Cast of Characters: Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, Michelangelo

"Hell no! She's our enemy! What's wrong with you, bro?"

To say Raphael was not having it was an understatement, as he stomped around the Turtle Lair not even attempting to hide his anger.

"I don't know. She's fought us a bunch, and this could all be a big trick. Shredder wants to get rid of us and I wouldn't put it past him to come up with a plan so we drop our guard, but if this FBI agent is legit...maybe she's really telling the truth. I'll see what I can find out about that fire in Alaska, too."

Donatello struggled to make up his mind, which was reasonable given the limited information they had so far, but at least he had a path he could follow to verify information and double-check stories.

"I think she'd be great to have on our side! It happens all the time in the comics, right? Bad guy sees the light, joins the good guys, then much butt is kicked? It's awesome!"

At least Michelangelo seemed more open to the idea, in between stuffing his face with slices of pizza brought back from Rupert's. Woody always came through.

"Guys, I know it's a lot to take in right now but just...give it a chance, okay? She did attack Shredder at the Museum, and I told you how it went up on the rooftops. I'm not saying we bring her in here. It's not like that at all. I still have a lot of doubts about her too, and if it's just a trick we'll deal with it. If it's not, this could change everything."

Leonardo was fighting with his own thoughts, wondering if he was making the right call to go further with this, but what would it hurt to check in with the FBI dude she told him about? He just showed up in the news too, along with another Punisher incident.

Maybe it was a good thing they scaled back some of their involvement with the vigilante. No matter what the man's motives or moral codes were, Leo still had big problems with anyone playing judge, jury, and executioner.

But, that part could wait for another time. There were more important things to deal with.

"Just be extra careful for now," the eldest Turtle urged. "I need to speak with Father about this too, then meditate. Anyone who wants to come with me, let's go."

This time, none of them do. Raph was already fixing to go topside. Donnie was making a beeline toward his computer. Mikey was busy with the box of pizza, shaking it upside down just in case any hidden slices might drop out. Sometimes being the leader was extra difficult, especially when you want to do the right thing but you're not totally sure what the right thing is.

"...all right. Good talk, everyone," Leonardo said, his voice dropping a bit. He'd just have to see Splinter about Alopex alone.
