Synopsis: People learned of many things.
Cast of Characters: Tyran'tar, Grail, Mon-El

Tyran'tar has posed:
It is time once again for the intergalactic weapon festival! This festival happens every so often on Knowhere, where merchants and armies can meet to show off their tech and skill. Here to represent Tamaran was Tyran'tar, holding a pulse rifle. He is dressed in a military uniform and he looks to the various other aliens trying to get people to buy their wares. Tyran'tar is no exception and was talking to someone about how Tamaranean technology is superior to most tech.

Grail has posed:
Walking casually through the marketplace, she is once more wearing her cloak, slipping through the crowd to look at the various weapons. Mostly, she is unimpressed. However, the spot where Tryan'tar is piques her interest. She approaches him and pushes back her hood just enough to reveal her face and smirks at him, "Oh? Green Lantern and weapons dealer? Fascinating." She chuckles and nods her haed as she looks over the available tech from Tamaran. She looks up at him and the weapon he is holding before shaking her head, "Is it really all that impressive?" She asks, "I'm curious what it could stand up to..."

Mon-El has posed:
After talking with Kara and doing as much research as he could, Lar had gone back out into space to search for the one called 'Grail.' As vastly superior as his senses were compared to most, he still isn't quite sure what he's looking for. Kal hadn't been very specific, to say the least.

But he had heard about this gathering, apparently some kind of weapons convention. Seemed to be a popular place, so maybe he'll get lucky.../

Tyran'tar has posed:
"I represent the military of tamaran plus I have experience dealing with Knowhere. So of course I am sent here." Tyran'tar says. "It isnt no green lantern tech but it is decent enough. I have used alot less during the war with the citadel." He says as he watches Grail. "Glad to see you survived Lobo. He can be a little abrasive but his skill and ability as a warrior are no joke." He says calmly as he watches her. "What are you looking for specifically?" He asks curiously. It is then a light flickers on his ring and he looks to it.

Grail has posed:
For the moment, Grail is no more aware of Mon-El than he is of her. She just instead listens to Tyran'tar talk and chuckles, "Survived him? He's lucky he survived me." She nods her head as she looks at the equipment and then looks up to Tyran'tar, "I'm not really looking for much in specifics. Just strength. So far, I'm wholly unimpressed with it all. None of this seems to be strong enough to even harm me let alone harm the things I wish to deal with." She shrugs, "At most, I've been entertained by it all."

Tyran'tar has posed:
"Then you are from a rare race which can handle alot. I am afraid I am not so lucky." Tyran'tar says as he looks to the air. He then turns his attention back to Grail. "So what entertains you? Violence? I know if you dont mind hurting people my queen would employ you for her own ends." The lantern says as he sighs. "To be honest as much as I enjoy fighting, I dont like killing. How can you fight someone again when they are dead?"

Mon-El has posed:
Lar turns toward Tyran'tar when he hears the familiar voice and the mention of the familiar name. Yeah, Lobo could be a pain in the neck sometimes. "Hey Tyran'tar." he greets. "What are you doing here?" he peers at Grail, unaware that she's the one he's looking for because, well--he doesn't really know what he's looking for the first place. Funny how life is.

Tyran'tar has posed:
"I am here representing Tamaran in the weapons faire." Tyran'tar says, not seeming to be surprised with Lar showing up. "It is a pleasure to see you alive and well Lar. I would introduce you to my friend here but I am afraid I do not know her name. She met me as I was working a business arrangement with Lobo on behalf of Queen Kormand'r." He says as he reaches into his pack and pulls out a bottle of intergalactic booze and makes construct cups to pour them into and offers them. "To powerful friends. One cannot have too many of them." He says with a smile.

