Satana Hellstrom.

In heels -- and she is *always* in heels, if she is in anything at all -- she stands more than six feet tall; her presence is dominating and commanding in a most visceral way, her body literally made for sin. Her hair is a mane -- impossibly thick, impossibly luxurious, grown almost to her ankles in loose curls. It may appear black at first glance, but when light is upon it, its true hue is revealed to be the darkest, blood shade of red, unnatural and electric. Her brows are elegant, arched high and dark; her eyes are dark amber in hue, almond-shaped, enhanced with dark shadow, thick liner and long, pitch black lashes.

Satana's inhumanly attractive features mark her as no ethnicity in particular. However, it seems too small, too gentle a thing to call her 'beautiful' -- she is alluring, she is arousing, she is compelling -- the way that an open flame is to a moth. Her flesh is sunless pale and her complexion flawless; her cheekbones are high. Her lips are a sinfully plush pearlique painted the color of blood, and when she speaks it sometimes seems as if her canines are larger, sharper, than a woman's are meant to be.

The Devil's Daughter is not dressed -- she is *attired*. Her body is encased in black, unholy latex that fits her like a second skin, is cool and smooth to the touch, and shines in even the dimmest light. Her suit is high-necked, a flared downwards V at its front to reveal her throat; it has a cut not unlike a halter, revealing slender, femininely sloped shoulders. She is audacious enough to wear a cape, and audacious enough to make it work -- it is high-peaked, points to either side of her head, red interior and black exterior, flowing down to her ankles with her hair against it.

Her arms are light and graceful, and she wears unholy latex gloves a touch longer than formal-length that encase her hands, holes for her thumbs, the latex stopping short at her knuckles to leave her fingers free, her nails long stilletos and blood-red. There is a cut-out -- almost excessively large -- at her chest, fully revealing the inner swell of phenomenal breasts and most of their bottoms, as well as her slender stomach. What is covered, is held so possessively it may as well be bared. The suit scoops at the bottom of her ribs, revealing a waist that draws precociously close to being waspish and the full expanse of widely flared and perfectly rounded hips.

A metallic belt is slung low around those hips, medallions linked together with a small, inhuman skull set off to one side. So much of her ivory flesh is revealed that even the crease of her legs meeting her pelvis is seen, and easily-offended onlookers must surely be thankful for the coverage provided by her cape and copious tresses. Satana's legs are long and wickedly well-shaped, smooth thighs and firm calves cast in the same clinging, clutching unholy latex as the rest of her alluring figure, and upon her feet she wears platform heels of black leather with small, metal studs lined above the soles.

History

Satana was born a Hellstrom, of a good New England family, with an older brother as a rival, a mother who was mad as a hatter and a father who ruled an unholy hell dimension. Satana was very much a daddy's girl. Succubus by nature, she clung to her father's favor and tutelage. When he left her brother and mother behind, he took his daughter with him to hell, teaching her the dark arts and molding her in his image.

Of course, rebellion runs in the family and, inevitably, Satana decided to walk her own path. She still loves her father and has a complex relationship with him, put bluntly, but there's no open hostility. She has returned to the Earth realm, pursuing power and amusement. She occasionally forays into the world of occult investigation but, generally speaking, prefers leisure and opulence when she can get it. Of course, that doesn't mean she's idle - far from it. She simply follows her own whims as to where and with who she gets involved.

Satana is a creature of blatant, shameless self-interest. Vainglorious, greedy, and decadent, she pursues her own impulses without fear or hesitance. She has little interest in morality. While her father is seen as a figure of evil, she sees such matters as simple perspective and doesn't care to be seen as aligned. She has a playful nature, tending to treat other people like pawns or toys for her amusement. She has a strong sadistic streak, especially when it comes to schadenfreude, although she's rarely cruel just for cruelty's sake. Like most demons, she's resistant to rules or laws trying to govern her behavior and will often defy them simply to prove her independence. Attempting to put her on a leash is simply asking to be bitten.

BLACK MAGIC
Satana is a premiere sorceress and worker of black magic. She can weave curses, summon dark energies to do harm, and create portals to other dimensions. She can use magickal energy to fly or create shields around herself. She can draw demons to do her bidding and craft wards to keep the same at bay. She's especially adept at mind control and manipulation, enabling her to reach into the minds of others, fill them with illusions, even enslave them to her will (depending on their ability to resist such things). She can alter her appearance essentially at will. All of these things require various magickal elements and energies, some of which are complex.

HALF-DEMON
Satana's inhuman heritage gives her a physiology greater than a simple mortal. She's superhumanly tough, with bulletproof skin and a total resistance to fire (or cold for that matter). She can regenerate injuries relatively quickly, her demonic energies reforming her flesh instinctively. A broken bone would reform entirely in ten minutes or so. She has superhuman physical strength, enabling her to lift around ten tons, tossing around cars and bending steel. Her aging is stymied, making her either immortal or near-immortal. She's resistant to conventional mortal disease and poison.

