAP!"

"Nightingale, the Star Sapphire battery is in this room." Libby's voice rings out and directions are given. Quickly she follows them and on the right side of the door where she entered, under a desk, in the floor boards A glowing, Violet lantern battery. Attached to it is a Titans communicator and a similar note to before reading, 'Call me.'

"Sure thing. Just as soon as I do this." She takes a deep breath. "Libby make sure I don't lose control..." Closing her eyes, she presses her ring against the battery. "For Hearts long lost and full of fright, for those alone in blackest night. Accept our ring and join our fight, Love conquers all with Violet Light!" As she speaks the words of the Star Sapphire oath, Her ring is rapidly charged. Her own love is amplified. The dimly lit room is quickly ignited in Violet Light and becomes blinding for a few moments. The mostly naked women may be partially blind after that. At least temporarily.

If this isn't enough, suddenly several different guitar constructs form and start playing mariachi music. "Its Time to dance. You jerks who did this? Come and get some!"

Ultragirl has posed:
A grin and Suzy turns to look at Damian, "Well done." She states and then walks back from the landing to the hallway, "What was that?" She calls out and then starts into the room, "Lots of people in here. I wonder what..." She stops at the door and stares. She stares for a long moment, her breath coming to a halt as she just stares at the sight. Her eyes go over the various women, basically an atrocity in each. Then the violet light comes. SHe looks in the direction of that room and with a blur of speed she is in that room.

"Who was responsible...for this...?" She asks no one in particular but her eyes scan the room. There's no grin. No frown. Just eyes staring from one spot to the next. Before they can answer though her foot grinds the floor and she says more firmly, more loudly, "Who?!" And the board on her right foot creaks and cracks a little.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Damian, not one to be given orders, defies Nightingale's command. "I'll have you know, I am NOT your..." He trails off, doing an about face and quickly pulling up his gauntlet computer. "GCPD and EMS are en route."

He does something he's never done before, removing his hooded cape and shoving it at Nightingale. "Use it for now. I'll get it back." He doesn't say anything else right now, nothing needs to be said.

Amarok has posed:
The door explodes open as a series of quick shotgun blasts rip it off the hinges, the weak and blinded women still in their right senses struggling to shield themselves in their confinements as best they can from flechettes and exploded wood. Eight guys quickly run in the room, two with shotguns, the ones who obviously blew the door down, and the rest with pipes, bats, knives, and one guy with a lamp....Yes, really.

When Tsu bursts in and starts going psycho on em, one of them, not the guy with the lamp, says, "Hey uh, I just work here and uh....W-What's that ma? Oh, sorry guys, my ma's callin me!" He then drops his weapon of choice and starts trying to run away, much to the annoyance and complaints of the others....And just in case it wasn't face slappingly obvious, no, his mother was most definitely not calling him.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn smirks, "Thanks Robin." She turns to the ladies in the cages. Rapid firing, she blasts the locks off the little cages letting them open. "Okay ladies, out of there. Huddle up for now and cover up with this for now." She hands over the cloak.

Her attention shifts rapidly to the inbound thugs. Her ring ignites and glows brilliantly, "Ya know, some people think being a lover or a fighter is mutually exclusive. They aren't. In fact, I love these people that you have caged here so much, that I'm going to kick your asses over how you've treated them." She winds up and a nice big punching glove construct forms around her hand as she lays into a few.

Ultragirl has posed:
"None of you deserve kindness." She looks to the man playing the run away game, "I cannot believe you would even..." She shakes her head and looks at her clenched fist. She stares at it a moment before looking to one of the men with a gun, one that Autumn isn't punching, "You really don't deserve this." She then opens her hand up so it is ready to slap...and then she appears before him moving with that speed and agility she gained. There's a rustle of wind with it and the her hand whips out with insane speed. The sound of the slap is like a car door slamming and then she's by the man who is 'being called by ma' and another sound of wind.

She appears to be a slapping machine as she moves on to a third and yet another slap. It'd be like getting hit by a leather belt moving at high speed. Not lethal but it cannot possibly feel good.

Robin (Wayne) has posed:
Robin stretches his neck, popping a few joints before he throws blunt batarangs all around, they'll hurt. But that was not the main course, Damian's gauntlet raises up a small tube and the boy starts firing multiple PEPS rounds at the assailants, or rather, any that stay standing after the others are done with them.

Amarok has posed:
None of the ladies move, most of them are completely strung out and clearly have no idea what's going on or where they are, and the ones that aren't are to weak to move on their own, the nearest one feebly trying to reach out for the cape, only to collapse almost immediately from the exhaustion. The goons trying to fight Nightingale are quickly and easily beaten down, most of them screaming in terror and confusion at the magic purple boxing glove wrecking their shit.

The guys being slapped about like Freeza in the last two minutes each go down with only one slap, mostly cuz they're whapped hard enough to send them a full spin, the guy with the shotgun narrowly missing blowing the top half of the guy next to him off as he goes, only saved by the slap of punishment from Ultragirl swatting him out of the way.

The guy with the lamp jumps slightly when Damian whips the batarangs out, narrowly blocking the blunted blade with his trusty lamp. He stops to look in amazement at his good fortune, glancing up just in time to catch projectile electricity to the face, tossing his lamp up as he drops, it smashing on his face a few moments later before the guy to his side drops on top of him. And the room is clear, but more shuffling can be heard upstairs and below. Before the group can react further though, the bullhorn lights up outside, "This is police! Come out with your hands up!"

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn continues pummeling the thugs she sees. It annoys the hell out of her that they did this. Its her love for humanity that preventsh er from killing them for this. Finally she stops as the sound of GPD outside becomes clear.

Her attention shifts to Robin and Ultragirl, "Umm should we talk to the cops? I mean, I don't wanna annoy Batman due to going full Sapphire in this city."

Ultragirl has posed:
A look over at Damian a moment and Ultragirl shakes her head a little before she looks out the window. She hears the cops and looks then to Damian before saying, "What is it...well, how are things handled here. I wasn't supposed to be over this city tonight. I just found myself here." She then shakes her head looking back at the men on the ground.

Star Shimmer has posed:
"Robin?" Autumn turns to look at the boy wonder and... he's gone. She facepalms. "Someday, I am going to learn how to do that." She look to Ultragirl, "Alright, The police will come in soon and clean things up. We don't need to be here. We are a lot more powerful than the usuals of the area and I'd rather not upset Batman. This is his territory. Besides... there was something weird on my battery. Lets get back to the roof tops."

Ultragirl has posed:
A look over at Autumn and she sighs before nodding her head, "Honestly, I'm just going home." SHe nods her head, "I'm not really in a great mood to talk right now. To anyone." She floats quicklky out a window and then looks back, "Until next time." SHe nods her head and then looks to the side and she takes off fast back toward NYC.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn nods and gives a little salute. Quickly she makes her own way out of the roof tops. Once clear of any suspicion, She gets comfortable and looks at the note. Taking the Titan's comm, she puts it to her ear and speaks, "Ummm, Hello?"

Amarok has posed:
The communicator makes no noise of any kind. It appears to be turned off....But there are no visible means of turning it on.

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn just sighs. Quickly she launches herself into space where she just gets comfortable for the evening. "I have a distinct desire to hit the person who stole my battery!" She gripes as she gets comfy on an unsuspecting satellite and takes a nap.