Grail has posed:
A blink at the arrival of Mon-el and she looks then to Tyran'tar before looking to the new arrival. She considers, "Lar?" She considers the name a moment before she looks to Tyran'tar at his words. She chuckles and nods her head before she is about to speak when he creates constructs and pulls out a drink, "Booze again?" She asks, "Well, I suppose I'll have a drink but not sure it will have any effect." She takes it and gives it a sniff before drinking some and looking to Lar, "You were Lar? Where does a name like Lar come from?"

Mon-El has posed:
Lar nods to Tyran'tar, taking the drink, although he knows it probably won't have much of an affect on him. Most drinks don't. "Good to see you too, Ty." He replies, then turns to the strange woman. "Daxam." he says in response to her question. "And what about yourself? Who are you? Just another merc going weapon shopping, or what?"

Tyran'tar has posed:
"Lar here is a Daxamite. Other then the long dead kryptonian race, Daxamites become nigh godlike the more solar radiation they absorb. Tamaraneans have a similar ability, but it isnt as powerful as Daxamites." Tyran'tar says as he drinks his drink. "It is booze because the sharing of drinks amongst warriors is a sacred thing." He says as he pours himself a drink and sips it. "At any rate, how may I help either of you?" He asks curiously. "I dont think my weapons are strong enough to affect either of you."

Grail has posed:
A blink as she hears that and then looks at Lar again with renewed curiosity. She hmms a little, "As powerful as a Kryptonian?" She asks and then nods her head a little as she looks at him curiously before offering her hand over to Lar, "As for me?" She nods her head, "I am no merc. Not a normal one anyway." She chuckles and holds out her hand, "How about this, Lar of Daxam. I'll tell you my name for the price of one handshake." She tilts her head, "Deal?"

Mon-El has posed:
Lar shrugs at the question. "I mean, it's not like I've arm wrestled one any time recently or anything." he says with a slight chuckle. "So I couldn't say for sure one way or another."

He arches a brow at her. "A price huh? Well I guess we are on Knowhere." he takes the handshake. "I'd say it's a fair deal."

Tyran'tar has posed:
"Careful, she gave lobo a run for his money." Tyran'tar says to Lar before he moves out of the way to watch the two of them. "So Lar what brings you to Knowhere?" He asks curiously as he studies the daxamite. "Not often we garner the prince of Daxam in this den of thieves." He says as he sips his drink.

Grail has posed:
A grin and she takes the hand normally. No strings at first. However, once she has his hand fully in hers, she begins to clench her hand tighter and tighter. Her strength is impressive and growing more so by the moment. It's not terribly slow but she's slowly clenching harder and harder.
"Is it as fair as you think?" As she continues to clench down, it starts to become clear that she's very strong. Incredibly so. Kryptonian so. Maybe more? It's unclear. Not many know the upper limits. Either way she seems to be interested in Lar's reaction, her dark red eyes beginning to glow just a little.

Mon-El has posed:
"Lobo? Pff. Yeah, so can I." Lar replies, smirking. "He just doesn't know when to quit, you know? Punch him into orbit and he'll be right back to harrass you." Seriously. "I'm actually looking for someone." he says in response to the Tamaranean's question.

He arches a brow at Grail as her grip becomes stronger and stronger. Not many can make him give a handshake a second thought. However, he doesn't resist just yet. "Well, you're a tough one. Bit of a showoff, but can't say I'm surprised."

Tyran'tar has posed:
Tyran'tar nods to Mon-el and watches the two. "Well if I can help I am at your service." He says calmly as he watches Lar's reaction. "I met Lar while he was under the influence of a race of beings using him in their arena business. Took me and a musclebound alien and a fire giant to even hurt him. I mostly played defensive, using my ring to block Lar." He explains as he downs the rest of his drink and makes his cup vanish.

Grail has posed:
"Looking for someone?" She hmms as she raises his hand for a shake and then suddenly puts a great deal more strength behind it, clenching down harder in an attempt to hurt him rather than just impress. SHe's not trying to necessarily permanently damage him (especially given his toughness) but she is putting far more of the force she can muster into it suddenly and states, "Not surprsied, huh? And why is that?" She looks briefly with a glance to Tyran as she tries to keep her focus on Mon-El, "Sounds like he's quite strong..." She smirks.

