Cast of Characters: Liz Sherman, Hellboy

Liz Sherman has posed:
The B.P.R.D office is generally a hub of activity for the usual agents. Or those others in the Trikelion that like to pop in and see what goes on here. Liz has been in most of the day, pulling books off the shelf, reading, then returning them. Lather, Rinse, Repeat as necessary really. She has a lit cigarette between her lips and she's looking through a huge leather bound tome. Her phone chimes with a text and she replies back to it before looking back to the text in front of her, "I need more coffee." she mutters as she blows out a plume of smoke.

Hellboy has posed:
It seemed that smoking was a habit among a few of the Agents down here, it was definitely something that Liz had in common with the red-skinned agent currently sat down in an office chair, that was leaning against the nearby wall. Dressed in black shirt and shorts and with the Samaritan nowhere in sight, it seemed he wasn't going to go out in the field anytime soon.

"Down here, up in the Triskelion, things have been real quiet lately. No monsters oozing out of the sewers, no Nazzies acting crazy...I don't trust it."

Much like her, a cig was hanging out of the corner of his mouth even as he was studying and observing his own right hand. Moving it this way and that way, studying some of the carvings and designs.

Liz Sherman has posed:
Liz looks up to Hellboy when he talks and there's a bit of a chuckle, "It's getting close to Halloween, all the things that go bump in the night are saving their energy up to cause a ruckus at the end of the month." she muses to that. She looks to her phone when it chimes again, but doesn't answer it immediately.

"I'm sure we'll have our hands full in a few weeks. And the downtime...is sorta nice. Though I can't stand it being too quiet." she frowns at that. "Your hand alright?" she asks him. "It's not been glowing or anything like that?" she asks him. Just in case!

Hellboy has posed:
    "No more than usual."

That much was true, it only tended to 'light up' when things were getting bad and HB was really getting clobbered. As he sat there wondering, his left hand brought up a match, striking it against one massive stone knuckle, and bringing the resulting flame up to his own smoke. Now there were two plumes in this office instead of just one.

"It's just a lot to think about sometimes. Sometimes I get tired of creeps and beasties, get tired of sending their candy asses back down to Hell."

Liz Sherman has posed:
Liz gives a bit of a chuckle to that, "That's a good sign then, Red." she tells him with a half smile. She rarely smiled for people. But Hellboy was on the short list of people. "You think they'd let you take a vacation? Somewhere nice and warm, no demons or creatures of the night wanting to run around and cause a mess?" she muses to that.

She brushes a lock of her hair back over her shoulder, tucking it behind her ear so she doesn't let it hang near the cigarette. "Had a demon issue about a month ago. Had some help in taking care of it though." she admits.

Hellboy has posed:
Somehow I don't think I'd be a common sight, just walking around Africa or Scotland. Can you imagine me, just strol-"

He stopped and turned to regard her as she continued to speak, paying close attention to 'demon problem'.

"I'm glad to hear you had help. You know, we're family. You don't ever have to take on something like that alone."

The watch around his wrist started giving a series of beeps, and looking at it brought an eyeroll and exasperated sigh from the half-Demon.

"Listen, I have to go. Soon as I get back, though, I want to hear about this demon problem. And uhhh, good luck with these books."

And with that, he was gone.
