Punisher has posed:
New York. The city that never sleeps. It's just past the afternoon, and the air is quiet for now. With the occasional Sentinel passing overhead, it's easy to be lulled into thinking that it'd stay that way.

Near the corner of Cortelyou and 16th though, is Cafe Madeline.

*BOOM*

Or rather, what's left of it after that explosion from the inside.

The civilians on the streets start to panic and run as the shattered windows scatter to the pavement outside. That was an explosion from the inside, going out, and there are a few dead bodies visible from the outside already.

Michelangelo has posed:
"And I was like, I'm gonna put this twinkie on this pizza and I'm gonna call it twizza." Mikey says to his brother while preforming another kickflip as he half-pipes back and forth in the sewer a little less than a block away from the cafe in question. "April was like, Mikey, you're gonna be sick.. but I just want to point out that I did not get sick. I also dipped it in this pink stuff she gave me.. pepperdojo or something, I don't know, it tasted like chalk though." Yeeeer weeep, another kick flip.

Then there's an explosion that has dust particles raining down upon Mikey as he pulls up short and kicks his board into his out stretched hand, "What the heck was that?" Eyeing his brother, then the light coming in through one of the storm drains. "Should...should we go look?"

Donatello has posed:
Donatello follows behind, rolling his eyes behind his head. "Pepto-bismol. It's a solution of bismuth and pepsin designed to alleviate..." He already anticipates a look from Mikey. "It makes your tummy better and it's why you didn't get sick."

The explosion from above gives Donnie pause just like his brother. "Sounded like an explosion on the surface." Donnie decides to climb up the gutter to peek and see what's going on up there.

Punisher has posed:
Civilians running is what Donatello sees at first, then the embers of fire from burning material thrown out into the street. All in all it's chaos... and to add to it, the sounds of gunfire can be heard from that Cafe, along with the sounds of pained screaming. There's a gunfight going on inside.

Michelangelo has posed:
The flat stare and jaw hanging look comes as expected when Donnie says all those smart words. Mikey blinks a few times and drags his hand across the drool hanging from the corner of his mouth, "Why didn't you just say that. Imma call it twizza sauce." He jumps up to grab hold of the gutters edge and pull himself into position to look out the little slit beside Donnie. "Move over, I wanna see too." Nudging elbow against the corner of Donnie's shell.

"Dude.." Mikey reverses his grip and kicks his feet up at the manhole cover so he can roll out into the alleyway, "We have to do something, Donnie. We can't just let people get hurt.." Probably scare the civilians more than anything. The impulsive brother is waiting for Donnie, all the same.

Donatello has posed:
Donnie had been watching in amazement at the spectacle going on, then was shoved aside by Mikey. "Hey, what the shell?" As he scoots to the side and lets Mikey take a look. "Yeah, just..." He comments, following the Party Dude, taking a page from Leo's playbook. "Get the injured to safety."

Punisher has posed:
Once topside, the two Turtles will see there are actually no civilians that need saving. Whoever exploded the cafe seems to know what they're doing well enough to avoid collateral injuries outside, at least.

"GET SOME!" A shout can be heard from inside, followed by a burst of gunfire. More pistols, more... some sort of automatic weapon. Then silence.

Whatever is going in in there, it's still happening, and from the street the burning wreck that was the front of the cafe is easily looked into. The entire scene is a mangled bloody mess of six bodies, two of which were behind the main counter. The tables and chairs are so much debris, now.

Michelangelo has posed:
Civilians are running away from the scene and Mikey is just sort of kneeling there waiting for Donnie to join him topside. This is, after all, one of his first times above ground before the sun set and it's all a little new. "Hey! Does anybody need medical at-" Raising a finger and turning with a dude running past in a business suit, "I'm here to help get people to saf-" To a lady in heels screaming away from the scene of the explosion.