Mon-El has posed:
"Yes, that -is- what I said, isn't it?" Lar says somewhat dryly. Then suddenly she's -really- jerking at him. He jerks back at this, attempting to pull his hand away from her. "Grife! The hell was that for? I get that you're strong, lady, okay? I said I wasn't surprised because a lot of people who are as powerful as you like to make a show of it." Himself included. Well, sometimes. When it was...useful.

Tyran'tar has posed:
Tyran'tar just chuckles as he watches the two of them. He shakes his head. "If I didnt know better I would say you two were made for each other." He says as he watches the woman. "I believe you owe him your name." He says as he puts the bottle away and waits for the woman to react.

Grail has posed:
A smirk and she looks over at Tryan'tar, "You have a problem with deciding who I should be with. First Lobo, now this Daxam?" She rolls her eyes before she pulls her hand back, letting Lar go, "Honestly, I have yet very few who are nearly as strong as me." She nods her head before adding, "And my name?" She considers him a moment, "I suppose it can do no harm." She nods again, "I am known as Grail..."

Mon-El has posed:
"Uh-huh, story of my life." Lar mutters to the comment about people as strong as her being rare, rubbing his hand a bit once the woman finally lets go. "Yeah, I'd say she owes me her name and where she's from, and who her parents and siblings and everything are." he jokes.

Grail? Well, would you look at that. "Really." he responds when she finally gives her name. "Grail, huh? I don't suppose you happen to be a scion of some kind."

Tyran'tar has posed:
"I take it you found the person you were looking for?" Tyran'tar says to Lar as he watches the two of them. His ring then flashes green and he looks to the two. "I am afraid this is lantern business. Excuse me." He says as he finds a private place to take his call.

Grail has posed:
A confused look to Tyran'tar and she rolls her eyes before looking back to Mon-El, "A scion?" She hmms as she looks at him, "And what would you mean by a scion?" She tilts her head, "I mean, depending on what you mean, maybe I am." She shifts in her spot and puts a hand to her hip, "And if you are looking for me, what for? Careful with your response." She slowly grins, "Cause it could end poorly..."

Mon-El has posed:
"Maybe." Lar replies to Ty, unsure of whether this was the Grail Kal was talking about or not.

"Honestly, I'm not sure. a friend of mine mentioned someone called 'Grail', who was a scion of something." He leaves the 'too terrible to say' part out. "A woman. That's all he really said." As to why she was mentioned...he leaves that part out, too.

Grail has posed:
A look at him and she tilts her head, "I am not at all sure how to react to such." She idly looks at him, "I mean, it isn't often that people simply show up looking for someone and saying, 'I am just looking for you cause someone mentioned you.' with no further explanation." She then shrugs, "Perhaps I'm not the Grail you are looking for?" She asks and hmms before shrugging, "Big universe."

Mon-El has posed:
"Maybe you're right." Lar says, shrugging as well. "But there's no way for me to know for sure until you tell me a bit more about yourself. Tyran'tar here kind of already told you about me, so why don't you tell me about you?" he suggests. "You mentioned Kryptonians earlier. You actually know of any?" he asks.

Tyran'tar has posed:
Tyran'tar comes back and he sighs. "Politics dont you love it?" He says as he watches the two. "So if you need a place to stay if you dont have a place Grail, you can stay on my ship until you find somewhere better. It isnt the most luxurious place but it has the basic amenities." He says calmly.

Grail has posed:
"A glance at Lar and she hmms, "Maybe..." She then looks to Tryan'tar, "Well, aren't you trusting." She then hmms back at Mon-El, "My mother knows of them. Knows about Earth and some of their more prominent people. People like I'm sure, yourself, who fly around above the mortals and 'show' them how to live..." She chuckles and seems to have some disdain in her words, "Now, he said things about you of his own volition. Why should I tell you more without knowing more of why you want me?"

