Invisible Woman has posed:
    The Commotion outside FINALLY brings Susan down to the ground floor to see what's going on. "What the heck is going on? I played hell trying to get the kids to bed with all of the stuff going on outside." She says with a groan.

Mister Fantastic has posed:
    Reed hmmms, looking up from what he's reading. "...I thought it sounded a bit noisy.." he admits, tapping a button on his tablet. "...ah. Someone attempted to raid a STAR Labs convoy..." He frowns. "Apparently this Intergang we've been hearing about."

Invisible Woman has posed:
    "ugh! Valeria kept trying to sneak out of her room to see the firefight." Sue says softly before looking to Reed. "She finally went to sleep, then Franklin tried to sneak out." She shakes her head. "They're both finally asleep, so I came down. Where's Johnny?"

Mister Fantastic has posed:
    Reed shakes is head slighty, standing up to walk over to you, sliding an arm around your waist. "Mmm, no idea, he and Ben are both out at the moment. I haven't seen them in a bit, to be honest."

Invisible Woman has posed:
    "We may need them soon, especially if Intergang is going after Star Lab facilities, Reed." Sue then looks to Reed, putting her hand on his. "Hopefully Jen gets back soon. We may need the extra muscle as well."

Mister Fantastic has posed:
    Reed mmms. "Maybe. These new weapons and reports of portal incursions have me concerned that we might be facing some fort of advance force....someone giving weapons to those who will cause the most chaos."

Invisible Woman has posed:
    "That's.....not a good feeling you just gave me, Reed." Sue says quietly. "Can you come up with some sort of portal closer? Or do we need a bit of their tech first?"

Mister Fantastic has posed:
    Reed smiles ruefully. "The latter, I'm afraid. It depends on the way they're transporting here...and where they're coming from, if it's an interdimensional breach or an interplanetary one, perhaps." He hmms. "It wouldn't be the first time someone has tried to invade us here from another world, after all."

Invisible Woman has posed:
    "I know. Once we get Ben, Johnny and Jen on this...it won't be hard to get their tech. Getting it intact will be another challenge." Sue says. "I'm more worried about the kids...."

Mister Fantastic has posed:
    Reed hmms. "Well...I'm sure I can tug on a few ears to see about getting a sample of the technology from the authorities." he says thoughtfully. "I guess they'd like all the help they can get figuring out where it came from, or at least how to counter it."

Invisible Woman has posed:
    Sue takes a deep breath. "and with all of us on alert, we'll have to get the kids somewhere where they'll stay out of trouble.

Thing has posed:
Ben Grimm slowly rumbles in, yawning slightly as passes through the room and squints at his friends. "Anyone know whut's goin on outside?" he asks. "I wuz havin' a nap and buncha noise woke me up.." he says and yawns again. "Oi, wuz a late night.. and morning. if ya catch my drift..." and waggles his rocky brows... then frowns at the worried looks on their faces. "Am I missin sumthin'?"

Mister Fantastic has posed:
    Reed looks over and smiles. "Ah, I'm wrong, you were here..." He nods towards the window. "There was an attack on a STAR Labs convoy moving through the city nearby. More of these Intergang thugs, with these strange weapons they've managed to get hold of. From the look of the reports and the scene down there, it looks like they weren't successful.

Invisible Woman has posed:
    "Hey Ben." Sue says softly. "What Reed just said. We may have to step in ourselves if this keeps up." She says softly. "And I know you and Jen make a good team."

Thing has posed:
Ben Grimm frowns and rubs at his eyes. "Wait.. Yer tellin me some hitech gang thugs were tryin ta shanghai a convoy of science whatchamacallits and no one woke me up?" he asks increduality in his thick voice. "I coulda been out dere clobberin some mokes! Instead I wuz gettin' my beauty sleep, not dat I need it.." he grumps.

Mister Fantastic has posed:
    Reed looks a bit sheepish. "I admit I didn't notice until Sue pointed it out...I was, ah, reading a really fascinating paper..." He sighs. "Though, I'm starting to wonder if this is symptomatic of a wider problem of some sort. Possibly someone trying to create chaos by handing out these weapons to thugs like Intergang."