Mikey looks to Donnie with a big shrug and both open hands pointed at the destroyed front of the Cafe. His hands fall down to the nunchuks on his belt and pulls them as he rolls up behind a car with his shell pressing against the back passanger side door, "Sounds like Call of Honor in there, dude." Quietly to his brother, "I feel like we should do something, right?"

Donatello has posed:
Donnie himself doesn't so much talk as he does notice the people running from the scene. His eyes lower in questioning this tactic. "Something doesn't feel right here."

The purple bandanna'd turtle takes his bo staff from his belt/Sam Brown combo, twirling it and getting ready. "It's too bright for much stealth, don't get shot." He comments, jumping to get inside and fight whoever is the good guy in the cafe.

Punisher has posed:
The inside is a display of carnage beyond the back door. Bullet holes riddle the corridor into the kitchen and other rooms, and bodies are dotted here and there in the bright white lighting. Unlike the front, these bodies are still mostly intact... except for the head and body shots. Large bullets have left large holes in a couple heads, and each body has blood pooled around it; these were the first to go, with the bleed out.

Further in is yet more bodies. The kitchen itself is a gigantic mess of pots, pans, and utensils thrown all about, with bullet holes all over the place. People were trying to use them as makeshift armor probably, and failing. One body still has a large pot in front of it with a large hole where the bullet went through.

In the back though storage room though, there's one person still alive, and the Turtles can see in the dim light a man with a crew cut from behind. Wearing a black trenchcoat, it's impossible to make anything out of his front... but the Turtles can clearly see the revolver aimed directly at the forehead of a kneeling caucasian man in a business suit, his hands behind his back. They're having a low conversation, with the kneeling man clearly scared out of his mind.

Having a giant revolver pointed at your brain tends to do that.

Michelangelo has posed:
Mikey mocks silently, don't get shot as he rolls out from behind the car and low runs into the scene of carnage beyond the destroyed exterior wall of the cafe. If that weren't horrible enough, however, the bodies strown all over with bullets to their foreheads and the pooling blood has drained all the humor out of even the leviteous of turtle brothers. "what. the. shell.." Each word is mouthed to Donnie as he side steps through the cafe on quiet, leather wrapped feet. Each step carefully chosen to prevent stepping on anything or into anyone.

Once they reach the back storage room, Mikey presses his back to the wall on the right side of the open doorway and double glances inside, then over at Donnie with a twisted expression. "what now?" Quietly mouthed.

Donatello has posed:
Donatello follows next to his brother, stepping carefully to be as silent as possible. This was stuff he'd only seen in horror movies, or 80's action movies. "I got something." He mouths, pulling out a small gameboy, fashioned into a directional microphone, a vegetable steamer on the end blossoms into a dish as the parabolic microphone listens in. Donnie shares an earbud with Mikey, the other is put to his own ear to listen on.

Punisher has posed:
"I didn't ask where your fucking pets were. I asked you where your boss was." Punisher grates to the man in a low seething voice. He's going for intimidation factor here, and the man knows his number is up if Punisher doesn't like his answers. "Your bodyguards are currently occupying the walls in the kitchen. I don't want them. I don't even want you. I want the asshole you work for."

The man practically squeaks out, "I don't know, honest! He knows you're coming for him, and is doing dead drops to communicate with the rest of us lately!"

The Punisher leans in, keeping his eyes level on the mans. A moment passes, before he passes a phone to the man with his free hand from under his trenchcoat, "text me with his next drop location soon as you get it. If I don't get anything in a week." He leans in and grates out, "I'm comin' back for you."

A pistol whip later, and the man is knocked out on the ground.

"What a shitshow." Punisher mutters as he starts to head to the back exit.

Michelangelo has posed:
"Is this my gameboy?!" Mikey mouths with his big blue eyes widening when he sees the device, but puts the earbud in when given it. The course of conversation has the youngest turtles mouth hanging open and periodically glancing back at the open doorway with a shocked kind of expression at how action hero awesome Punisher sounds. Even, at one point, thumbing at the wall with a punk rock sneer for Donnie, "Duuuuuuuude" The mouth word drawn out until it's almost just oh facing.

