Smart Alek has posed:
Alek is currently spacing by some TVs, they flicker between channels like a light bulb. "So many channels.. and nothing good on."

Pippi has posed:
    A late spring evening, as the sun goes down on the city casting the buildings' long shadows across the area, there is a figure on the rooftops, hopping along and looking somewhat confused. The red and white canine gives a huff, looking out over an unfamiliar stretch of cityscape.

    "Pex is gonna be mad..." she mutters, and theng lances down. She spots Alek down below, and her lips purse. Her head tilts, one ear rising up, and she drops down a level to watch the buzz-cut bearing guy a little closer.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek sniffs the air a bit, a strange glow of lights appears nearby him in his mind.. "Wow, wierd colors." The TVs turn off as he just sort of slowly spins around a bit, looking around for something or someone, he kinda waves his hands slightly.. A few people wandering by don't pay him attention, strange people in mutant town is just the norm here.

Pippi has posed:
    Strange people and strange times. The canine tilts her head a moment, and continues to watch as Alek turns, the TV's turning off and the high pitched whine Pippi can hear lessens. She stays up on an overhang, careful to keep the majority of her body hidden. Just a doggo, nothing unusual here. The people walking by don't seem to pay him any mind, so Pippi sniffs the air, trying to sort out which scent was his.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek speaks to noone it seems, "Sorry, just saw the interesting patterns of what binds you. It's very different, and beautiful." he nods to noone.. kinda like a blind person talking to someone he can't see. He eventually sighs, "Maybe you can't even hear me." He looks back towards the TVs but they have lost his interest, one thing that should be mentioned that his eyes glow an unnatural blue, kinda like those annoying lights on electronic products.

Pippi has posed:
    Pippi is supposed to keep her head down, to stay silent, a quiet observer, practicing the skills her friend is teaching her -- but she's also very much a people person. Her head tilts, seeing Alek's eyes glow, and she quietly asks from her vantage point:

    "Who can't hear you?"

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek is indeed not sensing something miles away.. the last time, he was talking to a blood stain for an hour... "Ooh you are there." He looks over in the direction the voice came from, "Umm, Hi." he gives a wave, "I enjoy meeting new people, especially ones which are so unique. You do know your unique right? I mean.. not seen this arrangement of DNA before."

Pippi has posed:
    Pippi ducks her head back behind the overhang as Alek looks up, where she's kind of hanging out on the solid overhang over an electronics shop. She gives a little smile then, and adds in a little wave of her own back down to him.

"As... as far as I know I am? What's a Dee-En-Ahy?" she asks in a quiet voice. "You have neat eyes!"

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek says, "I used to call them the four legos.. they are in everything that's living. They are god's tinker toys as my science teacher used to say." he chuckles, "Course, he can't sense like or remember them I can.. I think they more like ink that makes the pictures... ooh yea...they eyes, they scare some people, makes me look different..""

Pippi has posed:
    "I think I know what legos are..." Pippi replies thoughtfully, and she rolls to her back stretching her legs for a moment before she hops up to a crouch, turning back to Alek.

    "But you're not scared of me, and I'm different." Pippi replies, her tail wagging. "What's your name?"

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek says, "Alek, and yours? We seem to be both unique yep." his body language and eyes seem to dance about a bit, he kinda looks like a kid on too much sugar.. "You always walk on the buildings? That is what you were doing right?""

Pippi has posed:
    "Pippi." The canine replies, her tail giving another wag. "And I... ah... I scare people sometimes, I think. There's people who'd want to hurt me." she explains quietly, glancing around the street, making sure that she's not attracting attention from her vantage point.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek shrugs, "Everyone has a different collection of colors, just some are a little more interesting then others. People are boring in what they want to see other people looking like. So... you live around here? You need anything... " he pokes through his pockets a bit.

Pippi has posed:
    "Oh, no, I'm kinda lost. I don't get out much." Pippi replies to Alek, and her tail pauses in its wagging. "So when you look at me, you see a bunch of different colors? To me, everyone smells different. Like, my friend Pex smells different than her friend Garret, who smells different than you." she replies. She takes a deep breath. "LIke right now, someone is cooking spagehtti and meatballs nearby, and someone else has ham on a pizza, but it's not real ham it's kinda chinkeny ham?"

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek nods, "Well, smells are... only little bits of things, I usually don't notice them as much as things I can touch, I can remember their arrangements.. I can copy video games too.. kinda useful." he chuckles.

Pippi has posed:
    "I like smells. You can tell a lot about a person by the way they smell, sometimes you can even tell if they're nervous." Pippi replies, and she gives a bit of a smile. "What's a video game? Is it something fun?"

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek nods, "yeah they are kinda like stories you can interact with.. on computers and tvs. You've not played video games before?"

Pippi has posed:
    Pippi shakes her head. "Nah-uh. I didn't used to have thumbs, and televisions never held interest for me." she admits, and then hops up. She turns her nose to the wind, and takes a deeeep breath.

    "... I think I oughta go. My friend's probably worried that I didn't check in -- are you going to be okay by yourself, Alek?" she questions, her ears rising up.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek nods, "No worries..." he taps the side of his head, "Got maps of the city for since it was New Amsterdam.. I may look lost but. well, just following the various lines. You go.. hope we meet again." he smiles, "I'll buy ya some lunch next time maybe?"

Pippi has posed:
    Pippi's tail gives a wag at the idea of lunch. "No promises." she states, and she clammers back up the side of the building to the roof, and then takes off, leaping across an alleyway as she waves back to Alek, trips on the eldge, tumbles... gets back up and keeps going, heading off down the street and away from the curious young man with the bright eyes.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek watches the mutant go.. he gives a wave.. and begins to wander along the sidewalk. "If only I could jump rooftops, that would be cool."
