Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Zeta, Smart Alek

Zeta has posed:
There was some rain in the morning, but now things have settled down. Clouds fill the sky, a cool breeze moves over the now damp trees and grass. Folks walk the sidewalks, but not to many roam into the grass, worried to get their shoes dirty.

Yet one individual doesn't seem to overly mind the damp, metal bench. Instead this young man sits there, with a t-shirt, jeans, hiking books, and a piece of bread. He doesn't eat the bread however, instead he is tossing it out to the birds. Piece by piece, the black hair, green eye man seems happy with his little peaceful moment.

This man's name is Zeta and unless someone has a very keen sight, he looks every bit like a normal person.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek walks along his eyes mostly looking at his feet.. his eyes seem to boggle about, avoiding eye contact with anyone as he makes his way along of the many the paths in the park. He seems like a skinny and fairly tall young adult, just probably old enough to drink. He's pretty normal other then.. well, glowing blue eyes that make it obvious he's not all entirely normal.

Zeta has posed:
Zeta continues to feed the birds, though as he tosses a piece of bread, his eyes catch the youth coming up. He tilts his head faintly, giving the young man a glance over.

His brows furrow a little as he looks. The glowing eyes is what catches his attention the most. While he knows of metas, mutants, and other things that have come to call this world home. The Synthoid sometimes finds it so interesting how every single one is so different.

His curiosity could not be contained as he speaks up to the young man as he comes closer to him. "Hello." He says simply with a gentle, warm smile.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek pauses a moment when he's addressed... he looks at his feet when he responds, "Umm, Hello... It's.... Nice.. Weather Today.. isn't it." as he fishes to say something in this social situation.. He looks at the bread and the birds as it's something to address, "Taking care of the wild life I see."

Zeta has posed:
Zeta continues to smile gently, before his attention to drawn back to the birds. "They seem hungry and it makes me feel useful." he admits with a gentle shrug. Then breaking what he has left of the bread in half, he hands a piece over to Alek. "Like to join me?"

Zeta then ponders on the young man's first statement, about the weather, before he smirks just a tad. "And yes. The weather is nice. Though given the level of humidity and dew point, there is a high chance it will rain again in another hour or two." He glances up. "... Maybe three."

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek hmms as he takes the bread that is offered.. his touch analyzes it down to it's very base level, he's paused a moment as he considers the bread and then slowly tears a few pieces from it and tosses it to the birds.. he settles down on the bench near by Zeta, "I've not done this... spend my time mostly wandering... this is.. different." as he touches the bench a moment too, "I like to experience different things... sometimes a bench is just a few atoms, other times, I'd noticed a few out of place molecules." he raises a bread piece, "Though.. food varies the most, it's got all sorts of little differences in it.. Course... things like DNA is even more complex and unique." He nods. He seems to blush a bit, "Sorry if I have random tangents.."

Zeta has posed:
Zeta listens to Alek ramble a bit. He tilts his head a little, raises a brow, but seems honestly curious about what the young man has to say. He doesn't even /talk/ like a person, which has the Synthoid a little bit-- complexed.

Was this young man even remotely human? Was one of the thoughts that crosses Zeta's mind, as he goes to throw another piece of bread out to the birds. What if this kid was like him? Was his next thought and it causes him to hrm gently.

Though when Alek apologies, Zeta laughs gently and then grins. "Oh! It is fine. Really. I never even thought of a piece of bread being unique on an atomic scale. Though," He looks at it. "I suppose given the nature of how bread is made, that would make scientific sense that each slice of bread would be slight different."

He then lowers the slice and goes back to feeding the birds without losing a beat. "Though, how are you able to notice such things?" Zeta asks, while his focus seems to remain on feeding the birds.

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek says, "Ever since I was a kid..." he tosses a piece of bread to a bird, "everything that touches me.. I can sense what is made up of.. I can remember every arrangement of items.. it's neat but.. intense. I'm wierd..." he shrugs, "I don't really or have not dealt with people much.. mostly spent my time in libraries, computers, and stuff. It's easier to understand things when they don't have minds of their own." he tosses a nother piece of a bread, "Things are simply made of things that work in a certain way.. people are made of things too but... too much randomness there.""

Zeta has posed:
Zeta listens as Alek explains things, he continues to feed the birds, at least till he runs out of bread at long last, his hands coming to rest on his lap.

He looks upward a bit, at the clouds in the sky, still listening to what the young man says. Memorizing some thing as well about him. "I don't think you are weird." Zeta says looking over to Alek. "I think you are unique. Every person is unique after all, just sadly there are people out there who..." He tries to find the right word, which takes him a moment before he continues, "Do not understand what they, themselves, can not perceive."

Zeta looks back to the birds all amongst the grass and eating the bread they been given. "Most people like to remain ignorant to what is around them. When that ignorance is challenged, they become hostile. Instead of coming to understand something that is different. That is unique. They choose to shun it... or," His words become more dishearten; Sad. "... Destroy it."

The Synthoid in hiding looks over to Alek. "I am sure one day more people will come to understand you and you them. Everything takes time and with time, is patience." Then Zeta ahs softly before he rubs the back of his neck. "Also I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Zeta."

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek says, ""Alek." he responds, "Yeah, I know differences all too well.. I guess I'm accepting of differences. I mean, I have to deal with things changing all the time. I mean, when that tarp in the alleyway on 5th avenue is moved five inches to the left because someone slept under it the day before... I need to keep myself from moving things back." he nods, "Or the fact that my own body is changing as I age.. watching the cellular breaking down is.. not pleasant." he shrugs"

Zeta has posed:
"Alek." Zeta says, committing the name to memory. "And yes, I suppose noticing things so easily as changing could be... difficult." More things he really didn't think about much, and yet, maybe in some ways he did.

"You know what I have trouble dealing with?" Zeta says coming to rest his chin in the palm of his hand. "Magic. I met someone once who could do magic. As in levitate a car and other... strange things. I tend to think along the means of what is scientifical possible." He sighs gently. "... and things that are not scientific is... confusing. Mind breaking at times."

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek says, "Magic... Yeah, I only have researched it... nothing makes sense when your playing with things like that. I bet if I spent time holding something magical I could find what it's doing to be.. magical... but I'm more into technology. I can at least keep track of the little bits that make up what makes those things tick." he nods. He fidgits at his spot at the bench."

Zeta has posed:
Zeta mms gently and he notices the young man fidget. Then his eyes turn to the sky for a moment before he then goes to stand up. "Well, I probably should be going Alek and you may want to find some place dry to stay. I might have been off on my calculations regarding the weather."

Zeta then turns to face him with a warm, gentle smile. "I hope our paths cross again, as it was nice talking with you."

Smart Alek has posed:
Alek says, "Nice meeting you too Zeta..." he gets up, "If you need anything..." his lips move but no sound come out for a moment, but your cellphone suddenly beeps as if you have been messaged. "That's my cell phone number. Us wierdlings needs to keep in touch." he smirks as he gives a wave."