SUCCUBUS

Satana possesses the innate power to drain the life energy from other living beings. To do so requires physical touch, skin to skin. With such contact establish, she can begin leeching away a person's chi/soul/lifeforce. She can drain a normal human dry in a matter of minutes. Beings with superhuman resilience or healing abilities can last much longer, depending on their vitality, and some may be able to resist it entirely. Satana hungers for life force and generally must feed on the equivalent of a single human life at least once a week in order to stay functional, although it doesn't always have to be all from one source at the same time. She often consumes much more, however, and doesn't seem to have an upper limit on how much vitality she can absorb.

LIBERAL ARTS
Satana was given a broad education by her father in matters of history, literature, art and culture. While she has little knowledge nor care for such bores as mathematics or science, she has a rich understanding of poetry and a deep appreciation of a variety of painters. She's not afraid to be snobby about any of it either.

OCCULT
Satana possesses a wide range of occult knowledge, especially in the realm of demonology. She knows arcane languages and can recognize most forms of supernatural creatures. She could recite the hierarchy of hell and knows the 'flavors' of a variety of alternate supernatural dimensions. She would be an excellent occult investigator if she felt like working for a living.

PRINCESS
Satana was raised the daughter of a devil, a princess of Hell. She wears authority like a second skin, commanding and demanding of others with a natural charisma and decisiveness. She's used to getting her way and tends to know exactly what she wants. She's certainly not afraid to let those wants be known, nor to crack the whip to make sure it's done to her satisfaction. She also has impeccable manners, when she chooses to use them. Which, to be frank, isn't that often.

SEDUCTION

As a succubus, Satana possesses a naturally sensuous and corrupting nature. She's adept at charming others, getting under their skin, and, frankly, seducing them to her side. She has an allure that most anyone finds hard to resist, regardless of their inclinations (although, of course, OOC consent must and will always be respected in such matters).

BASILISK
Satana's spirit has been bound to and formed a prison for a demonic monstrosity known as the Basilisk. When it manifests, the Basilisk appears as a draconian creature, thirty feet long or so and reptilian in nature. Its gaze can turn people to stone, it can breathe fire, and it has horrifying claws and fangs. The Basilisk hates all living things and will destroy anything in its path. Satana does not unleash the Basilisk under anything but dire circumstances, for re-imprisoning it is no small task and will leave her exhausted and vulnerable in the aftermath.

MATERIAL WEALTH
Satana's father has often been confused with Hades and, while they are not at all the same, he has a similar relationship with wealth and money. Satana has never lacked for funds, with a vast fortune at her fingertips from mostly illicit sources. She has houses under assumed names, various cultural treasures and works of art and lovely vehicles which she pays other people to drive for her.

MYSTIC ITEMS

Satana has a rather extensive library of magical tomes, largely centered in the dark arts, Satanism and black magic. She also possesses a few mystic weapons, notably knives and whips, capable of cutting through conventional armor like butter and doing real and lasting harm to even supernatural creatures.

FATHER
Shaitan loves Satana but he also wants to use her for his own gain. Her love for her father can be used against her, both into defending him and because he's an untrustworthy snake who is more than happy to treat her like a tool when it suits him.

MANIFESTATION
When in the throes of her power, Satana will often grow fangs and horns, sometimes even goat's legs or wings, as a manifestation of her demonic nature. This especially occurs if she is angered. At such times, obviously, she isn't exactly going to pass for human.

PETTY
Satana can be extremely shallow and short-sighted. She holds grudges, has a short temper and can generally act in a rash, rude or whimsical manner. It's all too easy to get on her bad side and she may sometimes act foolishly in a fit of pique.

POSSESSED
Satana contains the Basilisk and keeps it imprisoned under her will. It can, however, rise up and overcome her, subsume and enslave her to its own desires. The Basilisk is destructive and malevolent and will generally do what it can to ruin Satana's life and comopel her to set it free until she can regain control of her body.

UNHOLY
Satana is the daughter of a demon. Exorcism, holy items and various other weapons designed to work against demons and devils will be effective against her and can potentially cast her back to Hell or even destroy her entirely should they do her sufficient harm.

VAMPIRE

As a succubus, Satana needs life energy to survive. If she is imprisoned or somehow denied the chance to feed, she will begin to wither and grow weaker and weaker until she expires. She generally needs to feed on at least a human life per week, aggregate, in order to stay sustained, although she generally consumes more than that and will feel the pangs of hunger and starvation if she goes much below that for even a day or two.
