Location: Unknown
Synopsis: Just some young people at a car show
Cast of Characters: Sarah Osborn, Human Torch, Gregory Stark, Power Girl

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Now do not get her wrong, Sarah likes cars...but the reason she is here is work. She is a working stiff, who pays her way by arranging lighting. Lighting for band concert, lighting for stage productions, and lighting for displays. The latter is why she is here, people who want to display thing want them properlighted, and that is why they hire Sarah. She has set up the lighting displays for the car show and now has time to admire her work...and the cars.

Human Torch has posed:
Johnny Storm is of course here to check out the goods. Amongst the hundreds of people out on the brisk January day, he is again of course, not cold.

His swag along the display is noticeable along the car strip and he stops at almost every car and looks under the hood. Touches the engine and then smells his finger while do a few other expert inspection things.

"Not Bad. Not bad at all."

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Sarah picks up a sketch pad and starts drawing a sketch of a car engine. The thing is, it is obvious to anyone who knows cars well it is not any engine on display here. It seems an interesting design...something possibly designed for increased fuel economy and reduced environmental impact, but without significant loss of power.

Human Torch has posed:
Johnny Storm is still strolling along the car displays. He waves a one or two people and a few fan girls stop him to take a selfie in front of there favorite cars. Coming along to Sarah's location he simply and easily spies on her drawing with out asking and smiling he says,

"What is that?"

He smiles again.

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Sarah says, "You know, car companies generally do only the minimum to meet fuel efficiency standards. It is part of a deal they have with oil companies, some folks think. I mean look at this engine here, there are at least fifteen ways you could improve the engine design so it pollutes less and uses less fuel...the two generally being linked. The car companies will not produce them though...even though they know a lot of them. Look here..." She proceeds to point out all the ways the engine in her design saves fuel to Johnny. Johnny is probably impressed, not only is Sarah cute, but she knows cars...

Human Torch has posed:
Johnny Storm raises an eyebrow and responds, "Little lady, can I call you that?"

"Little Lady, that is not what car shows are about. It's about the vintage," and he points to a '67 Chevy across the way.

"Or the exotic," he points to the Lamborgini he just passed.

"Or even that just plain cool," he points to the Convertabile Porche that is next.

"Even the interiors, radios, antenna, mirrors..."

"Your adjustments look fine and all and I am sure that you are smart but I think that you are missing the point. Walk with me Little Lady. I'm Johnny, but my friends call me 'J'Storm'."

Gregory Stark has posed:
Right next door is a tent, a large white canvas tent that takes up an entire space where a car should go. It's been there all day, people have gone in and out, but the public seem to be repeatedly stopped by a single security guard in an all white suit. There's been a buzz about what's waiting inside all day. It's not nearly the most exciting stall, but it's still garnered a bit of attention with multiple people trying and failing to sneak in.

As the two speak four individuals leave the tent each dressed in their all white suits. Each goes to a corner of the tent and kneels down. With a single push of a button the whole facade begins to fold up from the ground back along the metal framing of the structure. Soon the entire tent has folded up onto itself the frame rolling back into a small box on the platform.

Beneath the tent that had been a source of confusion and speculation all through the day is set of three vehicles, a Sports car, a van, and a pickup truck. Each one is sleek as a bullet with curves and contours out of the absolute bleeding edge of concept car design. The wheels are hidden behind large metal shields completely encased, and the bodies have an overtly aerodynamic design that looks more at home on a futuristic jetliner then a car. Each sporting the Stark Global Solutions logo, and a pure white paint job.

Perhaps the most impressive thing of all is a simple fact easily missed. None of the three cars are actually setting on the small stage that's been set up for them. In fact all three are floating two feet off the ground, the wheels bathed in a white glow.

Standing in front of the main car is one Gregory Stark. The blonde haired billionaire smiles at the passing figures who's attention have been grabbed by this strange display. A hand wrests on the hood of either car to his left or write as he leans back against the central car.

Power Girl has posed:
The noise from the sky is something akin to thunder. It's not something the denizens of New York are unaccustomed to- After all, there's this armored hammery fellow that practically vomits the stuff everywhere he goes.

