Description:

Mercy Graves' entire demeanor and appearance screams of someone completely non-nonsense. She's probably a little shorter than average but usually is wearing a pair of killer black heels that bring her height to a few inches under six feet. Her straight blonde hair is pulled back into a severe tie at the nape of her throat. She wears just enough make up to enhance naturally attractive, high cheek bones, a small nose, and firm mouth. Her blue eyes seem to watch everything and nothing, a woman trained to be sharply aware of her surroundings at all points in time.

Her business suit only slightly hides a body made of trained, fiercely toned muscle. The black jacket is cut just loose enough that she can wear at least two weapons beneath without pulling on the tailored lines. The pencil skirt tightly hugs her body but is slit up the back to her upper thighs to allow for a full range of movement. Simple bits of gold jewelry and a delicate, designer smart watch finish the look. She may be best described as dangerously understated.

History:

Mercy's life wasn't much to speak of before she met Lex Luthor. She grew up in a poor family in the Bronx, restless with energy and smarter than most of her class. It means she got into a lot of fights as a kid. Her mother eventually tried to funnel that energy into martial arts classes, which just meant she was better when she got into a fight. She dropped out of college the first time and started her own band of women thieves operating between New York, Gotham, and other east coast cities. They were quite successful, until she tried to rob the wrong man.

Mercy got close to robbing Lex Luthor but, when he caught her, he offered her a job instead. She became part of his security in her early twenties and quickly worked her way up the line, proving herself loyal, hungry for more challenges, and willing to learn. She took the privilege working for Lex afforded her and honed herself into a fine weapon - both in business and in body. Now, over a decade later, she's invaluable as Lex Luthor's right hand woman. He's repaid this loyalty by helping her get her first cybernetic implant ever.

Personality:

Fiercely loyal, incredibly intelligent, and immensely physically capable, Mercy Grave is Lex Luthor's right hand in all things. She clearly believes in Lex and the missions that LexCorp holds itself to completing - to both protect and control the world as it see fits. She is no-nonsense and many people find her intimidating when even simply sharing the same room.

Biology:
Not a doctor, but Mercy has studied the body for many years - specifically focusing on the ways she can defeat it. She knows all the various pressure points on the human body which can be used to quickly down or even kill an opponent. While this skill is specifically limited to humans, should she have study time and access to knowledge about other species, she would be able to pick up such understanding for them as well.

Body Control:
Through the years of her training, she has been taught to focus her mind and body away from pain and damage she is receiving. While she still takes injury, she knows how to focus that pain away now and ignore it for the duration of a fight. It means she can take far more damage than most people in combat, but she also drops hard once a fight is done.

Dancing:
While she started on the streets, one of the things she's done to bring herself up to society standards to be a world class woman at Lex's side, is learn how to dance. She's quite capable in ballroom, swing and Latin dancing. It's one of the few relaxing things she actually enjoys.

Honed Reflexes:
Mercy has had years of training under Lex's service and that means that her reflexes are at the peak of human ability. She can respond to an attack fast as most trained predator animals - sometimes faster, depending on how paranoid she is that night. She constantly keeps up her training and is all the more dangerous for her honed response mechanisms.

Intimidation:
While she's a capable fighter, Mercy knows how to talk a good game as well. She's excellent at saying the right things to put someone in their place, leverage threats when needed, interrogate prisoners, and generally make herself far more frightening that a thin blonde woman should be.

Languages:
Mercy currently speaks Spanish, French, German, and English fluently. She's picked up conversational Greek, Italian and Portuguese in her travels. Part of being a highly intelligent mercenary and international business woman means she has reason to use all the languages frequently to assist Lex in his day to day business.

Leadership:
Mercy is now used to commanding anywhere between 2 and several dozen members of a security team at a time. She's even organized several meetings, business conferences, and is used to being listened to when she calls the shots. She has a natural air of command about her and has only honed it in her trusted position at Lex' side.

Marksmanship:
In her early career, Mercy didn't love firearms but knew they were necessary. She practiced at a range weekly, just in case the worst scenario happened. Now that she's with Lex, however, her training has upped to daily. She a highly skilled marksman with a variety of firearms, including long range rifles for specialized circumstances. She knows that bringing anything but a bigger gun to a gun fight is a good way to be killed, so she's schooled herself to operate with the best of them firearms wise. Her morning range warm up has now become a favourite activity.

Martial Arts:
Mercy has been fighting in one form or another since she was a child. First her parents put her through marital arts classes in attempts to help burn off some of her energy, then when things got bad she was fighting on the streets for her own survival. Now, decades later, she's trained in several styles to hone herself into being a weapon. She knows how to use her opponent's weight against them with deadly force.

Tactics:

Mercy has a honed sense of tactics and tactical command, being in charge of Lex Luthor's security force for all these years. She's studied war theory, field command, and practical security training to give herself the best overview of how to handle even the most dangerous of security threats.

Adrenaline Implant:
Right now, the only cybernetic implant that Mercy has is an experimental adrenaline and hormonal mix to help her keep going in a fight when she should be downed. She simply needs to tap a small implant on the side of her neck and her body is flooded with adrenaline and hormones to help her ignore pain, continue fighting, and get out of a dangerous situation.

Armory:
With LexCorp's money and her responsibility to the company, Mercy has a small armory at her command at any point in time. This includes firearms, explosives, body armor, infrared technology, sensory equipment, climbing/repelling gear, tear gas, and other non-lethal weapons. She would have to justify any massive purchases or damages, but she has access to what LexCorp needs to be protected at all points in time.

Lexcorp:
The right hand woman to Lex Luthor, she has most of the assets of LexCorp at her command as she needs. This comes with a very nice car, excellent salary, tech research, penthouse apartment, and world news at her fingertips.

MBA:
Early in her working for Lex Luthor, Mercy decided she needed to understand business as much as she did a fight. So, she went to school and finished her Masters in Business Administration from New York University using LexCorp's money. The investment has paid for itself thrice over already.

Team Luthor:

As Lex's right hand, she has control of Team Luthor's mercenaries as needed. Lex allows her command of the LexCorp PMCs and authorizes her to use mercenary spending as needed.

Adrenaline Addict:
Mercy has always found herself bored with a regular life. Even when she was younger, she took to street fights and mercenary work to keep herself busy. While part of her longs for normalcy, she's too addicted to adrenaline to keep it around for long. That is why she still takes a personal hand in leading up all of Lex's security, when she could focus more on the business side and being his right hand woman.

Enemies:

Lex Luthor has countless enemies over his sharp career and Mercy has fought nearly every one of them. Lex's enemies are her enemies. She's killed more than a few people in defense of her boss and their families consider her as responsible as Lex for their deaths. At this point in her life, Mercy has lost count of how many would call her an enemy but she considers her work worth it.