Invisible Woman has posed:
    "Which brought a really bad feeling with me. If this is the beginning of a much larger problem, we may need to bring out the big guns. Meaning we have to get some of their tech and let Reed Analyze it....so we can counter it." Sue says softly. "First priority though.....we're going to need to get the kids somewhere safe. And second....we need to pack our flare guns. A raid on Star Labs is no joke."

Thing has posed:
Ben Grimm sighs and walks over to teh fridge, opening it up and pulling out a large can of beer, of which he pops the top and shakes his head. "If it ain't one thing it's anuther.." he gripes, then takes a few swigs.. swallos.. and aaaaaaaahs as he closes teh fridge and leans against it. "I thought I heard yas say sumethin about portals.. Dontchya got a Portal detectormahoozit? I mean, ya open portals to places all the time Stretcho.. Heck, ya probably know mout portals than any man on Earth..." He then looks to Sue and frowns. "Well, where can we send da rugrats?" he asks.

Mister Fantastic has posed:
    Reed pauses to scroll up the tablet. "Yes...the most recent reports from this attack suggested some sort of portal was used...though it's not clear for what, exactly. Possibly to evacuate the leaders of the group trying to raid the trucks." He glances at Ben, then at Sue. "...I'm not sure where we could send them that they'd be safe than here at the plaza."

Invisible Woman has posed:
    "It's more Valeria than Franklin. Valeria Hacks the systems so often that we have to reprogram everything everytime we're out. She gets bored too easy." Sue then makes a face. "Plus, they need a baby sitter that's human, and someone that can't be reprogrammed by a girl that's too smart for her own good." She then pats Ben on the shoulder. "We need our Ever-lovin' blue eyed Ben Grimm with us."

Mister Fantastic has posed:
Reed Richards hmms. "...I..did speak to the Legion, actually. If they would be interested in taking charge of her education, perhaps. Their ship is very secure, and they have systems she couldn't mess with as easily. Plus they certainly have all the knowledge she could need, even if they restrict her history lessons."

Thing has posed:
Ben Grimm daws and blushes as much as hsi rocky dermis will allow as Sue pats him on the shoulder. "Well uv course ya needs me, Susie.. What would ya guys be wit'out me?!?" he asks, then sips his beer again in thought.. Then looks at Reed. "Ya wanna send Val-girl inta /space/?" he asks. "I dunno.. That sounds like a risky proposition... Why don't we sent her and Franklin ta stay wit' my Aunt Petunia until this Intergang brujah blows over?"

Invisible Woman has posed:
    "Your Aunt Petunia couldn't defend against future tech, Ben. The Legion can...and she'd be out of danger.....as far as we know." Sue says softly. "And, if the enemy is from space, they could run into space to keep them safe."

Mister Fantastic has posed:
    Reed nods solemnly. "And it's not like we can't visit her while she's there, or vice versa. It's not a long trip at all to the Legion cruiser. One of their number, Luornu...Triplicate Girl, I think?...she apparently is a teacher for young Legionaires, and was interested in putting together a suitable lesson plan for her. She'd also be exposed to the attitudes of the Legion, which can only be beneficial for her. They're all excellent role models, as far as I can tell."

Thing has posed:
Ben Grimm looks a bit Fidgety. "I dunno ya guys.. I mean, I know my Aunt isn't technologically inclined but.. she /is/ on earth.. And You know I love Val and Franky but.. But this is /space/ were talkin about here.. I don't care how 'safe' a futuristic spaceship is.. It's still a /spaceship/. And spacesghips are meant ta protect us frum /dyin/ in an environment which is NOT human safe.. Besides.. Val is a /kid/ and as smart as she is.. she needs to be among OTHER kids or else whe will grow up.. ya know.. squirrely.."

Invisible Woman has posed:
    "We'll get to work tomorrow guys. For now, lets just head to bed and sleep." Sue says to them both. "Just a bad feeling we'll need to research this."

Mister Fantastic has posed:
    Reed hmms. "Yes. I'll see if I can get hold of some of this technology....put in a request and an offer to help tonight. Maybe I've seen something like it before...hmm..." "

Thing has posed:
Ben Grimm finishes his beer and easily crushes the can before tossing it in the recycle bin. "Well ya guys study all ya need.. It's whut ya do. <e? I'm gonna make a few calls around.. Look inta the possible for a few new safehouses fer teh kids fer tha future.."