"Should we stop him?" He says in a three finger style sign language, curling his thumb at the doorway with question inherent.

Donatello has posed:
Donatello gives Michelangelo the 'Really, right now you ask me this?' face. Before the conversation turns to Punisher and his latest quarry.

Donnie flails his hands for a second, attempting a short facepalm. "Too bright." He answers back in sign. "It doesn't seem like this guy is the bad one. Dead drops, scaring the underlings, he's after the big bad." He whispers. "We need to take this back to Leo and Raph, we join in and help, it has to be the team."

Punisher has posed:
Coming near the exit, Punisher puts the revolver into a gear web holster on his belt, then promptly replaces it with a short-barrel shotgun from under the trenchcoat. He gives a low whistle, and plants himself against the wall, waiting for potential targets.

When none show themselves, he turns to go through the door, breaching commando style with the stock shouldered, and heads out into the alleyway, one opposite from where the two Turtles came out from.

It's bright... but it's still an alleyway with the civilians gone. There's a good chance they can at least watch Punisher leave if they're quick.

Michelangelo has posed:
Mikey flails silently when Donnie refuses to answer whether or not that use to be his gameboy, then bobs his head at the suggestion of taking what they've learned back to Raph and Leo. He holds up his pinky finger and thumb, then slips around the doorway once the dark trenchcoated vigilante has exited into the alleyway with the same side stepping as they entered the cafe though with the abit more alactrity so as not to let the figure disappear around the corner before he's peeking out to see where he goes.

Mikey points out the doorway, juts his chin at Donnie, and then kneels down beside the dude Punisher pistol whipped to search him for identification. Wallet, ID, green and/or library card. A cellphone would be the best! Like the one Punisher gave over? Whatever, Mikey holds it up a Donnie questioningly? Shrugging a shoulder.

Donatello has posed:
Donatello makes a break for it with Mikey, taking a look at the phone that was slipped to the guy, and quickly making some observations, specifically looking to copy the home number so he can tap the texts and calls. If the guy texts Frank, Donnie should be able to see the message.

"Okay Mikey, lets go." He says, once they've done enough recon on this guy.

Punisher has posed:
The man is Michael Richardo. He has a mastercard and discover credit card along with a picture of an older woman; presumably his mother, since he looks like he's late 20s and the woman is about in her 50s. He has a locked flip phone alongside the smartphone Punisher gave him, and has about 58 dollars in his wallet.

The phone Punisher gave the man is an obvious burner with one number on it that Donatello easily copies. He can put a trace on it, possibly.

Out in the alleyway, a custom looking van backs up into the alleyway, and the Punisher opens up the back and steps inside. The glance into the back makes it /very/ clear the inside is some sort of state-of-the-art tech center and armory, with the sheer amount of ordinance that can be seen along one of the walls of the van. Soon though, the doors auto-close, and the van starts to leave, turning right.

Michelangelo has posed:
Mikey doesn't take anything, though he was tempted to boost the fifty for pizzas later and replaces everything exactly as it was before he started digging through Michael's pockets. Donnie says it's time to go and Mikey bobs his head, pointing to a sewer grate in the alley after glancing several times to make certain the coast is clear and the black van has veered off.

Out in the alley his weapons are pushed into little hoops on his belt so he can hoist the sewer grate and drop down easily into a roll at the bottom. "What the heck was that?! That dude went John McClain on EVERYONE in there, dude!" Once Donnie has joined him.

Donatello has posed:
Donnie attempts to use his T-phone to place a trace on it. Though, he knew there had to be a booby-trap of some sort. A guy like that had to have some sort of tech guy. He decides to leave a little Easter egg for that person, deep in some code. "We can help you." Then an IP address is left, allowing communication directly to Donnie's secured phone.

Once the purple turtle is out, he agrees with Mikey. "Dude, that was AWESOME, but scary. Like one man army, I wouldn't wanna mess with him."