Mon-El has posed:
Lar arches a brow in Ty's direction at this offer. It does seem rather bold. Is the Tamaranean up to something?

Hm, he considers Grail's words, scoffing a bit at the comment about showing 'mortals' how to 'live'. "Ha, I'm hardly qualified. Some of them have made even better choices in life than I have."

He sighs. "I already told you, I don't really know. I'm just trying to help a friend, that's all. He said something called the 'Great Darkness' is coming, and that I needed find a scion named Grail. For what purpose I have no idea. Just that something trapped in something called the Source Wall was trying to obscure your presence from him. There, I told you everything I know."

Grail has posed:
A hmm and she looks at him carefully, "Source wall? Great darkness?" She asks and hmms as she looks at him and then...she's fast. Extremely fast. Like, well, his speed fast. He might even recognize how she moves. It's very similar to a certain Amazonian warrior woman he might be familiar with. A scythe, wicked and sharp is whipped out and aimed right at him, "What do you know about Darkseid?" She asks and eyes him carefully, her red eyes gaining a faint glow, "I won't tell you my life story but I will say I am seeking him." She nods her head, "And last I heard, he fought Earthlings and vanished. I had planned to make a trip there before too long but you...you are from there. Who is your friend? What do you know?"

Tyran'tar has posed:
"If it's Darkseid you are looking for then I suggest apokalips. It's his personal world. Sector 38. Its a forbidden sector. No one goes there unless you got a deathwish. Rumor is Darkseid can break anyone. Those who live will serve him eventually." Tyran'tar says as he raises his ring and displays a holographic display of Apokalips. "The Corps once fought a war against Darkseid. Darkseid found out about the yellow impurity and made all his soldiers armor golden yellow so green lanterns can have a harder time fighting them." Tyran'tar explains.

Mon-El has posed:
"There was a war with Darkseid on Earth not too long ago." Lar replies, watching her movements, but not quite flinching when she whips out her weapon, just sort of eying it casually. "He was defeated and banished somewhere, not sure where, since I was in the future at the time. Or in the Phantom Zone, one of the two." Time is a weird thing. He shrugs at this.

"The friend is..." he hesitates momentarily but then finally gives it up. "Kal-El, one of the last survivors of Krypton. He grew up on Earth, spent his life soaking in Sol's radiation and considers himself a guardian of that planet. The Enchantress kidnapped him to Apokolips, Darkseid's homeworld. The Justice League brought him back, but...he says whatever had him is still out there."

Grail has posed:
Squinting a little, she pulls back the blade, "Then I will meet this Kal-El." She nods her head and looks at him, "As soon as possible." SHe then looks over at Tyran'tar a moment and then looks back to Mon-El, "I will know what he knows." She nods again and slides her weapon away.
She looks over at Tyran'tar who is away before she looks again to Mon-El, "I may go to Apokolips as well. I'm unsure. I will have answers. If Darkseid is not there, they may know something. Either way, I will not be kept from this information."

Mon-El has posed:
"I went to Apokolips with the Justice League." Lar tells Grail. "Darkseid wasn't there. But whatever was inside of Kal, keeping him under its influence..." he shakes his head. "I don't know, maybe he can tell you more about what he saw, and maybe--" then he frowns. "Wait a minute, why are you looking for Darkseid, anyway?"

Grail has posed:
A smirk is given to Mon-El and she shakes her head, "I see..." She then pauses, "You ask too many questions, Lar." SHe states simply, "You tell your friend, Kal-El, that I am coming." She smiles a little, "Perhaps I'll see what he can do." She chuckles and then looks over at Tyran'tar, "And maybe I'll take him up on his offer." SHe gesetures in the direction he is, "Just to get some beauty sleep before I show." She then starts off in that direction, "See you on Earth, Lar..."
