Star Shimmer has posed:
Its been hours since the events in Old Gotham. Night has since fallen and Autumn is actually unscathed from the situation that took place. Not for lack of the enemies trying though. She does happen to have her trophy from the day. A lovely lilac colored dress. It would definitely work well for job hunting.

Quietly Autumn makes her way into the kitchen. She is half walking half limping and only using one crutch. This is a bit odd because, She was shot a week ago. She should not be moving around like this. Idly she starts making some box mac and cheese.

Batman has posed:
While handling another issue in the Narrows last night, Alfred informed Bruce about the pending attempt on Autumn's life. He has been keeping his distance from the girl as she experiences the growing pains of Gotham City and what it could mean to become the Batwoman. However, Killer Frost might be a bit much for her handle and has decided to check in on her. As he silence makes his way into her apartment from one of the windows he is able to unlock without a sound, as she walks into the kitchen he makes his way down the hallway.

A soft gruff voice comes from behind her in greeting, "How are you feeling?"

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn blinks and turns around. "Oh, Hey Batman. I'm alright. Just had an eventful day. Turns out the mobs finally pissed at me. Going to have to deal with them soonish i think. Still... Who the heck was that woman? I've never seen her before. Hell I've never heard of her before. Also I don't know why I'm able to walk a little more already. I'm going to have to take off the bandages and have a look I think. Its nuts. I was just making dinner." Yeah she's a little broke as she's largely unable to go out and busk like she normally would. "Also... I think I used the ring..."

Batman has posed:
As he listens for a moment he side steps the woman to allow her ease of access to make her food. His cape swirling around him in an almost unnatural way folding his hands behind his back. "Dr. Lousie Lincoln aka Killer Frost. A strong thermokinetic with a nasty temper." He cocks his head looking her up and down before saying, "From what I know of the rings, they each have their own qualities and attritubes. One of them might be advanced healing." As he presses his lips to a fine line, "Star Sapphire is not someone I trust, and I want you to be wary of her until further notice. I will speak to a Green Lantern and see if I can have him come and see you as my knowledge of the rings are limited."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn nods, "I've gathered that. She only explained a little about it. The rest I sorta found out on my own so far. Like I found out how to umm turn it on? If thats what its called? Earlier I spoke up to get Killer Frost to stop hurting civilians. I just love people ya know. It started glowing and then so did I. Some of the thugs that were with her shot me several times and I didn't feel a thing. I ran off and hid. When I actually focused on the love in my heart, My clothing changed to something like Star Sapphire's. It's weird."

Batman has posed:
"Interesting. I do know that the Green Rings tend to work on willpower, whereas the Yellow Rings on fear, and the Red rings on rage. Perhaps your rings are made to work on love." As his eyes narrow behind his mask just slightly, "Which can be dangerous in of itself. They say...Love can cloud the mind and being able to hurl that kind of power when you are not thinking clearly is deadly." He shrugs slightly as if not concerned, "Especially when you can blast light constructs through buildings." He turns with a florish of his cape and steps back into the door way of the hallway before stopping, "Anything else I should know? Do you feel safe here to remain?"

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn nods, "I understand that. I haven't tried doing any constructs yet. I dunno. I think maybe it's affecting me though. When I looked at Killer Frost, I could feel how little love was in her heart. I think I pissed her off pretty bad." Then there is the question of the hour. "I'm not the greatest of fighters even when I am not wounded. The mob wants me out of Gotham. I don't want to go but... It may be for the best. I dunno where I'd go though."

Batman has posed:
As he gives her a side glance, even with his brooding temper the ring if you are wearing it would show that Batman has good in his heart. A tainted good but good nevertheless. He turns to face her fully as he says gruffly, "There will always be some mob wanting to harm you if you stay in his line of work Autumn. It is not an easy choice and if you are questioning yourself and your abilities maybe it is best you return the ring and move to a remote island."

He allows that a beat to settle in before adding, "Yet, if you want to make a a difference, willing to put in the work and believe in your purpose: those mobs will find something else to rail against...in time. You must decide that in the end. I can not."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn looks at Batman. Yes she can sense that. She can sense love for the city in him. ITs a strange feeling to pick up on that sort of thing. "I've only been actively training for about a week. I'm not up to snuff. I do not want to leave this place. It wouldn't be so bad if they were after Nightingale but they aren't, They are after Autumn!" She pauses and thinks.

I have an idea. I think, as soon as I heal up a little bit more, I am going to pay them a little visit. They are going to back off me if they like it or not." She smiles a little.

"I have a feeling that Killer Frost will be back... when she's out of triage. The hulk sorta chucked a chunk of building at her."

Batman has posed:
As he nods slowly, "I like the attitude. However, why don't you rest up fully. I have asked a friend of mine to have a security system set on the building, and your apartment. The windows will be bullet proof, and the door will be three inch reinforced steel." He touches his utility belt and a thin vial looking contraption falls into his fingers. He holds out his gloved hand, "This is a panic button. Keep it on your person at all time. If you are in fact taken, press it. I or an ally of mine will come as soon as we can." He holds up a finger adding in a stern voice, "ONLY if you are in trouble." He turns with a florish and gives her a side glance over his shoulder, "I am not a pizza delivery service."

Star Shimmer has posed:
Autumn laughs, "Okay." She reaches into her pocket and pulls out another panic button. "Batwoman gave me one too. She's training me after all. Thank you though. Can't be too safe." She accepts the other panic button and slips it in her pocket. "I have only pressed a panic button once and that was after I got shot while you were in prison." She sighs. "Well I think once my dinner is done I might try using the ring a little. Just to see if I can learn anything new." She grabs her cheap mac and cheese and quickly takes it to her table. "Thank you Batman. I'm going to do my best. No matter what happens, I'm not giving up. I may not be able to do what you do but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop. I love people too damn much."

Batman has posed:
As he can't help but smirk softly. Kate is doing better then he had hoped for, yet he sets his button on the counter next to him, "Than leave it here as a back up. Expect the work crews to be here by 7am." As he turns his cape bellowing out behind him, he walks silently down the hall and exits the same way he came into the woman's apartment.

As he leaps out of the window and glides into the Bat-Mobile he calls Alfred, "Alfread lets but Autumn's building under one of the shells, and I want all of the security upgraded, especially her apartment."

"Right away Master Bruce." the elegant man says before turning off the link. Batman looks up at the building and hmmms before he drives off into the night once again.