This, however, is not such an occasion, as in concert with the noise from the sky and Gregory's unveiling, a voice comes from several loudspeakers, strategically placed throughout the show. The man's voice is smooth, but has a mild southern lilt to it, a practiced announcer through and through.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, you have several minutes still to peruse at your leisure, but if I may direct your attention to the stage I would like to present one of our judges and, later this evening, auctioneer and hailing all the way from Metropolis, POWER GIRL."

Dropping from the sky at Mach II, with all the subtlety of... Well, a six-foot-three brick flying at Mach-Fragging-Two, Power Girl lands on the stage with a powerful thud looking exactly like you'd expect someone so stereotypically heroic as she to look.

That she can decelerate enough immediately before the landing is impressive, especially as the accompanying gust of wind hits the announcer, who has to clutch at his hat. Clearly amused, he offers her the microphone.

Her response is merely to smile out at the crowd. "Evening, everyone. I'm going to be making my way around to all the exhibits, soon. It's great to be here."

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Sarah says, "I am Sarah...I am a bit of a tech nerd, so I am more into the new designs, though I can admit the strying details of the classics are often interesting." She nods at the revealed vehicles, "Now those are interesting, I wonder how the levitation effect is achieved? Do you think it is a magnetic effect tapping into the Earth's magnetic field, or something else? I wonder how efficient it is." She blinks at Power Girl being a celebrity judge, but why not.

Human Torch has posed:
Johnny Storm stops in his tracks and his eyes get big at the three floating masses of beauty, "Miss Sarah, mind if we go over there and ask?"

But he is of course distracted by Power Girls entrance and makes a note to make and entrance in Metropolis that way some day but only better.

Mental Note.

"If we ask the tall stiff gentleman there I am sure that he can give more details. I bet we could even look under that beautiful trunk."

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl wastes no real time stepping- or, rather, floating- off of the stage and starting to make her way around to various exhibits. Admittedly, she has to take some level of her time, because like Johnny, she has a few people lining up to speak to her. There are some marked differences- seeing as this isn't Metropolis, the number of people who are legitimately fans of her is not going to be as high as Johnny. In addition, most people just want to get close and take a photograph, which she somewhat rarely obliges. There seems to be some mild unseen factor that qualifies someone to take a picture with Power Girl.

Still, regardless of that, she's making her rounds to some select classics first before eventually finding her way over to the SGS un-tent. She's not immediately in the area of the exploring pair, though- rather, she's on the opposite side of the visit, checking out the Van.

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Sarah says, "He might possibly object, if he knows who I am related to, but since I am not here to spy for my father's company, I guess it will not hurt to ask. Your name si more likely to get us that look than mine." Being related to Norman Osborn does not open some doors...

Human Torch has posed:
Johnny Storm continues to peer at Power Girl...show off....and as distracted as he is by the other team on his turf. Showing off, he turns to Sarah while the seemingly now have to wait in line to see the cars.

Inbetween selfies he says to Sarah, "Relation? You have a relation that may be a problem here?"

Power Girl has posed:
Power Girl isn't really holding anyone up- as of yet, there's really no way to do that, necessarily- but it is worthy of note that they're all basically looking to speak to the same person. Charismatic as he may be, Gregory is getting all of the attention from everyone at the show, and that particular fact is what is stopping all of them from discussing the experimental vehicles with their creator.

The statuesque woman does take a short time to investigate each vehicle in turn, and doesn't necessarily seem in a rush to speak with the inventor, seemingly gleaning some level of knowledge about the vehicles just by looking at them- and partially, she does seem relatively impressed!

It's about that time that she actually comes close enough to Johnny and Sarah to speak, but despite recognizing the FF's living inferno, she notes that their conversation is just slightly too private to butt in, for the moment. She just spends her time looking over the Sporty model SGS was exhibiting.

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Sarah sighs, "Yeah, he had not quite gotten around to admitting it pblicly, but Norman Osborn is my father. He got my mother prenant while still married to Harry's mother, so he kept me hidden away with some distant cousins out in Bludhaven. I did not even know he was my father until October last year. He said he was going to tell people we were related, but he is not all that big on keeping promises."

Human Torch has posed:
Johnny Storm frowns, "Osborn huh? That guy ran for mayor recently right? I of course didn't vote for him," a thought makes him smirk. "I should've run for the office," mental note.

He pats 'Little Lady' on the shoulder. "I am sure that he will come around. He is running for office after all. Time has to be right."

As miss show off floats over Johnny turns his head towards her, "Quite a few people want to take pictures with you."

Power Girl has posed:
Turning on her heel, but not with enough of a flourish to actually be showing off, the blonde judge raises a brow in response to Johnny's statement. She folds her arms- admittedly, a gesture that just plain ought to be illegal- and offers this little nodding shrug. "Yeah, but you have to listen to the heartbeat. I get a lot of people thinking they can sneak a bit more in a camera flash than they actually can. It's not particularly flattering."

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Sarah adds, "Given your reflexes and enhanced senses, you would be aware of every such attempt. I can see that it would quickly get annoying

Human Torch has posed:
Johnny Storm looks between the two, "What? What reflexes and enhanced senses? Who," he turns to Power Girl, "Her? Blondie here?"

He looks her over and grabbing his wallet and pulling out a card he hands it to her, "Johnny...J'Storm to my friends. You ever need the Fantastic Four or..." pause "Me to help, give me a call."

"Or Text"

"Or Tweet."

"Or E-Mail."

"Or Snapchat."

"Or Instagram.

"Or snail mail."

Then pointing to the bottom of the card, "Or you can even just show up," adds boyish smile.

Power Girl has posed:
To her credit, Power Girl plays it down. "I can move a little quickly when I need to, but I'd rather not get into that particular mess if I can help it." she states, before her attention goes to Johnny. She manages a smile, but she's not really caught up in the fame.

"I don't uh... Use a phone, or... Twittter, or really have much need for an e-mail, a snapchat and instagram would be too difficult to manage and snail mail is too slow- but I'll figure something out if we need you guys over in the Baxter Building."

She says this while tucking the card into a pocket in her glove. Then, she looks to Sarah, and nods. "You're not wrong, by the way. But still, it's more awkward to brush it off than it is just to recognize what's going on and avoid the situation altogether."

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Sarah admits, "I am kind of socially inept. A machine I can figure out, and you probably do not want to play baseball agaist me, but figuring out what makes people tick, I get lost in trying to work that out. Mosdt guys...well they seem friendly enough, until they realize I am smarter than they are. At that point, most of them cease being interested. Why do blond looks, like ours, attract me who are repulsed by brains?"

Human Torch has posed:
Johnny Storm rolls his eyes and sighs.

Girl Talk. He just holds the place in line.

Power Girl has posed:
Seemingly skeptical about the route the conversation has taken, Power Girl's head tilts slightly to one side before she speaks up again. "I uh... Suppose that is all stuff that I needed to know. I don't really play baseball against anyone, because it's really just not fair. I also don't really ever presume or need to know how the minds of men work, so I can't answer your question. Might want to ask the guy you're here with."

Sarah Osborn has posed:
Sarah shakes her head, "Yeah, I can understand that. I mean, Kryptonians can not find competition for anything physical or mental with most anyone." She has a similar problem to a lesser degree, so she sympathizes. She glances at Johnny, "So can you answer the question J'storm? Why do most guys seem to be attracted by the figures or women like myself or Power Girl, but get quickly uninterested once we show ourselves to e intilectually equal or superior?"

Human Torch has posed:
"Ummm...aahhhh... Hmm," Johnny thinks about it for a moment then says, "Ummm..well..."

"I can't speak for all guys annnnd I gotta go," he begins to float up.

"Hit me up, I'll tell ya later," he throws up a peace sign and begins to head away.

Power Girl has posed:
There is this small nod as Sarah turns to investigate the matter with Johnny instead of Peej, so in response the woman simply lets it play out. It's not as if anything she says is going to change anything- and admittedly, she's not entirely interested in forcibly prolonging the conversation by stopping the Torch.
